I loved how clean and spacious the family room was. I hope they will add breakfast included deals. Good place to be!
Very friendly. We were upgraded to the Superior room due to a slight mix up that was easily resolved. Clean room, comfy beds no problems at all.
We were at the top floor so lots of steps but otherwise it was great.
The staff was very polite and the rooms view was beautiful
Location was great, staff was very accommodating and friendly and would love to stay here again in the future
Very good hotel. Basic will all essential. Bed was comfortable, toilet clean and all working fine. Very good position. Althought was in a very central area, no noize was disrupting my sleep. Efficient and friendly team
Location. Staff.
Lock on door didn’t work properly. Needed help locking it and wasn’t confident I would be able to do it myself. Handle falls off. Room 10.
Only option
Was a very rough place
Nothing good
Old, tired building, noisy environment, busy pop downstairs, booked with name and found the actual name of the hotel is different, very dusty, bad beds, couldn’t sleep all night
Staff where brilliant food was very good room was perfect and very clean very happy with my stay
Good location, closest to shops and restaurants. Clean room.
Lack of hand wash soap, bath soap, etc.
The location was excellent Staff were very friendly and helpful
Location
The stairs . Breakfast fast wasn't worth the the money False advertising on price for Breakfast .it's advertising on booking. Com for £6.95 yet cost over £ 10 each
The room was spacious and clean. The coffee at the restaurant was fantastic; we enjoyed it on the restaurant terrace.
Pleasant late booking after travelodge told us our room was unavailable, two pensioners no room many miles from home , thanks a million Alexandria
The room is fair. Clean and comfortable
The location was good, room clean , member of staff Donna pleasant and helpful. Didn't have any food so can't comment .
Just the fact there was so many stairs to our room and I have COPD and recently a nasty leg injury, which you weren't to know and i did book last minute and never thought to ask about a lift 😱 Having 3 teenage lads there wasn't enough for them to do in Llandudno and were bored!
Location is excellent
The location is excellent.
The room service wasn't done at all. I even asked the staff downstairs that our room has not been cleaned. They asked my room number but nobody turned up.
I didn't enjoy my stay. No value for my money
The rooms and the whole hotel it was way below my expectations
Close to my meeting venue
The hotel is very dirty No lifts to 4th floor with luggage Very poor reception Pictures not real Entry through a shaddy pub door Front door remained unlocked all night
In a good location with a car park across the road. We stayed in a family room, which was a good size with a comfortable bunk bed. The room was on the corner and had several windows with different views and made the room bright.
Only place to sit outside of the bedroom was their pub/breakfast room. Not very suitable for children. It did look as though they are decorating a lounge area with a bar which would greatly improve this hotel.
Breakfast was great
The stairs
A bit dated but ok for the price we paid
Nothing
Near beach
Very messy and no air conditioning.
Location
Needs refurbishing
We thought the location was absolutely perfect ! However my children with the stairs as were we right at the top . Lovely staff. Room was fine. Clean and exactly what you needed
The stairs to the room. No iron or hair dryer unfortunately but nothing more to say.
Friendly staff , central location.
The common areas, stair need an urgent refurb. Carpets and paintwork.
Right near the beach, right near the center, All staff members were really friendly and helpful Lovely breakfast with good prices Pet friendly We would stay her again
Nothing
no hot water,tv not working my kids need watching, room very hot and I pay quite expensive really not worthy
The location is good
The reception looks like a storage room it wasn’t so welcoming. The room wasn’t clean carpet dirty and dusty tops . No toilet paper in my room asked for it and got it later the next day had to buy one to use before getting one from the hotel
nothing

Staff very friendly and location was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and after all day walking? Had the perfect night sleep. Staff always on hand and always smiling. :)
Na
No enough milk for coffee, no hanger for clothes
They gave us on top room with kids . No lift
Very clean and very tidy place. And Tv was a good touch as well plus the toilet was clean overall I enjoyed it
The bunk bed was very squeaky and it was a pain to climb the stairs all the way to the top of the building I was worried on how to climb the stairs😂
Close to the beach
No enough water in bathrooms, no iron,
Very dirty and unorganised I will never book this hotel anymore in my life time.
