Maten var verkligen jättegod och vi var väldigt nöjda med den delen av vistelsen. Tyvärr var servicen inte lika bra. När vi skulle checka ut frågade jag specifikt om det fanns något mer som skulle betalas och fick svaret nej. Personalen var medveten om att vi hade bott två personer på rummet. Jag råkade sedan glömma min mobil på hotellet och när jag kom tillbaka för att hämta den fick jag plötsligt betala ytterligare cirka 31 €, eftersom min partner tydligen inte hade blivit registrerad korrekt vid incheckningen – trots att vi checkade in tillsammans. Vid bokningen via Booking.com framgick det dessutom att en natt skulle inkludera spa, men på plats fick vi ändå betala extra för spaentrén. Det kändes väldigt tråkigt när informationen vid bokningen gav ett annat intryck.trots man betalade för en natt 289€ Servicen i restaurangen var också extremt långsam. För att få kontakt med personalen behövde man verkligen aktivt söka ögonkontakt flera gånger för att kunna beställa eller få hjälp. Särskilt vid frukost. Maten var kanon, men servicen och den otydliga informationen kring extra kostnader drar tyvärr ner helhetsupplevelsen.

We’re just back from a lovely week in a Deluxe Studio at Bohemia Suites and Spa. What a great hotel! There was plenty of outdoor space, although it was very busy around the main pool and difficult to find a space there. If you don’t like constant music you might like to find somewhere else to stay, but it did create a fun atmosphere. We had a great room, lots of space, nicely decorated, a really comfortable bed and a pretty well equipped kitchen. You might need a degree in appliances to use the oven though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were self-catering so didn’t have the provided breakfast. We might have tried it, but it was pretty pricey at 30€. The evening meal was also expensive but great for a special meal. We ate there once during our stay and it was delicious. It’s also got really good views. Again, the bar was pricey, but had a great vibe and a really good range of drinks. The hotel is close to the beach and an easy stroll to the promenade above the beach. There’s quite a hill down to the beach, but we enjoyed visiting the shops and restaurants there. There are plenty of decent supermarkets within a short walk, so it was easy to self-cater. The gym is well equipped and very clean. We also found the changing rooms really useful when we had a late transfer back to the airport.

Excellent hotel and facilities including 3 pools - 1 indoor, 2 jacuzzi pools, spa and hairdresser, roof-top restaurant with 360 degree view of the resort and outdoor cocktail terrace, really friendly and helpful staff and super tasty food and drinks. The little details such as the welcome drink at the bar on check in, the welcome drinks and snacks in the fridge when got to our room, pillow menu, Molton Brown toiletries and a thank you pack on check out all ensured a personal touch and left a point of difference from other places we have stayed. We stayed in one of the Bohemia Lodges and it was fabulous, very well equipped and spotlessly clean with our own private hot tub on the balcony. Our lodge was easily accessible from the glass elevator that runs up the front of the building and the automatic sunshade over the balcony was a welcome relief when the late afternoon high temperatures were reached. There is a very chilled vibe in all of the pool areas with loungers, sun umbrellas and towels provided. The gardens are well landscaped with mature trees, so there was always some shade when needed. The hotel is located on top of the steep hill overlooking Playa Del Ingles beach and the sand dunes - these are about 700m, 10 minute walk away, with a number of steep steps to navigate down to the main strip, however there are taxis always available and there is a rank not far from the hotel. I would definitely recommend Bohemia Suites & Spa, very deserving of their 5 Star rating.

From the moment I enter the hotel, I feel relaxed and ready to enjoy my time. The lobby, bar, and pool area are very inviting and impressive. The rooms are quite nice, clean, well appointed, air-conditioned well, and have nice views regardless of where you are in the hotel. The staff are incredible and very responsive. As this is an adult hotel, the noise level is low and give a relaxing energy. The roof-top restaurant for breakfast and dinner, along with the bar, have the best views of any hotel on the island. All activities are within easy walking distance, including the beach and shops. I highly recommend staying here when in Gran Canaria.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Brought my daughter for her 18th birthday and the hotel did not disappoint. Amazing staff, great food and service and amazing quality of everything from the suites to the gym. Would highly recommend for a peaceful haven in a bustling town. 👍

