Outside and lobby were nicer and the check-in went better than I expected. I could not get auto check-in to work on the app. Location was close to pier and a decent deli around the corner.

The breakfast was served in a box, and it was awful. Coffee was not good. No juice. Fruit would have been okay 2 or 3 days ago. Pastry was sad. Sandwich was not bad, but I would not have chosen it given an option. Yogurt was fine, but husband usually doesn't eat breakfast. This would have been much better if served in bowls and platters giving the option to select what you want. Poor attendant looked like she was facing a firing squad. Some people were not happy, and she had no way to make it better. Had water running out of the refrigerator, which we reported, but they did not come check on it. Floors were a nice enough but did not feel clean.

La posizione è molto scomoda, si trova a circa 20 minuti a piedi dalla linea F della metropolitana. La colazione è abbastanza limitata, viene servito un sacchetto con toast o bagel e della frutta, oltre a uno yogurt che però va richiesto. Il problema più grosso riscontrato è la rumorosità dei locali. Siamo consapevoli che non è colpa dell’hotel se gli ospiti sono rumorosi, ma la stanza non era particolarmente insonorizzata e, inoltre, la porta lasciava circa un centimetro di spiraglio dalla struttura. Filtravano quindi luce e qualunque rumore.

Das Bett war bequem. Das Hotel liegt verhältnismäßig nahe am Cruise Terminal (ca. 15 Min zu Fuß), was ein Vorteil ist, wenn man z.B. mit der Queen Mary 2 ankommt oder abfährt.

Alles andere ist aber recht weit weg, man muss den Bus (ca. 5 Min. zur Haltestelle) oder die U-Bahn (ca. 17 Min. zur Station) nehmen. Bis DUMBO sind es ca. 40 Min. zu Fuß. Nach Manhattan ca. 1 Std. mit Bus & U-Bahn. Die Zimmer sind ok, die Sauberkeit ist aber nur oberflächlich. Es gibt keinen Schrank, nur eine Art Garderobe. Auch Haken sind nicht vorhanden, obwohl freie Wände vorhanden sind. Das Personal haben wir (mit Ausnahmen) als nicht besonders freundlich und motiviert erlebt. Das Frühstück besteht aus einer Tüte mit einem Bagel mit Frischkäse oder einem Schinken-Käse-Sandwich (beides recht pappig), Jogurt, Fruchtsalat, etwas Müsli und Mini-Schoko-Croissant. Zu trinken gibt es Kaffee, Tee und Wasser. Alles in einem kalten, ungemütlichen Kellerraum.

Hotel in rustige buurt, kwartiertje lopen naar de ferry en met een bushalte om de hoek. De kamers zijn schoon en prima. Elke dag schoon water en vriendelijk personeel.

Het ontbijt stelt niet veel voor, je kan koffie en thee pakken en verder krijg je een papieren tas met een bagel of sandwich, wat vers fruit en yoghurt.

It was more or less clean, though the towel wasn't.

The noise was just atrocious. Every hour after 8 pm there was someone playing a video game in the hallway. It was really disruptive and we all couldn't sleep well.. One of the towels want clean, either.

The room and bed were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for walking to the pier for our cruise.

The Lodge is a very basic hotel that is quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The price was good.

The breakfast has gotten worse since they started handing it out in brown bags. Last time we stayed there, the outside doors were open so there wasn't good security in that regard. We reported that issue to the staff, but when we returned the next time, the outside doors leading to the parking lot were still open.

So handy with a short walk to the ferry to get over to manhattan

Lokalizacja. Od metra 20 minut . Polecam wysiąść na stacji Carroll St, jest na pewno miłej, ładna okolica …. Można korzystać z autobusu , który jest blisko i dojechać do miasta. Wokół hotelu puste budynki i hale.

