Good sized bedroom very comfortable bed. Evening meal in the bar was generous and good quality. Breakfast next morning was again very good, a lot to choose from and all prepared very well.

Large, comfortable room. Good food and excellent service. Staff were great and very helpful. Good value for money.

Very busy with coach parties, which resulted in the restaurant being crowded and noisy.

The family room is big enough with air conditioning.

Large rip in duvet cover, only 2 coffee capsules for 3 people in a Deluxe family room. A terribly uncomfortable pull out sofa bed, for my 27 year old son with a mattress that was so thin that he hardly slept all night as the bars pushed in to him. Parking was charged for which was not made very obvious on the booking. Complained in the morning to front desk, who had obviously had complaints before on the sofa beds. When we replied to a questionnaire sent from the hotel, there was just an apology but no mention of compensation which should have been offered, especially because of the bed and supposed to have been a deluxe room.I replied to the Hotel regarding this but had no reply. The previous night we had stayed at a Mariot hotel which was far better in every way.

Falsely advertising air con. It does not work in most rooms, the gym or the restaurant. The hotel gets dangerously hot the higher you go. Terrible staff and management, do not care. Gym has no air con, dangerous to work out.

Pulled the shower curtain off the rail via clips. Reported to front desk that the above happened. Result 2 fans provided which were pointless. Bathmat provided for bath/shower use. Male bar tender grim dire no conversation. Breakfast oh lord Day one no decaf tea or coffee Day two no milk No Budweiser or any lager Im staying one more night and to be honest glad I am leaving Room tired and dated bed extremely uncomfortable. Can hear other guest walking past room doors slamming The premier inn are far better Not the best Hilton. I am a Hilton Honours member will never say here again. Was not greeted to rewards status, not told the price of the room we had pre booked , rooms very tired and need a make over, the bar fridges were nearly all empty, duty managed not the best a nearly caused a fight. Will not be stopping here again

I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions in 2026 and last night I was made to feel i was a King. The restaurant was fully booked. Having asked if I could have a table I was turned away abruptly with a menus and told i could eat in the bar. Having reviewed the menu I went back to the restaurant to order my dinner, however I was greeted by the vibrant Teddie who was enthusiastic happy member of staff who ask did i have a booking, sadly I don’t i replied, Are you eating alone tonight sir, I’m eating alone tonight, not to worry site I have a big table you can eat at sir you will be very comfortable. what a completely different welcoming from members of staff. Teddie gave an exceptional service which gave the perception of being a King Thank You

Prenoto una stanza quadrupla e invece all'arrivo ho una tripla(la ragazza dello staff ha fatto di tutto per cambiarlo, ma poi non essendo più venuti nella notte per cambiarla e con le valigie ormai aperte siamo voluti rimanere lì per scelta nostra anche la sera successiva).

Had booked a nights stay when visiting my wife's cousin's birthday celebration on the following day. The package included an evening meal. On entering the room we found that the TV didn't work. This problem was solved very efficiently by the house staff. The meal was fine but what was also noticeable, as at breakfast, was how efficiently the dirty plates etc., were cleared away. The staff were very attentive.

I regularly stay here on my frequent business trips and I always come away feeling that I've had good value for money. Friendly staff who are always engaging and willing to share a joke. The restaurant host Julie always making me feel welcome with a smile and helpfulness to start the day off right. The little things make it better.

Excellent service, clean rooms and great food

A huge thank you to Isabella, Divosha, Alex, Joe, Desi, Mercy and Pascoal — every one of them was absolutely brilliant, welcoming and helpful. Even though our official check-in was in the evening, we arrived in the morning as I had a meeting to attend. The team kindly arranged a day room with a double bed for my family, which meant they could relax comfortably at the hotel while I attended my meeting. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture. The warm cookies at check-in were delicious and such a lovely welcome! 🍪 We also had the beef ramen for dinner, which was excellent. Overall, a superb experience with outstanding hospitality and customer service. The staff really made our stay special. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay again! 👏⭐️

The location of the hotel was good for our benefit. Tje breakfast was decent.

The cleanliness of this hotel was not up to a good standard considering it is Hilton. The beds were of very poor standard & uncomfortable. We had several rooms booked for family stay, none smelt nice or clean, doesn’t take a lot to spray air fresheners. There was a big giant spider & a moth in my kids room. Half of the rooms had faulty air cons. No water was provided in any of the rooms which is standard in all hotels. We had to purchase very expensive water from the hotel.