Very very dirty and unorganised and unprofessional I will not recommend to anyone to stay in this hotel and I will never book this hotel again
The reception was very dirty looks like you are getting in an abandoned building. And then there is no running water in the room. Cannot take a bath and can not use toilet.
The location
Location was very nice right by a beach.
The beds were not nice, with a very squeaky bunk bed and a broken singular bed that they replaced with a tiny sofa. There was also no lift and hot water was not working.
Nice big family room. Good central location .
Feels a it old and dated - needs an update Furniture in yeh room felt a bit cheap .
Was located close to my conference
-Water there was no water to shower this morning had to do strip was.Can u improve on water system. No cleaning services. -The reception was poor compared to other hotels. -The welcoming of guest personally was not happy

Its near the beach
I was in the top floor and there are so many stairs. I came during the heat wave and theres no electric fan available. It was really hard to sleep
The location was really good and plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Very close to the pier which was ideal! Staff were lovely and very helpful.
The stairs we traveled with a person with mobility issues and they really struggled going up as there is no lift. 35+ stairs to get to our room. The bathroom needs a revamp the shower cubicle was not fit for human use, I am a bigger women but I wouldn’t say I was huge and getting in and been able to wash properly was a major problem! The locks on the doors were faulty and often kept getting jammed if I needed to leave in an emergency I’m not sure that would have been possible. No hair dryer or iron in the rooms. Beds were very uncomfortable! Carpets were heavily stained, with this being a dog friendly hotel I don’t think carpets are the most hygienic thing.
Location
The state of the room and the hotel are not up to standards, both felt old, broken, ugly and not properly maintained. My shower handle was broken, my window was broken too and fixed with cheap tape. The room was not properly clean either with a few stains in the bed sheets and a dirty shower. For the amount of money they ask for the rooms, I was expecting at least to be comfortable and clean, cost quality ratio wise it was awful.
The bar and staff
No lift, 82 stairs to my room parking at a premium Dont know what was new 8
Very clean and spacious room.
Too many stairs
Nothing
Stairs only and no lift for older people , Dirty Smelly Carpets, Dirty Reception area no where decent to relax in the facilities.
Always enjoy staying here. Staff are friendly and bedrooms are clean and comfortable
Near to the beach & town
When I arrived, I was shown a room with a view of a back street. I asked about one at the front, as there had been no option to choose when I booked and I'd paid almost £100.. I was told no front rooms were available but they would let me know if that changed. I soon found the room way too noisy, as there were boy racers revving at traffic lights outside the window. I went down to reception, only to find it all locked up. A notice said it was open til 7, but this was 5.40. I tried a few times over the next few hours but it stayed locked up. I'd noticed my room door was open when I was shown in so I knocked on a front room door then tried it. It was open and made up, at 9.30 obviously nobody was staying there - same with all the other front rooms I checked, so I'd been lied to. Overall not a good experience at all.
I had a wonderful stay at Alexandra Hotel. After a long journey, I was very tired and just wanted to rest. Unfortunately, the toilet in my room wasn't working, so the team moved me to a beautiful corner room with stunning views of Trinity Church and the sea. What could have been a disappointing start turned into one of the highlights of my trip. Thank you for your kindness and quick response. Llandudno is a beautiful place and those wonderful views from my room will always be one of my favourite memories of Wales.
Not sure what to write about liking the property to be fair, I think just the distance from the beach was good.
