Location, architecture, friendly staff
The steam room was down
room was nice size. the guy diredtikng traffic at the entrance was helpful
Swimming pool was not actually on the main rooftop but on the roof of an annex, changhe your advert. Also we didn't bpother going to the pool as it was packed with some disco djh party and the noise up in our room from it was shocking. The car park was very confusing to find ones way around. the elevators were dirty. there was no control of the queue at check in and people just forged their own way in ahead of others.
Amazing building! Gorgeous outdoor garden and pool area.
Facility public areas were not well cared for; dirty carpets, stains on chairs.
Room was okay. Didn't meet my high floor request.
Requested high floor. Got the lower floors. Amenities weren't working (hot tub).
I wished I had more time. It was great, the location and the food was excellent. I will definitely go back. Nice place to celebrate a milestone or special events.
The location and that it was quite but still in the heart of the city
The price was significantly more than usual because an event was in town
Great central location & generous corner room with balcony. Clean & spacious
Appalling they charge $150 per night per room for incidentals. No other hotel charges this excessive amount. In our case, $900 for two rooms charged against my credit card which will take a minimum of 10 days to be released. Totally unacceptable & unnecessary
I asked 2 different people twice for a brief greeting card for my Mom in the room since it is her first time in her dream city. The card could have been as simple as "Welcome to Chicago, Maia" but it was not there. I know it probably sounds like a small thing but I really wanted her to feel welcome.
Everything!!!
Nothing to complain about
location
Asked for rooms that would be adjacent to each other. Was given rooms 910 and 906 across from each other and separated. When asked whether the promise could be kept, was told "no." Room 910: spider crack in 8 directions on sliding glass door for shower--each more than 12 inches long from top and some more than 24 inches; maintenance/front desk called; no other rooms offered; told it's "probably" tempered glass so it doesn't matter. Sink did not drain despite stopper position up and sink basin was full of murky water upon arrival making it unusable; lamp between bed had frayed lampshade; tv stand and desk had bubbled laminate sticky surface; balcony covered in dirt for just our unit; peering over to other units the balconies were clean. So odd---had no idea from the reviews that we would be treated like this but now I am reading more . . . . room 906: housekeeping skipped this unit. Explained to front desk that there were disheveled towels suggesting at first that maybe we were given keys to someone else's unit; front desk confirmed this was the intended second room they wanted to give us; entry door damaged; front desk told us the $1200-plus we paid did not qualify us for better rooms. Took time/date stamped photos of everything we saw on check in and asked to check out and stayed elsewhere. No refund allowed. Incidentals fee not refunded for either room although the minibar fridge was not touched. Returned the next day and were overcharged for breakfast ($108 for one room and $56 for the other) although confirmed in advance that breakfast was included at no charge for both rooms. Asked front desk to have management contact us. Never did. Sending photos to city regulators. How do businesses get away with this in 2026? So upset.
The view!
Pool towels were always gone
The location
Nothing everything was perfect!
The room was comfortable, very quiet, and had a lovely view.
The breakfast . There are better option outside the hotel
Booked 4 people but only towels for two. Requested more towels which came late evening and one was dirty. Ran out of pool towels two days in a row. Dirty cup for in room coffee
Location was perfect for us. very close to the park, pretty close to the lake and the river— chicago trifecta. I’d say its a couple blocks to all the action without being crowded and in the dead middle of the action. Pool was a really excellent urban retreat between day and night activities. The building itself is beautiful architecture… easy to spot. Gym was extra good for a hotel gym. Staff A+++ and so accommodating, shout out Daniel at the front desk. Found it to be good value. Just being extra picky cons- elevators were a little slow, no mini fridge.
Great environment, good rooms, clean and nice people
My experience was really nice great customer service.
The hotel is in a great location close to everything yet hidden off the beaten path.
The outdoor pool was nice, but there were no towels in the cabin with pool towels next to the locker room. We went to shower in our room but there were no shampoo, conditioner or shower gel. The coffee maker had not been cleaned. When we talked to the hotel lobby receptionist about our complaints when checking out he did not at all apologize or in any way say that he was sorry for the problems during our stay, he only said he would notify the housekeeping team.
