The guest house was very clean, the hospitality tray was excellent, biscuits hot chocolate and cappuccino was an added bonus, cath the host was very friendly and made you feel at home straight away, breakfast was freshly cooked and hot and was lovely, I would definitely book in there when in Llangollen next time

Excellent location within Llangollen with good, secure parking. An excellent Indian restaurant (Rani) a short walk down the street - well worth a visit. A wonderful welcome from Rachel, a great night’s sleep and a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast. What more could we want??

Cath is amazing! Always there to help, and goes the extra mile :-). The room was very clean and tidy. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with as much toast / tea / coffee / juice as you wanted. All the staff were lovely. Brilliant centralised location with off street private parking. Will be staying again!

I liked the hosting. Cath is larger than life and very kind and attentive. The breakfast was well cooked and coffee free-flowing.

Didn't like the shower particularly. Nothing wrong with the flow or cleanliness but my friend is over 6ft tall and Im a big lad. We both found it very tight and difficult to wash easily.

Cath and her staff were very helpful and welcoming. Big cooked to order Breakfast held me over to dinner every day. Bed comfortable, decor nice. Good location in a lovely town.

Certainly could benefit from some updating (as owner noted will be doing). Bathroom was very tight / especially shower. My room had some street noise, but curtains blocked street light.

The location is excellent, the staff very helpful and friendly, and parking on-site is available if you notify at least a few days in advance. A lot cleaner than the average B&B, and lots of choices for breakfast. No major complaints or issues at all, and can strongly recommend.

A desk (or small table) in the room would have been nice (if e.g. forced to do work when travelling), which should be standard. The floor of the room tilted noticeably (so almost fell out of the bed once or twice from gravity), but in all fairness told of this when checking in. Also, whilst nothing was bad, everything was not perfect as still a number of things that could be improved; nothing of which that lessen my recommendation for this place, but when considering all things, not justifying a perfect 10/10, but close...

Location was perfect - we left our car at the hotel for the 2 days and nights we were there and walked to see the sights - hotel 5 minute walk into town. Kath was so welcoming and informative. All staff were so polite. Breakfast was cooked to order.

Excellent breakfast freshly cooked to order, plenty of choice.. My room was spotless and larger than expected. It was at the back of the hotel so it was quiet. Fan was provided which helped a lot as weather was very hot.

Herzlicher Empfang von der lustigen Cath, die sehr hilfsbereit war und ein individuell zubereitetes Frühstück angeboten hat. Wir Die Lage war sehr zentral, Ortsmitte fussläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Sehr ursprüngliches Ambiente in einem alten Coach-House.

Das Bad war extrem klein, aber für eine Nacht okay. Zimmer zur Straße hin etwas laut und sehr warm, aber auch hierbei für eine Nacht in Ordnung.

The staff here were absolutely lovely, and couldn't do enough for you. Very friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfy. Breakfast was great and host very willing to cook or provide whatever you needed.

I didn't like the fact Royal mail depot was opposite the building and all night I could hear deliveries, there was ear buds left on the bedside tables (i don't get on with these) and the morning after knew exactly why they had been provided. The bedroom felt cramp. The bathroom small not a lot of wiggle room in the shower and a noisey but eco-friendly toilet flush. Two flights of steep stairs to room.

The Room was Ideal for our short stay comfortable clean and modern Had a great night sleep and Breakfast was great 👌😎

The rooms that our son and daughter stayed in smelled of drains. The landlady apologised but it was not possible to sort this quickly as it is an old building.

Cath was so kind and friendly. She kindly sourced me a gluten free breakfast to have in the room before we set off for our walk. The bed was comfortable and it was handy having Netflix on the TV. It was a great location, very close to Llangollen town.

The only criticism I would make it that the shower tray filled up quickly so showers had to be kept short. Otherwise everything was perfect for our 1 night stopover on the Offa’s dyke path.

Room was clean and comfortable, tea and coffee available in room. Breakfast was exceptional, located in small town on River Dee, close to local shops/ eateries etc, steam railway and white water rafting available locally. Friendly staff, would be very happy to return, good value for money

for price cannot really find fault, follow suggestions of owner re parking and you should be happy

Lovely staff/owners. Lovely old building, quirky layout. I had a single room, plenty of space, adjoining shower room, clothes hanging space, plenty of tea & coffee (and fresh milk available, if you want it). Great breakfast, cooked to order. Absolutely superb value for money, just minutes walk into town. Real keys too, which is nice. I loved it ☺️

The room didn't have an En Suite although the bathroom opposite was allocated exclusively to the room.

breakfast as much as you could eat, staff very friendly. would stay there again, and recommend to others. While on the railway was talking to some visitors who where staying at the hotel near the bridge and they said how tired and run down their hotel was. so where pleased to hear about the Cambrian for future visits.

Wonderful cozy place to stay. Very welcoming and friendly staff, were helpful to give directions around the town and recommended a great place to go for dinner. Would definitely visit again

From the outset, Cath, the hotel owner, made us feel at home. The hotel was spotless and in a central location, allowing us to explore Llangollen without needing to move our car, once we had arrived. Breakfast was 10/10. Cooked to perfection and nothing was too much trouble. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to return ourselves.

Friendly host , she meets you on arrival , let's you know where to go & how to get there. No reception after all residents have arrived. One night stay, the host was back for breakfast waking all the guests up with her enthusiasm for everything & intent on making your break interesting & amusing. Cereals , fruit & choice of cooked breakfast, tea , coffee, fruit juice, toast. Good location for centre Llangolan.

Das Zimmer war sehr gräumig,und hatte noch ein schönes Bad. Das Frühstück war sehr Lecker und wurde so zubereitet wie man möchte. Man bekommt auch gut Tips für Ausflüge. Gut ist auch der Parkplatz direkt am Haus.

Location is perfect, very much in the town, but space is at a premium. Bathroom was modern and very well presented.

Single room was, for me, too compact. No room even for a bedside cabinet. In fairness price reflects that. I have nothing to complain about, but I would not book again.

Rachel heeft me supervriendelijk ontvangen en een heerlijk ontbijt voor me gemaakt, top! Locatie is prima, river Dee, de canalboats, muesum en Plas Newydd op loopafstand. Ook fijn dat je op het terrein kunt parkeren.
