The remote control for opening the gate was not provided. The room I was staying in had poor sound insulation from the room next door.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Not my first there, and definitely will not be the last. I love how clean the place is, the facilities are great. I especially love the location, close enough to entertainment establishments, but still far enough to enjoy enjoy the peace and quite. Obviously safe parking is always a plus.
Had to pause and think...I really can't think of anything except maybe since they don't have any heating device in the rooms, an extra blanket should be available in case of a cold night. But Durban is almost always warm, so its not even an issue.

Mould in the room. Dstv was disconnected as it wasn't paid for. Shower was terrible. My room was left wide open for goodness knows how long the whole day, didnt feel safe afterwards. Not enough parking spaces.

Hotel doesn't have enough parking for guest, I struggle to park my car and the trailer. I didn't like the fact that we were two couple's traveling together but we were given far apart rooms. Guest supposed to have their remote control for easy access

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026The staff was friendly and always ready to assist, the rooms were clean and specious. The apartment is situated in a practical and convenient location, so many places to visit and fun.
The parking system is terrible, I had to wait for another person to be woken up to remove his car so that I could get out. A small couch or chairs would be a good addition inside the rooms. There were renovations taking place so somethings could be forgiven.

The room and balcony was not clean, the entire place needs maintenance upgrades. The worst was they have guests that party and make noice till way after 3am. Reported to reception, and nothing was done. The phone lines to reception don’t work, so you have to go up and down the stairs to complain about the noise. Staff is not friendly and has an attitude when spoken to. No manager on site to assist, and staff refuse to give out the owners details.

The gate . I phoned x10 times to get my family in while they along with x2 other guests were waiting outside trying to get in . It’s not the greatest location to be waiting on a gate at night . I would not book here again until they sort this out . Also parking was a nightmare, parking everyone in . You have to wake up other guests or be woken up if someone is wanting to leave so just expect that aswell .

Having to wait on the gate whether you are driving or walking, they should provide remotes. There are no rugs on the floor, it is cold now. The aircon only has cooling no heating option, maybe they should get that fixed.

Our room was not ready at check in time 🕰️ 14:00. Had to request kitchen utensils each time we needed them and our room was cleaned late.
