We have been visiting Puglia for almost 20 years and have stayed at many wonderful places during that time. Masseria San Francesco has truly been our best experience in Puglia so far. The Masseria is a very special place. The beautiful architecture, stunning views and peaceful atmosphere make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. What made our stay even more special was the warmth and genuine friendliness of the entire team. Everyone made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. We are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

Let’s focus on the positives first: it’s a beautiful hotel aesthetically and the gardens are exquisitely maintained. Everything is very elegant. The location is incredibly convenient for the wonderful town of Savilletri and the superb Masserias locally some of which are very grand and wondeful. Almost everything you could wish for in terms of dining is within a 20 minute drive. The hotel organised our restaurant reservations for us very kindly when I advise them where we would to eat in advance of our stay. The Borgo Egnazia golf course is good and nearby. Whilst there are some limited golf facilities at the hotel, they are in poor condition on account of the very dry weather and grass condition. If you’re considering booking, you should also know that there are some limitations to the hotel. The main issues are twofold. 1. There is no personality, no front of house, nobody anywhere. There are sweet reception staff and waiting staff who bring food or drinks, lovely grounds personnel but there’s no management, no authority, no character. It took until the sixth day of our holiday and many requests before we were able to get hold of someone who could take responsibility for the fact that they had placed us in a different room type to the type booked but continued to charge us the higher rate. This was all resolved amicably but had anyone showed us around or introduced us at the beginning of our stay we would have felt more favourable towards the hotel. Our room, whilst elegant, was tiny as was the bathroom and was not designed with guest experience in mind, having no storage whatsoever and no hooks on which one could hang items or towels in the bathroom. This was challenging during a nine day stay. Secondly, because there is no management, there is nobody to advise that in fact the guest experience is going to be compromised by events held during your stay. On two evenings of our stay the party music went on until at least 1 am and on one of these evenings my partner was compelled to go and shout for the music to be turned down as he hadn’t been able to sleep. Given that this event had been organised by the hotel it was out that this should have been necessary given that guest experience should presumably have been their priority. We found the breakfasts poor by English and continental standards and the service in the main evening restaurant quite poor also, forgetful and slow even on a quiet evening. Dinner was perfectly fine, but the wine list was marked up to greater degree than other restaurants locally of a similar standing. Send some respect this is a five star recommendation and others only one star. It was a mixed experience. I don’t think it’s enough for hotels to look beautiful and I think that this hotel has possibly got its priorities mixed up.

All of it. From welcome to departure. Breakfast was excellent and the on site restaurant offered both the perfect position and a delicious menu. It was immaculate and everyone took a lot of pride in offering excellence in terms of service and facilities.

A very minor observation. We would have liked a separate adult only pool where you could exercise. There is a lot of space to provide one. The "rock pool" was brilliant for children but more of a shallow play pool. It's very geared to families and you need to be prepared for the noise and energy they bring - we were not with kids and loved it but it might not be for everyone.

Meticulously groomed, classically clean style, comfortable private and quiet. Staff were excellent and it was perfect for our family.

The bed was a bit hard for me but honestly there was nothing negative.

Zeer mooi hotel met prachtige gemeenschappelijke tuin en zwembad en de kamers zijn zeer ruim en netjes. Het ontbijt is zeer lekker en gevarieerd.

De cocktails aan het zwembad zijn duur en niet echt lekker jammer, het restaurant is lekker maar ook wel duur. Wij kregen een kamer in het nieuwe gedeelte waar de tuin nog niet volledig is aangelegd, het zicht kon beter wij keken uit op een wildernis en een graagmachine en dit aan 500€ per nacht!! Jammer genoeg was het ook onmogelijk om op het terras te zitten in de namiddag in volle zon er was geen schaduwdoek boven de luifel op het terras.

Masseria muito linda , quartos lindos e bem decorados . Tudo era lindo - ficamos encantados . Organizaram o aniversário de do meu marido , e superou todas as nossas expectativas . Nos colocaram numa sala reservada , éramos 12 pessoas, e decoraram a mesa lindamente , tudo com muito bom gosto , e foi servido um jantar muito bem elaborado e gostoso . Foi encantador ficar esses 3 dias na Masseria San Francesco .

Masseria San Francesco is an absolute paradise that delivers an unforgettable experience. The property itself is a stunning, pristine venue, making our six-night stay feel entirely magical. Every single meal was delicious, perfectly complemented by outstanding wines. The cocktails served at the bar were an experience not to miss while taking in the beautiful sunsets. What truly sets this hidden gem apart is the outstanding, warm hospitality. Despite our very limited Italian, the staff was incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive to our every need. We cannot recommend staying here highly enough!

Was able to spend several days at Masseria San Francesco with family and friends to celebrate a wedding. We had access to the entire venue and it was amazing! The venue, staff, accommodations, food was top notch! The grounds were stunning! When we had to pivot from holding the welcome reception from outdoors to indoors due to rain, the staff did not skip a beat and it was better than expected. Wedding day, the sun was out and it was a perfect day from start to finish. I do hope to return again to this gorgeous venue.

Alles sehr modern und sauber

Das zimmer war sehr klein, man hatte keinen Platz die Kleider zu verräumen. Wir hatten zudem einen Wasserschaden und die toilette, Lavabo und Dusche sind für mehrere Stunden nicht mehr abgelaufe . Es hat sehr gerochen.

