Rooms need updating. Too many stairs and lifts didn’t look maintained.

Loved it was on the beach and walking distance to sleepy Candidassa. The rooms were a small apartment with kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom. The place has a lovely little restaurant/bar with good value meals. Incl breakfast was great.

- Great location, right on the beach just as you come into Candidasa. Walking distance to many restaurants, spas and shops. - Fabulous pool area, really large pool with shallow end for children. Plenty of sun loungers under the shade, and never a problem to get one. - Apartments are clean, spacious and comfortable with comfy beds, a separate lounge area and kitchen, and 2 bathrooms (we booked a 2 bedroom apartment but our room actually had 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other 2 with king single beds. - Good air con and fans in every room. - Lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the pool and gardens, was a lovely spot to sit and relax. - Excellent breakfast, the best we had in our stay spanning 5 locations across Bali and Lombok. The pancakes were delicious. Breakfast included tea/coffee & juice, toast with jams, a plate of fruit, and then a choice of either pancakes, eggs, nasi goreng, or a chicken porridge which we didn’t try. - The staff were warm and welcoming, always helpful and attentive. - There is a restaurant on site with an extensive menu and very reasonable prices. We had lunch on our day of arrival and it was delicious.

We actually really loved it and had virtually no issues. The only feedback I would offer is to consider making the dining area non-smoking, or at least designate most tables (particularly the ones directly facing the ocean under the gazebo)as non-smoking. We were seated there for breakfast one morning and awaiting our meal being served, when a couple sat down at the table right next to us and lit up cigarettes. In our country (Australia) smoking is considered a very disgusting habit, and illegal in all places which serve food. We were there with our young children and would not tolerate people smoking near them, so we had to get up and move tables. So I would recommend that people are not allowed to smoke in the restaurant as it’s really disgusting and bad for other people’s health. The only other thing is that both times we visited the spa on site for a massage, we were turned away as they were too busy. This was disappointing but we were able to get massages down the road.

This was our first time in Candidasa, and we were pleasantly surprised. The Resort is in a very good location, and although the rooms are well-appointed, you occasionally feel that they are a little dated; however, this is not an issue in terms of the overall positive experience to be enjoyed. From the General Manager down, the staff are a pleasure to deal with, and nothing is too much trouble. We happened to be there on Independence Day and were invited to attend the Ceremony, as well as the many fun activities with the staff afterwards. There was a real sense of community and respect for each other. If you are looking at Candidasa as a destination, this Resort is well worth it. The breakfast was very filling with many choices. Other meals were quite good too.

In our room, the hot water took a while to come through; however, when it did, it was hot and plentiful. Vinyl couches took us back to the sixties and, honestly, would only be a concern if you were spending a great deal of time in the room.

Lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The standout of this resort is the pool and restaurant area overlooking the beach. Lots of lounges and shade. Music played two of the three nights. Lots of restaurants and shops 5 min walk away.

Bed could have been more comfortable especially the pillows.

Room was downstairs so convenient to the pool. The upstairs rooms had a different feel/ vibe. It was quite dark inside. Happy hour cocktails weren't that nice.

The hotel is in a good location easy walking into the town. The staff are fantastic always available to helo very polite and always smiling and our rooms was upgraded on arrival. As many have stated it is a timeshare hotel with many older residents, we had 2 kids and faced no issues the residents were all chatty polite and willing to help. There is live music twice a week, the pool is big and well maintained as are the grounds. We had a fantastic four night stay.

The mattress on the bed is worn out and needs replacing the AC was not very good but caused no major issues during our stay

The Room was spacious, big balcony with seaview, lovely gardens and large pool with enough sunbeds.

The shower water failed one time and was too low volume at times. Breakfast is menu based, which is ok until you have to repeat it every day. (For Asians, like my partner - there is no bidet hose in the toilet).

This resort is a lovely hidden gem, right on the sea away from the noise of theI would like to be able to refill my water bottle for freebusy road. The pool is huge and the view of the coast very picturesque. Located by the pool is the restaurant and Lulu does her best to make sure you have everything you need. Happy hour cocktails are available along with live music nights which finish before 11pm. Overall a nice place to stay.

Wow What a fantastic resort to stay and enjoy Located right on the water's edge Everything you ever needed to have an awesome experience The staff are so friendly and attentive Our one bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable which looked over the super large pool. The restaurant provides you with great quality food whether it be breakfast lunch or dinner with great live entertainment on some nights. If you choose there are some great restaurants within 500 mts. Great massages available within the resort Would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great time.

If anything the bathroom was a little tight.

Bali Palms Resort, was located in my opinion, centrally. Easy walking distance to warungs, restaurants and supermarket. Restaurants provided transport (pick up and return) free of charge. Staff were very knowledgeable regarding what was on offer. Live music provided at resort was fantastic. Prices quite reasonable also.