We recently stayed at the Bohemia, and even though we struggled to work out where to drive into once we pulled up, as soon as we were met by staff we had the warmest welcome. Our room wasn’t quite ready and we were treated to a cocktail at the pool bar, and while there we had a light lunch. Again, friendly service, good cocktails and a very scenic location. The hotel is modern, clean and very well appointed, there will be something there for everyone, from a hairdresser, spa or just chilling by the pool. The restaurant on the top floor has the most amazing views, it’s called 360 for a reason! This is where breakfast is held, where again the staff are the most attentive you could wish for. After a couple of days, we didn’t even need to ask for our hot drinks, they just turned up after we were seated! The food choice felt a bit limited to me, but it was all delicious. Location wise, you could walk to the beach within 10-12 minutes or if you’re driving, there’s a huge car park near all the bars and restaurants and a short walk to hit the beach. It’s also near the shopping centers where you will find bars and restaurants etc. Ok, I do like being honest in my reviews, and the only complaints I would have are with the room. We opted for a hot tub lodge, which is on a large terrace. The hot tub isn’t filled up on arrival, you can fill it up daily as you need it. Initially we thought this would be ok as it meant less chemicals on our body, but it does take around an hour to fill up and it will take some planning. For instance, if we filled it up in the afternoon, the water came out of the tap extremely hot, so you couldn’t get into the hot tub. The other thing, despite us asking a couple of times, the hot tub wasn’t cleaned and as much as we tried ourselves, we couldn’t clean it properly so we gave up trying to use it after a few days. This was a shame as it would’ve been a perfect way to unwind in the evening. There was also a dishwasher in the lodge, we filled it up and used it with the tablet provided, as the dirty glasses, plates etc weren’t being washed but after that, we weren’t given any more tablets and the dishes just stayed in the dishwasher, although we were given clean stuff every day, so this was a bit weird. Other than that, a perfectly enjoyable stay and we have already booked to return in November! Highly recommend

My partner and I had an incredible four night stay at Hotel Bohemia. The whole hotel has a funky, modern artsy vibe that we loved— there is art throughout that makes you want to wander the space like a gallery as much as a hotel. It turns out that the adult-only rule was extremely helpful for our preferences, and the pool bar hours are adjusted accordingly, which was great for our schedule—we love to enjoy the pool after the most intense heat and sun for the day has passed. The room was very well-appointed and maintained, and housekeeping was impeccable. The staff were literally always available for anything that we needed and extraordinarily helpful. My partner has celiac disease and so one of the most important considerations for us is if a hotel can provide gluten-free food with no cross-contamination. While I had a lot of trouble getting confirmation from previous customers that the hotel could deliver on this, I want everyone to know that they did so flawlessly! They offer a beautiful breakfast spread and were extremely accommodating to his need for gluten-free food. We are American and so don’t specifically need gluten-free bread at every meal or special GF pancakes or pastries– we are more concerned about keeping food that should be safe/uncontaminated free of gluten. Bohemia delivered on this and so much more—they offered an excellent gluten free baguette as well as gluten free pastries that changed each day to give variety. We could tell they have the safety protocols down, he did not get sick, so we felt very safe in their hands. For me, their hot breakfast was one of my favorites I’ve had at any hotel, in terms of food quality. And their cocktails are also great—much more inspired and artisanal than the area’s typical Sex on the Beach and Blue Hawaiian offering. Of note: while I’m generally skeptical of sangrias, the sophistication of their other cocktails got me to give it a shot and they proved that even sangria can be excellent. A wonderful stay that really hit the spot for us all around!

Fantastic stay from the moment we checked in. Every member of staff were great, friendly and attentive. The place was stunning and incredibly clean. Room was superb and clean. We were half board and we couldn’t fault breakfast and dinner. Would highly recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Perfect location, 5min walking distance to the beach and El Yumbo shopping centre. 10min in taxi del faro de maspalomas. Relaxing atmosphere with lounge music all around. Lots of trees ans plants to make your stay of healthy vibes. flowers are beautiful. Luxurious surrounding anywhere you go in the hotel. My deluxe room is amazing, very comfy and very clean with all amenities you need for your stay. They have all internationals tv program and you can chromecast everything from your phone. The value is excellent specially if you go half board. The hotel is very quiet and your windows are noise proof for ultimate rest and beautiful night of rest. Services are high level of professionalism. From the housekeeper through F&B staff passing by the beauty salon everything and everyone are there for you to get the time of your holidays Special thanks to Katia and Paola to make my stay so special with your amazing heart and positive energy. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

A fabulous adults only hotel in a quiet area set back from the beach. We chose a Studio as we wanted a kitchen to give us options including a large fridge which turned out to be a good decision. The room was lovely with 2 balconies, one with 2 illuminating chairs and table, the other with a swing chair and stool. The rooms were well furnished and immaculately clean. The hotel has two pool areas with spas and numerous small areas scattered around where you can relax in the shade away from the pools. The cleanliness and attention to detail of all these areas is on a par with the high standards applied to the rooms. The pool bar service was equally impressive and they also serve a good range of foods. In the evening the focus switches to the 360 rooftop bar / restaurant which is a lovely place to finish the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. We went for a reset break and spent everyday around the pool relaxing which just what the Dr ordered. We rarely return to a resort but if we ever did this hotel would be top of our list.

My partner and I stayed for two weeks in a corner junior suite. I haven't got much to add to other reviews as although we had a nice time, a few things fell short for us, hence the 4 out of 5. When spending almost 5000 euros on a hotel, I would expect a welcome note from the Guest Relations Manager welcoming us to the hotel, which is pretty standard. We had two complimentary beers and some dried banana. A note costs absolutely nothing. We were half board which we regretted, as breakfast was extremely limited so we stopped going after a few days. We also found the dinner menu a little limited also, especially after the first week, so we walked down to Playa Del Ingles for a few nights to break the monotony. I give credit to the staff, however, who were great, especially Guillermo and Jose Luis who keeps it all running smoothly. During the last few days of our stay there was some loud banging in a room above us, which, having read other reviews, seems to be renovation work which was not forewarned by the hotel. Last, I have attached a photo of the pizza that you can get from a machine at the hotel. As you can see, for 17 euros you get a whole four pepperoni slices! I think this above everything sums up the hotel. Value questionable. I would return, but only for a weekend or so. For two weeks I felt too restricted.

