The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, and great breakfast! There is a lovely atmosphere in the hotel.

Room was as expected but had slight issue with hot water and bath tub. I contacted them after returning home and they responded straight away to look into the problem so I was more than happy with their care and service. The view was actually stunning from my room. The whole building complex had past glory and that atmosphere was really lovely to me. I didn't reserve breakfast as it was continental only but I was able to pay and have breakfast in the morning as it looked good to me. The room had 'key' with a large key ring that was reminiscent of the past glory as well. I liked the fact that I didn't need 'room key' card to switch on the room light. The room had a TV and kettle with tea and coffee set. More than enough for a one night stay.

Generally carpet was not my preference but it was clean enough. Bathroom can be upgraded perhaps in the future but it was just fine!

The weather was nice.

Staff was very un friendly, customer service was non existent. The restaurant was a Kebab van outside. The rooms, were dusty, and smelled, obviously the rooms have not been cleaned for a while. I actually left after 10 minutes and found other accommodation 1.5 miles away.

Dirty rooms, worn out carpet, dirty windows, stains on the walls carpets. TV Ariel loose over carpet. Old furniture. Car park unkept. Looking shabby from its glory days 20 years ago. They told me no food as they had a kitchen fire. Burger van in car park opens about 4pm. Err no! Burger van been there so long plants taken root on van! If you have to stay here....bring food./ snacks. Is what it is ....very very cheap for a reason. Think id prefer to spend another few pounds to find something else tbh. Shame. Used to be a real pulling in hotel early 2000s

Free Wi-fi, and the bed sheets appeared clean.

Everything. Close the place down, give it a thorough clean and restructure. Offer a cooked breakfast, update your photos, think about fire safety, get rid of the grotesque kebab van. Or just sell it to someone who cares.

It was conveniently located

The room wasn’t clean (there was a curly hair in one of the towels) and it was in need of a seriously long overdue refresh. I also left with several bites i didn’t have when i arrived.

Was not sure if it included a cooked breakfast, but the continental was fine. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in

The noise from the floor above sounded like they were weight lifting. Was not sure if they served evening meals, but there were a few options local to the area. It looked a bit run down, but once they have tidied things up and a lick of paint.

The rooms just need a general good deep clean. The bedding and towels were absolutely faultless, the room just needs a good vacuum and wipe down in general.

The location is near the farm, if you want to have a farm experience, it’s a good choice.

The toilet is not good, and the bathroom is not clean.The breakfast is too simple, you just have bread and juice to eat.

The pictures in the advert looked great, but in reality it was a dirty run down dive.

It was filthy. The curtains and bedding were dirty, there were cobwebs and spiders in every corner, the bathroom floor was under apt and I mopped, there was mould and limescale all over the bathroom. I can understand a venue having scuff makes and slight rust, but being dirty is unacceptable. The shower gel was empty, there was no plug to have a bath and there was a pile of unsightly rotting wood and furniture outside the bathroom window.

First, I made a polite request for a decent size room and pointed out that I have claustrophobia. I got an email back saying, you booked a single room, and if you are bothered about your claustrophobia we have a gar⁹den that you can use. I was reminded that i can cancel but my reservation is non refundable. I was buffled by this response. I wish i had read reviews before booking. Pictures on here are not a true reflection of this delapidated hotel, not only that, hotel is covered with filth, dust and cobwebs. When i pointed it out, staff told me its not their problem, they are short staffed, its only 2 of them to cover everything, therefore rooms will not be cleaned daily. I argued that my room was already dirty when i came in, i hadnt bothered complaining the previous night cause i had been travelling and too tired in the evening, hoping room would be cleaned in the morning. Not only that, tv just blew up and i was worried. I escalated to bookings.com and up till now my issue was unresolved. I am considering stopping using this platform now. Tge service is detoriorated in years. What a dissappointment. Breakfast is just an apple or banana, a choice of 30ml tub of infant yoghurt, box of cereal, coffee machine that will dispence small amount of watery liquid into your cup while the rest floods the table from the back of the machine. What a horrible experience.

I rang the hotel before booking and asked if they had a restaurant, they answered yes. On arrival asked to make a reservation in the restaurant and was told that the kitchen caught fire and its being repaired (three years ago), I was then told that the burger van in the car park was the alternative option. No means of hanging clothes up, so I used the ironing board leg. The dust in the corner of the bedroom. Stains on the sink. Toilet roll holder covered in dust. The safety window chains broken, my bedroom was excisable via a flat roof, slept with windows closed. Breakfast - The gentleman serving was wearing his coat Brought out a few slices of bread at a time, 7 people waiting for bread to toast No knifes, plates and butter Kept asking for the items, but made to feel I was asking for something that was beyond what I had paid for

The whole place was run down. Weeds overgrown in the car park with big pot holes awaits on arrival. Building has clearly seen better days to a point where it doesn't feel safe or welcoming. Breakfast was extremely limited. A bowl of cereal and toast on white or brown bread. All that was on offer.