לא שווה את המחיר. מעבר לכך שהיחס והטיוח של המחדלים של בעל המלון אחרי שנפצעתי ממכסה חד וכבד שהיה בשירותים לא לפי התקן, הפתיע אותי ברמות ובמיוחד ההאשמות של בעל המלון במקום לקחת אחריות ולהתנצל, שלא לדבר על לפצות. יחס מחפיר!

הכל. החל בגודל החדר שהוא קטן ברמה מוגזמת ובמיוחד השירותים והאמבטיה. ארוחת הבוקר היתה מזעזעת. כל אורח מקבל שקית חומה שבה יש את מרכיבי הארוחה לפי בחירת המלון. יוגורט בטעם גויבה, מאפה מיניאטורי, קצת גרנולה, קופסה קטנה של פירות חתוכים... כל יום אותו הדבר. היו יומיים שצ'יפרו ונתנו בייג'ינג קטן והתוכו כבר מרחו לנו גבינת שמנת. לא היה אפשרי לקבל בייגל ריק. המלון במרחק של 20 דקות מהסבוויי. המלון גם לא ממליץ ללכת לתחנת הרכבת הקרובה יותר בגלל שזה מסוכן שם.

I was not too happy with the breakfast. If I would have known that it was a brown bag breakfast I would have not paid for it and went out to eat, other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Mattress too soft, only blanket was hot duvet, AC too noisy to sleep, breakfast was terrible. Staff in breakfast area was awful to customers. We have stayed here before and liked the breakfast which was served hot. A terrible ham sandwich on two hunks white bread doesn’t cut it!

Staff member on duty in the middle of the morning when we arrived was terrific after battling our way from JFK. Suitable accommodation before heading off to close by cruise port the next day. Happy with stay.

Brakuje sklepu spożywczego w okolicy. Kupony na śniadanie, posiłek spakowany w papierowe torby, w formie jogurty, gotowe kanapki, kawa, brak warzyw. Brak talerzyków na śniadanie. Jesz na chusteczkach. Brak wieszaków na ręczniki w wystarczającej ilości dla 4 osób.

Clean, Ina at front desk was wonderful. Room nice. Housekeeping daily without having to ask. Within 0.6 mile walking distance to Carroll Gardens where amazing food, shopping is located in a neighborhood surrounded by brownstones.

Breakfast was prepared and handed to us in brown bag. Would ask hotel to consider handing out vouchers for breakfast at nearby restaurants thus eliminating their precious resources.

The breakfast is given in a bag and everyone gets the same! Ham and cheese bagel, yogurt and pastry. I got a yogurt full of mould. People at the reception never even tried to help when asked for a dairy sandwich. They all said there was nothing to do.

Location right across from the police station was good. If you have a rental car, you actually will find parking on the block, so that was nice.

Rooms felt stark and empty. Not comfortable or nice in any way. Almost like a cheap motel. But the price was much higher than what you'd expect, given those rooms. Lobby also was totally lacking and like a cheap motel

The room was pretty clean but I had to clean the floor each day with a towel. I think they use some kind of Swiffer type thing but the towel was filthy. The hotel was quiet. We caught the subway in a very nice neighborhood called Carroll Gardens (15 min. walk). We also Ubered a few times. There is a cute waterfront area close with breweries. And locally, there is a burger bar near and OMG, what a gem of a place. I think is was the Ice House? That was my favorite place to eat in the whole trip.

I read about the breakfast when I had made the reservations. It was awful to say the least. I guess they had changed the breakfast this year. They have a nice kitchen downstairs but they were not making it. They were stale turkey sandwich on white bread and American cheese(which is not cheese). Like who wants a stale turkey sandwich for breakfast. Lame. A breakfast burrito would be a better bet for the cost saver that what they served.

Perfectly adequate clean room in the nearest hotel to the Brooklyn cruise terminal. This is a fairly basic hotel. They provide a packed breakfast should you want it.

We had to go to a local shop to buy something to eat as the local restaurants only seemed to serve fried food. It is situated in a dock land area.