My room was at 72 degrees consistently, no matter how cold i would turn up the thermostat. The light in the front of the room didn’t work. No complimentary wifi. The pool is a lap pool. No place in the pool to hang out unless you want to bother people doing laps. Pool towels are very thin. Elevators were the worst. They take forever to arrive on your floor or lobby. Lastly, the restaurant attached was very, very bad. We had spinach dip, fish tacos and margarita flat bread. I will not return or recommend.
We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and a lot of activities to keep kids entertained!
Great location, cleanliness was great, staff was helpful. Dinner at restaurant was good!
Could not get the temperature to lower in the room. It was a hot day and wanted to go into our cool room and air never seemed to fully kick in. When we pulled up, Valet staff never came to our car. We had to walk in towards building, there we 3 of them chatting by the entrance.
Nice room, nice view, awesome staff!
Beautiful hotel and great customer service
Great amenities! Gym, pools, track, sauna, steam room. Room was spacious and loved the view.
Location was perfect , walking distance to everything. The staff was very nice. The price was great. LOVED EVERYTHING! I normally don’t write reviews and I’m a traveler but this one definitely deserved one!
Great staff and great hotel. The location is also the best, close to everything including the river and parks!
Great location. Nice facilities and restaurant. Loved our terrace and view from our room.
The handheld shower didn’t work. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful but one of the front desk staff was not very nice.
Overall, we had a good stay and thought this was a very nice hotel. It seemed newer, our room was clean and modern, and the shower was excellent. The TV included YouTube and Netflix, which was a nice bonus, and having a balcony was great, although it would have been even better if it had chairs or any outdoor furniture. There were a couple of downsides. One of the two beds had a couple of hairs on the sheets when we arrived. More concerning, however, was the pool. My daughter cut the bottom of her foot on one of the vents on the pool floor. Thankfully it wasn’t a serious injury, but it definitely shouldn’t happen and made us hesitant to use the pool again. Several deep cuts on the bottom of her foot. One other thing to note is that the bathroom layout is a bit unusual—the shower and toilet share a single sliding door, so only one can be closed off at a time, which isn’t the most practical if more than one person is getting ready. Despite those issues, we enjoyed our stay overall. The hotel has a lot going for it, but I hope the pool vent is repaired before someone is more seriously injured. I choose to not upload my daughter’s injured foot. We had a nice time in Chicago. Lots of walking.
My husband and I stayed at the Raddison Blu for two nights last week. I was greatly disappointed in our overall stay. First, the front desk was not friendly when I checked in. They also did not ask if we had any parking needs and when I did ask this worker seemed annoyed. It was odd. The thing I had the greatest issue with was the room. We had a city view king. This room was not clean. There were unknown substances splattered on the bathroom wall by the vanity. The baseboards in the bathroom were filthy, pillows smelled like body odor. There was also clear water damage in the bathroom and it had an overall smell of mildew. Lastly, our feet were filthy just from walking barefoot in our room. The thing that got me- during our entire stay I received text messages from the hotel asking how our stay was and if anything could be improved. I expressed that I didn’t feel our room was clean, and specifically requested fresh pillows. This request went unmet. I would not recommend this hotel.
Everything About The Property Was Nice
Elevators Are Very Slow
Location was perfect, assisted were very helpful, hotel super clean and organized, we loved ♥️
Everything was amazing the set up the ambience. It was so romantic. It was nice. The staff was nice. The hotel was beautiful. The view was beautiful.I just thoroughly enjoyed myself as a working woman every day. It was like a getaway in my own city. I can’t wait to go back. is my new spot. Also had an indoor and outdoor pool a basketball court pool hall full gym restaurant inside restaurants nearby everything was amazing. It was perfect.
Our go to in Chicago. Five star service in a property with a world class fitness center and olympic outdoor pool. Can’t wait to return.
I booked a $350 room, single king facing the park, and even though I called in the morning for check-in, asking for a quiet room, came to find out that all of these rooms have a bad head that sits against an elevator that makes a consistent sound. It would be impossible to get a good nights sleep. I was forced to upgrade for $356, totally cohered by the hotel totally out of my control, and because it was a busy week I could not cancel and try to find another hotel. These rooms are also subpar, scratched cheap hardwood floors, and cheap unkept furniture.i won’t be back.