First time to Maspalomas, and I have to admit I'm not a fan of the area. First time also in a Design hotel associated to Marriott as a Platinum. The staff is simply amazing! They care, they smile, they are ready to help any time. Was upgraded to a nice junior suite with seaview. There is not much recognition as a Platinum beside this...the reason for it may be very simple, they treat every guest as a VIP. Welcome drink, you choose what you prefer at the bar...simple minibar, but it's complimentary...and the list continue! If you find yourself in Maspalomas, I'm pretty sure this is the best hotel around!

An outstanding hotel experience from start to finish. Everything about my stay in Gran Canaria was fantastic. The staff were professional, welcoming and always willing to help, making me feel valued throughout my visit. The gym deserves special recognition – exceptionally clean, well-equipped and maintained to a very high standard. Housekeeping was equally impressive, with excellent attention to detail and consistently spotless rooms. The overall standard of maintenance throughout the property was excellent. The dining experience was another highlight. The food quality, presentation and service reflected a true fine dining experience and exceeded my expectations. Parking is available for an additional fee and was well managed. A particularly thoughtful touch was that I was celebrating my birthday during my stay and the hotel kindly surprised me with a lovely cake. It was a genuinely appreciated gesture that made my stay feel even more special and demonstrated the hotel's attention to guest experience. Bohemia Suites & Spa delivers a premium experience with exceptional service, outstanding facilities and attention to detail that is difficult to fault. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gran Canaria.

Construction , from 08.00 in the morning till evening. Booked a suite of 350 euro a night , no rest only noise . Stay away. People at the breakfast are nice Reception and management dont care at all

Very good check in experience- front of house staff very helpful and made me feel most welcome. Hotel clean and modern with superb view from restaurant on 8th floor. Breakfast excellent with good input and help from kitchen and table staff. All seemed really happy to be there! Hotel excellently placed - 5 min walk to beach and situated down quiet street. Would certainly visit again.

From start to finish Bohemia Suites was amazing! Nothing too much trouble and the restaurant and staff absolutely make this hotel. The spa treatments were fantastic. Although a small hotel (what we wanted) we never had to look for a sun bed or felt over crowded. We dont normally go back to a hotel but this one we definitely will. We have a wonderful time. I would highly recommend!

It was an overall amazing stay, very clean, great location, food was lovely, staff very friendly.

Even better second time round. I returned 2 months after my first visit in May 2025 but it was too soon to write another review! This really felt like the second week of my holiday. This time bed and breakfast as the food at dinner was so good but i wanted to est a little less. Room, all the touches and the amazing staff were all just as good. Felt instantly relaxed. This time i booked the spa. What a fantastic experience with great value for money. The privacy and calm was total luxury! Im going back again in 2 weeks and i cannot wait to relax, enjoy the views and indulge in some of the best food and spend some time at the spa!

Our room had a very small toilet room with mini sink. Difficult to access. The closet / shelves had doors on both sides as it serves as a room divider. There is a safe I the closet. No room for luggage storage. A single chair for the desk & watch TV. If there are 2 people wanting to watch TV, the 2nd person has to sit on the bed, then turn sideways to see the TV. Awkward! There are 2 chairs & a small table on the Veranda, both plugged in to electric sockets. A switch inside, near the door turns on lights under each chair. Unknown why someone would want lighted chairs. If not lit, there's a pretty good view if the night sky. There is a small drying rack on the porch - to discourage people from hanging things to dry on the balcony railing. Breakfast is NOT INCLUDED for Marriott Elite members, though hotel has a discounted rate for Marriott members. (Staff says this is a Design Hotel, not a Marriott, so they are free to set their own rules & pricing. We received 2 discount coupons for 30 minute massage, which we both enjoyed. Spa services can't be charged to one's room, so patrons need to pay with cash or credit card. Nice swimming pools (I think they are salt water pools.) Being an adults only property, atmosphere is quiet & calm. Pool bar serves good cocktails & food (though anything but beer is pricey.) Club sandwich comes with fries & sharing it worked out well.

Nous voulions un établissement à taille humaine et ce fut tout à fait dans nos critères. Des installations modernes, entretenues, de grandes qualités. Bref un séjour magnifique ! Nous reviendrons, c est une certitude !

Pour trouver un petit point d amélioration, le français n est pas tres répandu et parlé mais ce n est pas propre à l hotel. Cela n empêche pas le personnel d avoir fait tous les efforts nécessaires pour essayer de nous comprendre. Merci à eux.

Absolutely superb. This hotel is an oasis of calm, amazing ambience, relaxation and 5 star food, drink and service. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating and were so responsive and helpful whenever we messaged them. The spa team were awesome and we had three treatments (each) in our 7 day stay - it really was THAT good. The spa area was superb - clean, well organised and a perfect way to spend a private hour or two of pampering! We loved the place and the people - we will definitely go here if we return to Maspolomas!

