Breakfast was good, and plentiful. Staff were brill, friendly and attentive. Entertainment very good and enjoyed the fun.

Evening meal was cold but was quickly sorted no problem. Front desk didn't give correct details for the pool. Said there were lockers and needed a pound. No lockers in gents, ladies had them but you didn't need money so the lockers couldn't be locked. Pool area was not good, you can't swim in it as and adult it's too shallow. Celling paint coming off and falling in water and floor. Tiles around inside water line dirty and coping edge tiles broken. Jacuzzi not working. Spoke to the manager he apologized and will look into it. Overall the Doric needs a refurb. The manager has said they have started already.

The staff were great and very accommodating nothing was to much.room cleaning wonderful . Tea tray was not so generous Room we paid for was suite with sea views and jacuzzi bath and shower spacious with seating area. Due to the description being incorrect on arrival as no shower in room and 9 " steps into bathroom Booking.com we had to change rooms and end up with . Double bed in crammed room with bulk beds in the step up part of room with another step in to shower room no where in Booking .com have steps been mention also as there was nothing more ,we had to take room with a shower crammed room which was over top of concert hall and air condition pipes outside window no lovely sea views just red walls dirty windows and large grey pipes. So not happy with Booking .com it also cost us £40 for 2 half steps to get in and out of rooms. So to finish this on day 1 we said the water wasn't staying in the sink nothing done Day 2 shower change while in shower from hot to cold to hot again not a very good experience at all.corridors narrow only room for one person at a time unless all going same way.same as disabled toilet this was along a narrow passage god help anyone that's desperate disabled toilet should be near dinning/bar/ entertainment area. Hands up for dinning / breakfast staff they have to put up with alot

Second time we have stayed at the Doric and it has been 100% both times. Entertainment. Staff. Great value for money. Tram stop right outside which takes you everywhere you need to go.

All clean, nice conservatory to enjoy the sun.comfortable seating in bar area. Having a designated table in the dining room is a good idea.

The lifts are very small and are slow. With a limit of 2 people it can cause a long wait. The stairs are quite steep. Not good if you have mobility issues.

Lovely welcome from reception staff. Easy check-in, luggage was taken to our room while we was out. Lovely sea view bedroom. Well stocked bar with friendly staff. Great entertainment and lovely breakfast. Great location.

The bed was a little hard.

It didn’t smell nice could feel the springs in the bed and just looked dirty wasn’t worth the money at all.

The Doric is a lovely hotel with pleasant staff. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and steam room are great.

The hotel is lovely and plush downstairs but the room we were in could have come from a decent B&B, it didn’t WOW me. Being told on arrival I had to pay £50 a night deposit for damage/breakage was a shock as I was not pre-warned!!!!!!!

breakfast was lovely and served to your table with drink and toast ..pool i did not use and seen it was very big ..room was lovely just the mattres was bit hard and was cleaned every day staff was helpful all th time ..tram and bus top just next to hotel had tram pass can be use many times all day seen the light with out getting too wet ..

All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I was placed in a corridor with families in the corridor and the floor above. Kids were running around until the early hours of the morning. Had disturbed sleep. I did report it to reception however ghe response was to call the night porter if it happened again.

The staff are very helpful. Entertainment 7 days a week. Swimming pool is great and changing rooms was clean. Breakfast was lovely. Room was good size, mattress was a bit hard for us but everything else was great.

We was not aware of the deposit you have to give for any damage its £50 per night max £150, so for us for 2 nights it was £100. This was not stated before we booked on booking.com and should be stated. However, apart from that we have had an amazing stay.

Bar area really nice and a great front location

Asked for a walk-in shower due to mobility issues, which was given however I was placed on the 3rd floor in one of the furthest rooms possible from the lift. There was ceiling tiles missing near our room with wires hanging out and a fire door had the bottom pane of glass missing. Parking is a strange one, there is space for about 6 or 8 cars alongside the building however when you check in you're asked by reception to leave your car keys so they can move your car if another guest needs to leave. Who in their right mind is going to leave their car keys with a stranger? We stayed in for the kids entertainment one night and wished we hadn't, a guy called something like 'Fat Dave' was the entertainment, this man was scary at best. He tried playing musical statues with the kids and then decided half way through to play a different game which was then also changed. His "jokes" were in no way funny and most were more a sad attempt at Chubby Brown, who tells a room full of kids jokes about death and funerals?

The room was very dated , tiny lift , very narrow corridors reflecting the age of original building , doesn't match with the hotel downstairs . The beds were the most uncomfortable ive ever felt , never slept at all an the noise from room above us was horrendous even at early hours in morning.

Rooms were comfortable and food was niice.The bar staff and entertainment was good also.

Indoor swimming pool was too shalliow fior a proper swim.

It is a good hotel we were well looked after, food and entertainment was good, been many times over the years always enjoyed it going again for Christmas 26.

The staff are really friendly and helpful.the food was very good. The location was next to the tram stop so ideal for us. The entertainment was really good. The beach was straight across the road.

Stayed at several hotels in Blackpool and been happy.The food is plentiful and delicious served quickly and efficiently. Like the fact veg comes seperate in dishes so you can help yourself. Staff helpful and rooms cleaned each day. Entertainment OK but have to say the 4 D's were brilliant.

The room wasn’t great, dirty windows, outdated in general. Dirty looking carpets around the hotel, holes in door. Terrible smell in the jacuzzi like stale water. The indoor pool is a plunge pool and only 3ft deep all over. It was also freezing cold. The sauna and steam room were switched off and were freezing too.