Wonderful hotel, great restaurant, amenities are top notch, staff are great HUMANS, wonderful place.
Decent place, I’d likely not stay there again. Impossible to get caffeinated coffee packs in your room for the $15 coffee machine. The Starbucks downstairs consistently can’t make your order correctly (5 times, 2 different drinks). The towels in my bathroom were damp and the top shelf had peeling paint and stains from the HVAC.
Great location!! And amenities. However the rooms could be cleaner and a bit updated.
Great location, central to everything! The view and the King corner room is amazing. And the breakfast is fantastic. Richards was super helpful, especially because my flight got delayed and I had to check in super late. And Ulysses made sure everything was great for us going forward.
Many thanks to Ulysses at the front desk for arranging and early check in and mini fridge! He took care of a minor issue with our room and even gave us a food/drink credit. Overall the staff is very friendly and helpful. We ordered from the restaurant and it came up to the room very quickly. The burger wasn’t the greatest but we definitely enjoyed the pesto salad. This is a very large hotel so keep in mind it is very busy. However the beds were very comfortable and the AC was nice and cold. I loved the location near millenium park, and there is a CVS next door for amenities. Behind the hotel there is the most charming small park with foundations and leafy trees and nice landscaping. There is also a gourmet market with 3 floors in this area as well. From the hotel you can walk to the Riverwalk and the Ferris wheel on the boardwalk. I really liked the amenities available at this location. I also didn’t want to sleep in an old hotel with the L train roaring past us so that’s why I chose this location. Keep in mind it is located next door to a fire station, but we were on a high floor and this didn’t bug me as much. I liked how there was a small balcony. My mom also stayed in the hotel and got a corner room on the 17th floor. Beautiful views of Chicago. A nice comfortable hotel with friendly staff.
We did have a small issues but they wore so good to us and fixed it my husband and I enjoyed our stay very much.
Overall the location and amenities were great! Some service was lacking and the outdoor pool was a little gross with stuff floating in it.
Everything about the stay was great. Front desk staff were friendly, courteous and quick, food from Firelake was outstanding and the young lady who brought it to the room was friendly, professional, and very thoughtful. Could not have been better. The next time I stay in Chicago, I will definitely be back.
Ulysses made my chicken so smooth and so did Justin. They are amazing. Take care of my needs. I needed a certain amenity in the room. Ulysses made sure that I was all set and satisfied. Just based on the check-in process, I would recommend 10 out of 10. Thank you Ulysses
Beautiful centric place! Rooms are clean and modern. Bathrooms are weird but ok. Good value not for the room but for the location to walk to main places and restaurants.
Staff was friendly… Hotel was nice and clean. Elevators are super slow. The location isn’t bad
The location was great, they had room service and outdoor pool. The building is on the architecture tour, and a balcony! So rare. The staff was really nice.
The roomservice was wrong 3 times in a row and the pool was so crowded we didn't use it. If this property was a little cheaper it would have been 5 stars, but for over $400 a night it was a little run down. The decor is straightup weird-- truly ugly wallpaper in the halls and all the rooms and the signage was diy-type 90s farmhouse vibes. Very incongruous.
Awesome location, and convenient located to downtown shops and restaurants
Hassan was fabulous and so helpful!!! He made the stay even more enjoyable by his friendly demeanour and exceptional hospitality.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The fitness center was especially impressive—it was spacious, had modern equipment, and made it easy to keep up with my workouts while traveling. The hotel restaurant was also outstanding. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and every meal exceeded my expectations. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
Beautiful hotel, clean rooms. Incredibly polite staff. Loved the location. Hallways are a bit loud, I can hear staff walking through at night with their radios. Also the pillows were small for a king bed, however this was quickly fixed by the staff so that was greatly appreciated. I’d stay again!
The room was very clean. The location, for us, was perfect. Located near Millennium Park and walkable to the Riverfront. We came at a perfect time and the rate was a great value for what you were getting. We were on the 18th floor, our room had a balcony, and the outdoor pool area was perfect for afternoon relaxation!
I liked the location, pools, staff, restaurant, and view.
The rooms could be updated and include mini fridges to avoid food/beverage spoilage.
