The onsen was incredible, with direct view to the hell valley and lots of bath variety. The outside baths were amazing, especially when you’re able to get beer and sake on a floating tray with you. The hotel is also the closest to hell valley in Noboribetsu. The breakfast buffet was very good witu plenty of options for both Japanese and western styles. The hotel staff was also very nice and gave great recommendations.

The walk from the main building to the onsen is quite long. Feels a bit touristy but still great.

Amazing hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities are great: the great bath, game area, bars, etc. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, with yukatas. The manga room has, well, mangas! The breakfast is absolutely fantastic! Plenty of things to do outside as well! I cannot recommend enough!

Hôtel d'exception qui propose de nombreux services pour ses clients. Il y a bien sûr les très nombreux onsens (attention : genre séparé et nudité obligatoire), mais aussi des boutiques, restaurants, etc. Tout est fait pour que le client puisse se sentir dans un véritable cocon ! La chambre était spacieuse et très propre. La qualité de la nourriture proposée pour le buffet (matin et soir) excellente. À 5min à pieds depuis l'arrêt de bus Noboribetsu Onsen, et à 5min de l'attraction principale : Jigokudani Valley.

If arriving into Sapporo late at night, it is difficult to access the hotel by public transport but that is not the hotel's fault. Breakfast selection coulf use some other options but still delicious.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the hotel. The breakfast buffet was also wonderful. Plenty of different baths.

Vị trí tốt, khu vực tắm rất rộng và nhiều loại nhất mà tôi từng ở! Ăn cũng rất ngon và đầy đủ. Nhân viên thân thiện.

Tôi ở lại 2 đêm với gói fullboard nhưng vị trí phòng nhận được ở tâng thấp( tầng 3) nên phòng hơi ẩm và có mùi không thoải mái! Và tôi vẫn phải trả tiền bia( thường với những nơi Onsen khác fullboard sẽ uống bia miễn phí và thoải mái). Tuy nhiên đây chỉ là góp ý để cải thiện chứ không phải là điểm chê.

Location is fabulous - adjacent to Hell’s Valley hence the amazing onsen waters. We were vegetarian and the staff did an excellent job with a Buddhist style set meal.

It’s massive…easy to get lost in it.

The staff was responsive to our complaints about the noise caused by guests above our room. They gave us a new room to sleep for the first night. On the second night, they moved the upstairs guests to another room

Las onsen son espectaculares y únicas. El servicio muy servicial y amable. El buffet de desayuno estaba muy bien, con opciones para todos los gustos.

En nuestro cuarto había un ruido mecánico que no nos dejó dormir en toda la noche. Lo dijimos y nos cambiaron a otro cuarto (más grande). En general, paredes de papel donde se oye todo. Es normal en construcciones antiguas, pero se agradecería que se pidiera a la gente en el check un poco de miramientos, vienes a descansar y relajarte, y no quieres escuchar una estampida de pasos del niño del cuarto de arriba, ni risotadas a las 12 de la noche ni el ruido constante de la televisión. Las habitaciones olían mal, y los futones también. No era el olor característico del tatami, que nos gusta, ni de azufre de las onsen. Como que las mantas no las lavan muy a menudo más bien. La cena del buffet, a no ser que quieras hincharte a sushi del barato, no merece la pena: sushi barato y poco más - unos platos internacionales asiáticos que no están mal, pero en su mayoría con mucho frito y recalentados de un día para otro. Mejor salir a cenar a algunos de los restaurantes del pueblo. Más rico y seguramente más barato. En general, en los cuartos se nota el paso del tiempo y se nota una falta de mantenimiento. Además, queríamos ver Netflix y todas las opciones de streaming estaban capadas/desactivadas

Davvero troppo grande e dispersiva. Forse per quel prezzo speravo in qualcosa di meglio ma colpa mia che non mi sono accorta dalle foto quanto fosse grande.

Everything was great. I'm not very experienced, but I think the variety of baths was great and I especially loved outdoor baths, everything was clean, the room was comfortable, great variety of food for dinner and breakfast. It was great to be able to use unlimited amount of amenities and change towels every time going to the baths compared with smaller ryokans where you can only change towel once in a couple of days.

It would be better to have a little bit more time for dinner because I felt kind of in a hurry trying to finish everything. Another thing is that I thought that common area where men and women can bath together would be a little bit bigger, in reality there is just a tiny bath and a pool mainly for children, but that's ok. Also the staircase to get there from the men's dressing room is a bit scary (in case of father going with a little son), staircase from women's dressing room is normal. But none of that was a problem, just things to keep in mind

This is a big onsen hotel. I stayed two nights and had a great time. The main bath looks out onto Jigokudani, which is pretty cool. I had breakfast in the hotel both days, which was great. I had dinner both nights at places in the town. I hiked around the area one day. This was in the middle of a long trip in Japan so I relaxed quite a bit. I took the public bus to and from the station, which worked well. One note--there is a bus that goes directly from the hotel to Sapporo Station, which would have been convenient, but you have to arrange that the day before and I didn't know about it.