Fantastic stay as always! Staff are always happy, smiling & very engaging. Rooms are very comfortable & quiet. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when we visit our Daughter 😊

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was lovely. There is plenty of parking and a welcoming reception area with lifts to all floors. Our room, 329, was down a labyrinth of corridors, but it was well signposted. The room was cleaned to a good standard, and what made it special for us was that, as outside temperatures had reached 38 degrees, there was a fridge in the room. We were greeted at both breakfast and dinner, and with a buffet-style service, you could select from a selection of options, and I particularly liked the vegetarian chickpea curry. This really is a lovely hotel and isn't too far from either Oxford, Longleat or Stonehenge.

Fantastic stay all-round. Let's start with the reception. They can't do enough for you. Excellent customer service from reception. To the rooms... Spacious, clean, just perfect. Then it's down to the bar to meet the star of the show..... Teddie. What a complete gem. Perfectly polite, bubbly and very professional. A fantastic asset to any business, she should be the benchmark for customer service. So all in all, add the perfect breakfast and it's the best stay, I've had anywhere for a very long time.... And I travel a lot!

Welcoming staff and excellent facilities, lovely breakfast with a range of options.

Given the unprecedented weather the room was hot. We stayed in a family room (with our 2 year old) which had a window that was secured closed. Given the weather the air conditioning provided was unable to keep us cool.

Room accommodated 3 adults Plenty of choice for breakfast food fresh, hot and service good. Loved the complimentary warm cookies offered when checking in - a nice touch.

We had to wait over an hour after our check-in time of 3pm to access our room

Relaxing, well organised with no issues and the air conditioning in the room was a real bonus with the hot temperatures.

The bed was not great and made a lot of noise every time you moved in it.

Located on outskirts of town at j16 of M4 so perfect for a one night stop over for business Efficient and operational air conditioning system in room Large carpark Spacious room with all the basics provided. Coffee machine was a real bonus for an early 'pre-breakfast' start in the morning By no means luxurious but fine for a one night stay and option including dinner was good value for money for the location

Our experience may have been effected by unusual pattern of demand due to guests watching the eclipse but restaurant staff seemed poorly trained and demotivated (for example lack of knowledge and conflicting information given about what the dinner package included) and predominantly seemed to be there to cater for the needs of the 2 coach parties (ie clearing tables after self service buffet) Wait for our food was disproportionate to the number of diners present (restaurant had been full earlier due to cosch party buffet) and we had to chase up service of my husbands main course and did not receive what he ordered Only one poor sole serving at the bar leading to long queues and, by her own admission, an exhausted staff member No or at the very least poor air conditioning in public areas (although there was a lot of external seating which was nice)

Check-in was quick and easy with no queue

I specifically chose this hotel because it advertised air-conditioned rooms. Unfortunately, on arrival I discovered that the air conditioning in my room was not working and, based on what I was told, had been out of service for some time. Had I been made aware of this before my stay, I would have cancelled my booking and chosen alternative accommodation. Instead, I arrived to a room with windows that were screwed shut and no air conditioning during 28°C heat, making the room extremely uncomfortable. After I complained, I was moved to a ground-floor room. However, this room also had no working air conditioning, with the only ventilation coming from a window that opened just a few inches at the top. This fell well below the standard I would expect from Hilton, particularly given that the availability of air conditioning was a key factor in my decision to book. I am very disappointed that I was not informed of the issue in advance and feel that I did not receive the experience I paid for.

I had a phenomenal experience today! I came in after a very long and exhausting day, and Sophie absolutely turned my experience around. Her customer service, attention to detail, and genuine care brought a smile to my face when I really needed it. You simply don’t encounter this level of service very often. Sophie was exceptional, but then Kerry and Lioshka stepped in and were equally outstanding. It was clear that this entire team takes pride in what they do. I honestly don’t know where you found this team, but you have discovered some absolute gems! Each of them went above and beyond, and they are working at a level far above the standard. In fact, they have raised the standard to a whole new level. Please make sure management knows how exceptional these three are. They deserve recognition and, quite honestly, a promotion! Employees who consistently provide this kind of service are invaluable. After the day I had, I left with a smile on my face, and that says a lot. Sophie, Kerry, and Lioshka, thank you for making my visit so memorable. You were phenomenal, and I will absolutely be back!

