The breakfast was excellent and when we asked for something else to eat one day there was no problem with them doing this
Everything was good this was the second time we have stopped there and will be going again
The room was good
The propiators, Christine and her sons were so lovely. They made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much effort. They were brilliant with my toddler, who has recently began walking, and so she was into absolutely everything, but that didn't phase them at all. Just brilliant hosts. Thank-you all so much.
Only thing I can fault is the kettle in our room, it took a long time to boil, but everything else was spot on.
The owner was so lovely 😍
Bed wasn't very comfy and we was up 3 flights of stairs so was annoying.
Everything was perfect in terms of the physical rooms, staff, breakfast, location, security, cleanliness.
The rooms were not close together but also not too far away this could not be avoided due to other people who had booked. Also the Internet signal wasn't good in the room furthest away that my son was in.
It was clean and Christine was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was nice
It was a little bit dated but didn’t effect our stay
Staff were really lovely rooms very clean
Very dated needs a revampl
The owners were lovely it was like been at my nans back in the day! Rooms were lovely and clean beds very comfy best 2 nights sleep we've had in a long time. A cot was provided for my 8wk old aswell and he slept like a baby literally.
Money thing I didn't like was how far away we were from everything but on the upside the peace and quiet was a good thing
Great location, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and a fantastic view from the window.
The sea view was good, it was the only thing I enjoyed during my stay
The Wi‑Fi in the bedroom was not working throughout my stay, which made things quite inconvenient. I was also given a black duvet, which felt unusual and not very welcoming. The television was very small, making it difficult to enjoy any entertainment in the room. I booked for two nights but could only stay for one due to these issues. I also received very old towels, which added to the overall poor experience.
Curtains to light and couldn't sleep cause street light was shining through
Everything it was in the best location away from the noise at night, lovely balcony to sit out on with umbrella, very clean the lady couldn’t have been more helpful 😊
Nothing it was fabulous will definitely be staying here again 😊
Owners are very friendly and helpful they went above and beyond in catering for our dietary needs at breakfast thank you so much we will definitely return if we come to Blackpool
Only thing we found was shower was cold but after running for a few minutes it did warm up I actually think this was a us issue not the hotels as we had two rooms and boys had no issue using it
It was home from home my little girl took to the owners an decided she was a queen an that what she was caulled our whole stay 🤣 queen u outdo ur self in that hotel i honestly can say I will be looking forward to staying again absolutely loved every min
NOTHING NOT TO LIKE
Friendly welcome and clean breakfast was great too
Nothing to dislike
Breakfast was tasty. Staff very friendly and welcoming like a home from home. Tram stop very close by Very clean and tidy Nice and quite
Nothing
This was our first time visiting Blackpool, and I can honestly say we had an amazing time! After travelling seven hours from Wales, we were greeted with the friendliest and warmest welcome from the staff at the Maples Hotel. The hotel was lovely and the rooms were perfect for my family. Everything was spotless, and the morning breakfast was beautiful—it is safe to say my kids cleared their plates! We highly recommend the Maples Hotel and will definitely be booking again for our next visit to blackpool.
Cant name anything we didn't like at maples, everything was perfect especially for our first visit.
The views and senary
The stairs to and from the room was steep and very high up there was no parking and we had no hotwater to shower broken tv we did report to the staff and they let them selfs in room while we was out so once we got back and found it out we left early as I didn't feel comfortable any longer after knowing someone had been in and violated my privacy
Very friendly ataff, rooms was spacious, everywhere clean and beds was comfortable
Could do with having more than 1 pillow on the bed
Breakfast poor Room very small for two
Hotel in general Lots of stairs for my wife who is diabled
The breakfast was sound exactly what you’d expect The staff went above and beyond even leaving little extras in our room without us having to ask for example, I had a towel under my pillow the next day after the hotel is cleaned. I was left an extra pillow We was given a travel cot for no extra cost and breakfast every morning we were asked if there was anything else we needed for our room. We was also offered things For breakfast, I always had a full English, but there was cereals jams and things available too In terms of location, it’s out the way but there’s a tram stop however because it’s out the way the phone signal was great and there was a co-op two minutes away as well as a pub
There was honestly nothing I could improve on and I just can’t speak highly enough of the staff it’s a proper family room place. It was so good. We actually stayed for longer. We changed the train. There’s a sign above the bar that says come as guests leave as friends I believe this to be true and I will be coming back next year
We were in Blackpool as we were visiting the Lytham Festival so for us we were literally going to be using the facility for B&B only. The location is good and only a short walk from Bispham where the choice of restaurants and bars is really good. The hotel is just across from the promenade and a nearby tram stop which takes you either into Blackpool or out to Fleetwood. The hosts were really friendly and remembered what you liked/ disliked at breakfast which in itself was well cooked.
There's not a lot to dislike. When the staff are friendly and the breakfast good, what more do you need.
Gentillesse des hotes, petit dejeuner,le calme,la vue sur mer,le tramway avec un arret presqu en face de l hotel
petit dejeuner tardif,ce qui peut etre embettant le jour du depart
Staff very welcoming and good fun, breakfast was lovely. Hotel is tired and in need of a revamp but was clean and bed was comfortable.