Perfect location. Everything I wanted to do was within walking distance. Atmosphere was high end. Rooms were spacious and color scheme was great. Amenities were extremely nice. Service was easy to request. Cleanliness was 4/5 but nothing that is keeping me from going back time and time again. Truly worth every penny and will recommend it to everyone.
The experience was great, definitely would stay again
No Complaints
Great pool and very clean
Ridiculous room minibar prices ($12 for a bottle of water) and because of the minibar you need - in addition to and after paying the hotel - pay/deposit $150 per day for possible use of room extras. This is non-disclosed at booking and for three days they pre-charged my card an additional $450. I did not touch the ridiculously priced minibar.
Location & atmosphere was perfect for my friend & I. Rooms were clean and we had a great view. Service truly was the best when checking in with Ulysses. He was super sweet, welcoming and very informative of all the amenities. He truly made our stay feel comfortable!
Great location with a good view. Very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view of the city, only minus no microwave or mini refrigerator, for the price it should be included… overall 9/10
Excellent day fantastic for sure it will be my stay anytime I will go there. perfect.
This hotel has great amenities such as an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center and tasty restaurant/bar. The location is excellent being close to navy pier, the lake shore beaches and millennium park. The service was great, everyone was kind, helpful and attentive. The view from my room was amazing. My only recommendations are to do renovations to the rooms which are getting a bit outdated, and put mini fridges in them to avoid food and beverage spoilage. Overall a very nice stay.
Nice and clean and spacious rooms Food was also nice
Nice and great stay with Radisson Nathdwara rooms was clean and hygiene, that is well maintained by the team
The best hotel luxurious look amazing experience excellent service amazing food downstairs at the restaurant will definitely come back again at the same hotel
It is a perfect location for visiting Chicago. Walking distance from Millennium Park, the Riverwalk and The Magnificent Mile. Rooms are beautiful. You can request a mini fridge if you need it. Pool area is beautiful. It could probably get pretty crowded on a hot day. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nice room, great gym, good breakfast.
Our stay at the Radisson Blu was wonderful! The hotel was very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff was friendly and professional throughout our visit. The location was perfect—close to everything downtown, making it easy to walk to attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and very charming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago.
The kids and I had an overnight in Chicago and we had a blast. We loved both the indoor and outdoor pool even though we get much time in them. We loved the location and how close it was to things like Navy pier or the Riverwalk. The staff was friendly and the valet was really helpful when we showed up a little anxious about the 5 o’clock downtown traffic. We love the atmosphere, especially the sparkly floors when you walk into the hotel room. And the balcony provided beautiful views.
Great hotel, great views, balcony was lovely, but c’mon, buy some more damn luggage carts. I shouldn’t have to carry 4 bags to the 10th floor without one.
Great hotel in a great location. Walking distance to Mganificent mile and the parks and the navy pier. Rooftop pool was great on the hot days. Would have been nice if the outside hot tub was working, only the indoor one was. Room was a bit small but really didnt spend much time in it. Wished we had a room with a balcony…
Perfect hotel location for walking around the city.
Being over charged from website and hotel upon entry. Took awhile at counter to fix the problem and was quite embarrassing and frustrating. Staff was not the most accommodating and made me feel like it was my fault. Also, room was not ready until after 4pm which I felt was unfair.
Average
Snobby server
Staff were helpful and the location was good. I left after one night and the hotel only charged for the same night and promised a refund for the rest of the nights I did not stay.
The ambience was a little too dim for me, room had wooden floors and was not very cozy.
The room are so clean, the beds are comfortable, the service and the stuff are helpful and friendly.
Good location, balcony really worth it, comfortable rooms, (no full length mirror which is unfortunate) Also super slippery shower floor, wide marble tiles a mistake with no grab bar for old people or children. The outdoor area great, pool, track, plenty of chairs. Nice restaurant, great staff
The place itself was not bad… I do think it was extremely overpriced. The room itself was not carpeted, and you could see scratches across the floor from the chair having scraping it. Bad scratches… Housekeeping did not get to our room and replace towels til about 6p.. Food… The food was really good, while expensive the burger was really good and they gave cool little jars for the ketchup and mayo for our to go meals… Parking… Parking was another a robbery… $63 a night… Hidden Charges… while they do warn not to touch the open bar and snacks, they charge you if they are moved… felt very mischievous, and made us stay away from the counter all together… Amenities… This is easily the best feature of the hotel. They have basketball, weights, indoor pool, outdoor pool, steam, sauna everything!!!! That is the meal ticket of the hotel… Ultimately, the hotel was good, just over priced for the corners they cut…
This is our absolute favorite place to stay in Chicago! Lakeshore East is so close to the parks, shopping, the Riverwalk and of course the Lake! Elevated experience at a reasonable rate. The restaurant is wonderful, but many others (Giordano’s) are just a short walk away! Starbucks in the lobby, but the in room Lavazza is perfect and convenient. We can’t say enough about this amazing property. Excellent staff too!