Just walking into the hotel was already a disappointment. The cleanliness of the corridors wasn't just poor—it was appalling. It genuinely looked as though the carpets hadn't been vacuumed for years, with pet hair everywhere and dirt throughout. On one of the floors, the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. Having to climb to the top floor without a lift was exhausting, especially as someone with asthma. At first glance, the room looked tidy, but a closer look revealed yellow stains in the bathroom, old windows covered in tape that let in constant noise throughout the night, bedding with random hairs on it, and a TV remote that didn't even work. This morning, I politely said "thank you" and "bye" to the lady at reception, but she simply looked at me and carried on walking downstairs towards the bar without responding. Unfortunately, that reflected the overall lack of care we experienced. We decided not to eat at the hotel's restaurant because the atmosphere and cleanliness put us off completely. On a positive note, the café next door serves a lovely breakfast. It's clean, welcoming, and the staff are friendly and smiling. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, and I certainly wouldn't return or recommend this hotel.
The location is excellent right in the center and close to everything including less than a 5-6 minute walk to the train station. Also, the bathroom was nice and clean.
was allocated room 12 and had to walk up quite a few stairs because there is no lift. It’s fine if you are young and fit, but definitely not for anyone who struggles with climbing. The property is also quite old the lobby carpet had a bad smell and couldn't open the window properly. Finally, booked a double and a single bed, but received a double and a bunk bed instead.
Good location
Dirty bathroom, no cold water for the shower, window blind was broken, dirty pillow cases.
Nothing.. it was nothing like it's advertised
There isn't any rooms in first floor, like they say there is,quite alot of stairs. They don't know what they are doing, and the bar area isn't that clean..
Everything .except the stairs
Great location, easy access to trains and busses and seafront and local shops and restaurants. Great views from the windows, 190 degree views, superb.
Climbing the stairs but we knew about them so it didn’t worry us. Worth the climb for the views. Tiny bit of mould forming on, ceiling, wall. Looks like a leak might of happened on the floor above.
Lots of steps to our top floor bedroom
The room was OK and clean. The Bathroom and shower was OK(but a bit on the small side)
As there is no lift having to go up and down about 80 stairs to my room(Not good when you have joint problems and/or are aged). No spoon to stir my drink. Didn't have the breakfast because I didn't want to walk up and down those stairs again.
Location great. Room amazing.
No glasses in room. No teaspoon. Totally wacky host..intimidating
The food
Disrespectful to us
Central position in the town and close to the beach. Good price. Room was a good size, clean and tidy. We had a view of Trinity Church which was lovely.
The property said in the details that there was a hairdryer in the room so I didn’t take one. However we didn’t have a hairdryer.
I stayed for 3 nights, hotel staff very friendly and nothings too much trouble. Room very clean and spacious. Bed was comfy, pillows just right for me. Bar downstairs, drinks at a reasonable price, food is served in the bar, very nice, tasty and well presented. Beach a 2 min walk from the hotel and just round the corner are the shops. I had a very enjoyable break and would stay here again 😃
If you have trouble walking up and down stairs this hotel may not be suitable for you as it as a lot of stairs to climb. Which I didn't mind.
Good location
Breakfast
Location The view from room 18 was fantastic The beds were just fine The room was very clean, bright and airy
No lift. 8 flights of stairs of various lengths The reception office up the first and longest flight of stairs was ridiculous. The small and grubby bar is your introduction to an ancient hotel in the second best location in Llandudno - what a waste. You need to be young and fit to face those stairs, neither of which would describe my 75 year old body
Nice friendly hotel in centre of town and near the railway station and bus stops. Lovely quiet room with comfy bed. Great little bar and fab food. Really good value for money.
The room was a good size and was convenient for the town centre and front. Booking in was easy dispite us only just arriving within the checkout time. Advice on car parking was good.
The room was really noisy the window were single glazed and the intersection and road were busy with vehicles and people at all hours of the night and day. The room only had one opening window so became very hot and stuffy without any way of letting a breeze in. The entrance served as an outdoor seating area for the bar and was difficult to negotiate. The room was clean enough but we had no house made service for our 5 night stay
Great location; 2 minutes walk to beach.