Very clean property with period features
Was a little dated but extremely clean and good value for money
very easy and nice environment so polite hostes in the hotel. feel so comfortable
The staff very friendly couldn't do enough fir you.
The room was not to my expectations it was a superior room which was very dark because the window with the shape of the room was set back the wall was in front of the window leading to hardly any daylight. I had to swith on a light in tbe day to see what I was doing only 1 bulb in the ceiling light I was quite disappointed about this having paird 238 pounds for the room which was for 3 days which isn't bad but could have been better. I noticed there was another superior room which had 2 windows.
The breakfast was very nicely presented and done to our specification, nicely organised. Our down side: The window would not stay open during the heated nights. The plug extension lead in my opinion not safe and was reluctant to use it due to safety and fire hazard. The room door didn't fit correctly so had to push it to open and the same to close. The shower area was small making it difficult to go in and out of it.
The vendor was very polite and informative Parking is limited but the vehicle was safe at the resident. You had your own key therefore not restricted to a time scale coming and going from the hotel. That I liked.
Good position and very clean
The room was just a little small
Friendly staff and lovely breakfast
Not very soundproof and was awoken by noisy guests in the early hours and the lighting was very poor, needs brighter lights 😕
Owners very welcoming, pleasant and friendly. Everywhere might be a little dated, but it was spotless, the breakfast was included in the price, and I cant fault it. All freshly made, presented well and tasted lovely. No cheap products either. Can't fault at all.
On arrival, we realised the Mapel was a distance from the centre, BUT, we left the car on the driveway, hopped onto a tram, very good. Enjoyed it.
Clean, comfortable room, with lovely sea view. We received a friendly welcome from the proprietor. Nice breakfast served
Staff was amazing and very welcoming, breakfast was nice we would definitely stay again many thanks 😊
The hotel and staff were wonderful
The owner seemed very nice and her son and staff were pleasant and attentive. The room was nicely decorated, with two chairs, a soft double bed, coffee facilities and a nice hot shower. Breakfast was tasty with a selection of cereals, fruit juices (apple & orange) and Full English (bacon, sausage, fried egg, hash brown, mushrooms, beans and half-tomato). Yummy.
The first floor hallway (servicing Rooms 1 & 2 and a separate toilet) had an unpleasant smell of 'used toilets' and was very off-putting. Thankfully we could only smell it in the hallway and not in the room. Although the room was nicely decorated etc it was poorly planned. The ensuite was too small to include a sink, so the sink was located at the bottom of the bed? The TV was the smallest that I've ever had in a hotel or B&B and it was located halfway across the room alongside the coffee facilities making it difficult to see. One minor detail, the door lock was fitted wonky. Finally, the walk down for breakfast in the mornings wasn't nice, with the smell of cooking bacon mixed with the smell of toilets (thankfully it didn't put us off our breakfast).
Property was clean
Very dated and run down. Breakfast was between 9-9.30am and wouldn't accommodate outside of this time even to get a cup of tea!
The staff were so friendly. The breakfast was nice. Plenty of choice. We were in Blackpool to watch a show it was a gift so we didn't book where we stayed but it was a great choice
Room was freezing cold on arrival, hoteliers skimping on saving pennies. Christine was lovely but nosey asking me all about why I’d come to stay at her hotel, seemed I was an alcoholic because I’d asked for a couple of drinks to take up to my room on arrival. And what a room tiny, bland, comfy bed though and had a shower n toilet, including sea view. Went out for the day got back around 9ish place was dead, bar was shut. Room was luke warm went to bed, heating had been on from around 7 to midnight, room freezing at 1am. Terrible nights sleep so cold, got up at 6am thought ill have a nice shower to warm me up and pop down for breakfast which I was told was 9am-9:30am but I was freezing so thought hot shower and go for a beach walk back for breakfast at 9am, no hot water FFS! Now I’m mad. Went to talk with Christine the hotelier, she’d forgot to mention, they don’t heat the hotel all day and that you’ve got to run the freaking shower for 5 minutes before the hot water comes through, useful information, right! When I said I’d find a new hotel they refunded me the second night saying she didn’t have to as my booking wasn’t refundable after some half assed attempt to put it back onto my card they gave me cash, feels like fake notes. Called booking.com to advise id had no breakfast and have had hotter nights camping in winter than here and they give me a good will gesture of £10. Completely ruined my annual leave and visit to the theme park. Let’s hope they sell the place and let someone who can afford heating and hot water (you know, the basics), run the place!.
Temperature, staff information, shower knowledge, breakfast, space and less fkn nosy
Apartment was lovely and clean, fresh decor
It was all good
Not the best but didn’t really eat it
Breakfast
Owners very welcoming. Clean room. Lovely breakfast. Tram stop right outside. Parking available nearby.
Lack of parking in front of hotel. Very compact bedroom but fine for our one night stay.
Staff and locations were great for locat travel options. The breakfast was very good. Shower room was a good size..
Being on 2nd floor, no lift, view of front wasn't brilliant. Lighting in room wasn't brilliant decor in room was a bit dated.
