Nick and his staff are amazing. So friendly, and efficient. The breakfast is good, and you're made to feel like one of the family!

We had a room at the top of the hotel. As space was a little limited, the hand basin was next to the bed. Whilst this wasn't ideal, we understood the reason for it and it didn't really impact on our stay.

It's my third time in Eastbourne and my second time staying with Nick and his family. Next time I'll stay with them again. The B&B is so close to the beach that you can hear the waves and it's close to the pier and small stores, which is super convenient. Nick is always happy to help. I had a problem with the shower because the boiler was too high up, and I'm short. He came up right away, and we found a solution. The breakfast was also homemade and fresh when you came downstairs. What I really loved was that they were allergy-aware without making a fuss, which made me feel like a normal guest. Thanks again for my wonderful week with you.

Compact room and ensuite located metres from the seafront (we had sea view). Street parking is tight, but you’ll get a spot somewhere nearby and it’s free. Excellent breakfast made with love by host Nick and family. Guest lounge on ground floor. First and second floor rooms serviced by stairs. We enjoyed our stay in this Trad seaside hotel and would stay again.

Nick is the perfect host and will do anything he can to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The hotel is just off the Eastbourne beach pathway and an easy 10 minute walk from the center. It is outside the pay parking area so street parking is free. Breakfast is great and their are plenty of restaurants/takeaways nearby for dinner. Just tell Nick your interests and he will offer a useful suggestion of how to spend your day.

Be aware it takes a few minutes for the hot water to reach the rooms on the top floor. Be patient, it does arrive eventually. As most locals know that the parking is free here they use it also. So finding a free spot is not guaranteed, but I got one each evening close by.

Bardzo dobre śniadania, bardzo miły i pomocny gospodarz, domowa atmosfera. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja obiektu tuż przy promenadzie i bardzo blisko przepięknego molo, które stanowiło tło w wielu znanych filmach np. Poirot. Blisko komunikacja miejska którą można się dostać na przepiękne klify kredowe Seven Sisters i do innych przepiękych zakątków tego hrabstwa.

Nice quiet location but still very close to the sea front and a short, pleasant walk to the beach. Very clean. Good choice of cereals etc for breakfast. Excellent WiFi. Lovely guest room and nice decor. .

The bed was a bit soft for my liking. Also floorboards are a bit creaky. The cooked breakfast wasn't great quality but probably not bad for the price. TV was a little small.

As it was close to the main road and as it was hot and having both windows open at night you can heard the traffic noise.

Friendly welcoming staff, breakfast was great as so many options. The room was decent for a single room, had all I needed to sleep for a few nights after a hectic few days.

No fan in the bedrooms really hard to sleep. I know it's exceptional weather but it's also summer. At a small increase in rates I'm sure customers would really appreciate it we were on the top floor, but even people on the ground floor were to hot.

The owner of this property went out of his way to help us, couldn’t have done better, only started the night due to circumstances however found it very clean comfy , for breakfast there was a very fresh and a very good variety of to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place 😎 💯.

Terrible experience from the very beginning. When we arrived around midday, we simply wanted to drop off our bags before going to the beach. The host immediately told us that check-in was at 4 pm and said, “Which part of 4 pm don’t you understand?” The comment felt extremely rude and made us feel as though we were being treated like idiots for asking a simple question. He then told us that he was going to work and didn’t have time to talk to us. We were shocked, as we had never experienced such unfriendly treatment at a hotel before. We simply said, “Okay, you go to work and we’ll go to the beach.” The host apparently did not like our response and then threatened to cancel our reservation. We were travelling with two children, which made the situation even more stressful and upsetting. The host later apologised, but unfortunately, the apology could not make up for the terrible first impression or the way we were treated upon arrival. Overall, a very disappointing experience that started with completely unnecessary hostility and stress.

