Twin Peaks Lakeside Inn

Good location and price.

The people in the other rooms were so noisy and you could hear the people upstairs

Bathrooms and rooms are not that clean

Room was spacious

Parking spots were a bit tight.

Great location and close to town, friendly staff

Was supplied with milk but had no condiments to make a hot drink with as well as no soap to wash hands. May have been put in the wrong room, this didn’t affect the sleeping arrangements but would have been nice to have what was selected

First room did not have hot water so we were moved almost immediately. Staff were accommodating.

I really liked the beautiful location, peaceful surroundings, and the stunning lake views at Twin Peaks Lakeside Inn. The rooms were comfortable, and the property had a lovely relaxing atmosphere.

The only thing I didn’t like was that some areas could use a little more maintenance and updating. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay and found the property comfortable and pleasant.

View a nd the rooms were clean

The electric blankets did not work..oil heater did not heat the rooms properly

Location was great.

Our room was half decent. It felt like it wasn't clean. Found rubbish near the beds and hair on the floor in the bathroom. We didn't like how the cups, plates and cutlery were located in the bathroom wardrobe. There were no forks or bowls. We had to buy our own to cater for our stay. Also the toiletpaper was not refilled that we had to ask for one.

It was central. Spacious and clean

No heater in the second room. The heater provided was very small one and did nothing. Windows latch was broken so couldnt shut them.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous location. The mountain views were superb.

The location was great, staff were really helpful

nice view over the lake

Everything great rooms

Convenient location helpful staff Quite room

Location was good and the beds were comfortable. Gentleman at reception was polite at check-in.

There was no milk provided for hot drinks and the bin was full of rubbish. They don't provide enough shampoos and body wash. It was also really noisy.

We had a great stay at this lakefront motel in Taupō for a few times now. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered beautiful lake views. They have been recently refurbished ad well which is quiet evident with everything new. The staff were friendly and welcoming as always, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Excellent value. We'd happily stay here again!

Location was good

Internet doesn't work at all

Accommodating late check-in, unit nice & warm when we arrived late at night

Nothing

Good location that’s pretty much the only highlight.

Facilities terrible. Shower broken and leaking badly. Electric blanket not working. Room not serviced with fresh towels. Complained to reception. Photos do not look like the actual room we received. Old and very tired.

Was very close to town in walking distance, was very comfortable enjoyed the view and was very affordable.

The room was dusty had a very strange smell other than that it was good.

Location

Room needs more attention on cleanliness,

Location is excellent

I stayed in the triple room. Unfortunately, there was a strong unpleasant smell throughout the room. The bathroom also had no exhaust fan, so after taking a shower, steam built up on the ceiling and condensed into water droplets that fell back onto the floor. Before long, the entire bathroom floor was wet, including around the toilet and my toiletries. I'm very glad I only stayed for one night.

Location very good, room comfortable

Water from shower - couldn’t stop hitting the bathroom floor but all clean - shower door a bit short probably

N/A We had dinner at restaurant. Excellent value for money.

Weather but it is winter

Comfortable bed and electric blanket a big plus, main bedroom/lounge ok.

No handrails or outside lights over the steps and landing not good at night. The shower was falling apart. A bit dated.

Location and restaurant on site were a bonus

Step up to shower was a little high for us older folk

Location is great. Very comfortable beds

The unit we stayed in required some attention to the shower. Very high step in/out of shower with no railing to support so a massive safety risk. Family staying next door had a spa bath but the bath had a lot of long black hair in it? On check in the reception is blocked by a vehicle and remained so all weekend.

Very clean and tidy, easy check in

Everything

The view

Fabulous stay at the Twin Peaks Lakeside Inn, Taupo. Perfect location to walk into town for dinner, and go to the Markets and Mini Golf. Clean welcoming rooms. The Managers are very kind and accommodating. A+++

No breakfast

The room could have been updated.very dated and basic

Very functional and clean. Super well located for our purpose. Room was vert spacious.

I got a late check in and my keys were waiting in my room and the lights were on so I knew which room was mine. I.appreciated that as it was 1030pm at night

Nothing the room was very nice

Nice clean and friendly people

Clean and comfortable

Location. Was across road from the lake and only about a 10 minute walk to all the restaurants on lake front.

Parts of bathroom floor skirting near bath needs replacing..( likely caused by water from shower over bathroom soaking in over time)

Loved everything, just a shame we didn't stay longer.

We didn't stay longer

Noisey and my sisters room smelt weird

Restaurant right next door.

Nothing

Very convenient to walk into town - property was clean and tidy and very comfortable.

A little bit dated, could do with a well deserved spruce up to freshen it up.

Clean cheap and great service