The balcony + ameneties in the room make it very desireable
The door
The breakfast was ok and the staff were friendly
The bed only had 1 pillow was to far out of town more of a back street b&b than a hotel and the place was very dated could do with a revamp the tv signal was shocking and the bar was shut on a Saturday night !
Clean, well managed friendly family run hotel, right outside tram/bus stops
Nothing to say here
Friendly. Good breakfast and location
Room was cold heating wasn't on at tea time when we were getting ready for a night out. Was too cold to have a shower.
The staff where friendly & hotel location opposite the sea
The bedroom was very cold
Nice quiet area, only 3 stops away from the town centre on the tram.
Very friendly
Location was a bit out but trams were easy enough
Amazing place and the breakfast was just wow unbelievable and the owners where Amazing very warm welcome start to finish
The view and the owners were very accommodating
The hotel was very clean and tidy. Our welcome was warm and pleasant. Our room ticked all of the boxes I required. Warm, dry and clean with the simplest amenities provided with excellent execution.
The sea view, it was clean, the front of house lady was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was good also.
Wifi not strong enough to reach the room we were in and not enough pillows.
Clean and staff very welcoming
Very clean and cosy
Beautiful breakfast, clean warm rooms, comfy beds and amazing staff who always go above and beyond. Lovely hotel.

The breakfast was lovely, enough there to start the day
The stairs
Very clean & welcoming, breakfast was great. Will stay here again.
Nice and clean, comfortable
Nothing
The owners were very friendly and made you feel very welcome Very oldie worldy with a traditional English breakfast.
Only having 1 pillow on the beds, not being able to change channels on the TV without getting a hazy picture or no picture. The bar not being open or having the option to buy from the bar.
The landlady was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and there was a lovely seaview.
Can't think of anything.
Nothing
No eating it was so cold fire alarm when off at middle of the night
Lovely staff and food was good. Plenty of coffee and Tea left in room daily. Clean but a bit dated.
The bed was awful. Badly worn spring mattress and was unable to sleep in the same bed. My fiancee ended up sleeping on the floor. Also. Only one pillow each and the quilt was about half an inch thick.
Very nice breakfast. The hosts very friendly.
There was no lift . We were on the top floor but we made it. X
Lovely an clean, bedroom was well presented, comfy bed. Hosts were friendly, welcoming, couldn't do enough, breakfast was amazing, my husband likes his bacon crispy which wasn't a problem, very friendly, took time to chat. We stay in a lot of b and b's in blackpool, but this is the best one we have stayed in for everything, will be definitely staying here every time we go to Blackpool.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Chris and Gary amazing hosts. Spotlessly clean. We had the apartment with amazing sea view and view of the illuminations right upto the tower. Opposite a tram stop which was very convenient. A hidden gem! We'll definately be back! Oh and the brekkie was great too, piping hot and good ingredients 🥰
Nothing not to like
Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Owner and her son were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing
The service from Christine and Gary was unbelievable,They was amazing! We all felt so welcomed ,The Room was clean tidy/warm the breakfast was spot on in the morning! They couldn't do enough for us ! We will definitely be back .

Staff were extremely helpful to me in a very difficult situation. Thanks for being soo understanding.
Super breakfast
Room a bit small
On arrival no parking but informed plenty of backstreet parking in Blackpool, apparently it’s a hotel because of how many rooms it has but only has three parking spots, one mile walk to tower, black bedding a definite no no for BnB, red flag! Room tiny and 12” tv high on wall, too many red flags and left booking bigger hotel, costing me a nights booking just to get out
Location, parking, size of room, black bedding, shady building works next door.
This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and we will definitely return next time we visit Blackpool. We would not stay anywhere else. Thanks again for another fabulous stay.
The owners were very friendly. The room itself was clean and tidy, a little on the small side but exactly as advertised. Good value for money for a B&B in Blackpool.
The breakfast was nice but standard. Maybe a little more choice of cold cuts, yogurts, cereal etc would be appreciated. The shower enclosure in room was very small and the controls rather hard to fathom, although that said the room was a small double and the water was always hot so not a grumble really. The front steps up to the property are rather steep and the entrance way narrow so bear in mind not easily accessible for disabled or less abled guests. The mattress was not very comfortable. Probably could do with an upgrade there.
The friendly welcome of staff when we arrived very helpful, we thought the whole accommodation was clean, the room and beds were comfy and clean with good heating , the breakfast was nice and organised good and staff went out thier way to help with anything.
There wasn't anything we didn't like would recommend
Breakfast
Bed was wobbly expecting it to collapse room was very box standard nothing special. Bit to expensive for what it was .
The location was good, staff friendly. It was warm and cosy. Breakfast was OK.
No blackout curtains. Very small room. There was no housekeeping, so we had fridays takeaway in our room until Sunday. Black bedding and dark grey towels. Very small tv. Breakfast was nice, but basic 1 bacon 1 sausage 1 toast choice of 3 Cereal no fruit. No privacy because the room next door had excess to balcony, so they potentially stand outside the window just needed a divide putting up. Just a few small changes could make a big difference.