* No parking available at the hotel. There are only a few parking spaces on the street, and we were lucky that someone happened to leave just as we arrived. * Our two daughters, aged 11 and 14, were not allowed to share one room, even though we, their parents, were staying in the room directly next door. * The host did most of the talking and did not seem willing to listen. We did not feel warmly or welcomingly received. * CCTV cameras at reception also recorded the audio of conversations. * The bathroom was very small, with the washbasin directly next to the bed. * The double bed was very small. * Our room was in the attic and was very hot and stuffy. There was no fan or air conditioning. * There is no lift, so we had to walk up to the attic floor. I had suffered a torn ankle ligament five weeks earlier and was still experiencing pain.

The location is perfect, straight forward access to the town centre, across the road from the sea. I got up early to watch a sunrise. I felt very safe. The welcome is friendly. I liked Nick’s sense of humour. The welcome pack is very comprehensive. The breakfast is copious and very well organised.

Maybe that I had to choose the time when I had to come for breakfast the next morning, although I fully understood the reason behind this.

Our 2nd stay at the Reymar and as ever Nick is a wonderful host and presents a delicious choice at breakfast. Common room available with board games and books.

On street parking can be a bit challenging during busy times!

breakfast was excellent and cooked fresh each day and a good choice of cereals, bread and yoghurts. Only 10 minute walk to the pier up the seafront and another 5-10 mins to town. Rooms were quiet even though all rooms were full.

The sun was very hot and so were the rooms. I had to buy a fan to keep cool at night and kept curtains closed all day. The bathroom was quite cozy and shower a little temperamental.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable. My bed springs were completely gone, to the point that I sunk into the middle of the mattress. There were no fans in the room, despite it being 30 degree weather. The cooked breakfast was not very good (mainly the eggs) and some of the showers had very little pressure. For the price we paid, we would have expected much more

Die Unterkunft ist sehr strandnah. Zimmer und Frühstück sind in Ordnung, aber sehr einfach. Das Internet klappt einwandfrei.

Der Wasserdruck im Doppelzimmer unterm Dach ist sehr niedrig, sodass das Duschen viel Zeit in Anspruch nimmt. Leider hat der Besitzer im Vorfeld nicht auf meine wiederholten Anfragen per E-Mail und booking geantwortet. Da wir mit dem Zug gereist sind, wollte ich das Gepäck vor dem eigentlichen Check- in um 16Uhr unterstellen. Auf diese Anfrage habe ich keine Antwort erhalten. Glücklicherweise kam bei unserer Ankunft zufällig die Schwiegertochter aus dem Haus, sodass wir die Koffer im Hof abstellen konnten. Laut Buchungsbestätigung hätte das Zimmer Meerblick haben sollen, hatte es aber nicht.

Breakfast was very nice, and the host was friendly and communicative throughout my stay. The room itself was a little tired, with the chair, curtains and lamp showing signs of age and wear. My room was also on the top floor, which meant carrying a heavy suitcase up several flights of stairs, as there was no lift. This may be something for future guests to consider when booking.

The location was good, right near the water, and you could walk to the pier.

The weather was exceedingly hot and the property was unable to provide a fan for our room. We were extremely uncomfortable both days we were there. They also need to invest in new firm mattresses for the rooms with twin beds. My mattress was in poor shape to sleep on and it hurt my back.

Das Zimmer (Zimmer 15) ist nur für eine Person geeignet, nicht für zwei, zu eng, schlechte Matratzen, hängen durch, Waschbecken im Zimmer, daher keine Privatspähre.....nicht ordentlich gesäubert, noch nicht einmal das Bettlaken glatt

Very friendly family run bnb, friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble . Great location.

Das ganze Haus ist sehr heimelig gestaltet und dekoriert. Der Aufenthaltsraum ist wie ein typisch englisches Wohnzimmer und der Früstücksraum ist supersüß dekoriert. Das Frühstück wird vom Inhaber Nick persönlich serviert und in der Küche zubereitet. Nick und Hannah sind tolle Gastgeber.

