Lovely hotel, quiet location, food fabulous! Good entertainment. Friendly staff.
Staff were very good and helpful. Food was excellent.
Our room was very poor. We have used Choice Hotels for the last 25 years over the 4 hotels and have been very lucky in the rooms we've had. The window was frosted and the bathroom window was see through glad it had a net at the window. No chair in the room because it was very small. Looks like you have to pay for a sea view to get a better room.
we like this hotel it is comfortable & the food is excellent
the toilet paper is very poor quality & it spoils a good hotel

Great location
A little dated in areas
Slept well in the twin room. Bedroom/bathroom were clean and bed comfortable Staff at breakfast were friendly and professional. Food was hot and breakfast area easy to get around.
Meals were good. Room was small but adequate. Bathroom was clean but couldn't get in and out of shower because no handles to hold on to!!! Bed was probably old because my husband rolled out of it on to floor. He is 90 and badly scraped his arm and had to go to hospital on way home
Bath with shower above.. terrible not having grab handles. I'm 83 and husband 90.
Would recommend staying at cliffs hotel , staff helpful , room clean , food was excellent ,and service there , facilities good ,
Blackpool main strip , empty run down hotels , needs tidying up ,

It was excellent for the price we paid. The food was exceptional!!! The building itself self was a little tired looking, but comfortable enough.
we went for breakfast in the morning a lady opened the door for us we went and got a table sat down we started eating are food for her to come over to us and start shouting at us and leaning over a family member when she was trying to eat her food very UN professional
Great food, very good value for money
The food was delicious 😋
The bathroom the toilet was awkward to use and the shower was awkward to get in and out of
Brilliant facilities for families great pool and the games room is great for kids. Nice food
Our room was very warm but the weather was exceptionally hot that weekend. We could of done with a fan for the room
It was a goood Breakfast, food was good.
Its a shame the biulding is very old and must be a fortune to mantain, its just aged in the corridors an rooms, but the bars and dinning rooms are great.
superb room
breakfast - not up to standard compared to previous stays
Nice people, good value.
I expected the pool to be bigger.
excellent
Good comfortable bed, good food.
Bathroom size cramped. Dirty carpets throughout hotel reception and stairs and corridors.
Fantastic hotel, food is brilliant and friendly staff. Pool and jacuzzi are brilliant, very clean and warm. Entertainment was good fun and very comfy beds.
Toilet was a little close to wall and bath so if you gave a fat ass like me it was a bit of a squeeze.
Food at dinner time wasn't the best compared to previous years
Everything especially the jaquazzi and swimming pool the bedroom and bathroom wer really clean asswell so that was good xx
There wasnt anything that i didnt like about my stay xx
The food was amazing, entertainment was great.
Everything no bad points

The width of the the bathroom could not fit on toilet. No grab rails
Excellent food & entertainment. Good range of drinks, lovely staff
View from room was awful. Room very hot had to use the fan. Difficult to get in & out shower which was over bath
Convenient to all areas as we were house hunting

The food in general was very good but needed to be hotter. The staff in restaurant and bar excellent.
The volume from the concert room was much to loud, we could hear it plainly in our room that we had to request a move. A lot of people were saying it was to loud in the room.
All inclusive was excellent
Beds were soft and get uncomfortable
Childrens entertainment on the evening.
How dirty it was, very dated, pool and changing room were filthy, for over £200 i was expecting a lot more.
Everything. The staff are a credit and makes the cliffs so welcoming. Meals are great, great choice. Room great and house keeping brilliant.
Didn’t realise that your allocated table for stay doesn’t include lunch, which is due to smaller seating area available. Was a bit confused when going to sit and realise that someone else was sitting there. Maybe better if other guest could sit on an unreserved table, as their were a few available, or making guest who don’t no aware of this.
Lovely staff. Clean tidy. Excellent entertainment. Comfy beds
All good
Great for the kids and food was good especially the breakfast
Entertainment and lounge areas very good .
Around reception area carpets looked like they haven’t been vacuumed for days . Carpets on stairs worn and Dirty .
Great location, my room was a good size and I had a nice sea view. Breakfast in the morning was spot on. Considering that it seemed busy everything moved along ok including check in.
The food was brilliant and the staff 👌
The room was very dated
food was okay lot of pasta not nice
entertainment was very poor always liked the cliffs for entertainment the pillows were like rocks did not sleep very well
Nice rooms good food and friendly staff
Need to change the carpet in the reception area spoils the lovely hotel
The food was better than expected
I had an issue with the water draining out of sink with the plug in. I reported it twice and even after an assurances from duty manager it was never remedied during our 7 day stay.
The food choices was good, especially the starters. The refurnished decor in the main lounge and rooms was very nice.
The happy hour time. It clashed with the main meal time. Would prefer the time to be later.
Loved pool, childrens entertainment
I was located a twin room when it should have been a double room really small yv in room really small seen bigger eye pads.
Room was a little on the small side Breakfast was OK but some of the food had gone cold dinner was OK but we,ve had a lot better
There was little in the way of adult entertainment discos for children most nights - obviously the hotel has been cutting its costs
Clean and quiet
Thought we would have been able to order sandwiches as an option to eat after 6 but were offered crisps and nuts
Compared to other hotels in Blackpool this is great. By far the best Ive stayed in. Had dinner and breakfast both included that was actually really good. Entertainment and atmosphere was great. Room was ok but was fine and did the job. Overall great stay.
Room was a bit run down and basic but I didnt excpect it to be any different for the price. It was fine.
The facilities offered everything we needed, the food was exceptional, the cafe was cozy the drinks taste and presentation was really good and the food was really nice, you could see the sea from the cafe wich was a really nice experience.
There was nothing negative during our stay