Everything - the reception door looks tatty, lock falling off. Bedroom, floor looked filthy, not hoovered, wifi was poor - didn't get it unless in bathroom then it was minimal. Ants on the tea coffee tray. TV kept glitching. Bed was a double divan base with 2 single mattresses - one side was higher than the other. The windows need a good clean, sills and edges. Bathroom - well that was horrendous, flooring needs replacing, toilet has seen better days, shower dribbled out, shower curtain full of mold, shower curtain pole was full of rust... could go on.

We booked 3 deluxe king rooms and requested them to be near each other which we got told was fine. When we arrived we got told we were all separated in different buildings so as we were with children and couldn’t be separated we had to downgrade 2 of our rooms to be told to king rooms. When we looked at our rooms they were barely double so when I went and told reception they were too small I was told they had already given our original rooms away and they couldn’t refund us the difference after I had paid for deluxe king and were now in a very small double. I wouldn’t have minded if they had told us months prior that our rooms could not be together but they said they would be. It advertised that there was food in the evening but the kitchen was shut and the bar was shut. Luckily there is a supermarket next door for us to get food. The breakfast was ok as we knew it would be continental. The hotel felt run down (not like the pretty pictures)

The room decor very poor, small tv that did not work, cable running across the room had tom step over. bathroom and decor dated. Hotel shabby and unkept Burger waggon outside at night operating, minimal staff presence.

Absolutely disgusting. The cold water would not turn on. There was no plug in the bath tub. Could not get the shower to work, due to this I was not able to have my basic standard of hygiene. The kettle was caked in limescale and the water inside was milky and slimey, obviously not cleaned in a while before my arrival. There were cobwebs and spiders in a few of the corners. The carpet was filthy, would not put my feet on the floor without my slippers on/my feet covered. The chair and bed are full of stains. The mattress for the bed had definitely seen better days, as all the springs were popping out. Definitely not what we paid for. The few photos that are shown on Google images for the hotel, ARE NOTHING LIKE THE ROOM I HAD. Had to book into another hotel just so I could have a shower, after 3 nights out of 12. I just asked for them to refund the 9 days that I wasn't going to stay. Was told no refund policy. Now I can see why they have a No Refund policy. They would be out of business if they had to refund every time a person left part way through their booking.

I have to ask to move rooms as it obviously hadnt been cleaned, blood stains down the sink, spilt coffee on the sides, Cobwebs and tick dust around the carpet edges. There was even a milk sachet stuck to the wall. The second room was cleaner, still needed a good hoovering around the edges and the sink hole clearing from hair.

Er was niet wat wel beviel Armoedig en vies. Zeer mager ontbijt. Toast en jam. Een paar bakjes yoghurt, te weinig voor t aantal personen Was erg warm en was geen koeling voor de yoghurt of boter. Gevolg dat boter totaal gesmolten was en de weinige yogurtjes warm waren.

It needed a bit of a revamp and cleaning properly grounds needed tidying up and rooms needed a lick of paint cleaning and dusting. Bathroom had mould and limescale and our sink was leaking.

The photos used are well out of date, the place is generally neglected, cleanliness is poor, public areas show more than fair wear and tear, paint is peeling, wallpaper is peeling; decor is 1980s at latest. I should have been warned by the lady who'd only just booked in walking out.

It was very run down. I had dirty laundry left in my room. When I returned to my room there was a key left in my door from the cleaner. Anyone could have come into my room.

Room was absolutely filthy . Was not hoovered, dead spiders and dust on every surface.. . Stains all over the carpet, curtains were broke. TV remote had dead batteries.

We booked this hotel for a overnight stop Omg this is so disappointing the hotel is nothing like the pics. Reception was dark and dingy, the man on the desk told us our room was outside past the next block. We later asked about a bar or restaurant he said they were both being refitted, looking around this place has not used bar or restaurant for ages. We had breakfast include what’s was basically toast, fruit, packed croissant. We did not have this as it didn’t look good.

The front garden area was nice in the evening to relax as it was too hot in the room. Staff were helpful when I had no water in my room.

Found out the night before we arrived that there was no food available. Had originally booked it as B&B, but told only continental breakfast available. No in room info as to timings. Husband went down for breakfast just after 9:00 to be told it finished at 9:00. Given bread to make toast but the butter offered was off. Cereal available but no milk...absolute shambles. Of the 50 rooms available we were aware of one other couple during our stay. We had two rooms booked and to our disappointment, our son's room was a long way from ours in another section of the complex. Very odd and surreal experience, you could see that it had been grand at one time but now; dirty, unloved, smelly, minimal refreshments tray in room with two odd cups and no saucers, half empty kettle. Dirty sheets and very grey and rough'white' towels. To top it off the view from the outside was marred by the burger van on the drive! We should have been given the opportunity to cancel when the services booked became unavailable.

It was close to the M4. The girl on reception was very friendly and welcoming.

