Provider-sourced guest reviews.
Such a charming place with beautiful courtyards, vibrant, warm decor and excellent service. It was also spotless and breakfast was delicious and very fresh.
No complaints. Great experience.
Lots of very pretty patios and common spaces. Super friendly staff. Comfortable room with a fireplace and no tv.
I would have liked a better reading lamp by the bed. I think the dolls used to decorate are creepy, even for a former bordello. This is nit picking.
Just returned from wonderful trip to Casa De La Noche, San Miguel de Allende. Highly recommend it for fun, interesting vacation. Barb and her staff are so helpful with all the local activities and they know the best spots. They do everything to insure you have the best time. There are so many things to do in the area to suit all interests. Casa De la Noche is a perfect place to stay. It is beautiful and centrally located. We are looking forward to returning with friends and family. 5 Stars.
Casa de la Noche is a gorgeous boutique hotel with friendly staff, beautiful garden patios, multiple sitting/reading/noshing areas, comfy beds, excellent location, interesting history. It was a pure delight. My first trip and I will return. My mom's 4th stay! Barb, Uz, Ricardo, and cleaning staff are all kind and helpful.
The helpfulness of the staff was amazing! Having a charming well appointed hotel like this one was a real benefit to us between adventures around the area!
Comfortable, friendly, clean, good value
nothing
I absolutely loved my stay at Casa de la Noche. From the moment I arrived, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed into a beautiful, soulful home filled with history, artistry, and warmth. Every corner of the property has personality and charm, with thoughtful details that reflect the spirit and culture of San Miguel de Allende. The atmosphere is peaceful, inspiring, and incredibly welcoming — especially for solo travelers and women travelers looking for a place that feels both safe and deeply authentic. The rooms are comfortable and unique, the shared spaces invite conversation and connection, and the rooftop views are simply magical, especially at sunset. What truly makes Casa de la Noche special, though, is the heart behind it. You can feel the love, creativity, and intention that have gone into creating a space that honors the history of the home while making guests feel genuinely cared for. It’s the kind of place that becomes part of your experience of San Miguel itself. I left feeling inspired, rested, and already hoping to return. Highly recommend for travelers looking for something far more meaningful than a standard hotel stay.
This place is everything the website shows and more. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is wonderful. My favorite part is the access to the shared kitchens. The location is great too!
So much character and charm
Breakfast was so so and reception staff was only moderately helpful and friendly. The owner was lovely!
This is a wonderful hotel, I do not have enough words of praise. I stayed here to attend a friend's wedding and was taken care of as if staying with extended family. Uz at the front desk is great and has fun stories if you have time for a chat. The breakfast is wonderful - not a lot of food but enough to get to lunch, all freshly prepared and felt like authentic at home Mexican cooking. I stayed in the Paloma Loft which is in the courtyard in on the second floor. The room is large/perfect for one person and perfect for two people, has a large wardrobe with lots of hangars if you want to put away your clothes from the suitcase, and a ton of natural light. The rooms are equipped with filtered water from the tap and they said it was drinkable; after finishing a couple of water bottles I refilled them from the tap for the remainder of my trip and had no issues (there is also a mini fridge to keep your water and snacks cool and a microwave for any take home bites). It is Mexico and you have to be strategic about dealing with mosquitos at night but the AC and overhead fan on at night is quite helpful. Finally, booking a car/shuttle from the airport was not expensive and a huge bonus and one less thing to worry about. Finally, I picked this room because it has a table with two chairs which is also nice if you want to eitehr eat or get some work done, although the hotel has a TON of common areas, tables and places to sit if you also get cabin fever.
We loved the authenticity and uniqueness of our room, complete with on-suite bath. (all rooms have a bathroom). The owner Barbara and staff were most welcoming. We interacted with many of the other guests and made some new friends. Breakfast was flavorful, with a nice daily special. Walkable to all the central zone. We highly recommend Casa de La Noche for your stay in SMA.
What a treat!! Casa De La Noche provides a peaceful, beautiful, and romantic setting in an authentically Mexican atmosphere. The various courtyards, with lovely foliage and flowers and fountains, and warmly furnished public living rooms lend a wonderfully casual extension to the guest rooms. I can't imagine staying anywhere else to better compliment the gentle, quaint and lovely city of San Miguel de Allende. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast in the courtyard was so charming.
A charming boutique hotel in central San Miguel de Allende. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful garden courtyards perfect for reading and relaxing after walking around town all day. Helpful and courteous staff. Nice breakfast.
