The resort was absolutely beautiful and one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at. It was our first time in Phuket, and we truly loved the resort. We had an amazing experience and hope to come back again

There were not many food options for children. It would be great to have more variety and kid-friendly choices.

The only positive aspect of our stay was the reception staff. They were polite, professional, and genuinely helpful, doing their best despite the hotel’s poor condition.

The hotel has declined significantly in quality and is in urgent need of a complete renovation. There is an unpleasant odor coming from stagnant water beneath the parquet flooring. The breakfast arrangement was also disappointing. We had booked a buffet breakfast, but it was changed to room service without any prior notice or agreement.

Nothing of the facilities in our room actually works the pool and jacuzzi were not clean there was all kinds of insects and lizards

The property was large with big bathrooms clean.

The property is very tired and the location very run down which is a shame. The outside space was disappointing and the pools were in need of TLC.

Erittäin viihtyisä rantahuvila omalla sisäpihalla, jossa uima-allas ja aurinkotuolit ja -pedit. Huvila oli todella iso ja kauniisti sisustettu. Hotelli sijaitsi ihan rannan tuntumassa. Ranta oli kaunis ja rauhallinen. Aamiaisella ei ollut ruuhkaa ja vaihtoehtoja oli riittävästi. Kaikki tarjottavat oli kauniisti aseteltu. Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. Hotellilla oli myös iso yhteinen uima-allas, jota vieraat käyttivät vähän. Saimme uida ihan rauhassa kahdestaan :) Kylälle noin 15 minuutin kävelymatka, tuktuk-kyyti maksoi 50 bathia yhteen suuntaan. Kylässä pari kauppaa ja muutama ravintola. Jos etsit rauhallista paikkaa, vahva suositus tälle. Omaa rauhaa sai, ranta oli noin 7 km pituinen

Ranta oli luonnonsuojelualueella, mutta turistit jättivät roskia rannalle. Sieltä löytyi muovia, tyhjiä lasipulloja, tupakka-askeja jne. Ranta ei missään nimessä ollut likainen, mutta tuokin välinpitämättömyys harmitti. Hotellin ruokien ja palvelujen hinnat aika korkeat, hintaan lisättiin vielä 10% palvelumaksu ja tietenkin 7% alv. Suurin osa turisteista oli venäläisiä ja palvelut suunnattu selkeästi heille.

We checked in afternoon. We booked three rooms. Villa for 3 nights, the villa was huge for four people. rooms are very specious and ensuit bathroom where the same. living room nicely laid out and very nice decorated it. Air conditioning was perfect. Reception was really slow and check in almost not prepared for Our arrival although transport was arranged by the hotel from the airport. Their transportation service was poor. The villa itself was marvelous although of some need for maintenance here and there. in room dining was good. There was difficulty of understanding English with some of the staff. pool needed maintenance and fortunately the flooring of the pool was too sharp that my kids got many scratches. Breakfast was too poor. Beach wasn’t cleaned and looks abandoned although it is very beautiful. Pool wasnt heated and jaccuzi wasnt working. I believe if the management changed this hotel will be a real gem in mai khao.

Very tranquil, the accommodation was incredibly, spacious and comfortable. The private pools were fantastic for privacy and relaxation. The staff are so lovely and welcoming, our stay was made extra special with a surprise birthday cake.

If I had to be picky, some extra coat hangers would have been nice. But overall a fantastic venue, close to the airport and local attractions.

The villa is so spacious. We were stunned by how big it is. It's a quiet place you can really relax. The breakfast was very good and the service is excellent.

You can hardly find anything to complain. The one small thing is the air conditioning in the gym is not strong enough.

Love this place it’s a dream come true everything about it is amazing the site the staff the level of stay is higher than 5 stars I give it 10/10 it is my target for my next visit to Phuket

The beach was natural and beautiful, the beach villa accommodation was vast with an idyllic view of the sea. And its own large private pool and jacuzzi.

It looked tired with much overdue maintenance including doors in the villa that didn’t fully close leaving gaps for mozzies and the ability to open a ‘locked’ garden door.

I was blown away at this resort. The villas were so amazing and my family really enjoyed the pools. We got plenty to eat at breakfast and it was an easy walk to town for any other meal. The staff immediately responded to any issue. The gym facility was small but nice. The beach was lovely and quiet.

The villas were spacious, beautiful and comfortable. Bed was perfect, not too soft and not hard. Staff lovely, helpful. Beach clean and quiet. We wanted quiet, we did not want to be anywhere near crowded places, and Mai Khao Beach is exactly this.

