We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Makkah for 11 nights from 4–15 August in a Quadruple Room, and overall it was an excellent experience. Although the hotel is rated 4-star, I honestly feel it deserves 5 stars, especially for its food, service and housekeeping. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with 2 double beds and 2 single beds, which was perfect for our family. The mattresses were excellent, the bathroom was spacious, and there was plenty of cupboard space for our belongings. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a great variety of continental and hot food options, along with fresh fruits. Everything was fresh and well presented. A special mention to the housekeeping team, particularly the Bengali staff, who were exceptional, polite and hardworking. Their attention to detail and friendly service really stood out. Kudos to the whole team! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book Courtyard by Marriott Makkah again. Thank you very much to the entire Courtyard by Marriott team for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable!

The only slight downside is that the hotel is around 1–1.5 km from Masjid al-Haram. However, the shuttle service to the area behind the Clock Tower is very convenient and generally available outside prayer times.

الاقامه كانت قويه على فندث 4 نجوم كل شي كان قوي ويستاهل من المرافق و الاستقبال يستاهل فندق مقابل السعر , الباصات عندهم باص صغير وباص مشترك مع الفنادق والباصات عملي وتكيفها بارد والتنظيم ممتاز ومبدع , الفطور كان اكثرمن كونه قطور 4 نجوم فالجوده في الطعام كانت نظييييفه و طازجه ويستاهل ان تفطر

لا يوجد شي لم يجبني فقط , نقاط تطوير وهو مجرى الحمام يكون يسحب الماء بشكل افضل وتدفق وبرود التكيف تكون اكثر بروده وابضا الاناره الغرفه كانت نوعا ما خافته وخصوصا اذا كنت في اجتماع او للتصوير فقط وارا هذ محسناات شخصيه لا اراها عيوب للفندق او للغرفه

Courtyard by Marriott is located in an easy location from Masjid Al Haram and has a shuttle service every 40 minutes. They also have parking facilities (paid) within the hotel which is very convenient for pilgrims who drive to Makkah. Easy to take taxis from this location. The breakfast spread was decent and they served a good karak tea as well.

We got a quad room at 19th floor. Although it’s a good clean room, the size of the room is small compared to other properties I have stayed in Makkah.

The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. Reception also rarely answer the phone when you try to contact them. Whenever I asked for basic amenities, the response was always that they didn’t have them. I asked for face wash and was told they didn’t have any. I then asked for lotion and got the same response. However, after I complained, they suddenly managed to provide the lotion. The same thing happened when I was leaving. I asked for some tape to pack my luggage and was initially told they didn’t have any. Then, a staff member simply pulled a roll of tape out of his trolley. Overall, it felt like the issue wasn’t that they didn’t have these things, but that the staff simply didn’t want to help. This made the whole experience very frustrating and disappointing.

Everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the overall service was very good. I would especially like to mention "Mr. Jakir" from the cleaning team, who was a genuinely kind and helpful person and always did a great job.

The only thing I found a little difficult was the bus service timing. The timings can be quite different, so it was difficult to catch the bus within our schedule, and during our stay we unfortunately didn't get a chance to use it even once. We used taxis to go to Masjid al-Haram and return to the hotel instead. which added an extra cost to our visit. There is also a small hotel van outside the hotel which leaves once its seats are filled, and this is a good alternative. Otherwise, I would recommend checking the bus timings carefully before planning your trip.

It was close to haram and convenient grocery stores, transport was on time and consistent. Staff were friendly and some nice food & hot/cold beverages were available 🤗👍

