V Hotel Bencoolen

Communication with the staff was smooth and we were greeted very pleasantly by Sayyid at the reception. The hotel location was great and the breakfast was plentiful. Overall we had a very pleasant and successful 3 night visit.

De locatie van het hotel is echt ideaal: vlak bij een MRT-station en op loopafstand van verschillende leuke wijken, bezienswaardigheden en veel eetgelegenheden. Vanuit het hotel konden we Singapore dan ook gemakkelijk verkennen. Onze kamer was wat aan de kleine kant, maar wel netjes, schoon en vooral heerlijk rustig. De bedden waren prima en we hebben er goed geslapen. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de service was goed.

Een klein verbeterpuntje: we hadden het fijn gevonden als er naast de badhanddoeken ook een klein handdoekje voor het afdrogen van je handen aanwezig was.

We had a stressful start to our trip when our airline delayed our luggage, but Kelli at reception was exceptionally helpful and understanding to the point of extending our check-out time to much later in the day, even offering to help and have our luggage sent to the the Hotel (which wasn't needed in the end, thankfully). Overall the hotel itself is decent and very reasonably priced for the location. It's an easy walk to many of the major shopping and dining districts and super close to the Bencoolen Metro station if it's too hot to walk. Can easily recommend for anyone on a budget looking for a basic room with exceptionally helpful staff.

Schon winzige Zimmer, trotz uprade. Man wusste kaum wohin mit dem Gepäck. Dafür Lage super und für eine Nacht ausreichend.

Etwas größere Zimmer wären gut gewesen.

Staff were extremely helpful assisting with taking luggage to our room, giving information, storing bags on last day and offering a room to shower before our flight. The Dowtown Train is so close and easy to access, the Circle Line isn't too far either.

There was no milk (creamer) for coffee but we just had to ring reception and they brought it up.

The young man wearing spectacles at the reception allowed us to check in when we arrived at around 10am from the airport. We found the location to be excellent for access to MRT. The nearest station is only 100 metres from hotel. Catching Grab taxi service was also easy. We normally can get a ride in less than 10 minutes. Food options nearby was plentiful and reasonably priced. We like Albert Centre market and food Centre for wide variety and cleanliness.

The room was compact in size. We had to manoeuvre around as we had 2 large suitcases. Soundproofing can be improved. We were blessed with quiet guests in rooms next to ours during our stay

Die Lage, und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Das Zimmer war extrem klein (obwohl ich auf ein größeres Zimmer upgegradet worden bin). Der Pool bzw. der Raum um den Pool war nicht ansprechend.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We arrived early before the check in time but the staff let us into our rooms early.

The staff were very accommodating when we asked to change a double bed for two single beds, they helped us by upgrading our rooms and also ensured our three rooms were next to each other. The shower was great! The location was perfect. Quiet and close to transport. We would be happy to recommend this hotel and return on our next trip. Thankyou!

Would have liked a little more room for luggage in the family room.

The hotel is very conveniently located, right above the MRT, which made getting around incredibly easy. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Our room was also kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay, thanks especially to May, who did a wonderful job. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

The standard rooms are on the smaller side, so if you’re travelling with a lot of luggage, the space can feel a little tight. That said, we still found it manageable and comfortable for our stay. Overall, a lovely experience.

Close to Bencoolen MRT and bus stops. Great air conditioning and clean rooms. Staff were so helpful and I was able to check in early and stay late due to my flight times with no extra cost!

The rooms are compact. It was a good size for one person but would be very small for two people plus luggage.

We had a wonderful stay at V Bencoolen. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few steps from the MRT, making it very convenient to explore Singapore. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were absolutely excellent: friendly, helpful and always available with a smile. Overall, a very pleasant experience and definitely a hotel I would recommend to anyone visiting Singapore. We would happily stay here again!. Highly recommended!

Great little property located next to the metro train which makes it easy to get to and from the airport. Easy walking distance to many attractions. Bed was comfortable, room was spotless. Small bar fridge was in the room. They allowed for early check in after we arrived at 8am from a long haul flight (13 hours) which we really appreciated and then let us check out up until 6pm on the day we left due to our flight being at 9pm. Again they waived the late check out fee which was amazing. All of the staff were exceptional. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Like others have said the room is small, but we were not in there for long - we were too busy exploring.

The hotel is located next to an MRT station. The rooms are extremely clean, and slippers/toothbrushes/toothpaste are provided. The staff was lovely, particularly Kelli. I unfortunately missed my first night at the hotel due to travel issues, but Kelli made sure I was comfortable on my remaining nights by giving me a room with a nice view, and offering free breakfast and a very late checkout. I'll be back!

The location, next door to the MRT station, was great and made travelling around Singapore and to/from the airport very easy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are small as previously mentioned in reviews.

The noise from neighbouring rooms was annoying as well as inconsiderate guests talking loudly in the corridor.

The buffet breakfast was excellent. All the staff were very helpful to us in every way on the last day Kellie at reception very kindly let us have the use of a nice cool room so we could refresh before checkout for our late flight. Kellie also kindly arranged for the room for our next stay in one month to suit our preferences very well. Danny was very helpful with arrangements for our luggage and for finding us an excellent local coffee spot. Both Kellie and Danny are real assets to your hotel business and gave us good reasons to return to V Hotel Bencoolen when we next visit Singapore.

The room is very small (i.e no closets, but we were fine with living from pur luggage). Socket only near one side of the bed. The family that stayed next door to us kept ringing our bell... but these are all small things, the room was fine and we liked it

Sehr nettes Personal. Wir hatten einen Rückflug abends von SIN nach MUC und bekamen das kostenlose Angebot einen Late Check-Out erst um 18:30 zu machen. Das was super nett und gab uns die Möglichkeit nach einem weiteren Sightseeing Tag in der City abends gemütlich alles zusammenzupacken und uns nochmals frisch zu machen. Nochmals vielen Dank an Mr. Sayyid: Thank you so much.

Zimmer könnten größer sein.

Uns wurde ein verlängertes Checkout gewährt und zusätzlich für eine Stunde ein Zimmer nach Checkout zum Frischmachen gegeben. Personal sehr freundlich!