The double bed in room 3 was very uncomfortable. Felt like laying on bed of wire, all the springs were felt. I had to sleep on top of the duvet, even then could feel them. I’m sure if I said something it could have been sorted but after a full day and evening out was too tired. Furniture in bar area but tired. Otherwise good budget hotel.

Family room is really dated and could be cleaner, bunk beds are tiny and squeak with every movement. Not a great location if you want to get to central etc. So expensive, not worth the money we paid. Would not recommend.

I could not fault this hotel. The staff, the room, meals and entertainment were excellent.

Only one issue in the bedroom 52 the window didn't close. It was a very windy night, so the whistling sound came through.

The hotel is being refurbished, so all main areas, dining room and reception looked new. We were upgraded on check-in to a refurbished bedroom. However the corridors and lift to the rooms on our floor (not sure about other floors), looked at bit tired.

There is a dispute regarding my deposit for the room. The money was taken out on the day (from my bank and have the receipt) but it disappeared from my bank then 2 days after i have had notification that its being taken out and there is no trace of the £100 but they are trying to take it out

Loved everything about the Doric Hotel. Everything under one roof, entertainment, bingo, 2 relaxing pools and a hot tub. Child friendly. Right opposite the beach. Very comfortable bed, lovely room. Cleanliness was great. Delicious food, amazing staff. Not far from the main shopping & promenade. Perfect Perfect Perfect

The lighting in the bedroom was awful! Really bright white so it felt like we were sitting in a hospital or something. I have no idea who thought these lights were a good idea but they really aren't. Please change them for warm bulbs rather than bright white clinical ones. It didn't make the room comfortable or welcoming at all.

Room infested with fruit flies. Swimming pool filthy, should be closed down. Breakfast & bar menu food barely edible (toast ok). Children’s entertainment poor, highly disorganised, no structure, not many games, no kids bingo at all, prizes were a bag of crisps!

Lovely bar area, obviously recently renovated. Clean and inviting. Good facilities including the pools and entertainment.

Bedroom very small and out dated. Bathroom was tiny making it very uncomfortable to use. A lot smaller than the family room we had used previously in that hotel. Quite expensive for what we actually got. One small lift made it very difficult navigating a pushchair and bags in and out of the property. Staff weren’t very welcoming on the front desk. Gave us all the information we needed but felt like we were in their way.

The room & bathroom were quite small for a double & single bed & it was very hot without air conditioning (we did find a fan in the wardrobe as we were leaving)

I didnt like our room,the mattress was terrible,i could feel it sticking in my back, i didnt get very much sleep tossing and turning all night and ended up with back pain and low energy throuhout my 2 day stay. The shower in the bathroom was also terrible it was very slow and kept going hot and cold and the bathoom door kept sticking and found it very hard to open,my partner had to do shoulder barges to open it nearly everytime me and the grandkids needed to go in there and there was no lock on the inside of the door for privacy The steam room in the pool area looks old and dirty

The lounge area looked all brand new! The food was lovely and so were the staff! The bedrooms were basic but lovely snd clean!

You cdnt get a drink from The pool bar on all inclusive you had to go inside to get it whicj is hard work being a single parent as my child had to get out of the pool everything we wanted a drink

Could have been cleaner especially in the places people don't often look. The first time we have been and possibly may not go again as not really up to our standard.

Rummet var litet, slitet, enormt knirrande golv, tyvärr heltäckningsmattor. Fick ont i ryggen av sängen. Trånga långa, smala korridorer med ett virrvarr av dörrar. Svårt att köra resväskan på heltäckningsmattor genom dessa korridorer. Belysning som slocknade när man stod stilla tex utanför sin dörr, man såg ju inte nyckelhålet.

Nothing its disgusting scruffy swimming pool rotten carpets got duck tape on to hold them together glass missing out the doors absolutely rotten

The state of the rooms scruffy and smelly and not kept at all they take a 50 pound deposit per night to sleep in them rooms its vile

Långt från staden. Dyra tram resor. Duschen var dålig och hade en mycket dålig stråle och svårt med temperatur. Väldigt varmt på rummet fönstret öppet endast lite och en fläkt utanför lät hela natten. Toaletten hade problem att spola ner någon gång om dagen. Golvet i rummet och korridoren knarrade något för jävligt.

Family of 5 room was changed late to include bunk bed which was very uncomfortable. Main issue was lack of water pressure in the toilet and shower, maintenance looked at and tried to resolve but wasnt any better, was told at checkout would've been offered a room change, pointless at that time. Clear signs of damp in our room and one day ended up leaking due to heavy rain Decor very dated and floorboards creeked on our floor no matter how slow you walk! Parking in the street was pot luck. Expectations weren't high for a 3* but disappointed overall

It was a friendly hotel with lovely staff. The food was wonderful and the waiting and bar staff were lovely. Found it a bit chavvy at times with some of the clientelle but didnt let them put me off. Would have preferred a proper walk-in electric shower. All in all though a nice hotel.

Wouldn’t say it’s anything to dislike it is a bit far away from the central but short tram ride gets you there in under 10 minutes

Great location and a clean and tidy room. The check-in staff was very welcoming. They do have live entertainment in the evening, which was pleasing to see as I've never seen a hotel do that before.

The waitresses do sound very bored of their job. Finding parking near the hotel can be luck of the draw, really. Breakfast was very average. The hotel isn't modern by any standards. It looks old because it is old.