I've always wanted to stay at the hotel, and had the opportunity to come for 3 nights when my usual Gran Canaria hotel is closed for refurbishment. I have to say overall I was disappointed given the price I paid (250Euro a night). It is allegedly a 5* hotel but I don't think so, probably 3.5* in terms of room quality at the very best. The outside is well kept and the reception lady was lovely and kind, as were all of the staff. The reception area is of a high standard and luxurious, but I'm afraid that was really where it ended. My room a "Deluxe Studio" Room 116, was quite a disappointment and quite tired - brown, gloomy with orange curtains. Reminded me of the 1970s. It was more 3* rather than in a boutique hotel upstairs. There were many problems with the room. It is the type of place where something might have been a good idea when it was new but a few years after the refurbishment of the hotel, it is tired and needing maintenance. There were a lot of maintenance issues that were clearly not attended to. The coffee table legs had chunks taken out of them, the drawers in the kitchen wouldn't close - despite me trying for ages to close them they kept on popping open, the coffee machine leaked the water contents all over the counter so I never really had a good coffee whilst I was there, the cleaner didn't top up the coffee either, the bathroom had a shower over a bath - which was difficult to get into due to the thickness of the bath and it often soaked the floor and I nearly fell as the bath was slippery, there was no microwave but an oven, there were too many switches in the room so it took forever to work out which light operated what area. On the first day the cleaning lady scolded me for being out when she wanted to clean the room (even though my red light was on). Despite these problems, it was a pleasant stay, and there was lots of water delivered daily to the room and the towels and facilities cleaned and changed. It is spotlessly clean. You would expect from a hotel of this nature to receive a courtesy call to ask if the room is acceptable on arrival, but the only call I received was to try and sell me a taxi transfer to the airport. On departure from the hotel I was given some "Bohemia Suites chocolates" which I thought was a nice touch, only to find out when I got home they were the 1 Euro 'Tirma' wafers you can by in a supermarket. More style than substance. I won't be back to this hotel, but at least I tried it. I was considering booking a week here before I tried it out, but have now booked alterative accommodation - it is not worth the money you have to pay. Disappointed.

Had a lodge which had an issue with lighting controls (all computerised and centrally controlled), All lights including the bathroom mirror came on several times on the first 2 nights on a timer at 1.30am, 2.00am and 2.20am both nights which ruined sleep. Had to go to reception in the end who looked at our blankly and said there must be a ghost in the room. They had to come to the room and experience it for themselves before taking us seriously. After the 2nd night of disturbed sleep we had to move rooms. We were offered help to move, but no-one came, cleaner let us in and so had to move ourselves. Eventually we had the key card bought up to us. Felt exhausted by this point when should be a relaxing holiday. Big issue, glass door to bathroom (not frosted) opposite bed. Aside from privacy issue, also meant couldn’t have light on if using the toilet at night, as light would have disturbed partner in bed. Both rooms were very tired, smell of damp, catches hanging off the balcony door. When pointed out the missing screw to maintenance (who didn’t speak English) they didn’t replace the screw and tightened up the remaining screw which failed again the following day. Shelf in shower hanging off the wall in both rooms. How is this being missed by housekeeping? Built in furniture tied with draws not closing properly. Oven didn’t work. Lack of instructions for air con, hot tub or oven etc These should be in all rooms as standard. The hot tub was nice, although it kept draining itself and had to keep topping the water up which was quite tedious. On the last day we used the spa changing rooms to have a shower before the flight. No doors on showers, so lack of privacy. Also water drainage inadequate and ment a slippery floor. In the toilet there were electrics hanging off the wall (very dangerous). Just not what you expect from a 5 start hotel and spa. Why are staff not spotting these issues. Attention to detail needed if calming to be 5 star! Maintenance in this hotel is appalling. This is meant to be a 5 star hotel, yet only has a pool bar or bar on the roof. The pool bar closed at 6pm even those staff were still there and wouldn't serve drinks and directed us to the roof bar. We wanted a drink while waiting for our taxi, but would have to drag all our suitcases up to the roof for a drink while we waited. There should be a bar in the lobby or the pool bar should stay open if 5 star. It seems they are only bothered about their rooftop restaurant and bar and the rest of the hotel is being neglected. After all our issues in the first 2 days, we thought the hotel manager might have reached out to us to apologise and see if there was anything they could do, but we heard from no-one. On check out we were presented with a bag containing a small chocolate bar for the journey. Half hearted gesture. We were very disappointed with this hotel as expected luxury from a 5 star hotel. We paid extra for a private hot tub and what we thought was a bit of luxury. The pictures used of the rooms give a false impression to reality and the maintenance in this hotel is seriously lacking. The only plus was the Molten Brown on tap in the bathroom. That was the only luxury thing. We wouldn’t stay here again. We will stick with our usual 4 star hotel as better value for money and experience.