Great place to stay if you're ok with being away from the hustle and bustle of the central shopping areas. The staff and locals were great. Nice area, tidy rooms and the food was amazing.

Constant harassment to invest was mentally draining. The locals were of two extremes...Russian Bimbo's or Retirement Village elders.

In nearly all respects Bali Palms exceeded our expectation

We would have liked a second door key. We had to take great care to not lock ourselves out of the room.

What a great place! Fantastic location , quiet, clean and like a tuscan resort. Very peaceful with manicured gardens. The rooms are clean and have good facilities. I really liked the big balcony.

Staff lovely, helpful, respectful, polite and non intrusive. Location perfect on the water (not a swimming area) sea breeze beautiful. View from the balcony perfect for those early morning coffees waking up slowly listening to the bird life wake up. A good range of food and drinks at the bar and restaurant. Most of all the pool was superb. Large, cool and very clean. Rooms are a bit tired but very clean and comfortable. Sad to leave but hope to return

Clean and tidy. Good location in Candi Dasa relative to the best restaurants and shops. Breakfast overlooking the Ocean. Good sized pool. Included breakfast was great. Wonderful "community" feeling, everyone is made to feel welcome and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Я как будто попал в отель формата all inclusive 🤩 Классный бассейн, отличный ресторан с мега крутым и приветливым персоналом.( я как сотрудник топового ресторана в центре Москвы, могу сказать что сервис тут на уровне). Есть услуга массажа, прямо у бассейна. В целом можно никуда не выходить. Номер у нас был на втором этаже

Номерной фонд уже устал. Отелю больше 20ти лет. Сантехника и мебель местами расшатаны.

Manager and staff did everything we asked from them with a smile. The pool, restaurant and our breakfast was very good. We took the upgraded room offered by hotel.

Our last day of 7 at Bali Palms resort 🥹 & the staff have been absolitely brilliant. ATM restaurant & massage salon on site, reasonable local prices. Other guests friendly too. Laundry next door, fabulous Loaf Bakery across the road. Only a short walk to a selection of other restaurants, shops, convenience stores, more massage & beauty salons, bars, pharmacy etc After a minor fall off site the staff summonned another to assist my friend down the stairs & immediately relocated us to ground floor 2bdrm, 2bthrm unit, no additional charges.

It would be nicer if the towels were white not grey with age.

The atmosphere, pool, staff, live music and great food all made this place somewhere I'd absolutely book again.

The rooms are dated, floors dirty, bathroom cabinet doors all swollen and rotting from water damage, etc etc. The air-conditioning and door locks were both broken, but staff organised repairs immediately. Nothing that stops me booking again, and great price. But still, very far from great condition

We asked for a 2 bedroom apartment, for a couple + 1 child. We got a 3 bedroom apartment, but there was not double bed. Each room had a single bed or a king single (which is too small for 2 full grown adults). The kitchen was OK, but there wasn't really any cleaning equipment, so it wasn't practical to do much cooking ourself. The under cupboard were dirty and there was a hole in the drying rack section of the sink: any water there went straight in the cupboard underneath.

The breakfast was very basic compared to other similar priced properties we’ve stayed at. The staff were wonderful and were helpful and accommodating. We couldn’t fault the staff.

The level of cleanliness was terrible. I had to get a room change because the first room was so bad. Dark and dingy, windows dirty, gas bottle under sink leaking, surfaces dirty, dust everywhere. The second room was better with a great view but still not as clean as it should have been. I had to go over everything with my disinfectant wipes. It is a very dated, tired old hotel, the bathrooms are not pleasant and lighting in them poor. Photos on booking.com are years old and not at all relevant to how it is now. Very deceiving.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also good.

Our 2 bedroom apartment layout was very strange. We were a family of 4 that didnt mind sharing 1 bathroom. However, in order to access the 2nd bedroom, you had to enter via the bathroom. There was another way to enter the 2nd bedroom, but that required going outside and accessing the doors that way. During rainy season, using the outside entrance was not feasible. This apartment might not be suitable for travellers who are not comfortable with seeing each other using the toilet/shower. For Muslim families, dine at the restaurant at your own discretion as even though the staff say food is halal, there is no halal certificate and pork is on the menu.

The bedroom, washroom and toilet was spotless, ac working fine,, breakfast was decent, the pool was really clean as well. The staff were very friendly and polite.

The beach was not accessible, spring mattress

Нас поселили на 3 поверсі, з чудовим видом, але на 4 поверсі прямо над нами проводили капітальні ремонті роботи. З 8:30 ранку починали вибивати вікна та виносити стіни. Персонал нас про це не попередив. Поки не закінчать ремонт, туди не варто їхати