Ambiance & friendliness. Great breakfast!
It was comforting all around. Great location, breakfast, staff and style!
The shower could use improvement.
We had a terrific seven days at Casa de La Noche and we can't wait to go back. This was our first visit to San Miguel and this hotel is perfectly located for walking to pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. Fabulous clean and spacious room, hardly any noise, terrific breakfasts every day and excellent service.
Was a delightful B&B where we stayed 8 nights. It is a cozy, well maintained lodging where you get personalized care during your stay if you should want outside input. You are greeted by a well-intentioned staff who helps you negotiate your stay by providing information and resources such a pickup to and from the airport, and breakfast every morning between 8:30-9:30 AM. It was our experience that guests come back annually because of the comfort and friendliness of the place. The place is a well-appointed setting nicely furnished and comfortable. There is an outdoor enclosed area where you can eat breakfast on pleasant days which consists of fruit, coffee, and a changing entree each day whereby you are offered a choice of entrees. The food is yummy and satisfying and a good start to the day. Every aspect of the place is clean and well maintained. Our room was large, comfortable and we even had our own private patio. The hostess, Barbara was a delight and it was clear that she enjoyed getting to know her guests and seamlessly able to direct us according to our interests. All and all, it felt like a home away from home which we were very grateful to experience for our first time in Mexico.
This hotel presents an unique experience as it is a converted bordello. It is in the "Centro" district and thus within walking or very cheap Uber ride distance from downtown attractions, Mask museum, Botanical Gardens, etc.. Rooms are very comfortable with adorable ensuite bathrooms. Hotel is filled with all manner of interesting art: sculptures, paintings, papiermâché figures, dolls, antique toys etc. Staff were all extremely helpful. Lovely breakfasts are included with nightly hotel rate and include choice of eggs cooked as you wish, as omelet or scrambled plus "Mexican" beans as well as mixed sliced fresh fruit plus fresh orange juice.
The property is beautiful and beautifully maintained. The staff are lovely…warm and friendly.
This was one of the most exceptional B&B experiences as it felt as though you were staying in someone's home. It is a compound of rooms and courtyards, with lots of communal places. There is artwork everywhere, and the atmosphere is restful. The staff are wonderful and full of good recommendations for sights to see and restaurants.
What an amazing place! Full of nooks and crannies and courtyards and outdoor sitting areas, Casa De La Noche is comfortable, close to everything and has an amazing staff of friendly and accommodating locals. The breakfast was fantastic, the room was cozy and the art on the walls was spectacular. Highly Recommend!
This charming boutique hotel checks every box for me. It is warm, welcoming, has a rich and interesting history, and you feel like a part of the fabric of the community when you stay here, especially if you are lucky enough to meet the owner during your stay. The intriguing street facade suggests something special behind the front door and once inside, the local Mexican art, crafts, furniture, and interior courtyards and interconnected spaces create a very special vibe. During our stay my friends and I especially enjoyed the breakfasts and talking with other interesting guests who were enjoying their stay as much as we were. When I return to San Miguel de Allende, I will always stay at Casa de la Noche.
The hotel could not have been more perfect! it was adorable and cozy with a lovely breakfast...great location near the square, restaurants and shopping. Our host, Barbara, was helpful with shopping and anything we wished to do...we could not have been happier with our accommodations and would definitely return!
The hospitality (particularly Anna), the beautiful grounds
I’ve traveled to 54 countries. This is a magical place — the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a decade. Peaceful, gorgeous, wonderful staff… even a fantastic breakfast. ¡Thanks to Barbara and her team!
Casa De La Noche is my new home away from home. I adored this place and everyone in it! Barbara, the Owner, is a classy lady, and so helpful. Ana, Uz, and Roberto are all fabulous. It felt like a warm home when I arrived at 2.30 am in the morning due to late flights. Barbara made sure that someone was waiting for me and took me to a lovely room. Breakfast was fantastic - thanks to the ladies in the kitchen. I will one day return to this beautiful spot!!!!!