The hotel is different in a positive way creating a unique experience for your stay. Nice restaurant view, music band roof top, exceptional welcome!

lovely helpful staff, amazing food. room 606 - fab balcony for morning coffee/sun shower is 'open' , not an issue if with a partner. breakfast - amazing, great selection - ask if you want soft poached eggs from the kitchen, mimosa's - self serve, wide selection. ask for barista made coffee if you like yours not from a machine. Pianist a few mornings too - nice touch spa - massage, lovely offer half price nice touch and all guests followed - no reserve 'towels' on sun loungers allowed supermarket less than 5min walk as is the beach - great location nightlife/music can be loud - stopped before midnight when we were there, high season could be different local artist displaying in lobby - different would recommend and return

We arrived around 12:00 pm, even though the room was only available from 3:00 pm. The reception team was incredibly kind and thoughtful: they invited us to sit by the poolside bar, offered each of us a complimentary cocktail while we waited, and completed the check-in formalities there. It was a wonderful first impression. The room was very pleasant, with a beautifully designed balcony that gave it a stylish and relaxing feel. The shower had very good water pressure, which is always appreciated, and bottled water was provided every day in the room. The service throughout our stay was excellent, and the staff were absolutely lovely, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We had booked half board, and we were very pleasantly surprised. Breakfast had everything you could wish for: champagne, pancakes, sweet and savoury options, and even à la carte dishes included in the package. There was really nothing to complain about, especially with the beautiful view over the dunes. In the evening, it is necessary to reserve for dinner, but it is very easy to do, either at reception or directly when signing your bill the night before. As for the half-board dinner itself, we were delighted by how many dishes were included. There were generous and high-quality options such as beef tartare, entrecôte, rib of beef, fish, and more. The half-board includes a starter, main course, and dessert, which made the experience even better. The bedding was comfortable, and the hotel is ideally located, only about 5 minutes on foot from the beach and some shops. The only small disappointment was that, for a 5-star hotel, the hammam was not included in the price. That said, this did not take away from the overall quality of our stay. We were truly delighted with our stay and would gladly come back.

We recently stayed at Bohemia Suites & Spa and overall had a really enjoyable holiday. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and always smelt lovely, which created a really welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts were amazing with a great selection, and the food we had at dinner was also delicious. Most of the employees were friendly, attentive and worked hard to make guests feel comfortable. However, there were a few issues that affected our stay. One evening we waited around 50 minutes for our food to arrive after ordering, which was disappointing. Dinner and drinks were also quite expensive compared with other places nearby. Unfortunately, there was a lot of building work taking place in the immediate area around the hotel. We weren’t informed of this before our trip and it meant there was significant noise around the pool area for 6 out of the 7 days we were there, which did impact the relaxing atmosphere we were expecting. While the hotel markets itself as 5*, we felt it was closer to a 4*. In our room the wallpaper was starting to come away from the wall and some of the furniture looked a little worn and in need of updating. Another small but surprising point was that only two coffee pods per day were provided in the room, and any extras cost €2 each, which felt unnecessary for a hotel of this level. Despite these points, we did still enjoy our stay thanks to the cleanliness, great breakfasts, and the friendly staff. With a few improvements and better communication about nearby building works, the experience could easily match the 5* rating the hotel aims for.

Le manque de propreté, certains équipements étaient vétustes et poussiéreux. La poubelle des toilettes était même rouillée… Le canapé était sale avec des traces de graisse ainsi que certaines surfaces. Le ménage quotidien était à désirer car le sol était très mal nettoyé ainsi que les toilettes. Le pire ça a été le spa, j’avais jamais vu de l’écume dans un spa 😱 c’est n’est pas du tout hygiénique!!! C’était dégoûtant même! D’autre part certains membres du personnel étaient pas gracieux et pas du tout avenants… On était venus il y a huit ans et ce n’était pas comme ça… On est vraiment déçus et on ne reviendra pas. Le rapport qualité prix est très médiocre.

Loved the hotel. Great location. spotlessly clean and brilliant sea view from the balcony. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Decor was lovely Breakfast menu was a bit limited but perfectly acceptable. Layout of the dining room was excellent and the views were worth the trip all by themselves. Grounds were beautifully laid out and maintained.

Lovely quiet hotel for adults only. Ample beds around pool for size of hotel. It is perched on a steep hill with steps to negotiate if you choose to go to the beach area, but plenty of taxis if you’re not able to make return walk back to the hotel. The hotel has a very nice Spa Centre and a panoramic restaurant with views over the ocean. The only point I would like to make is that sealed bathroom doors in the rooms are needed and hotel needs to address this urgently. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, ESPECIALLY Taña from restaurant and bar area, she always had a smile for all guests and nothing was too much trouble for her, she was always very helpful. Thank you!