Struttura molto accogliente e ben curata, con un’atmosfera rilassante e un piacevole silenzio che rende il soggiorno davvero confortevole. Location molto bella, ideale per staccare e rilassarsi.

Alcune piccole attenzioni andrebbero migliorate: non è stato possibile fare il massaggio di coppia, in camera mancava il telefono e durante la pulizia è stato dimenticato il tappetino del bagno. Dettagli che possono fare la differenza nell’esperienza complessiva.

Located in the heart of Puglia countryside, surrounded by beautiful scenery of centuries old olive trees; very well organised and spotless clean throughout. A very decent restaurant that serves excellent Italian food with a good wine selection (menu is updated daily as it should be). Very communicative restaurant and reception staff.

Spa facilities are at extra charge. One would expect at least a bottle of water and some tea or coffee as a complement in the room (it’s a nice gesture).

Nous avons passé 3 jours et 2 nuits à l’hôtel Masseria San Francesco et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle. Dès notre arrivée, le personnel a fait preuve d'une grande chaleur et d'une attention remarquable, tout particulièrement Lisa. La chambre était spacieuse, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, et offrait une vue reposante sur le jardin. Un lit très large et une literie de qualité, garantissent des nuits reposantes. Le petit-déjeuner était un vrai régal, mettant en avant des produits locaux frais. Le spa de l'hôtel enfin est une véritable oasis de détente, avec son hammam, son sauna et ses soins adaptés à chaque besoin. De plus, l’emplacement est idéal, à proximité des principaux sites touristiques. En résumé, cet hôtel allie confort, raffinement et service impeccable. Je le recommande vivement à quiconque souhaite passer un séjour inoubliable !

We spent three days and two nights at the Masseria San Francesco hotel and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely warm and attentive, especially Lisa. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered a relaxing view of the garden. A very large bed and high-quality bedding ensured a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a real treat, featuring fresh local produce. Finally, the hotel spa is a true oasis of relaxation, with its steam room, sauna, and treatments tailored to every need. What's more, the location is ideal, close to the main tourist attractions. In short, this hotel combines comfort, refinement, and impeccable service. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable stay!

Tutto molto bello elegante e arredato con gusto.

Assenza di armadio

La masseria è in una posizione strategica, vicinissima al mare e a tante altre città limitrofe, e dispone di tanti servizi come palestra all’aperto, zona golf, piscina e ampi prati in cui rilassarsi anche facendo una semplice camminata. Tutto lo staff è stato gentile e sorridente, in particolare la ragazza del bar e della colazione. Abbiamo passato una giornata di sole meravigliosa e rilassante. La camera era pulitissima e molto grande come anche il terrazzino.

Ho solo trovato leggermente “eccessivo” il supplemento applicato alla presenza del cane, avendo visitato parecchie masserie in zona non mi sono mai ritrovata a pagare una cifra di 50€ per un animale domestico. L’idea del kit e dello snack del cane è molto carina ma non vale la cifra applicata. Per il resto è stato tutto meraviglioso.

Lokalizacja absolutnie wspaniała, bardzo zadbana zieleń wokół obiektu, sam budynek to miejsce z duszą, w ciszy, harmonii, spokoju, poszanowaniu magicznej natury, która z każdej strony budynku ma swój indywidualny charakter. Obsługa hotelu wyjątkowo empatyczna, spokojna i pomocna.

Podróżowaliśmy w trójkę z córeczką i brakowało nam miejsca na ułożenie ubrań, albowiem pokój nie posiadał żadnej szafy. Ale widocznie to było częścią całości designu obiektu, w klimacie bardzo zen, prostoty i harmonii. NIe uznaję tego za ujmę lecz za cechę obiektu.

We loved the overall feel of the property, beautiful landscaping, relaxing spa design, warm restaurant vibe and generously large and comfortable accommodations. We appreciated the fact that they changed their lunch/dinner menu everyday, allowing us to sample different types of food from the region. The villas were very well appointed, with the traditional charm of masseria living with modern amenities; the view of the sea from our garden was a beautiful bonus. Cannot wait to go back during summer for a different luxury experience.

I would have preferred for the gym to have been indoors with better equipment so we could have used it in the winter time. Having the gym outdoor limited its use to the warmer months.

Everything was great. The room was spacious, very quiet, very clean. The staff was absolutely nice. The entire masseria is so well taken care of, the Christmas decorations were tasteful and gave the whole place a nice touch.

Just a suggestion - breakfast could be more diverse

Rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Aspettative maggiori sulla camera / mini appartamento. Qualità / prezzo anche in relazione alla cena. Buona ma da non giustificare il costo di un piatto.

Jardí d'oliveres molt ben cuidat. Habitació molt gran i molt ben decorada, espais comuns molt agradables Per amants de la tranquil·litat, la natura i el bon gust.

Miejsce dla ceniących quiet luxury. Apartamenty urządzone w minimalistycznej estetyce nawiązującej do tradycyjnego domostwa Apulii. Piękne wnętrza, doskonała kuchnia (lokalne produkty najwyższej jakości), uspokajająca muzyka we wspólnych przestrzeniach, elegancki ogród i otoczenie basenu. Dla lubiących samodzielnie przygotowywać posiłki - dobrze wyposażona kuchnia z zadaszoną przestrzenią do wypoczynku i spożywania posiłków.

W mieszkaniu brakowało szafy.
