The room allocated was at the back with not much of a view. And in order to get to the parking you need to come out on the street and then go into the parking. Where as it should have had a back access point.

The room smelled as if the carpert was still wet a bit (I realised that it was not completely dry when I walked in the room barefoot.) My table area had cockroaches. TV offering was only limited to SABC and ETV, it'd be better if they had even the cheapest DSTV package. Please have proper chairs in rooms.

The charging pot was too far. They need to have a cord so you can charge white on your bed resting. I hated seating and charging.

Apart from noise on certain nights which I have to admit there is not much staff can do about it, as it is a busy night life area, especially weekends.

If you plan on getting ANY sleep, please choose any other hotel. You would expect a hotel in this location to have decent sound proofing atleast. Club below was noisy from 8pm until 4am non stop followed by loud conversations and shouting from the roadside. We booked here hoping to be close to restaurants and other places but turned out to be the WORST mistake ever.

Unfriendly staff, loudness/noise can become unbearable, and having to go out of your room to iron clothes is quite unfortunate. There are many better places in Florida than this place. If you had to ask me what facilities or amenities are available at this hotel,I wouldn't answer. I have never seen such a small tv, oh and it doesn't work.

The TVs don't have DSTV and are not smart TVs so you can only watch SABC channels and etv. The irons are sticky and need to be seriously cleaned. It also gets very loud when certain guests return from groove so be warned you will be awakened

Reviewed May 4, 2026Overall cleanliness was very good. The room was neat, tidy, and well maintained.
The parking is on the opposite side of the hotel with no direct access, no door or lift. You have to walk out, through a passage, onto Florida Road, past John Dory’s, and up the stairs to the hotel. This feels extremely unsafe at night, especially if you’re alone or carrying valuables. Anyone can observe and target you, The hotel really needs visible security to assist guests walking from the parking area. Our room faced the parking lot, and there were people drinking there all night until around 5 a.m. (some not even hotel guests) They were loud (we barely slept and we were travelling back to a different province the next morning) there people drunk fighting, moving cars, and even washing a car around 3:30–4 a.m. the Hose woke us up, and we questioned the regulations & monitoring, The gate was not always closed, which made us worry about our car we had a lot of valuables in both our cars, so we had to keep waking up to check on it.

Having to walk back to the front reception area after parking. Back entrance would make life easier. But atleast it’s a short walk.

I was placed in room closest to bar, i could not sleep before the other place was closed.. I was only able to sleep after 02:45, am so dissapointed feel like i wasted my money The curtains on the room could not fit the windows well, i was soo amazed didnt expect all of that. The bed was not comfortable, felt like an old bed.