I initially asked for early check-in and was rejected🤔 hence I had to book for a prior day and paid for two nights.🥲🤔 Nevertheless, when I reached to reception I was shoked being asked to evacuate at 12 and recheck in at4pm although paid for a full prior night/2 nights..it took me sometime to convince him and luckily was admitted to my earlier paid room😅. The gentleman became friendly after little harshness. It was very acceptable stay though the incident. My recommendation to management is to train staff to all normal and up normal reservation and make sure to teach them how to tackle any issues timeless and without need for unnecessary explanation to avoid to clients and families visiting the holy lands. الفندق ممتاز، ولكن تجربة النقل هذه المرة كانت مؤسفة هذه ليست المرة الأولى التي أقيم فيها في الفندق، وبصراحة الفندق ممتاز جدًا من جميع النواحي، ولذلك كنت أتمنى أن أضع تقييمًا بخمس نجوم بدون أي ملاحظات. لكن للأسف، كانت تجربتنا هذه المرة سيئة بسبب سائق الأتوبيس ر فتره مساءيه رقم 5000. نحن عائلة مكونة من 7 أفراد، وبيننا أطفال، وكان معنا عدد من الحقائب. عند الوصول، أصر السائق على إنزالنا في الجهة المقابلة للفندق، وقال لنا بطريقة غير لائقة: “أنا ما بنزل أحد أمام الفندق.” الأمر المثير للاستغراب أنه بعد أن عبرنا الشارع ووصلنا إلى الفندق،حضر نفس الأتوبيس بصراحة، لا أفهم ما الداعي لتعريض حياة النزلاء، وخصوصًا الأطفال، للخطر أثناء عبور الطريق، طالما أن الأتوبيس كان قادرًا على الوصول إلى أمام الفندق؟ وهو نفس اتوبيس الخاص للفندق كما أن طريقة التعامل كانت غير لائقة ولا تتناسب مع مستوى الفندق وسمعته. تم بالفعل إبلاغ المناوب في الاستقبال بالواقعة ورقم الأتوبيس. ما عدا هذه الواقعة، الفندق ممتاز جدًا من جميع النواحي، ولدينا تعلق كبير به وتجارب سابقة جيدة جدًا معه. ولكن مثل هذا التصرف العشوائي وغير المبرر، خصوصًا عندما يتعلق الأمر بسلامة الأطفال والنزلاء، يجعلنا للأسف نفكر جديًا في عدم تكرار التجربة مستقبلًا، رغم تقديرنا الكبير للفندق. أتمنى أن تتم مراجعة الواقعة واتخاذ الإجراء المناسب، لأن سلامة النزلاء وحسن التعامل معهم يجب أن تكون أولوية، خصوصًا في خدمة النقل التابعة للفندق

The room was clean and spacious and the hotel is located 5 mins away from the Haram by taxi. What I loved the most was the staff very attentive and very helpful at every occasion.

The staff were very good.

The bus service, if you fix the bus service then I this is the best hotel with great value for Money. Fix proper timings for bus, the bus driver should speak English. While coming back from haram there should be a dedicated spot for Courtyard customer.

Comfortable and clean. We were allowed to check in early morning that was a great welcome.

Room make up was not regular, despite placing makeup tag. Reception is mosley busy and takes time to attend calls.

The breakfast was very tasty and enjoyable. I especially liked the labneh, fresh bread, fried vegetables, and the delicious karak tea. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I really enjoyed the breakfast!

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious and the menu provided in the room was helpful; however, it did not mention the housekeeping extension number (5750). The parking space was not very comfortable. When we dialed “0” to reach reception, the response was a little slow. It would be better to clearly mention the housekeeping extension in the room menu, improve the parking convenience, and reduce the reception response time.

للأسف تجربة سيئة جداً وصلت الفندق الساعه 8 مساءا وانا كنت حاجز غرفتين ويوم وصلت قالولي غرفه جاهزه والثانية للأسف باقي ماجهزت لكن اطلع عشر دقايق ونرسلك المفتاح جلست تقريباً نص ساعة ولا سلموني المفتاح الا لما نزلت مره للأستقبال. ويوم دخلت الغرفه لقيت باقي فيها اكل يعني ماتنظفت زين وكلمتهم ولاحياة لمن تنادي وبعدها رحت اعتمرت ورجعت والغرفة تطبخ زي النار الكيف خربان تواصلت معهم وارسلو الفني وقال بطلع اسوي المكيف من فوق وارجعلك ولاعاد شفته وماقدرت انام للفجر من الحر ورحت صليت ورجعت وجيت ولقيت الكهرب طافي عن الفندق كامل وجلسنا تقريباً ساعتين ولافي اي اعتذار ولا شي وتواصلت معهم وردت علي موظفة ماقصرت الصراحة غيرت لنا الغرف وكأن المكيف أفضل لكن جلست للساعة 9 وانا مواصل مانمت وللأسف محد درا عنك اتمنى يكون فيه احترافية شوي في المعاملة مع النزلاء.

The room was only half carpet. The beds and bedding were clean but we're causing dust allergies The entire bathroom was getting wet when showering. A full shower door would be better than half glass

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Makkah with our family from 15th to 18th August 2026 during our Umrah trip, and we had a very pleasant and comfortable experience. The hotel has a nice and convenient location with easy access to Masjid Al-Haram. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to and from the Haram, which was very helpful and convenient, especially for families. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of choices. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Courtyard by Marriott Makkah to families visiting Makkah for Umrah. A comfortable stay with excellent service and great hospitality. Highly recommended!

not exactly dislikes but it's a suggestion the shuttle services need to be more credible in terms of timings since due to them you tend to miss the prayers the shuttle services have to be more predictable with well laid timelines clearly known to the residents

I loved the location to an extent, breakfast and cleanliness

The ac was showing that it’s on and 18 degrees but i woke up sweating! My kids in the other room didn’t sleep as well the inside room temperature was approximately 24 it was too hot for us ! Add to that no tooth brush or toothpaste and no slippers!