Maikhao Dream is very near to airport, it's only 15-20min. As our flight was late, We arrived at the villa pretty late, around 9pm, but we were still greeted by their friendly and helpful receptionist. Our return flight was early. We still have time to have our breakfast at 6.30am. The villa is a little old but facilities are still in good condition. We booked a 2 bedroom villa but were give a 3 bedroom villa with humongous bedrooms, living room and toilets, for my family of 5 with the 3rd room locked. They were generous with complimentary drinking water too. There is a deep pool with abt 1.7m and 1.2m deep pool at the 2nd storey. My boys enjoyed the facilities a lot. Pool and jacuzzi are just in front of the master room so can easily watch my kids playing. The resort is in front of Maikhao beach, it's quiet and very private. But no water sports. Morning waves is quite big. It has a nice view of sunset. Breakfast was pretty decent. We had 3 days of breakfast there and the staples were always different, the rest were pretty much the same. Overall, no complaints. In front of the breakfast dining hall, there's a main pool too. Parents can enjoy their breakfast while the kids are playing at the pool.

The place, staff, beach, cleanness and facilities were just perfect.

I couldn’t stay there forever.

I mean the villas for that price and beach access was great. Only issue would be they may need to do some maintenance around the property - for example our door was difficult opening & closing due to a part of the wood getting stuck. Location is truly For those who want to be in their own bubble everything else is about 20-30 mins from resort. Staff was incredible but felt bad that they were short staffed possibly due to the time of season we were there?

We had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend Dream Villa to anyone seeking a relaxed and calming holiday experience on the beach.

Spacious and decent location. Staff were nice and attentive. Villa was quite spacious . Food was ok but small selection. Breakfast was decent.

Over priced. 10 years ago perhaps worth the money. 10% service charge on everything which is already way over priced from food to spa . Maintenance and upkeep not where it should be across the property. Food was good but very little variety. Kids club isn’t a kids club it’s a play area.

The property is stunning, We booked a 3 bedroom villa with a private pool and that completely exceeded all our expectations. This was the fag end of a long thailand trip and hence we wanted a villa to all stay together and relax together. And that the villa exceeded all our expectations - is an understatement. The living areas, the bedrooms, the outdoors were all stunning and we cant compliment it enough. The property does not offer much other but it does not require for it too, as one would not want to leave their own villa for long. Its connected to a nice quiet beach which we used to go for long walks on. The staff is also very helpful and kind. The Breakfast could also do with some better Variety

We had a very sorry experience with the food. As we are pure vegetarians and we repeatedly requested for the same - we were still served with bolognaise spaghetti as well as prawns in our thai curry. This was absolutely shocking and really did not help with kids as well as my parents. We could not order Thai Food anymore as some of them were just scarred. The head chef did his best to meet our requests with Indian Food but the damage had been done. That was really the only sore thumb in an otherwise fantastic property. Unfortunately the area being quite secluded - there are not any food order in options as well. So thats something the resort needs to look at - improve the quality of your kitchen staff and variety.

The space is really amazing 👏 great for big group and family, very friendly staff and helpful.

Maybe need more breakfast options

The staff were phenomenal in their kindness and great level of service. Zabira was one of many from the staff who was doing everything possible to make sure we are happy and comfortable.

The property had its glorious days, that’s for sure but its current condition is quite poor, especially for the rate they charge per night, is not low at all. There is a mountain of maintenance work that needs to be done in that place and we could tell that it’s not doing well in terms of occupancy. The outdoors area mainly is the one that has more work to be done more than the inside.

Stayed at the Villa. Villa was beautiful, nice layout with a private pool. Nothing negative on this front. However, signs of wear and tear were quite evident with upkeep of the premises lacking. If left unchecked, it will deteriorate further and may not be worth the value staying there in future. Doors misaligned, paint flaking off, furniture chipped etc. The private pool in the villa needs to be repaired badly. Mosaic tiles were missing and my friend's son and mine sustained a cut from the missing tiles. My wife and her friend visited the spa. Highly unprofessional. Air-con was not working well, room was hot and humid, no change of spa clothes, massage was expected to be done in own attire, no change of spa attire provided until demanded. Usually, pre-spa treatment would also entail a food wash or towels to freshen up. Nothing was provided. Service was no better than those street side massage establishments but yet have to pay premium price. Service by hotel staff was excellent. Staff were highly attentive and always ready with a greeting and smile. Issues were attended to promptly. This was the main saving grace. I would love to return on proviso some upgrades and repairs are carried out.

The location is very peaceful loved the villas so spacious and luxurious we stated at the 2 bedroom. Beachfront villa .absolutely fantastic. The staff is very nice. But definitely service and the chk inn counter can be more warm .overall amazing.

The breakfast . It's unlike a resort breakfast very basic and limited breakfast it can be much better .and fresh .

The view, the staff, the location all 5-stars. The staff goes above and beyond in ensuring that every need is meet. This is definitely an amazing resort!