Could do with a thorough clean - dirty kettle, gritty floors, dirty carpet
Was clean friendly place
Nothing
In the town near station and beach.
The property has many stairs. Fortunately my room was up some flights I could manage.
Location
The beds were fresh and clean . A little old in all meaning of the word. Nice and bright great views. Some stairs ! So take that into account of any oler less moblie guest you may have. Dog freindly very clean from that point of view. But location is great you can see the beach and walk in 2 mins.
Stairs and old building inside.
La ubicación y amplitud de ls habitación.
El baño es un poco antiguo
Good location! Lots of parking nearby
It needs a really good tidy up especially the reception area. There was too many people chinning fags right outside main entrance and I had to ask people to move to walk my kids through their plumes of smoke ( I’m not sure if you have other outside space for a smoking area?) Some woman nearly took out our 4 year old with the door at the bottom of the stairs as we were entering our room due to our room being positioned next to a door that opens out. Breakfast does not start until 9 (this is just personal preference but we are all up having breakfast way before then)
Great location in town and close to train station. The staff are friendly.
There's no lift, so you must be able to do stairs. Im ok with that. The pillows were very hard, so I didn't sleep very well. My room was a bit cold as the weather wasn't warm Couldn't turn the radiator on. No hairdryer. A few details the housekeeping had missed. Mirror not polished, little coffee table dusty + gritty. Some skirting dusty. The room had a stale sweat smell on entering. I had to open the window for fresh air.
Hi it was the stairs to many to get to the room
The staff are so friendly an kind
Nothing was wrong with the hotel
The staff was nice and welcoming. Location was great and the sea was visible from the room.
Cleanliness in general was not great. No lift! Washroom in general need a bit of touch
food
the stairs no lift
Staff were nice but I had to send lots of chasers before I received my £50 deposit back for dog
All good places , breakfast, Room...
Nothing everything was fine
Central location and low price for central location. It was very quiet and didn’t hear any noise at all.
Older and dated decor which we expect for the price.
Very friendly atmosphere
Me turning up
We always stay here we’re in Llandudno love it
The location was about it the pictures on the site do not look like the hotel
It was dirty only 1 staff member covering reception and bar so took 20 minutes before some one checked us in the room had cobwebs and then toilet had not been cleaned as there was toilet roll in the toilet not flushed and a bottle top with sharp edges on the floor and I had my dog which could of cut into his paws when booking this was not told about a £50 deposit untill after booking and then say only small dogs this should of been put before booking very poor
The staff where friendly
Few to many steps
The staff were lovely after getting us in at short notice after we fled from Garden Fat 1 which was a horror house The room was lovely and clean and spacious The breakfast was very nice Very close for all activities and sea front
The stair we were in a top floor room no lift but would stay again and ask for a room on a lower floor Again extremely grateful we got a room at such short notice after getting my granddaughters away from that horror house which was Garden flat 1, They even advised to contact booking.com about the previous accommodation in regard to a refund but that is easier said than done booking.com
Spacious family room, most beds comfortable, great location, friendly staff
There's plenty of room for another bed instead of the bunk bed which was super squeaky. Also, the water from the shower was either boiling hot or cold unfortunately.
The bedroom was nice clean and comfortable for us. No toilet rolls in the bathroom. Had to ask twice. We had two tea bags. There should have been more.
The entrance was nothing to be desired. There were two large bags of potatoes at the bottom of the stairs and at the front entrance. The bar area was very old looking and the front entrance was not very welcoming. The check in office was very unkempt but the gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and polite.
Really old in dire need of refurbishment
The location
The 82 stairs we had to climb
Was checked in by Melissa who was exceptional! she was kept busy also serving at the bar, the two cleaning staff i encountered were also wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for anyone!
Too many flights of stairs, and because it's an old building noise from upper rooms was a bit of a nuisance
Location
Had to wait at reception
Very clean room .friendly staff
Great location and good value for money.
Television didn't work.
Nice place to stay
Right in the heart of town and the staff are lovely