The room was clean, and had everything need. Breakfast excellent start to the day with all the buffet cold options and a cooked option. Nick is a great character and adds the genuine family appeal. There is free parking on the street in the vacinity of the hotel and provided you weren't back to late you would find a space. If not seafront is free over night just need to move before 8 am and you can then move to the street parking.

The mattress could have been a bit more comfortable, but not a major issue.

Nick is welcoming host, and the Reymar is very well located, minutes from the sea. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very well organised, and our stay represented good value for money. Though we do not have children ourselves we noticed that there were bowls, and cups and cutlery that was all child friendly, and we thought that was kind and thoughtful.

The pillows were very thin, and the shower was erratic, going unpredictably from hot and cold which was a bit unnerving. Saying that for a clean comfortable friendly stay in Eastbourne we could could not fault the value for money.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Phil remembered the purpose of my/our visit to Eastbourne. He gave us useful information about where to eat near the hotel.

The room floorboards creaked a little. The hand basin was a little cracked. The single bed creaked. The bread for toast was not very nice - wholemeal would've been nicer than the brown/white.

Nick is a fantastic host, nothing was a problem. He was down to earth & friendly. Great location for the town & local attractions. Fantastic value for money B & B

We had a wonderful stay at Eastbourne Reymar and wanted to say a genuine thank you. From the moment we arrived, Nick made us feel welcome. He checked us in, shared helpful local knowledge, and clearly cares about every guest’s experience. That level of attention stood out straight away. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The small touches made a big difference. Tea, coffee, and water were all provided, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. We also loved the recreational area. It was a great space to relax, with games and useful local information. Breakfast was a real highlight. One of the best we have had. There was a wide choice, with both buffet options and a freshly cooked breakfast. Everything was well organised and high quality. The rest of the staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. For the price, this place offers outstanding value compared to other options in Eastbourne. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Nothing to report. The experience was marred from the very beginning. Despite having a confirmed booking and arriving late due to unavoidable circumstances, we were refused check-in altogether with no alternative arrangements offered.

The manager was rude, condescending, and unwilling to find any practical solution, leaving us stranded and forced to pay for last-minute accommodation elsewhere. In contrast to standard hospitality practices where late arrivals are usually managed with flexibility, this experience was unnecessarily stressful and disappointing—proceed with caution if your arrival time may be delayed.

Our room was at the front by the front door, people made lots of noise coming in and out late at night. This also wasn’t the room we had on our booking confirmation

We had a good night's sleep, the area around the hotel was very quiet. There was a good choice for breakfast, and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. There is a bus stop very near the hotel, making it easy to travel locally and to get a connections. I will stay there again next time I'm in Eastbourne.

This was my second stay at Reymar and I will stay again. It is excellent value for money and the staff are really friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The accommodation is comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Nick was so kind and helpful. He located me on the ground floor and even asked the carpet cleaner to do my area later as I had mentioned I’m not good in the morning. The property is in an ideal position near the sea, pier, and town but has free parking outside. The room was very comfortable with en-suite, a radiator you can turn up and down, and windows that open for fresh air. Plenty of tea and coffee are provided and you can choose if the room is serviced, or left alone. I don’t eat breakfast so can’t say, but I bet they go out of their way to make it perfect for their guests.

On street parking and when I came back late I had to drive round for a bit to find a space. Not too much of a problem for me, but could be difficult if you have mobility restrictions.

The facilities were good and even though my room was small it was still well equipped .Housekeeping was good overall , but could be improved . The hotel location is great and the town centre is easily accessible. Overall I had a pleasant stay . Thank you. Looking forward to staying with you again in the future .

Location and accommodating nature

Good value accommodation, particularly as a full breakfast was included. Very close to the sea front and quiet location but only a 15 minute walk to the main shopping area. I don't eat meat so pleased that Nick could provide me with some veg sausages to go with the rest of my cooked breakfast. He was also understanding when I claimed I had lost my electric toothbrush only for me to find it in my case after he had gone to some trouble to look for it.

Bearing in mind the good value of the accommodation I don't have any dislikes