Nothing
The breakfast 🥞 was great 👍 The are was the best
It was very expensive
Decor, food, staff, style.
Needed some plants (real or artificial) in the upstairs hallways! Maybe a vending machine and pool table.
Brilliant hotel, fantastic food
Such a friendly hotel, staff helpful and food is great and full of choice!
Good for the kids
Not much parking but did manage to park pretty close round the corner.
Location and entertainment. Staff very helpful.
Our bedroom had a terrible view of a side wall, not what we expected.
The staff were professional and kind
The smell of the room, cleanliness. The facilities in general. The hotel is old and it stinks.
Comfortable beds but that’s about it. The breakfast was ok not much selection though Kids club was good
Dirty. Hairs everywhere in bathroom Layout of room not ideal for Mobility issues No air con Remote control was filthy and sticky
Amazing entertainment pool brilliant for kids staff couldn't do enough
The only thing I would say is that the rooms are way too hot
Pool, gym. Room was okay. Staff mostly friendly.
The entertainment wasnt very good. We went to the Doric instead. The cafe is over priced.
Location food not bad & nice cool room to relax in
Stair Carpets needed cleaning
Convenient spot and able to accommodate us last minute
Felt a little overpriced for one night
Nice hotel
Staff were rude on reception. Room small. No on site parking as stated
Location and food was acceptable at this price point
Chloe on reception is clearly in the wrong job. From checking in where she failed to inform us the need to book the pool told us dinner was a six and to mention it ran to seven and on checking out rolled her eyes at my wife asking a question regarding the car parking situation. Also there are no dedicated car parking spots for disabled people. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in.
Location
The room we were given was down two long corridor’s and I had walking difficulties which I made the hotel aware off before we booked so I was not happy about this
Nothing
The staff were really unprofessional they used our stay as a bit of fun pass time making life difficult at every chance they got the staff in the kids club great dining staff great there was a young boy blond hair about twenty made our time there that bad my boy friend went to our room threw all our stuff in a cases and checked us out and left half of our clothes there .our kids had a miserable holiday and had to come home Saturday afternoon threw this young man the food was beyond disgusting and I was charged £500 for the worst time ever . And stayed less than a day . If I was to sum up my stay with one word ville springs to mind . An absolute rip off I intend to give bad reviews on every web site I can
Location . The staff were excellent and polite, helpful despite it been busy. Staff highlight if the stay
Looked a bit tired in reception stairways.
Entertainment goods Bar and lounge good Food hall excellent Staff pleasant, friendly and helpful
Bed to soft, bad for me with back issues Not Cleaning and poor maintenance of the portable fan Someone smoke weed from the room, sticking the place out
Food
Rooms a bit dated
Friendly staff
Familiar where we normally stay.
Checking in was seen after people who arrived after me causing extra waiting around taking up time on a short trip.
The breakfast was lovely, the staff were amazing especially the reception staff and the location was good
The lock in my door didn't work, I had no net at the window, I was at the opposite end of the hotel to my friends. The rooms were clean enough but the beds were hideously uncomfortable
Rooms need updated food was far had to use my credit card to pay a £1 this has happened for second time but never get my £1 back when I leave bit of a take on
Building need updated, you just drop your key off into a tin no staff interaction and they take a £1 off your credit card and say we will refund you when you leave but never do . After you have paid with booking.com joke
Had a room that looked onto a roof couldn't open window as pigeons sitting on window ledge location was great swimming pool a bonus asked to keep room open till 12 on day of departure they said no the best they could do was 11 but check-out is at 10.30 anyway so not very good as you can't even get into the room until 4pm check-in
Wonderful visit again. Brilliant for all ages.food fantastic. Swimming pool sauna and jacuzzi great. Couldn't ever see us using anywhere else.
The meals where amazing xxx
Changed rooms 3 times, asked for walk in shower, my husband in a wheelchair, got a shower over the bath, no good, Changed rooms for us, but there was steps down to the room, no good Changed a 3rd time, there was a a step up to the shower about a foot high the door frame was far too small to fit through and he's not a big man, no good but just gave up after that, he just had a strip wash, wasn't happy x
Great food , clean and comfortable rooms , beds lovely
A little fat out from pleasebeach and attractions if u wanted to walk but only a short tram away