Delightful 2nd stay stay at Casa De La Noche! My first visit was with a workshop/retreat and the Casa is perfect for that type of thing -- plenty of beautiful common spaces for activities and also for just relaxing and chatting. The bedrooms are unique, charming and very comfortable. (Having a whole-establishment water filter is fantastic because you never worry about H2O!) During this second visit - by myself - I realized how wonderful the Casa is for travelers who are on their own or maybe in a couple. The relaxed atmosphere means that you never feel awkward - it's perfectly pleasant to read or relax by oneself - or to strike up a conversation with another guest there. It's a lovely way to meet others visiting beautiful San Miguel! The staff is very friendly, attentive (without being intrusive) and helpful. And it's obvious from the decor to the management to the atmosphere that gathering and caring for people in a beautiful and creativity-inspiring space is a true calling for the hotel owner. Finally, the location is superb because it's about a 4-5 minute walk from the gorgeous plaza and cathedral at the center of town, but it's on a quiet, one-way (which makes a huge difference for traffic and noise) street. Highly recommend for all kinds of travelers.
Very small room, but fairly comfortable. Lots of stairs inside.
Great place to host an art retreat…we enjoyed our stay Hotel is in a great location to walk to many of the sights Staff were excellent
Barbara and her team made my stay excellent. Very accommodating and you can’t beat the location!
This is a magic place. The public and private spaces at this hotel are some of the most beautiful spaces we have ever seen at a small hotel. The hotel is located a a few steps from the more gentrified part of town, but it more than makes up with charm. The staff and service were fabulous. I do not believe that there is a better place to stay in San Miguel.
Friendly and funny staff, beautiful and spacious room, great shower, comfortable bed, charming spaces throughout the hotel. Everything was well maintained. Easy to walk to the center but just far enough away on a quiet street that we were able to escape the hustle & bustle and noise.
Main Hotel WiFi didn’t work in our room (they use a consumer grade mesh WiFi system that is inadequate for this purpose and likely misconfigured), but we found a separate fiber gateway in the room that seemed to be dedicated for the Smart TV and were able to connect to that for fast and reliable internet.
Un lugar apacible de ensueño en SMA
Todo me gustó pero pueden variar el desayuno. Ampliar la oferta.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa de la Noche in San Miguel de Allende. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the staff were attentive, kind, and made us feel right at home. The location is excellent—quiet and charming, yet just a short walk to the historic center, restaurants, and shops. A beautiful, comfortable place to stay in SMA. Highly recommended!
Staying at Casa de Noche felt like being a welcome guest in someone's home. Barbe is rightfully proud of the Casa and its history and is a lovely host. The rooms are clean, unique and comfortable. The courtyard is delightful. The Casa is perfectly located and an easy walk to most everything in San Miguel de Allande. Barbe also has a wealth of information on the area and can make fabulous recommendations on things to do/where to go.

Beautiful boutique property with nicely decorated indoor and outdoor spaces.
No issues.
Excellent location. Charming space. Comfortable beds and pillows. Staff was nice and accommodating.
Nothing!
Traditional architecture - Mexican breakfast
Room was on the small side
Very comfortable beds. Breakfast fresh each morning great coffee. Beautiful courtyards and sitting areas. An adventure to explore. Beautiful local art on walls. Close to all amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. 100% recommend
From the moment we arrived we were cordially greeted by Barbara. Ricardo helped us with our luggage to our beautiful "Las Nubes" room. Everything was IMPECCABLE, the room was spacious and there was lots of light coming from a big tall window, from where we could see lot's of greenery. The hotel is centrally located, and in a very quiet street. The service was great! We met Melanie, Uz, Ricardo and Aurora, all of them part of the Casa de la Noche team. They always greeted us with a smile and were on the lookout to anticipate our needs. Aurora was very helpful in guiding our tourism; from restaurants, to transportation and everything and anything else we inquired about. Her warmth and hospitality, as well as Melanie's attentiveness, made our stay enchanting.
Casa de la Noche is a beautiful and unique property with lots of interesting decorlove. The room I had was lovely. The shower worked fine. The breakfast was good with nice fresh fruit and food cooked to order. The staff was accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend it.
La calidez se la ambientación, la ubicación, el patio y la habitación son preciosas y cómodas. La conectividad a Internet funciona perfecto
This was my 2nd/3rd stay at Casa de la Noche. I started my stay as part of a group, and then returned later as a single traveler. Barbara and her front desk team are amazing to work with from the moment you check in, to the moment you check out. If you don't want to walk a long distance, they will call you a taxi. When you need a ride to the airport, they will arrange for the van. Morning breakfast is included and always delicious. The courtyard is a welcoming retreat to sit and relax after a long day of adventure. Casa de la Noche is an easy 6 minute walk into the center of town--with lots of wonderful restaurants along the way to enjoy, or just stop and get a drink. If there was a 10-star review, I would give it.
The location, the staff and the unique rooms.
A bit noisy.
