Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Rustic and provincial elegance at its best. It feels very serene from the entrance all the way to the rooms. The service is exceptional and genuinely friendly. All the staff were very welcoming but speciale thanks to Mr. Pasquale Bernardo who was extremely so from the time of arrival all the way to the last day.
It was all impeccable.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Posizione servizi personale

Reviewed Aug 14, 2024We could not rate Masseria Torre Maizza highly enough. All of the staff were exceptional and tended to any and all of our needs. The facilities were fantastic and the food both breakfast (included in our stay) and the meals by the pool, at the beach club and in the main restaurant were superb. Many thanks to all for a great stay!
We could not fault anything!

Reviewed Jun 20, 2024The staff is incredible, really on top of things. Loved the overall atmosphere of the hotel, it's very quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast in the morning, buffet as well as a la carte.
I expected the room to be a bit bigger and have a bit more daylight. I think it's not as luxurious as the hotel in general.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2024My husband and I stayed at Rocco Forte in Puglia and really enjoyed our stay. It is a slow pace environment surrounded by nature. It is a great place to go and relax, enjoy the spa, your room/ patio. Walk the property, play a little golf, relax by the pool and enjoy some cocktails. The food is great, there is a delicious buffet in the mornings with views of the garden. It would be lovely if they added a water fountain to add a soothing effect in the mornings. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place. The only issue we had was the cocktails at the beach club were not good. Stick to a bottle of wine. The beach club is not much of a beach club, it’s nice and the food is amazing but very slow. We still had an amazing time. Also , the rooftop at Rocco Forte where you could go and enjoy drinks should be set up with furniture/ seating, and a bar up there with music playing. I think it would really elevate the experience there. Overall we had a good time, we left relaxed and with good memories.

Reviewed Sep 21, 2022Such a beautiful place! As on my own I had one of the smaller rooms but it had a huge terrace (with 2 sun loungers and a table and chairs). The bedroom was perfectly designed - practical as well as beautiful - a proper desk, long hanging for a long dress, somewhere good to sit and read a book, a lovely shower room - the list goes on. Everywhere in the hotel was pretty and in a relaxed and homely Italian style. Fun bright fabrics with attention to little details. The shop was amazing -breakfasts fantastic, pool service tremendous .... where does one stop ...?
I chose food for dinner and lunch badly - my guests did far better. The salad only come with some of the things promised in it and took quite a while to arrive.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2022Wonderful place to relax and enjoy Puglia. The staff is absolutely incredible. The food is delicious. The hotel grounds are beautiful. Go for a slow pace and to enjoy life. If you are looking for non-stop action, not the place for you. Renting a car is suggested for day trips to other towns in Puglia.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2021A beautiful hotel in a beautiful environment. Great, great service. The devil is in the detail: open book on the table and when we came back, there was a bookmarker in it. Glasses on a shelf, when we came back there was a glasses cleaning cloth under it... Everybody kind and helpful; the word "no" does not exist here...

Reviewed Sep 7, 2021What a hidden gem! Everything about our stay was first rate. Warm and welcoming staff, gorgeous property, stellar rooms (with great blackout shutters), and great food. You are in the middle of all sorts of day excursions (Matera, Locorotundo, Alberobello, Monopoli), yet you feel a million miles away from everything.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2018We stayed here 3 nights out of 10 in Puglia. Loved the room and grounds and an excellent base to explore Ostuni, Polignano, Alberobello, etc. The 2 areas of improvement would be the beds- extremely hard and not comfortable - and wished they had an espresso machine in the room which is typical of other hotels in this area in same price range.

Reviewed Oct 12, 2016We stayed 5 nights at Masseria Torre Maizza just out of season and were really impressed. The facilities were first class and the staff were superb without exception. The rooms are beautiful and have everything (except an ironing board) needed to make a stay comfortable and luxurious. The hotel restaurant is outstanding - great food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. There's a 9 hole par 3 golf course on site, which looked okay, but if you want golf the San Domenico championship course is 2 minutes away. The pool area has real charm as does the bar area. An excellent hotel in all respects, highly recommended.

Io sto già pensando a ripetere l'esperienza!!!