Comfortable, good price, breakfast was good
Unfortunately, our TV did not work when turning on
The location was good, easy access to center . Food was nice.
There was limited parking available at the hotel, so we had to pay around £30 to park nearby. Although we were travelling with a child, our room was located directly above the hotel’s disco club. It was extremely noisy throughout our stay, especially at night, making it difficult to sleep. The hotel did not take into consideration that we were travelling with a child and could have assigned us a quieter room away from the noise.
Food, pool,
The bathroom was very smal More entertainment singing more modern songs
Friendly staff, lovely food and great service. The jacuzzi was lovely and warm which was nice.
The lifts could do with an update and there could be more food choice in louunge area. We also had a problem with a toilet that didnt flush properly.
Every thing was brilliant but could not open window very much as it was very hot in the room
Windows didn’t open much
Location perfect. Travelled with older daughter for cheerleading competition so room having 1 double bed and 1 single bed was great. Beds were comfortable and clean. Staff in bars and in cafe friendly.
Toilet was on top of bath, no room at all which was disappointing. Shower took awhile to figure out as was scalding hot. Comedian (use term loosely) made a joke about the room being full of autistic people. Having a teen daughter at home with autism I thought this was disgusting (thankfully she wasn’t travelling with me). Staff on reception needs work and should have drop off for keys when checking out. Main issue was only managed to get breakfast on the Monday due to weekend cheerleading competition early starts so was really looking forward to it. Imagine my surprise whilst eating toast to mop up cooked breakfast the waiter came over and removed my plate. Complained to manager who said they do remove cereal bowls for efficiency before cooked breakfasts which I thought was great in theory except my daughter who I was with had only had a bowl of cereal as doesn’t eat cooked breakfast and the waiter had left hers on the table but removed my plate. Said she would speak to him but got the impression that she wouldn’t.
We’ve stayed at the Cliffs Hotel many times and we’re going back on the 31st of July for the weekend, and I always recommend it to family and friends it’s ideally situated for the tram/bus stops, We can’t fault the Cliffs at all 👍👍👍👍👍
The only fault I can say is that room 140 has a toilet roll holder directly behind the toilet which is rather inconvenient, but other than that I don’t have any problems with the Room.
It was a perfect location for us and we had a sea view room which was nice. The breakfast was also nice.
Couldn't park on the carpark. The first receptionist was rude. The room was very dusty and the toilet had feaces left on the seat, we were told the room would get another clean, which it didn't so had to be moved. The bar only sold carlsberg lager on tap. No ice available at any of the bars for drinks. Only 1 tea bag & 2 coffee sachets in room. The bathroom mirror still had the last guests toothpaste on it.
Staff excellent
Rooms was very small. And the bathroom was very very small, struggled to yous the toilet.
Very clean all through the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean also. The food choices are plentiful with something to suit all tastes..Evening entertainment,Bingo, singers, dancers and community…all great.
The hotel is somewhat out of the way but the bus and tram stop is right outside,so handy to go into Blackpool or the other way to Clevelys and fleetwood.
Very clean & comfortable - staff very friendly
Nothing
The food was lovely. Staff were also happy to help & welcoming
The rooms were small , old fashioned & tired. Had to change rooms due to tiny bathroom. The toilet was barely accessible. People from the local area (drinkers) were using the hotel steps to meet up drink & smoke
Food
Place
Plenty of entertainment and the food was very nice lots of choice and big portions also a nice comfy bed.
Location. Nice dinning room and bar.
Requested top floor but didn’t get. Queues in Dinning room if you wanted toast. One toaster not in use. Bit frustrating.
Pleasent stay
The main meals were abit dry. The entertainment finished far too early on the days we were there
Breakfast good,dining room staff brilliant
Reception staff very rude over car parking, acted as if it was our fault some blocked us in and they didnt give their details at reception!!!!
Food
Staff helpful and friendly. Being able to get a swim without needing to book
The room was shocking - drawers falling apart, view out was to the worst possible view of the aircon units and brick walls. Bathroom standard in room was really dated - Bath had a yellow tinge to it. Family room was like a cupboard. Tiny TV’s
Breakfast and evening meal fab ,lots of choice. Great facilities Entertainment average Lovely guest and staff.