Quality, arty, sophisticated and cool - very nice hotel fantastic breakfast setting on the roof, great quality food, good location to walk to many local bars and restaurants, we highly recommend this hotels to adult couples

We arrived at ten to six in the evening. The only 2 to check in. We stood at the reception desk for a good 30 seconds before we were acknowledged. We asked if we have a drink in the hotel to be told the pool bar shuts in a few minutes… you can have your welcome drink tomorrow !! Not a promising start particularly for a 5* hotel. Similar service throughout the hotel. The next day we sat at the pool bar for lunch. We were totally ignored for 10 minutes so left to eat at a local tapas bar. The cocktail bar at night was always full. One girl doing her best to try and keep up with orders. Comments from other guests about how long they had to wait were constant. Lovely hotel. Not enough staff and dreadful service. NOT A FIVE STAR hotel.

We stayed in the junior suite on the 7th floor with seaview. Very nice suite, with a good bed and decent accommodations. No problems with sunbeds. 3 smaller pools. One of them were with salty water. The staff is very sweat and helpful. Pricing is what you would expect since it’s a 5 star hotel. Luxury plentiful

I think this was my 5th or 6th visit to the hotel - I consider it my winter home! The hotel is truly spectacular with the roof top restaurant and bar. The suites are exceptional and I particularly like the double outdoor daybed on the rooms terrace. The staff always go above and beyond- nothing is too much trouble - I really consider them all as friends.

The hotel is stunning, the staff so far some really good, some very negative to issues. Had issue with jacuzzi on arrival being told we had to fill it ourselves meaning arriving and 1hr filling it ourselves with scolding water then we couldn't use it for at least another hour. Then had issues with cleaners not cleaning the jacuzzi and it didn't keep warm like normal jacuzzis and needing to be topped up daily. Numerous complaints not dealt with and for the record I am not a complainer I just want what I paid for.

Amazing hotel couldn’t do enough for us

Given that I use tripadvisor reviews to decide on which hotel to stay in, I thought I should write about our recent trip to this amazing hotel for other people to know just how fantastic it was ! Its location was spot on, as very near the beach front and promenade, yet far enough away to be quiet. It was a boutique style hotel with incredible attention to detail, wonderful artwork and styling and exceptionally clean. There were staff constantly ensuring the pool areas and outside areas were clean and free of leaves and debris. Our room was freshened daily and topped up with lots of bottled water and fresh towels . There was a lavazza coffee machine which allowed me to have a delicious coffee on waking each day. The rooms were quiet with no noise from outside areas or neighbouring rooms. The service was efficient and all staff were very helpful and could not do enough to help. We caught the names of Fatima in the restaurant, and Grace as just two of the staff who made us feel very welcome. The two pool areas were clean and peaceful , there was never any issue getting a sunbed and the different styles of sunbeds available was lovely! The breakfast was fresh daily, incredible choice with special orders for eggs / bacon etc which is far preferable to the common breakfast buffet where the eggs and bacon get congealed and horrible. The 360 panoramic views were incredible and often the glass doors were opened so you felt like you were eating outside. It was just stunning. The pool bar served delicious food and lovely drinks and the roof top bar was always buzzing with entertainment, music and a lovely vibe . This was our first holiday away without our children who are now at University and so staying in an adults only hotel made a huge difference and we had the most relaxing week in the sun at this beautiful stylish incredible hotel. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

My second stay at this hotel. Booked the Sky Suite via a BA Holidays offer which was huge and had sea and dune views on two sides. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful and created a really welcoming vibe. Hotel kindly let me store my bicycle in the room (which usually isn’t allowed). Breakfast was great in the sky restaurant with barista coffee a la carte menu and sunrise sea views. Also ate dinner there and in the bar. I preferred the daytime bar menu as it was simpler. Pool area gets a little busy so I went there later in the afternoon. Overall, a great stay.

Third time used this hotel. Very friendly staff. Clean comfortable room with a sea view. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, good service and an amazing view. Slight reservation about evening dinner, quite expensive compared to local restaurants and menu not entirely to our personal taste. We stayed half board for flexibility. Excellently positioned hotel with good amenities.

Our first time at this hotel ( and the last). We are trying to find a small, boutique, adults only hotel in the canaries due to the convenience of a four hour flight and the reasonable certainty of the weather. We thought we had found a cracker in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote (and will be going back there next trip) but thought we would give the Bohemia a try. We arrived at just about six o’clock in the evening and were told we couldn’t have our welcome drink as the pool bar had just closed. How difficult it must be to go to the other bar I can only guess. After a shower and change we went for a wander and eventually found a local Tapas bar (Los Porches) a 4 minute walk away. After some super food and wine not to mention lots of smiles and great service we headed back to the roof top bar at the Bohemia which was busy and severely under staffed. We sat at the bar where a young lady named Paula was doing her best to keep up with drink orders while another chap ( I think his name was Jose) was running back and forth trying to take orders and deliver drinks. As we were sat at the bar, Paula managed to somehow fit in our drinks between everything else she was doing but there were several people walking in complaining that they had been waiting nearly an hour to order drinks!! The bar is understaffed and you have to wait a long time for a drink even when sat at the bar. The pool bar is no different, long waits to order drinks or food, that is, when the staff can be bothered to acknowledge you. The food is at best average and in truth not a whole lot to choose from and over priced for what it is. How this place got 5 stars is beyond my wife and myself. A solid 4 yes, but 5, no. Our room was clean and tidy but the tiling around the flush mechanism for the toilet looked as though a 5 year old fitted it. There is no staff uniform so unless they are behind a bar you don’t know if they work there or not. A mixture of different colour trousers, shirts, trainers and even a denim jacket. The area where the hotel is situated is VERY clean and quiet, we constantly commented to each other how peaceful and clean the town was.