Everything felt tired and ok but not as clean as It could be . No hand soap by sink ..just individual mini shower soap bottle x3 Breakfast was cheap & cheerful but served in what was once a beautiful conservatory ..but now just a few big plants almost dead from lack of water . Felt that attendant just opened up for breakfast (orange juice, small cereal box,tiny yoghurt , toast. Both tea and coffee so weak there was no flavour , cutlery badly water stained ) cleared up and locked room again in very perfunctory way. Such a shame …no smiles or even greeting ..bored, down at heel vibes..such a shame ..with a bit of investment and enthusiasm & Passion this place could be great again ..it has some well appointed rooms, and good parking ..great location , lots of potential for family & working travellers, conferences or weddings ..but sadly lacking care…just scraping by ..with skeleton staff….not good not dreadful but not first choice ..it is cheap though and Sheets were crisp and clean so feel someone is trying …I hope they Succeed! Two double rooms only one bedside light working in each , 3rd “Superdouble “ turned out to be 2 shingle mattresses …one HARD one SOFT zipped together…no good for small plus size man to sleep on ! Don’t go unless you need cheap and your expectations are Low

When booked the premises appeared to be a going concern with abundance of ammenities. Zero available. We had booked two rooms they were located at opposite ends of the hotel in different buildings. Building was like a ghost town on walking round it was obvious that in its day this hotel must have been sumptuous and grand. Saddely no longer true.

I liked nothing about this 'hotel' and felt utterly misled by its appearance on the Booking.com website.

The place is neglected and needs a complete refurbishment if it is to call itself a hotel. Broken tarmac, flaking paint, rusting fittings, warped bathroom panels, dirty windows, poor quality cheap furniture, rattling doors and debris hanging out of the gutters. It may once have been good but it's clear that whoever owns this property now doesn't care about it. Breakfast best summarised by saying that the central offering is small boxes of coco pops and Frosties. Having a big white burger and kebab van offering various 'meal deals' between the main building and the 'accommodation block' really captures the vibe nicely.

The bedroom was cleanish, we've stayed in worse, bed was comfy all the furniture seemed new ,walls was clean.bathroom was a bit manky and outdated.

The breakfast is a very basic continental breakfast. Cheap coffee from a multi dispense machine. But no other choices. Dirty Plates and cups left on tables at breakfast. Little bin where you put your rubbish from the cereals was allover the floor no one cared about clearing it all away. Was scruffy. The whole place looks unkept and needs a good scrub. The photos in your advert don't portray what it looks like now.

The place is generally run down. Room needed a deep clean with numerous cobwebs present. The plumbing is ancient with the showers taking over five minutes to warm up, the cistern took ages to refill, and toilets and sinks tools time to empty. Only breakfast available was a continental one which we didn’t try. There was no evening food available except from a burger van parked on site. There was little evidence of any staff on site.

Contact with the staff was rude, both through messages as in person. The restaurant that is, and I quote from the listing, "open for afternoon tea, lunch and dinner" is nonexistent. The bath was covered in black dust and the carpet hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. The kettle was really dirty, so I had to clean that first. Breakfast was minimal, basically just toast and ice cold croissants. The room where it was served (the so called restaurants they so proudly advertise) was piping hot so I took my breakfast outside where the outdoor furniture, a wooden bench and a chair, was so rotten I was scared it would give in as soon as I sat on it. I don't know where all those lovely pictures in the listing came from, but I never saw anything quite like it.

Where do I start , went to reception the skirting boards where covered in dust to start with , got key went to room , the lock was spinning around like it was possessed by the devil. Went in to the room the bed was at a angle if I slept in it I would of had blood rush to my head , The rest of the room was just so dirty . I went to reception and left . This has to be the worst hotel I’ve stepped in , lucky I didn’t stay long.

The property was extremely run down and hasn't been maintained. It's absolutely nothing like the pictures online and literally falling apart! On arrival I was greeted by kebab van directly next to the entrance. There was no member of staff on reception and the car park was covered in pot holes. The breakfast was extremely poor.

I just stop over for the night for work and it has all the requirements that I need. It is only 5 minutes from the business park I work om and by far the cheapest and to me it is no different than a travel lodge etc, Have stayed a number of times now.

The room was super dirty. Cleanliness in the washroom 0/10. Toilet wasn’t cleaned properly. (Super moldy black inside the commode) Bath tub looks like it wasn’t clean in months same as the toilet. I think people stay there because it is easy to access to their work. If the rooms are clean and well maintained people will come more often. Have to mention about the breakfast. They advertised about the breakfast but when you go in the morning it is the greatest disappointed ever. 10-15 slices of bread in plastic boxes. A toaster covered in breadcrumbs. 3 or 4 jars of juice including water. A milk jar for cornflakes. Few yoghurts on the side. First morning I went in and told my self what a scam. Didn’t even bother going to breakfast on the second day. Location is really convenient no complaints about it. Curtains were falling apart. I don’t think anyone from the manager have seen inside a room for a while. Checking process was so Akward they just ask your name and give the key. No information was provided. I had to ask about the breakfast times and where it is. I just have to say if the management want the guests to return there’s a lot you need to think about.