Last minute booking. Great stay. Hilton is a you know what you are going to get Hotel. Lovely pillows, comfy bed, good breakfast. Swindon was just as good. Pillows are so good we sort out the make and purchased them for home. All the staff were incredibly lovely and should we need a hotel on route again we would gladly come back.

Great atmosphere. Despite the many travellers, it was quiet and without unnecessary noise. The food is delicious, and the breakfast is really incredibly unique and very tasty. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel

We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon and overall the hotel itself is nice. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which was definitely a positive. We booked three rooms, and they were all a good size and clean, although they are starting to look a little dated. Unfortunately, room 106 was a real disappointment. The mattress was like sleeping on a rock – extremely hard, and you could feel the springs digging into your back all night. To make matters worse, the bed base appeared to be broken. Every time you moved, it creaked loudly and felt as though it was going to fall apart, making it almost impossible to get a comfortable night's sleep. During the night the room became quite chilly, so we turned up the heating on the air conditioning unit. However, no matter how high we set the temperature, it only blew cold air, so we couldn't warm the room up. It's a real shame because the hotel itself is pleasant, the staff were excellent, and the rooms were a good size. However, the extremely uncomfortable bed, the broken bed base, and the heating that only blew cold air in room 106 really put a downer on what could have been a much more enjoyable stay.

I spend much of my life in swindon and usually use the Leonardo mainly due to cost, however this evening it was sold out and they didn't care I was a frequent flyer, another hotel informed they had double booked only upon check in. My night was getting a bit drastic. However the Hilton had a room and although more than I normally pay it wasn't unreasonable, I also had little choice. Moving on, the staff working here have made me now exclusively a customer of this hotel, what absolute lovely genuine people I've found here, I met Marko and Calvin and what a gift to be able to sit and conversate with two gents that were willing and able to discuss life and politics at this hour with such grace and experience. I've truly been treated to a wonderful, thought inspiring conversation with these guys and to say they are an asset to the hotel would be an understatement, simply put, I won't ever book anywhere else again. The room is also nice but the level of quality with these staff members can change loyalty to one brand with ease, and that was done tonight. I look forward to future visits here and will bring my family, highly recommended to anyone considering staying in the area, 10/10 and worth every penny of the extra compared to other local hotels

This was part of a coach tour of the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace which included 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast at Double Tree by Hilton in Swindon. Our room was fine, well-equipped and comfortable. The bathroom had good quality toiletries, lovely soft towels and a great shower. Meal service was rather varied: food was always piping hot and plentiful but some menu items, vegetables in particular, were so undercooked they were almost raw, though hot which puzzled us. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful: one of the staff at the front (greeters) who was exceptionally approachable and friendly, Alex, stood out as a fine example of what we would hope for in restaurant staff.

The room, although it faced the front, for a Hilton, was small, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, and there was a chandelier on the ceiling. A special compliment to Francyla, Lioshka, Vinosha and Stefanie, who very kindly served us dinner very late, after the restaurant had closed and always with a big smile. Thank you.

Always stay at this hotel, much better than most for frequent visits for service and food. Tonight the penne anrrabiata was very very basic for £16 but the apple gyoza was very nice. Alex’s service is always top notch and attentive in the restaurant - payrise for Alex, which you can afford because I know how busy this hotel is every week. Yasmin and Teddie also good.

Very slow checking in due to issues with the IT system. The menu in the restaurant is limited, the quality of food was poor. Room was very dark with poor lighting.

Stayed here for one night and I’m glad it wasn’t longer. The reception and bar area looks nice and modern where we received a friendly welcome. However, the actual room was a big let down. We had a queen room which was very tired and in need of a refurb. Although clean, it wasn’t great. Air con blew a little bit of air, but not cold at all. Bed was uncomfortable and so noisy that each time I turned over in my sleep I woke with the noise. The tv is very old (had the same about 18 years ago). We did tell the staff, but they didn’t seem overly bothered.

Restaurant is good and it's convenient to ha e Greggs right outside and Starbucks within the hotel. Suzie was nice and gave me a cookie during my stay!