The Raddison was a very pleasant stay. Although the room was nice, I thought it would be more spacious but overall it was great hospitality. Lastly, the restaurant in the lobby is a 10/10!!!
The hotel and the hotel workers were just all together nice and welcoming.
Great service at the hotel and I will stay again!!!
Loved our 13th floor balcony view! Unfortunately, a guest in the neighboring balcony was smoking both nights we were at the hotel 😒 Room was comfortable. Staff were attentive and helpful 😊
Loved the gardens and running track. Great views from there and balcony.
Everything was great—especially Jasmine at the front desk. She helped me book my room on line and made me feel very welcomed! Thank you!
Friendly staff for the most part (bell boy, housekeeping) - front desk staff not so much. Rooms very nice. No fridge in the room. They bring one up if you ask. Pool and roof top nice.
Convenient location. Clean and pleasant . Rooms are good size and very clean with good decors . Room rates are higher than expected. Over all enjoyed the stay. Will come back again in future.
I loved the outdoor rooftop running track and pool (most hotels I found only had an indoor pool). My husband loved that there was a basketball court! The views aren’t as good as other hotels; we could see a little bit of the river but had a big office building in the way!
While the hotel (pool area) had a few issues during our stay, the staff made up for it with their hospitality and attention. The manager on duty today when we checked out went above and beyond for me and my two kids. He helped me find my car and get my luggage out to the garage and to my car. It was very hot and dealing with that garage with two young kids in the heat and a haul of luggage would’ve been miserable without his help.
Rooms were nice, amenities were good. Checkout staff was really rude and gave preference to other guest and treat our group as trash. Which wasn’t expected, when you spend close to 70000 points at that place plus fees.
Location
Parking
Great location. Loved the pool. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Great location, quiet and comfortable room with beautiful design. Friendly team and explained everything well. One comment, Business Center needs an update and as I arrived early, the team gave me access to the room but no WiFi password. I should have asked .
Wonderful Stay. Wonderful Location. This was my second time staying here.
Location
The bathroom set up.
Location: great. Within 15 min walking distance to Navy Pier. Atmosphere: classy, fancy-schmancy, but laid back and non-judgemental. Room: The corner king suite with balcony was amaaaaaazzzzziiiing. It overlooked the roof top pool and you could even see the sun rise over the water between the other tall buildings. The bathtub was big enough for 2 big-ish ppl. Fully stocked cash bar in room. But the balcony....💯 Value: 9/10 but only because we wished housekeeping would've given us fresh linens for the 2nd night. Cleanliness: no complaints. Noise level: it was quiet enough for us. Nothing to complain about. Service: there was room service but we didn't use it. So I can't really say.
Hotel bars can be hit or miss, but this one was a pleasant surprise. Good food, good drinks, and outstanding service. The bartender, Brie, took great care of us and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.
The location of the hotel is perfect.
I asked for a high room w a park view months prior to our stay and was given a room on the 9th floor facing the front of the building. This is the second time in a row that this happens.

5/10Multiple complaints about high pricing (example cited $550/night), minibar pricing and penalties; several guests felt the cost did not match the experience — value is notably weak.
Food and Beverage
8.5/10Mixed signals: a decent on-site restaurant and positive mentions exist, but some guests noted early closures, no coffee in-room and minibar substitutes. Overall food & beverage is above average but inconsistent.
Overall Experience
10/10Reviews are polarized — several guests had excellent stays (clean, friendly staff, great views, would return), while others had severe negative experiences. Aggregating the frequent praise for staff, location and amenities results in a very positive overall score despite notable negative outliers.