First off the villa is even bigger in person than the photos. It's massive. And when you book a 1 bedroom it's really 2 and they lock the second bedroom door. The 3 bedrooms are right behind you with less of a view. The private pool was nice and good size. It gets dirty often but the cleaning crew does an exceptional job cleaning it. So if you swim right after you're good. Other times questionable from both bugs and random deris from trees. Jacuzzi wasn't hot. I didn't care, but maybe there was a way to heat it up and I didn't notice. Seemed a bit dirty/stained anyway. But you had the tub inside so i didnt care. Outdoor space in general was huge and usable. Bed was pretty comfy. Some level of privacy from bedroom windows but pool windows let in all eyes and no way to fully close all shades there. Kitchen was fine and even had a wine chiller. Odd placement of microwave though. Bathroom was nice and tub was massive. Just a very odd sliding door for toilet and shower. Can't be closed at the same time. For a couple that's fine but for a family maybe not. It's right on a beach with very few people and a 10second walk to the sandy area with live music every night from a lovely singer. I never used the public pool but it looked big and nice. The cleaning service was a big giant team and they cleaned every little pine needle. They did a great job overall.

The main reason for the 7 is the location. It's so so far away from everything in phuket. I started by riding a motorcycle and it was over an hour each way in traffic and extreme heat. Eventually we switched to taxi and it was minimum 1000thb each way or more for standard grab car along with 2hrs of total driving per day. There isn't much to do nearby. A couple convenience stores and restaurants. So just basic needs via 5min on motorcycle. Can't really walk there quickly. And the worst thing was many many tours refuse to pick you up even if you offer 2000+ extra cash. So you end up booking the tour and then pay taxi on top of it and have a longer day. Plus its on you. If youre late with your separate taxi they leave without you. A few times we even double booked hotels in the south to reduce transport times. The location is the incredible downfall. It's such a shame as so many aspects to this villa were amazing. If you want an extremely private trip and never go anywhere then I'm sure you'll love it. The second biggest thing was service. No one helped with bags from taxi to front desk up stairs and steep ramp. I called for room service and they said they'll call back (already odd at 5 star hotel) and then they didn't call. The wifi stopped working half way through the trip and we complained more than once but it never got fixed. The food was also not amazing at dinner. It was fine in a pinch. Breakfast was lacking and never changed. I'd recommend not prepaying and just buy on days you have little time before leaving. Then it's ok. Also the general upkept of the place like cracked glass, mold, missing paint was very evident. Doesn't bother me but I know it will bother other people. I was only bothered by missing chess pieces in the chess set. Also 1 door was unusable it was so stuck. And all the doors in the house like to close and be annoying when walking through the soace.

For me personally it was a great place to unwind and totally relax! The beach is a dream with incredible sun sets every day! There weren’t many people around so it was perfect; quiet and peaceful. The villas are gorgeous! With their own swimming pool and jacuzzi. Highly recommended!

Everything doesn’t work well the bathroom the doors, air conditionan and the floor it’s bad and very dangerous. All is bad.

Excellent Service and Great Place to stay. The villa is right infront of the beach. Amazing and quiet beach compared to Patong or even kata beach. For families that like to unwind to get the peaceful vibe of the hotel. Spending qualty time with your love ones, this is the place to go.

The grounds are beautiful. The beachfront pool villa is fantastic. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beach is very quiet and clean. Great location for a couple of days before flying since it’s near the airport. Wish we had stayed one more night.

The food menu is limited and since it’s secluded, there aren’t many options around. Some of the doors in the villa were not working properly, and for the cost, it should be maintained better.

We arrived with high expectations and the 3-bedroom villa was lovely and very large, however, they gave us a terrible room next to the main hotel with air conditioning units chugging away in our pool courtyard and spoiling the peace. We complained and were moved the next day. The sea wasn't really visible from the hotel, but the sea was. We were looking forward to swimming, but the sea was very rough and red flags prohibiting anyone from getting in. One of the days we went for a walk on the beach we found nothing but plastic rubbish! It was truly shocking! This hotel is in they middle of nowhere - so not good for teenagers who want to go out in the evening. There was a 7-Eleven and pharmacy nearby, but very little else, so you have no choice but to eat at the hotel. We ended up going out every day and spent most of our time away from the hotel, which cost quite a bit in taxi fares. We would spend one hour driving to Patong or Kamala beach, which we loved, and 1+ hours coming back. So there was a lot of driving done to get to any places of interest. Sadly there was only 1 restaurant, so by the end of our stay we were bored with the menu. Although the staff were lovely and tried their very best they do need more training and the food was very mediocre. Sometimes the language barrier meant you didn't get what your expected from room service - more so when asking for non-Thai food. Be careful what you consume in the rooms as the cost of everything is high compared to outside the hotel. They put Evian water in all the bottles in all the bathrooms and each one cost nearly THB300! Going at this time of year was not a good idea, as we had quite a bit of rain and it was very windy too. If we come back it will be to a different part of Phuket and a different time of year.