The service is just not there at all!! I got no help whatsoever in any of my inquiries which were only about the breakfast. The breakfast was obsolete, we asked for dairy only. We were granted for it one morning only after getting a yogurt full of MOLD!!!! The pictures show a bar of food, we didn't expect too much but why didn't we have the chance to get a dairy only sandwich for the whole stay, 5 nights!! The location, it's a quiet neighborhood but the train which is the main means to get to anywhere in nyc is rather far and I would have found it difficult to do if it were just my daughter and I.

The room was very clean and bathroom was fully stocked with towels just how I like it. they also had extra shampoo and conditioner.

Terrible experience. We were charged twice for our room, and even after providing proof of the duplicate charge, the hotel refused to resolve the issue or issue a refund. The customer service was extremely poor, and the manager was unprofessional and unhelpful throughout the entire process. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. ZERO stars

Es un bed & breakfast, aunque no consumí el desayuno, si se trata de solo dormir y nada más si lo apruebo.

Los empleados de servicios no son muy amigables que digamos. El barrio es solitario; llegar al metro necesitas al menos 7 minutos. Es bastante básico.

The location is very inconvenient if you plan to rely on public transportation. There is only one nearby bus stop, and it only goes to Downtown Brooklyn. If you want to get to Manhattan, you have to walk 15–20 minutes each way to reach the nearest subway station or ferry. Our experience started poorly at check-in when the hotel tried to charge us an additional fee for an early check-in at 1:00 PM, which felt unreasonable. The property itself is old and poorly maintained. There is only one elevator, and it is extremely slow, resulting in long waits throughout the day. The breakfast was by far the worst part of our stay. It came in a bag, and even the staff member handing it out commented, "if you can call it a breakfast." Unfortunately, she wasn't exaggerating. The food smelled spoiled, and the yogurt had visible mold. This was completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about food safety. Overall, this was a terrible experience. Between the poor location, outdated facilities, slow elevator, disappointing service, and unacceptable breakfast, I would not stay here again.

The bed size is too small for 2 people. While the hotel did put the size of the bed (equivalent of 135-150cm width, which is less than a normal queen bed size), people do not normally notice it because rarely do hotels in US have such small bed size. The hotel should not sell the room for 4 people.

We love this place & have stayed here before. The location is great & the staff is always so kind & helpful. We have a grandchild at MSK so we will stay again.

The air conditioner in unit 405 is VERY noisy. We didn't try to change rooms but it was really annoying & needs to be looked at. We always enjoyed the breakfast but they now only offered a brown bag lunch . A turkey sandwich or an untoasted bagel is not breakfast to us. It's not a big deal but is was disappointing for our family.

Big, good, clean room. Clean toilet. Close to the ferry (12min walk) and to the metro (18min walk). Great to explore both Brooklyn and Manhattan without the fuss.

Not much to offer in the hotel itself (gym, pool, etc). The breakfast could improve - good yoghurt but fruits pre-cutted go bad quickly and not so nice sandwich. Neighbourhood seems safe at night but surroundings are too quiet to feel 100% confident with it.

The Location was good.

I was in town for a funeral never in my life have I stayed at a hotel that did not have an iron or ironing board in the room. When I contacted the front desk, Xavier indicated that no there are no irons in the room and they must be requested at the front desk. I requested an iron and they brought not one but two irons without an ironing board. Both irons were covered with black residue all over the iron and leaked. It literally was not usable. Then there was hair in the unused towels, the wall and the floor. For almost $300 for one night that is unacceptable!!! This property seemed more like a motel and definitely should not be $300 for one night stay under these conditions I was absolutely not satisfied and definitely not satisfied with the young lady who brought up the iron. Her attitude was not pleasant, almost as if I had the nerve to complain about the iron having black burnt residue in it. I do not recommend you stay at this property.