We had a wonderful 8 days at this fabulous hotel suites spa , words don’t describe how amazing the staff are from the reception dining room, pool areas kitchen and cleaners, everyone without exception were happy helpful and caring. The whole hotel was exceptional.

This is generally a good hotel with nice rooms, good facilities, and great staff. However, on 14 February the hotel allowed external people to use the pool area. While I briefly went for a run, my belongings were removed from a gazebo by the pool and taken over by people I didn’t recognise. I had to find another place - nothing was available by the pool. When I complained, the hotel did not apologise and only said, “Next time we will keep an eye on it,” which suggests this is not unusual. St. Valentines day was ruined

Pretty central location, staff were friendly, our room was garden view with plenty of equipment. Hotel was very clean, pools and restaurants lovely. We stayed for a week and would definitely recommend this hotel. Spa treatments were great.

Only one thing fell short of expectations, the jacuzzi at the pool. It's too cold to be of any enjoyment. I asked for warmer, but it didn't change. Other guests, when I asked if it was warm said "a little". It's the only miss in an otherwise amazing hotel. The housekeeping staff are first rate, and every corner of the hotel and room were immaculately clean. The staff were, all of them, incredibly friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Hadi who welcomed us every morning for breakfast and ensured we were REALLY enjoying ourselves. Front desk staff, all of you, super nice. The gym is also exceptional. New equipment, spotless. Wish we could have this experience everywhere. Finally, we rarely eat breakfast, but these were so delicious, and the views and service so nice that it was a highlight of our week. We also appreciated the art gallery and pool bar food. Well done.

This is our second time at Bohemia and it gets better, from superb vista at breakfast to the great amenities such as the spa, gym and massage Our suit is I think one of the best (607), it give you a marvellous view of Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas, the sunrise and sunsets are great The 360 cocktail bar on the top is a real feature, though we don’t drink, mock tails and coffee are served We came for three weeks this time we are looking to come for four next time, it’s so good to chill out and recharge, even the music from the beach area seems to be part of the atmosphere

Excellent stay at Bohemia Suites and Spa. Enjoyed the whole experience, our junior suite room, the food and the friendly staff.

We stayed here for my wife’s birthday. Every element of stay was excellent. The staff are all really friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to make the stay good. The room was kept immaculate and was a good size, with a lovely balcony. We ate in the 360 restaurant, this too was excellent, both the food and service were wonderful . The rooftop bar had great entertainment on and again the service was great. The food at the poolside bar was also very good. We will definitely be returning.

We enjoyed the facilities at the hotel & the terrace bar & pool. The staff were exemplary , polite , helpful , friendly & well informed. Our only criticism is the level of music around the pool. It makes trying to relax or read difficult at times

The Bohemia Suites and Spa is a 5* rated hotel in Playa del Ingles, very conveniently situated for access to local facilities and just a 5 minute walk from the beach. The welcome at the hotel was friendly and efficient, and we were very pleased with our room even though we opted not to have a sea view in order to have a deluxe studio with a kitchen so that we could cater for ourselves in the evenings. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Noise levels were generally very good - we could hear music each evening from the bar, but that finished by around 10pm, and although some neighbours constantly allowed their doors to slam this wasn't the hotel's fault, just inconsiderate people. In addition to a king size bed the studio had a double sofa and fully stocked kitchen which included a full size fridge freezer and a dishwasher, as well as cutlery, utensils and pots and pans so that we were able to cook for ourselves - this was made even easier due to the close proximity of several supermarkets. Hotel facilities were excellent - we always found room to sit by the pool if we wanted it, the gym was very well equipped and the overall look and feel of the hotel was very positive. The 360 restaurant is superb. Breakfast was served there each day, affording excellent views over Maspalomas together with excellent food and extremely friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and we were always greeted with a friendly smile, especially from Fatima who was always cheerful. We dined in the restaurant on one evening and weren't disappointed - the food was excellent and service was attentive without being intrusive. Our only "complaint" (more of a suggestion for improvement for the hotel) relates to the bathroom in the deluxe studios. Usually we book a room with a shower, but as we booked a deluxe studio only baths with a shower over were available - this would be fine, except that the shower is a simple mixer tap, meaning that whenever you shower you are alternately scalded and frozen as other guests in the hotel turn taps on and off. I would strongly recommend replacing the mixer tap with a thermostatically controlled shower over the bath in order to improve guest comfort (and safety - it's not fun being scalded whilst showering). We would happily return to the hotel and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Gran Canaria.

We could not fault anything about the stay. The hotel was perfect for a nice quiet week, perfectly situated to get out and about. The facilities were excellent along with all the entire friendly and very helpful staff. The food was delightful and it was no trouble to tweak your meal the way you preferred. I cannot fault this hotel at all and look forward to returning one day.

