A 4 out of 5 star Rating... Breakfast Spread is good. Rooms are spacious but little old. Mr Manan was kind enough to check us in 2 hrs earlier than the scheduled Check in Time. Great location in Koregaon park, Pune.

First of all, the hotel did not give me the category of the room I booked. When I asked them they lied to me. The room was just filthy with shower not even operative properly. The hot water electric kettle was leaking and I just missed getting eletricuted. The moment I turned on the kettle there was huge spark and I just missed it. When I told the front desk they just said sorry and said that they would change the room next day. Switches were loose and out of their sockets. Corner lamp had broken and open wires. Had I put my foot on it I would have got a shock. Pillows smelled as if they were already used. I had to sleep on the sofa for one night. The next day they offered my a room on the 7th floor. I noticed that there was no bed sheet on the mattress. They had directly pulled a quilt to hide this. The restaurant offered peanuts which were served to somebody else. The restaurant denied this but when I showed them the proof of some peanuts crumb inside the bowl they had nothing to say. Instead they offered we chips which were damp and very chewy. When I yelled at them they started asking me if I wanted something else. Chicken sausages kept in the breakfast buffet smelled awful. To hide the smell the sausages were fried and onions tossed. But the stale smell remained. On the whole staying in Crowne Plaza Pune City by IHG was a nightmare. When the hotel changed my room I called the front desk telling them that I had left my medicine in my earlier room which was in the mini refrigerator. Just to get the medicine to me in my new room, I had to make 8 calls. Again they lied to me telling me that the housekeeping is on his way to give it to me. I waited and waited. I again made a call and they told me that the person is in the elevator coming up to my room. There was nobody for the next 30 minutes. Finally, I had to go to the reception and asked them several questions. They sent a staff with me to the room and I found the medcine still inside the refrigerator. Pathetic !

Not a single thing. The property is just spoiling the brand name - Crowne Plaza !!

Nothing!!! It’s falling apart. I had to change my room because it wasn’t clean, the 2nd also airconditioner wasn’t cooling well.

The front desk staff don’t know her name after requesting for a non smoking room she blankly denied they were on full occupancy, after I complaining about the room after 15 mins, I got a non smoking room, when confronted she wasn’t replying, I will have to think twice before booking for CROWNE plaza in future

All equipment in the fitness center was broken. Bathroom in my room was not clean. Towel bars were broken.

The breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

The room was quite small. Most of the wooden furniture was worn out, damaged, and not properly maintained. The carpet was unclean and had an unpleasant smell. Additionally, an offer that was displayed during the booking process was not honored by the hotel.

The location and the room were nice. Breakfast spread was excellent with good service.

Pool wasn't operational, the TV remote didn't work. The room and corridors smelled foul.

The property is scntrally located and that's the only plus.

The facility itself is crumbling. The carpets smell. The staff is not supportive (most of front office staff is junior and don't know how to interact with guests). The room i was allotted was reeking with cigarette and alcohol smell (i had asked for a non-smoking room). It took me 40 minutes to talk to reception and get the room changed (the staff stopped taking my calls after first two calls).

2 incidents Both during dinner and breakfast buffet I was bumped off my seat as I went to refill my plate. I called room service twice and requested for drinking water and even after 30 mins they did not send any. Then I had to call reception and make the request. They sent the water immediately

Suhail from the reception was extremely rude, unwelcoming, misbehaving and I even told him I did like to speak with the GM but he refused. Extremely disrespectful and terrible experience. I won’t be coming to back to this hotel literally due to this behaviour of his.

Breakfast was solidly average. Lots of items - most of them were more miss than hit. The only thing consistently good was the masala omelette/tea. There was a generally unpleasant odor in the 5th floor close to our rooms. Looks like one of the areas was an interim dumping ground for the cleaning staff. A/C kept making some kind of noise, disturbing sleep. The location is great, and the staff is in general helpful. Would chose a different property the next time I am in Pune.

Property is not worth the money and should not be in the category of 5 star for sure. Rooms need cleanliness and too much filth seen in the room. Hygiene is big concern and dirty marks on the walls, loose fitting of washroom, torn blinds in washroom, green muck. Most disgusting was the oil mark on the back of bed, which was clearly visible. Staff is too slow to respond and too busy to cater to guest either reception, room service or even the security officer at the gate.

The property has significant dampness issues and does not meet hygiene standards. There is a noticeable odor, and the quality of bath and hand towels is below expectations.Additionally, the food quality is quite disappointing.

Extremely disturbing experience with staff behavior. There were instances of harassment, intimidation, and inappropriate conduct towards me and my friends. The staff created a hostile and unsafe environment, which is completely unacceptable for a property under InterContinental Hotels Group. Despite raising concerns, the situation was not handled professionally, and there was no sense of accountability. This is not a service issue it is a serious misconduct and guest safety issue.

The physical property looks decent at first, but any positives were completely overshadowed by how badly the stay was handled by staff.

This stay was deeply disappointing and disturbing. Over the course of my time here, staff behavior was not just unprofessional but actively hostile. There were serious issues involving intimidation, abusive behavior, and conduct that made me and the people with me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. What makes it worse is that this did not feel like one isolated misunderstanding. The overall handling of the situation reflected a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect for guests. For a hotel operating under the IHG and Crowne Plaza name, this was shocking. Guests should never have to deal with this kind of environment. This was not a minor service lapse or a small inconvenience. It was a serious failure in staff conduct and guest treatment, and it left a very negative impression of the property.

The property itself has a decent exterior and the brand sets a certain expectation, but the stay was overshadowed by serious issues with staff conduct and management handling.

My experience at this property was extremely disappointing. I had serious concerns with the conduct of staff member Ansari and the way the situation was handled by duty manager Manan Mohan Jandyal. Their behavior came across as unprofessional, hostile, and completely inappropriate for a hotel operating under the Crowne Plaza and IHG brand. What made this worse was not just the incident itself, but the lack of professionalism and accountability in how it was handled. Instead of making guests feel respected and safe, the experience became stressful and deeply unpleasant. This was far beyond a minor service issue and reflected very poorly on the standards of the property.

The catering staff were excellent, specially the manager & second in command.

No complimentary lounge access was there.