My multi-day art workshop chose this wonderfully eclectic, steeped in history, centrally located and all in all exceptional boutique hotel. Plenty of communal spaces abound - like the courtyard where we enjoyed delicious breakfasts every morning or one of the many patios in the evenings admiring the views. Highly recommend!
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Quiet. Cozy couple stay. Tasty breakfast and coffee. Nice shower with hot water. Close-by overnight parking (for a fee).

Casa Del Noche was amazing. You'll feel uplifted and so comfortable. Whatever the rating system is 10 stars. It should get 20 if it's five stars it should get 10 casa de la Noche is wonderful in every way. Perfectly. located in a beautiful part of the city, easily walkable through charming, cobblestone streets, the rooms and public spaces are architecturally beautifully designed and landscaped wonderfully there is atrium in courtyards and everything is maintained meticulously. The entire place has a water filtration system so it's safe to drink and brush your teeth and etc.. The owner-Barbara is a warm beautiful person, and is an accomplished artist and it shows-she renovated and the original property and added so much more. As an architect, I can tell you she's very, very talented. You don't have to be a professional to feel how beautiful and welcoming and enjoyable it is to stay here. You'll want to just hang around. I couldn't even get to all the beautiful places on the property because you know- the town beckons- it is quaint, gorgeous, and you can't keep yourself from wandering through the town. Close to the dueling mariachi bands in the square around the fairy tale cathedral in the evenings. The staff is friendly, English speaking and will help you with your Spanish if you are so inclined. The whole place is a delight, clean safe beautiful and unique quiet rooms look out onto gorgeous courtyards, artistically landscaped flowering vines and trees and planting and artwork everywhere. It's simply visually stunning, a beautiful welcoming place to land. By all means stay here. I researched quite a few places and was also helped by AI suggesting this beautiful property. Can't wait to return. Pictures do not do it justice- be prepared for a delightful wonderful stay and by the way, breakfast in the courtyard is spectacular and because it's such a beautiful property really wonderful people are there and you might make a new friend! Highest praise, if they have openings, stay here, and modify your schedule if not. A delightful oasis of warm, beautiful, artistic calm, a leisurely quiet Mexican paradise.
As this was first visit to San Miguel de Allende (7-days), we wanted to stay some place special, and Casa de la Noche definitely was the right choice. Located in the northwest end of Centro (about a 12 minute walk to the heart of town), it's more like a hacienda with a variety of room styles. We stayed in "Kiss Me Again," with access to a kitchen and living room/dining room. Casa de la Noche has the most interesting layout, with balconies, gardens, sitting rooms, bar area, dining areas, and more. The place is simply amazing, unlike anything we have seen in almost 30 years of travel. They serve a light breakfast each morning from 8:30 - 10:00. Barbara is the owner and host who has decorated Casa de la Noche with beautiful artwork and other details, and has assembled an awesome staff. If there is anything you need, they will take good care of you. Do yourself a favor, and book Casa de la Noche. You can thank me later.
stayed four nights. Very pleased with the place. Staff were all very friendly. The owner Barbara is so kind, thoughtful and friendly, she made our stay very comfortable. This hotel provides several charming and artistic lounges and courtyards for guests to relax. The location is perfect, near the town centre, yet very quiet. Would like to stay again should we have chance to visit San Miguel in the future. Thanks.
The hotel is very lovely and our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and they helped us in every way possible with anything we needed. It's a great environment, very relaxing.
Wonderful stay. The people were helpful and welcoming. Our room was spacious. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio each morning. The location was an easy walk or taxi to any El Centro event. I will definitely stay at Casa De La Noche when I return to San Miguel De Allende.
We are thinking of moving to San Miguel, so we wanted to spend a week in a nice, local hotel, especially to get the flavor of the place. Casa De La Noche was perfect! We spent a week there, and we were very happy with the stay. The property is beautiful, the staff super helpful, and the whole experience very positive.
I loved Casa de la Noches in San Miquel de Allende. This is an arts community. Hotel is charming w excellent service, well located to Central. Staff very helpful making reservations And making recommendations. I will be back. Priced fairly too.