מקום מוטרף!! ההיפך הגמור ממלון בוטיק אבל ׳בקטע טוב׳. מעין בית הבראה יפני המוני וגדול שמספק חוויה אותנטית של מלון אונסן ליפנים. ארוחת ערב יפנית נ ה ד ר ת , יוצאת דופן במגוון האוכל, אונסן ציבורי ענק ומפנק (אם כי לא נראה חדש) וחדרים מעוצבים בסגנון מסורתי גדולים ונעימים מאוד! מומלץ בחום.

הצוות לא מאוד מאיר פנים ולבבי. ארוחת בוקר לא מותאמת בכלל לאורחים מערביים.

בופה מגוון ועשיר. אונסן מצויין . מיקום מעולה

החדר שקיבלנו היה עם נוף לקיר במרחק נגיעה . חנוק ובלי אוויר. החדר שהזמנו היה עם טרסה וזו התבררה כרחבה לא נעימה של חצי מטר מול הקיר.

食事がとても美味しかったです。 味付けがとても良く、焼きたての柔らかいお肉が食べれたり、濃厚な北海道メロンソフトクリームが食べられたり。スイーツも美味しくて、食べすぎてしまいました。 両親の金婚式で利用させていただきましたが、家族も、みんなおかわり何度も行ってました。 また、寿のお箸を準備してくれたり、両親の部屋には、メッセージカードを準備してくれたり、と至れり尽くせりでみんなが楽しめた旅行でした。 お部屋も、他のところでも清掃も行き届いていて、気持ち良く過ごせました。また、行きたいです。

De baden zijn bijzonder en geweldig! We verbleven met gezin in een tatami, een bijzondere ervaring.

Weinig glutenvrije opties. Baden zijn gescheiden voor mannen en vrouwen en je gaat zonder badkleding. Niet erg, wel iets om rekening mee te houden.

조식뷔페 넘 맛있어서 평소의 아침 식사보다 많은 양을 먹었어요. 숙소에서 듣는 새소리가 자연속에 있는 평화로움을 더 느낄 수 있었어요. 가장 좋았던 것은 푸른 나무와 숲을 보면서 자연속에서 온천을 할수 있는 노천탕의 경험이에요.

Very well located with a lot of activities. Rooms are spacious.

It is totally over-priced. The Japanese rooms are old, the duvet are half covered, every day we need to put back each duvet in its cover.. The morning buffet is good but close too early. The Soba restaurant food is not nice at all, surprising for Japan. The standard of the hotel did not reflect the (high) price we paid.

We had a South room, four people, and it was tight. Bathroom was small as well. Not much space for the four suitcases, futons, etc.

Nice place to stay

Grand hôtel très bien situé, à deux pas de la fameuse "Hell Valley". Lits très confortables et excellent petit-déjeuner. L'onsen est incroyable.

Hôtel évidemment très touristique. La piscine n'est pas terrible, mais évidemment on y va plutôt pour l'onsen qui est très bien (mais vraiment très très chaud). Pour une famille de 4 personnes, la chambre est vraiment exiguë.

Quelle merveille !!! Cet établissement vaut presque un séjour au Japon à lui tout seul ! Certes le prix est élevé, mais si vous en avez la possibilité n'hésitez pas, pour ma part c'est l'un de mes meilleurs souvenirs à Hokkaido : l'établissement propose une trentaine de bains ( une quinzaine côté femmes, une quinzaine côté hommes ) , chacun alimenté par des sources différentes, chargées différemment en minéraux, et disposés soit en intérieur soit en extérieur. Autant dire que l'on y passe des moments somptueux, à profiter de différentes eaux tout en admirant des jardins et les montagnes. Mon compagnon et moi n'avons pas tenté le dîner mais le petit -déjeuner buffet était très copieux et savoureux. La chambre était très propre, très confortable, avec une jolie vue sur les montagnes environnantes. Nous y aurions volontiers séjourné plus longuement et recommandons vivement cet établissement, un havre de paix et de détente.

We got the traditional room, and it was amazing - very spacious, comfortable, had everything needed. The onsen was HUGE, we spent almost 2 hours there trying different ones and it was the highlight of it. Also good location - next morning we went for a short hike and all the routes start nearby, very convenient. The hotel also has lockers in case if you only stayed for one day and want to go for a hike next morning and don't want to miss your check-out. As for the kaiseki dinner and breakfast - the amount of food was more than any sane person could handle, but unfortunately that's the only good thing I can say about it.

The place feels a bit outdated - old carpets, old cleaning facilities, you can feel it and smell it (but not too much). Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot, but the only thing we would change would be not ordering kaiseki dinner - maybe our palettes are not sophisticated enough, but we did not like many things from the menu and would rather go for the buffet option. The presentation and variety of things was great (even uni with rice!), but we mainly enjoyed sashimi platter and wagyu.

