حافلات الفندق التي تنقل الحرم تقف في نفس حافلات كل الفنادق عند الرجوع وهذا شيء صعب جدا بعد إرهاق الصلاة والعباده معاناه معاناه حرفيا للرجوع مع الباص

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026موقعه قريب من الحرم نسبيا الفندق حجزت فيه غرفه ما كانت دورات مياها نظيفه ومكيفها وسط طلبت تبديل غرف. وسلمونا غرفه نفسها بس نظيفه ورائحتها جميله ومكيفها ممتاز شكرا لهم متعاونين
الغرفه الاولى المفروظ ما يسلمو النزيل غرفه الا مشيكين عليها وعلى نظافتها وريحتها. الفندق فيه محل بخور را ئحته ماثره على رائحة الفندق.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026From the moment we arrived at Makarem Umm Al-Qura, the service was exceptionally warm and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and provided the peaceful atmosphere needed to rest after performing Umrah. A special mention goes to the shuttle service to the Haram—it runs frequently and makes commuting back and forth incredibly smooth and stress-free. The breakfast spread was excellent with plenty of variety, and the overall hospitality of the staff truly made our pilgrimage experience special. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Makkah and would happily stay here again InshAllah.

I have been going there many times since 2013 but unfortunately no improvement over the previous few years , very old bathrooms with a lot of cracks and stains especially the toilet . No door for the shower , the whole bathroom becomes wet on showering. They are now using refillable bottles for shampoo and shower gel , & both of them were empty. I was alone but they gave me a room with 3 beds which felt very tight and narrow. I didn’t make an issue because it was one night stay but it is really disappointing that the previous feedbacks hadn’t made any difference. It used to be my favorite hotel in Mekkah but it’s not anymore.

Shuttle service is not good. Timings are not clear, I was in standing bus for almost 40 minutes. Not recommended when you are with children and specially elderly people. On way back you cannot get this bus but there are other free busses that you can use, which will drop you on other side of road- so you have to cross two roads with heavy traffic. Bus drops you at bus stop and then almost 10 mints walk to reach to Haram- which is quite a big thing in summer. On way back I have to take taxi, once got the bus after struggling for 20 mints in extreme heat - which is not an option with kids and elderly people. Never come on bus stop 15 mints before and after prayer time. Bus start after 15 mints prayer and too many people waiting there, specially after Isha prayer minimum after 1 hour you can get the bus, off-course after suffering from extreme heat and suffocation. Bottom line- never take hotel with shuttle if you want to enjoy your prayers- specially in summer.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026This is not my first time staying here; it has been my preferred choice for accommodation in Makkah for years. I really liked the recent improvements, especially the renovated rooms and the availability of room service with meals delivered directly to the rooms. As always, the staff were excellent, friendly, and welcoming.
The shuttle bus used to be one of the hotel’s strongest advantages, but it has now become a major drawback. I took the shuttle bus to the Haram, and on my way back, I was informed at the bus stop that the shuttle’s pickup location had been changed to a different parking area, which was not the same place where passengers were dropped off. I confirmed that this change had been made without any prior notification from the hotel or the shuttle bus drivers. As a guest, you may end up having to give up on this free transportation service and take a taxi from outside the hotel instead. This can result in paying excessively high fares, especially during peak hours after prayers, when returning to the hotel.

1. STC SIM coverage is pathetic inside room. Also WiFi signal Is weak(faced challenges to communicate) 2. I had to throw away plenty of food item just because hotel management denied to provide service to get it hot using microwave oven / any other facility.

I really love the oud fragrance that you get to smell as soon as you enter the hotel. Free parking facility is cherry on top. Thanks Makarem Umm Al Qura for your exceptional service at the competitive price.
Just a suggestion.. I know its already mentioned that the waiting time for free shuttle is around 30-35 minutes but if you could make the waiting time a bit less then that would be really great.