We received timely phone calls to confirm our reservations prior to arriving. Barbara and Uz took the time to answer all our questions about our accommodations and explain the check in process. We arrived early and checked in our luggage and encouraged to explore the city while our room was prepared. The location is ideal. It is a few blocks from the historical center with the main plaza called El Jardín. We enjoyed the very walkable City Of San Miguel with so many rooftop restaurants, and a lively atmosphere in the plaza with mariachi bands. we were treated very well by everyone we met. Our room was very well pointed, cozy and peaceful. We had a great nights sleep with the comfortable bed and fluffy pillows, .The Hotel grounds wind around with beautiful vegetation and plenty of quiet places to sit and enjoy the day. There were plenty of guests but we still felt tranquil and serene. we found a jewel in San Miguel!
Very central, the hotel is a beauty! The interior is very clean and it really looks like it is presented on the website!
Charming, distinctive, unique. Casa de la Noche is a one of a kind boutique hotel not to be missed when visiting SMA (San Miguel de Allende). Guests are at once felt welcomed and are well taken care of by the owner and staff alike. There are multiple areas both indoor and outdoor to just hang out if one wishes. There is an “honor bar” where guests just sign for whatever they use and it will be settled at checkout time..again, unique! The walls are adorned with local art; some can be purchased. The staff goes out of their way to assist guests with recommendations for local restaurants, places to see, things to do, and arrange transportation with info on how much is the usual charge…very helpful! It is located about 2 1/2 blocks from the central square in town, and easy walking distance to markets, restaurants, places of interest, bars, shops, and art galleries. I have stayed there twice already, and will continue to do so on future visits to SMA. Strongly recommended.
Casa de la Noche was a great place to stay on our first visit to San Miguel. It's not fancy, but it was comfortable, quiet and in a great location, close to the square and a lot of other places to see. All very walkable. The breakfasts were really good too.
It's a small thing, but the pillows could have been a little better.
Beautiful and magical place a little off the beaten path (good) but still a quick walk to most areas of interest. If you’re alone and it’s late you may want to grab a quick Uber, although I mostly walked. Staff is super friendly.
Casa de la Noche is like a home away from home. Guests are made to feel comfortable and welcome the moment you arrive. The Casa is unique and charming. The rooms are full of art and have comfortable beds and bedding. There are multiple places to hang out. The best are the courtyards! Just beautiful. And, the location is so convenient. I just love everything about Casa de La Noche! You will too.
I was in SMdA for a couple days break from CDMX. Casa de la Noche is wonderful—very convenient location, comfortable room, lovely spaces inside and out to relax, and great breakfast. I especially enjoyed the artwork as the hotel also serves as an art gallery.
Totally relaxing. Best location in San Miguel, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. I was there for the Murder Mystery week—and what fun it was! It was such a unique and enjoyable way to meet and connect with other guests. Each day, the guests who chose to participate met for about an hour—usually over breakfast—and received clues. No one knew in advance who the "victim" would be. We were each given a new identity and stayed in character throughout the week. After breakfast, we either broke up into smaller groups or explored on our own. The week included a wide variety of events: a music and food festival, an art show, a trip to the botanical garden, cocktail parties, dinner at a local’s home, guided walking tours of the town, and of course—plenty of eating and shopping! On the last day, we finally solved the mystery. Everyone had a great time. It was especially nice to really get to know some of the other guests. Several people even mentioned coming back next year for a repeat! Also, it was such a relief to escape the Sacramento Valley’s summer heat. Mornings and evenings were in the 60s and 70s, with the warmest days only reaching about 80—perfect weather.
The hotel is just lovely, with a resort-like feel given the level of elevated amenities, such as massage services. It reminded us of the homes in Andalucia, Spain, where behind a simple street facade emerge lush garden spaces with fountains, stone mosaic pathways and terraces. There is thoughtfully curated Mexican art throughout the large property. Our quarters were private and very comfortable. We noted event spaces on the property that would provide a lovely venue for a wedding or retreat.

This beautifully restored property is a gem in a wonderful city. The attention to detail in the restoration brings peace and tranquility to all who crosses their doorstep. The staff shows an incredible level of respect to management and the pride they have in their jobs shows in everything that they do. From the time you walk in the doors you have this sense of peace and gratitude that you are here. I will return often and you should also. Kudos to everyone here.
The place is beautiful. The staff is excellent and nice. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were close enough to walk to everything yet far enough away to be quiet. Love this place
Great place to stay while in San Miguel de Allende. Walkable to many historical sites. Plus a variety of tasty restaurants within a 5 block radius. Not to mention numerous art galleries and shops. Hotel is decorated in a traditional Mexican style with artwork from local artisans throughout. Also there are multiple terraces covered in exotic plants and flowers. A relaxing, refreshing and enriching place to stay while in San Miguel.