Great value for money and outstanding service! The hotel itself isn't high-end, but considering its rating and price, it’s absolutely great and well worth it. Pros: The hotel was very clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was good. The biggest highlight was definitely the service – the staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond with multiple deliveries we had sent to the hotel, and they even assisted us in returning a package that arrived late. Thank you so much for that! Bottom line: Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with excellent service at a fair price.

Things to consider: The breakfast is quite simple and basic. Additionally, there were no closets for clothes storage in the room, and the walk to public transportation takes about 10 minutes to the bus and around 15 minutes to the subway/underground.

良く無い点ではありませんが、周囲は倉庫街なので、ちょっと不安感がありましたが、バス停は近いです。メトロとフェリーが徒歩圏内です。クチコミで朝食に期待していましたが、紙バッグに入ったテイクアウト形式のもので、内容はともかくも、少し期待外れでした。

Het ligt wel wat afgelegen, er is weinig in de omgeving te doen. Ontbijt is zeer beperkt en eentonig, je krijgt een tas waar je eten in zit. Niet uitnodigend om te nuttigen in de daarvoor bestemde ruimte(kelder van het hotel).

The bathroom had moldy caulking and the shower faucet was messed up such that you could not adjust it to the temperature you wanted. I also noticed some crumbs on the desk.

Be extremely careful when selecting the room type, especially the “Cellar” room. We arrived and were shocked to discover that it was a tiny, smelly basement room, and we were then asked to pay an additional fee to move to an upper floor. Several other arriving guests also appeared surprised by the same situation, which made the booking feel very misleading. The breakfast was extremely poor, the rooms looked nothing like the photos, and basic facilities were missing. There were no cribs, no laundry facilities, and many services you would normally expect even from a basic motel or two-star hotel were unavailable. I genuinely do not understand how this property has a rating of around 8 on Booking.com or four stars on Google because my experience was completely different.

Although they advertise breakfast for which we have paid, it's literally only coffee and they simply give you paper bag with questionable quality sandwich meat sandwich, jogurt and a small container of fruit i assume from the can. It is in a commercial area. The whole atmosphere is unpleasant. Location is not far from Manhattan but that's about all.

Ook een wijntje op de punt Red Hook met uitzicht op de Lady is top en ga je lopen, lopen dan terug via het park vanuit Dumbo. Duurt ongeveer 45 min en park is top. Parkeren voor 25,00 per dag ook een pre en tegenover de politie, dus lekker veilig

Breakfast did not meet our expectations. For breakfast you get bag with some package of muesli, bagel with cheese or ham and cheese sandwich, fruite salad and fruite jogurt full of sugar. Was not possible to get additional slice of bread. We expected normal breakfast with more choice.

Personal freundlich, kurzer Weg zum Kreuzfahrtterminal, warum wir das Hotel auf der Hinweg und nach unserem USA Trip auf dem Rückweg gebucht haben. Klimaanlage war wichtig und funktionierte. Preis Leistung für Brooklyn in Ordnung. ein Kiosk ist direkt neben dem Hotel, ebenso hat das Hotel einen Automaten mit Snack und Getränken! wir kommen wieder, wenn wir mit dem Kreuzfahrtschiff ankommen!

Wybraliśmy hotel z uwagi na śniadania, które miały być polecane przez europejskich klientów. Niestety w międzyczasie polityka hotelu musiała się zmienić i dostawaliśmy wyznaczony przydział. Jeżeli to co dostaniecie nie będzie wam odpowiadało to warto porozmawiać z obsługą żeby coś wymienić. Kiedy poprosiliśmy o dodatkowy jogurt nie było żadnego problemu, bo pracują tam bardzo mili ludzie.

This is a basic, clean and quiet hotel. It is out of the way a bit, but we like the price. We stay there quite often when visiting Brooklyn.

Housekeeping didn't come to clean the room until late in the afternoon. Also, the breakfast has gotten a lot worse. Now, it's a brown bag thing with mediocre bagels which already have cream cheese on them. The previous buffet was much better with more choices.