溫泉區很大，但室外溫泉感覺有些普通 或許要下雪的時候再來比較有感覺

조식은 보통 정도였습니다. 수영장이 있어서 좋았다. 수영장 미끄럼틀도 좋았다. 지옥계곡 도보권 가능해서 좋음.

직원들의 전문성 및 친절성이 부족했다. 직원들 영어도 잘 못하시고 서비스 개선 필요. 시설이 낙후되었다. 큰 기대를 하고 가지 말 것을 추천. 2박을 했는데 중간에 룸크리닝 서비스가 없었음. 원래 연박이면 시트 정도는 갈아줘야 하지 않나요.. 일박에 40정도 주고 갔는데 실망을 했습니다.

大浴場は広くて色々な温泉があって良かった点とバイキングレストランも2カ所に別れているので混雑する事なくゆっくり食事を楽しめました。

特に良くないところは無いのですが大浴場内がとにかくサウナみたいに暑くて長く居られませんでした。 換気をもっと何とかして欲しいと思いました。

お風呂は泉質が複数あり良かった。

料理はビュッフェだったがあまり美味しくなかった。飲み放題ではなく、好みのお酒を相当量を注文したが、まともに対応できるスタッフが少なかった。例えば、「お酒の注文をしたい時は手を挙げればすぐに係が来ます。」と説明を受けたが実際は来なかった。見ると係は下を見たり、一定の方を見てるだけで手の挙げているのを見ようともしていない。やっと来た係は、瓶ビールを頼んだのに生ビールが運ばれてきた。文句も言わずに仕方なく飲んだ。他の係は来ても言葉を理解できないようで「日本語の分かる人を呼んで」と言ったのも理解できていないようでフラフラとその場を離れ片付けだけをしていた。

一泊二食的餐點很讚，海鮮（螃蟹、生魚片）、牛排吃到飽。 澡堂很大，可以看到地獄谷景色。 有免費停車場。

La struttura era bellissima ed enorme, perfetta per rilassarsi e immergersi totalmente nella tradizione giapponese. La camera era pulitissima, in pieno stile giapponese e dotata di 4 futon; molto apprezzata anche la fornitura di ciabatte e kimono. Un grande valore aggiunto è stata la possibilità di accedere gratuitamente, senza ulteriori spese, agli onsen e alla piscina. La posizione era ottima: in pieno centro, con supermarket, ristoranti e negozi di souvenir vicinissimi, e a soli 5 minuti a piedi dal suggestivo percorso naturalistico della Valle dell'inferno. Ottima e tipica la colazione con una vastissimo scelta.

Nella camera con i 4 futon, il bagno è risultato molto piccolo per quattro persone e in camera non c'erano punti di appoggio per le valigie né attaccapanni, il che ha reso un po' scomodo sistemare i bagagli e i vestiti.

This is one of the nicest properties in Japan besides the branded/chain hotels. The facilities, cleanliness and quality of service. Quality of food, professional hospitality of the staff. The value of each night is less than a 5 star hotel, but it offers more than a 5 star resort. And it doesn’t charge for every amenity.

One thing that the hotel can improve is the variety of buffet dinner and breakfast. It has a great selection, but the same every night. There’s abundant of snow crab legs, fresh sashimi, deserts and more.

一到飯店就有接待人員幫忙搬行李到大廳，房間大且舒適，溫泉池很多池，戶外溫泉池很舒服（而且可以點酒和飲料），有游泳池和一個滑水道，晚餐和早餐我們都喜歡。

The best location in town, right beside the Jigokudani Valley. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Both the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet offered a wide range of delicious choices. The built-in in onsen was superb.

The choice of different pools as well as the amenities were beyond expectations. It has an older vibe to it which is fair and adds to the charm. Super clean and well-kept though.

Would be great if there was a welcome tea or beverage alongside the cookie as well as a later check-out.

Nice big modern western style room. Great mattresses, Plenty of space and nice and clean. Hotel is in a great spot at the start of the shopping/restaurant street and also the closest to the valley. Onsen is massive. The family swimming pool/slide were big and warm water for kids. Breakfast had plenty of selection including freshly baked pastries. Easy parking

Nothing really negative to say about it. It is a very large hotel so if you like small hotels for some reason it might not be suitable for you. Dinner prices were a bit on the expensive side (it did look a bit more fancy) so we went to some local places to eat.

Very small plastic modular bathroom which wasn't in keeping with the luxurious feel of the bedroom and test of hotel. Also no housekeeping on consecutive days, rooms are only cleaned on third day of your stay, stating for hygiene reasons?!! (surely having rubbish and no cleaning in the room for 3 days isn't hygienic at all!) you pay the same nightly rate you don't get the service. They do state you can request new towels etc.