Charming bed and breakfast in a former bordello. Beautiful courtyard and art in all corners of the inn. Barbara, the owner, and her staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready with a Hola every time we passed. The rooms are intimate but had a Mexican charm. They were the rooms used by the ladies and each is appropriately named with a photo of the workers. An easy ten minute walk to the main square but still off the beaten path. Would definitely stay again!
Casa de Noche arranged a transfer from Mexico City Airport to the front door of this boutique hotel In San Miguel de Allende. Our large room was comfortable with a Mitsubishi AC unit. This was early summer. Barbara, the owner, went out of her way to locate a church group for me. Juan Carlos gave us a couple of restaurants to try which were very good. But the breakfast under the frangipangi tree were exceptional with fresh juice, yogart, toast, and eggs. The other guests were friendly and English conversation was enjoyable. I will be going back this year to get my Residencia Permanente and looking forward to staying at Casa de Noche again.
Staff and property was exceptional.
It is a beautiful place with its own particular charm, the service was incredible and I had a great time, the ambience was cozy and the host and staff truly made it feel like home. The food was excellent! I'll be back.
Very pretty, restful gardens. Wonderful breakfasts. Friendly and serene. Walkable to center and other art- related areas.
Lovely, hospitable staff who took care of the property with pride. Community events to bring people together happened frequently. The host is among the friendliest people you could meet. The grounds were lovely and each room unique. We truly enjoyed a restful and restorative experience during our stay here. Would definitely book again’
It had wonderful charm, character, and customer service. Highly recommend!
I stayed recently at this charming bed and breakfast hotel for five nights. Everyone there was very charming and helpful. I was needing a peaceful getaway and this fit my needs. Very quaint, quiet and beautifully decorated. 10 min easy walk to the Jardín. The owner, Barbara, and her staff were always very pleasant and helpful letting me know of certain activities I might like. The breakfast each morning was delicious and so nice having breakfast on their patio to start my day! I highly recommend and I will be back!
Had a wonderful weekend stay through Easter Sunday. The hotel itself is so lovely with lush gardens in the courtyard, where you can enjoy your breakfast (included in price) to the peaceful sounds of the splashing fountain and watch the birds’ comings and goings. Breakfast consisted of all you can drink coffee, fresh fruit ( heavenly ripe mango, papaya, cantaloupe and pineapple), yoghurt, granola, more coffee, mango juice and a rotating menu of omelettes, huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, etc. The rooms are quirky and uniquely decorated with lovely Mexican textiles and antiques. I stayed in “Pepita”, one of the “working girls” rooms. Yes! This hotel was once a famous bordello! You can explore the history of it in the gorgeous dining area. They also have a bar on the honor system, where you just jot down the amount of wine, beer, sodas or snacks you took, which is great if you come in really late and need a little something. The best thing here though, is the outstanding personal attention from everyone that works here, from Ricardo and Uz (sp.?) at the reception desk, housekeeping, food servers and of course the owner, Doña Barbara! They are so amazingly kind and helpful with anything you need and great for personal tips to make your stay even more pleasant. Will definitely be returning!
This place is beautiful!! The staff are friendly, the breakfast is delicious, and the beds are comfy. Location is very near the centre of town, where you can easily find great restaurants and shopping. Casual, laid back and quiet. Perfect for our 2-night stay at SM.
Perfect host, location, ambiance of hotel
This charming boutique hotel offers a relaxing ambiance. Rooms are delightful. Personalized Service is lovely and breakfast was on point in the courtyard with a peaceful fountain. We absolutely loved the location. This is the best price value paid experience.
Exceptional decor. The buildings are beautiful and the artwork was like a cultural art museum.
Beautiful property and warm, helpful staff made for a lovely stay!
Fabulous and welcoming space in the heart of SAM. The proprietor and her staff were gracious hosts and tended to every need thoughtfully and thoroughly. The art gracing the walls, inviting seating areas surrounded by fountains, beautiful flowers and singing birds, and comfortable, clean and unique rooms made our time in San Miguel extra special and the fascinating history of this former bordello added to the memorable stay. Highly recommend.
Very beautiful. Lots of art. Well taken care of. Delicious breakfast
Nothing
Beautiful boutique hotel near the centre with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Original art work and local decor enhance this historic bordello making it a very special environment. The staff and owner are outstanding, with opportunities to build relationships and experience in-house events. The delicious morning breakfast includes fruit/yogurt/granola and a revolving egg dish. I've stayed there three times, each over three weeks, and we've already booked for next year.