The breakfasts provided in your restaurant are surprisingly tasty and varied. I enjoyed every morning the varied dishes served with great care and attention to detail. It really lifted my spirits for the whole day. Your hotel also offers a variety of activities and services and I found the location to be ideal for both romantic getaways and family holidays. Necessary metrics such as cleanliness, comfort and safety were at the highest level, which created a trusting atmosphere for guests. Every thing pool beach can't say more

Great solo getaway as compared to the popular tourist beach (Patong Beach), lesser people while I was there (end Sept 2023) Great in room dining service and food! Would love to recommend to friends and family if they are travelling to Phuket anytime soon.

Me and my hubby are spending our 4th Wedding Anniversary in Phuket. Maikhao Dream Villa Resort is such a perfect place for us!! The villa is very spacious, the hotel managers, activities manager and staffs are very cheerful, helpful, nice and friendly. We enjoy every minute in the resort and we will come back for sure! This resort is highly recommended if you are looking for a spacious, beautiful and a quiet place to relax and layback :)

Housekeeping , food,Maintenance and repairs at the resort ll have to be upgraded and improved to a vey high standard . Very disappointed by the quality and the conditions. Th eonly good thing were the staff Pin , Rudy and the Nepali girl i think Shalini Pandey

12-15 minutes drive away from Phuket International Airport, area was quiet, not much of tourist as people tend to stay hotels at patong beach instead of Mai Khao. I arrived before 9.30am as I checked out at my previous hotel which was also 15 minutes drive away from Dream Villa. The check in was smooth and it took less than 30 minutes for my villa to be ready! Do note that check in time is at 2pm. The. Villa is huge for one adult and I enjoyed my stay, my villa was facing the beach and I’m able to witnessed sunset and sunrise from the comfort of the bed.

The facilities are very old and broken. When I opened the water in the bathtub, the water came out was yellow is color. I contacted the hotel staff and they send some staffs check and repair. They fixed for 1 hour and told me they will send someone to fix again tomorrow morning and maybe it is the color of the bathroom light that caused me to think the water is yellow in color. But I think it is definitely not the case and the explanation is not acceptable. The water is not mild yellow color at all. The pipe may be very old and caused the water color become yellow in color. I am so worried that I cannot get into the bathtub at all even they said they "fixed it" as the water is still same yellow color after they "fixed it". Then, after a while, I found out the toilet is easily got stuck. I contacted the staff again and they sent someone to fix. One more thing which I found not acceptable is that when I check-in the hotel, that staff told me that the breakfast included is not buffet, I have to choose from the menu list when I check-in. I chose what I wanted and they asked me if I want to have breakfast in my room or in the hotel restaurant. I chose to eat my breakfast at my room at 7am. At 7.05am, they called me and said breakfast cannot send to me room and I need to go to restaurant to eat. I almost missed my flight for the late notice. The breakfast is NOT TASTY and COLD. The hotel price per day is over HKD$1800 dollar , for this price range, it is really NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Absolutely amazing stay, could not have asked for a better place especially as we had stayed near Patong when we first arrived. Opted for a more quieter location for the second half of the trip and found the resort online. The private pool, 500sqm villa equiped with full kitchen and aircon in all rooms, absolutley exceeded our expectations. Our pool area opened up onto a private beach which was a short stroll. We had sunset views and the staff were absolutely phenomenal with catering to our needs. We meet the owner William who orginates from Holland. He was very accomodating as we had a late flight back and was able to extend our checkout time. I highly recommend going to Phuket in the low season (Monsoon season) as the weather is still amazing, only got caught in the rain once while on the back of a sooter however the air is so warm that it really wasn't a bother. 10/10 best holiday I have had and already planning my next trip back.

The place looks the same as it was a few years ago however the cleanliness changed for the worst. There are no butlers like before. The tv channels was not good quality. They didn’t set up cushions for pool area until I requested.

Old used property. Needs renovation ASAP. The AC needs improvement. Also there’s empty huge gaps between the doors which let humidity enters the villa.

This villa was absolutely AMAZING! It was worth every penny! The living and dining area was large, we had an infinity pool & jacuzzi, a nice private patio/lounge area, and the beach was right outside of our bedroom. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. They brought breakfast to our villa daily and they were very accommodating. They even brought me a cake to celebrate my birthday. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this resort! You won’t be disappointed!

The room was really spacious, clean and nice. It was the best trip with family. I will never forget the hospitality I received from the staff upon check-out. I feel grateful for the kindness of the staff.

out of 4 tvs only one was a smart tv, the other ones you could only see local television, so we couldn’t use those at all. Flooring had some cracks so we had to be careful stepping in certain areas and you could only have 2 complementary coffees Restaurant was overpriced and food wasn’t great (small and tasteless)
