The sunbed situation was dreadful. People queuing and scrambling to get beds was unbelievable

I liked the location as your very close to the main road and restaurants, the apartment was on ground floor near the swimming pool and there was no loud music from the local bars nearby, there is a small convenience store a few minutes walk away from the apartments, the apartment had air conditioning, a bathroom and a good powered shower a decent sized flat screen TV in the main living area with the usual British mainstream TV channels BBC, ITV, channel 4 and 5, there was a foldable sofa bed in the main living area and a fridge freezer and a microwave and kettle in the kitchenette with utensils in the draws plates cups knives and forks etc and the bedroom had 2 single beds pushed together and a wardrobe with drawers and a full sized mirror and a safe which is free to use.

The decor of the interior seemed dated and some of the interior doors had peeling panels and I have seen other people mention this on social media but other than that it was very clean place.

Location is perfect, very central. No hills . Complex kept very clean, garden area immaculate and lots of apartments getting painted while we were there. Hyperdino downstairs beside the pool very convenient. Pool not too deep and lots of floaties allowed.

Can hear noise from the street or other people in the complex if you are a light sleeper. Usual sunbed situation but will get them once you are there just before they unchain them.

The location is great if you want to avoid having to get taxis everywhere. Very central and only 5 min walk to the beach

The apartments were basic but fine for what we were expecting. A little dated and the air-conditioning unit could have been cleaned. The sunbed/parasol race each morning wasn't ideal or what we had planned for with this holiday. Not sure there is any need for it as there were always enough beds in the end. The additional parasol added 2 days ago only helped as there were very few before that.

Loved the convenient location. Near restaurants and shops. Close to promenade and beaches. Pleasant staff. Cleaned every second day

A certain few people hogged the sun loungers around the pool every day. Would have preferred ground floor apt.

Nothing, we were never given the opportunity to stay at the property we had booked and paid for.

BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING! We arrived after travelling with my two children, only to be told that we had been moved to a completely different sister hotel miles away. We received no warning whatsoever, despite the hotel having all our contact details. I had specifically booked this property because of its location, so being sent elsewhere completely disrupted our plans and ruined the beginning of our holiday. There was no manager available to speak to and no proper support or acceptable solution offered. Guests should not be allowed to book and pay for one property, travel all the way there, and then be sent somewhere entirely different without notice or agreement. An appalling experience and completely unacceptable treatment of a parent travelling alone with two children.

Frequent visitor to Lanzarote but first time in Playa Club. I have mixed feelings on it! Loved the location, right on the strip, no hills. Rooms were lovely and big well laid out. Nice comfortable beds, good wardrobe space, free safe in the room (just pick up lock/key from reception) - lovely air con. It is only in the main living area, no unit in the bedroom but if you keep the bedroom door open at night the air con does flow through. Staff were all lovely, efficient check in. Pool is a good size and the general pool area and facilities are quite good.

Biggest down side to Playa Club is the sun bed wars!! I know you get it most places now but here it seemed particularly bad. You are advised on check in that 9.30 is the earliest to reserve beds but some mornings it was before 9 when they were released, other mornings it was after 10. Basically if you weren't down there waiting for them to be unchained then you weren't getting one.. meaning you could be sitting there for an hour + waiting. It was ok for people who were pool side, they could see it as it was happening but for us at the back of the property it was hard. Only other down side is that they don't have showering facilities for people who have to check out but have later flights. They sometimes offer a courtesy room if one if available but at peak season they are always sold out. They also offered a late check out for 2pm (normal check out is 12.00) but you have to pay €40 to avail of those two extra hours in your room - very steep!!

Location is great. It's always clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious.

Reception staff could be a bit nicer and more attentive to what you are saying or even asking. I felt completely dismissed by request I had. I'll be there again in December so hopefully it will improve.!

Het appartement werd niet om de dag schoonmaakt zoals gezegd. Meer dan de helft van de tijd hadden we geen WiFi. Er waren veel Engelse die de bedjes bij het zwembad bezet hielden en er echt een zooitje van maakten. Dit werd niet echt goed schoongehouden door het personeel.

Location excellent, just off the main strip. Close proximity to many shops, restaurants etc. Apartment basic but functional, quite spacious. No oven but didn't bother us. Staff courteous, polite and helpful. Apartment was cleaned and towels replaced every second day.

Pool area, not enough sun loungers, Many people left without. Had to be there about 9 30 am to secure a lounger, had to lift them from a stack and bring them to a spot, not easy for those with small children or reduced mobility. One lifeguard extremely cross and strict, only worked one day of our stay, no issue on any other day. Pool area very wet and slippery during the day, also became quite dirty, no cleaning during the day. Also, very few umbrellas, some people bought their own while others did without. Strange smell in the bathroom of the apartment, otherwise it was clean. A bit dated, one of the towel rails got broken during our stay.

Sunlongers being kept from the day before was a huge problem. Pool area not as clean as it used to be. House keeping also not ad good as it used to be on previous stays.

Close to airport, beach and plenty of places to eat! Staff lovely and very clean. Supermarket on site which was super handy!

Perhaps could be a little more strict on the sunbed reservations!

Our apartment was quite far back in the facility which we asked be be moved but wasn't possible , even tho we had emailed ahead asking

Ive stayed in Playa Club several times, the location couldnt be better for me, round corner from main road, taxi rank, bus stop and supermarket. Reception manned 24 hours. I requested room near reception and thats what I got, so was happy. I found beds very comfortable.

I couldnt figure out how to work the new safe (now included in room price btw), but a quick visit to reception and I was advised how to operate.

We were in a ground floor apartment over looking a beautifully maintained garden. It was a quiet space which allowed us to relax & enjoy the sun. The swimming pool was very close by if you needed a swim. The apartment though basic had everything we needed, spotless, comfortable beds, clean linen & towels. The staff at reception and the housekeeper were efficient and pleasant.

Room Safe not working for 2 days. Staff kept telling us how to operate it, eventually when security arrived we were given a new safe Obviously it never worked same as the phone line from the apartment to reception. It did not work and was not sorted as promised. In our opinion the shower head has rust on it. Because of mobility issues prior to arrival we had requested an apartment convenient to the exit .It was not available even with an upgrade.

Apartment was a really good size, had everything you need for a good self-catering holiday, well equipped kitchen. Nice powerful shower, bed was comfortable. My only criticism would be the pillows, way to thin and soft!

Location is perfect, right beside main strip but not noisy at all. Room was lovely and the room cleaner Bepe, a lovely lady, was very helpful in getting our cooker working for us. Pool was lovely, this and the surrounding area was cleaned every morning. Food and drinks choices at pool and in front of reception was nice as well.

People leave towels on sunbeds for hours without using them. I think a system whereby towels are collected off beds and left to the side after a certain amount of time would be a good way to manage this.

Great Location, one minute walk to seafront, no hills. Quiet even though it's surrounded by restaurants and music bars. Good poolside snacks and bar. Staff did reply promptly and positively to the little problems we had.

It was clean when we arrived, apartment didn't get thorough clean until we asked for bathroom floor and toilet to be washed and cleaned. Unfortunately we had to ask on two occasions during our ten days.

Great location, no hills or steps to climb,suited the buggy and my elderly father quite well. Pool was warm, and power hosed every morning.

No umbrellas by the pool. We had a small child with us and cpuld have done with the cover.
