Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The lady Phumzile was such a darling. She is so calm and kind. The owner as well was so helpful. I had issues with booking.com canceling my reservation without my knowledge. Got stranded and the owner allowed me into the premises and Phumzile assisted. I will definitely book again and tell my family to book. Their kindness will stay with me forever

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026It was quite peaceful absolutely no disturbances. Room was spacious to my liking.. And the Lady who works there Phumla was an absolute darling... Very friendly.
The place has a lot of potential should it be renovated. Paint work also is needed especially the bathroom... The old rusty lights were really a put off....the shower drain was also really unpleasantly rusty and just too open for a drain. I understand the vitange concept but it could be more presentable. Another thing the guy I was communicating with... Sam I believe was very helpful before I arrived... Before check out I reached out to him for assistance regarding something and he ignored my texts and calls and never got back to me.. I guess he operates on the fact that "I'll be nice to you cause I want you to check in and once your stay is almost over I don't wanna hear anything from you" which is quite sad because I was really looking forward to booking again.

In the room that I occupied, the shower drain was not draining the water quick enough. You'll find yourself literally standing in the dirty shower water that you just showered with.

The lock couldn't close properly from the inside of my room. That freaked me out a bit because I'm not from the area. As a woman you are always cautious. That's the only issue I had.

The place had no ward-rope, mirrors in the bathroom, noise from the students next door was too much, room not regularly cleaned. what I paid verses what I got did not match at all. a backpacker would have been better. Not impressed with the place overall at all, I had to leave days before my stay cause it felt like I was on a house arrest!!!