Bohemia is great…. Beach views from the amazing 360 restaurants for breakfast which is wonderful and evening meal with rich food after cocktails outside. The hotel staff from reception to housekeeping and waiting staff was amazing and made us feel special.

Nichts was von Bedeutung wäre. Einzig der Ort Maspalomas ist gegenüber Las Palmas oder vor allem Puerto de Morgan nicht so prickelnd wenn man zB in einer Fußgängerzone beispielsweise bummeln und shoppen möchte

I stayed at this property over New Year’s Eve and left feeling impressively unwelcome for a “luxury” stay. The staff’s energy seemed laser-focused on everything *outside* the hotel: the spa, restaurant, hairdresser, pizza stand, while actual hotel guests felt more like background extras than the main event. At check-in there no attempt to explain the property or its services besides asking me if I had pre-booked the NYE dinner; I was essentially handed a key and an envelope while the team prioritized walk-in visitors for the other businesses. Overall, I’d rank this in roughly the bottom 10% of hotel customer service experiences I’ve had given the fact it’s a luxury hotel

Uns gefällt das Hotel, weil es sicherlich eins der besten Hotels auf Gran Canaria ist und wir kommen seit Jahren hier hin. Die Lage ist prima und es gibt ein gutes Restaurant. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Servicepersonal.

Mittlerweile merkt man schon, das mal wieder umfassend renoviert werden könnte. Das sind kleine Details wie Fussböden, Tapeten. Spiegel, Möbiliar... Für den Anspruch ein 5* Hotel zu sein, muss man sich hier der Erwartungshaltung der Kundschaft stellen. Das Frühstück ist ok, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels dieser Kategorie eher unterdurchschnittlich. Die Fahrstuhllogik das immer nur der linke Fahrstuhl funktionierte habe ich nicht verstanden. Das ist teilweise zu Hochzeiten etwas nervend. Nach meiner Wahrnehmung und im Vergleich zu anderen 5* Hotels, die ich (wir) regelmässig nutzen, ist es aber eher ein 4* S Hotel.

I experienced a super comfortable stay at Bohemia Suites & Spa and was particularly impressed by the extraordinary friendliness and professionalism of the entire team - from the reception to the restaurant service. Every employee was attentive, cordial and always committed to making the stay as pleasant as possible. You can feel that hospitality is really lived here. The hotel is in an excellent condition: modern, stylish and absolutely well maintained. Both the rooms and the public areas are spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. The pool area is quiet and inviting. A highlight is also the roof top restaurant with its outside bar. The food is as fantastic as the view. The management deserves special praise, which apparently attaches great importance to quality, service and atmosphere. The result is a hotel where you feel comfortable from the first minute

Wow, Wow, Wow. Just back from a 10 day break to Maspolomas and my third visit to the location. Having previously stayed at two other 5* hotels i made the decision to try the Bohemia Suites following searches. Booked a Junior Suite with Sea View through Jet2 and enquired when we arrived if we could upgrade to a Corner Suite which we did. I have had the privilege of travelling over the globe with my previous career and still do so in my current role and stayed at many of the worlds best Hotels some at £1500+ a night. I can say undoubted this was probably the best room i have stayed in for what it offered and the sea view whether looking out through the open patio doors when the sun comes up or when sitting with my partner in the roll top bath as the sun sets and the night lights up with the moonlight over the sea ( Check out the rooms). What made it was the Staff who were very attentive and wonderful throughout making a personal affair. We went half board, the breakfast we both thought fabulous with a large choice however, the al a carte menu was unbelievable, and despite eating there 8 nights out of the 10 we were never disappointed with any of the meals. The Cocktail lounge i think has the best views of the town on the 8th Floor as the restaurant and is laid out for very comfortable evening relaxing with changing music entertainment most evenings. It was very hard to drag ourselves away and we can’t wait to return back as soon as opportunity allows. I can thank the Bohemia team enough.

Lovely welcome drinks and champagne in the room low key 5star hotel 2nd visit this year. All staff from front of house to the maids very pleasant and helpful a credit to the hotel. Location good for us as regular visitors to GC. Atmosphere spot on with no noisey corridors or areas of the hotel to mention rooms spot on would have liked a few more hanging hooks in the bedroom for dressing gowns etc. Food choice at breakfast perfect service nothing too much trouble. Perhaps a little better choice at the poolside bar range of pizzas tapas dishes etc. A little disappointed in the entertainment on the roof top lounge this time nobody seemed to know what was happening on anyone evening was much better in April. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel one without the stuffiness of some 5 star hotels. Thankyou to all the staff we will return.

Really couldn’t fault this hotel. The moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, very friendly receptionist and offered a drink as we checked in. Room was perfect, comfy bed, brilliant shower, balcony, great amenities. All the staff were so friendly and helpful in every area. New sun-beds arrived when were there which was lovely to enjoy. The pools were heated and a pleasure to swim in at this time of year. Breakfast was AMAZING, and again the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and they remembered our coffee orders and other preferences every time. The food at the pool bar was great and the restaurant in the evening was superb too. We loved our 10 days staying there and will definitely be back.
