The location , parking and the comfy room

The breakfast let it down … not a fan of pre ordering the night before as some of the food was luke warm . As soon as we sat down the breakfast arrived leaving us no time to help ourselves to cereal , yoghurt fruit etc. The room ( room 3 ) had no bedside lighting within reach as the sockets for the lighting over the bed were to far away.

A choice of cooked breakfast options, all of which were excellent. Good location in central Tenby, and the allocated parking was easy to find.

Staff were lovely and accommodating - we arrived earlier than check-in and they allowed us in early. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room which was on the ground floor by the breakfast room, but noise wasn't an issue considering that. The room was comfortable and spacious with facilities for coffee/tea making, a small mini fridge for the milk. Bathroom had a walk-in shower which was a rainfall head with a handheld head for more concentrated water flow. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Husband and I both had the full breakfast on our first morning, and then I had eggs benedict the second morning which I would absolutely recommend - it was stunning! Everyone was so friendly and would chat during breakfast time. Location was fantastic - not even a five minute walk to the castle walls entrance to the shops/pubs, and beach is nearby too.

The owners are lovely people, you get a very warm welcome, the room was spotless, breakfast amazing, location great and they have their own parking which is a bonus.

Mark and Debbie were friendly and welcoming hosts. The room was very clean and had all the essentials we needed. The breakfast was lovely with a lot of choice. There is an option for a protein shake instead of a having a cooked breakfast which is a great idea too.

Our second time staying at the Sleepy Puffin, Mark and Debbie are really friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. Good choice of alternatives, Car parking is very useful, just a little way down a rough path.

Great location very close to the centre of Tenby. Secure car parking just across the road and included in the price. Fabulous breakfast and very friendly and welcoming hosts. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, quiet and friendly location in the heart of Tenby.

The property is ideally situated,spotlessly clean, with the added bonus of secure free parking,used local transport never used the Car once.Debbie&Mark are tremendous,nothing to much trouble.All in All a great place to stay. The property was central for exploring Tenby on foot and close to many bars, restaurants and pubs. We were greeted warmly by our hosts and the breakfast included was wonderful. We had access to car parking just across the street. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Great location an easy walk to the beach and town. Parking across the road in a pass encoded carpark. Comfy bed and nice varied breakfast.

The bathroom was very small and it wasn't clear how to manage the parking to begin with as you have to stop on double yellow lines outside the hotel to get the keys to access the carpark.

We liked the very high quality and delicious breakfast, the great details and accessories (most of them showing puffins - how cute!), the spacious room and the great landlords. The car park is located just a minute's walk away, which is very handy. All in all, it's the perfect place for a stay in Tenby.

Convenient for the town. Excellent breakfast.

Rather small double bed. Due to hot weather room was very warm at night. If you like a cooler room ask for a room at the back that will not be in the sun all day. If you are a smoker, no outdoor smoking space.

Having just returned for a few days staying at the Sleepy Puffin in Tenby I can highly recommend a stay there. Debbie and Mark were lovely hosts. The breakfast was lovely and the room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Free parking was a plus and the location was a five minute walk to the town centre. Would definitely stay there again.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, großartiges Frühstück, guter Parkplatz und die Lage dicht zur Innenstadt. Man sollte wissen, dass man zunächst direkt vor der Unterkunft parkt, dann bekommt man man den Schlüssel mit einem Chip für den Zugang zum Parkplatz, der dicht bei ist.

Die Lage an einer vielbefahrenen Straße ( manchmal etwas laut). Gibt aber auch ein Zimmer nach hinten, was zu bevorzugen ist.

It was extremely quiet in the evenings, but a short walk into the centre for more vibrancy. The location was great for exploring the area. Breakfast was tasty and filling and the host was super friendly. Off street parking just across the way.

Creaky floors and we weren’t sure where to stop or park on arrival. Perhaps a note letting guests know to pull up in front and let the host know you have arrived. We were able to park out front to load and unload the car.

Some very squeaky floorboards in our room - we were very wary of walking in the room as we thought we would wake other guests. Minor, but would be good to fix them.

We booked for just one night to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The guest house was in an excellent location for the town and beaches. An added bonus was parking facilities very close to the Sleepy Puffin with secure locked spaces. The room was clean and comfortable, and Mark and Debbie were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, with many options and huge!! If we stay again in Tenby, this would definitely be our first option. Great value for the price. If you have mobility issues, there is a bedroom on the ground floor. The stairs are steep.
