Bayside Bungalows

Loved the pool area and restaurant. Food was very nice Gardens are beautiful. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Loved our spacious balcony on the the ground floor overlooking the pool.

Bathroom is outside and had to burn a mosquito coil all day every day as mozzie were present. Tiles in shower are sloped toward the basin area which made the whole bathroom floor very wet and slippery. Accident waiting to happen. Balcony door was warped and gard to open and close. Beer not cold but staff were very helpful and put them in the freezer for us on request and then they were perfect so that was a plus! The freezer door was broken therefore iced up and door would not even sit in place. We advised the staff straight away on arrival and again a day later hoping they would fix or replace it, however nothing was done and on checkout they tried to bill us for it.

We were offered an upstairs residence room instead of a downstairs villa as originally booked, The residence room has huge bedroom, a open plan living & dining area & a non functional kitchen, free filter water & overlooking the yards from the balcony, staffs are helpful

Unable to enjoy a decent shower as upstairs residence Water pressure is quite irregular, either too hot or water flow was very slow. No microwave.

We had an amazing stay here! The staff are lovely, as are the grounds. The owner, Alan, is very friendly and clearly cares about his guests' well-being. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. It seems that many of the guests are repeat customers, and this is a testament to the quality of service. We stayed in a bungalow, which was spacious and very comfortable.

Estaba alojada frente al mar y están en obras construyendo un paseo maritimo. La maquinaria empezaba a trabajar antes de las seis de la mañana y resultaba muy molesto. Hay que aceptar que pasen estas cosas, pero un hotel de esa categoria deberia avisar a sus cluentes de esa circunstancia.

The TV was not set up very well, they fixed it up by swapping the boxes over, when they say "flat screen TV" in Asia, sometimes it's not the entire package or just a App TV with You Tube only for free. There was minor building work nearby, so a bit of noise in the morning Also some plumbing issues in the sink, but they fixed it. I'd like to see free water re-fill more in Bali, not good having to buy water bottles all the time Probably a little over-priced for what you get and the restaurant was also expensive, so didn't go

We zijn hier nu voor voor de tweede keer geweest. We zijn hier goed verzorgd door het personeel. Zij zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze bungalow was erg ruim en schoon. Fijn zwembad.

Staff were lovely, the villa very comfortable, the towels were nice and thick. Location close enough to restaurants and shops.

First, we had the room above the bar, which was noisy and, at some stage, no water at all. The room needs an upgrade. We were able to change to a villa (Bayshore), which was much more comfortable. However, the infinity pool was dirty and very cold.

The pool and restaurant area were great. Good choice of food options for all meals. Breakfast was included and loved that the pool had the swim up bar. Could not swim at the beach. Lovely grounds.

We did not get the rooms we had booked and so two of us were upgraded. I was given a villa where the aircon didn't work. Thank heavens for fans. Friends were given a 2b/r residence where the mold was so strong in the main room they had to move to the second bedroom.

The staff were extremely helpful. It was a lovely tropical setting right on the ocean. The meals were very well presented and prepared.

Beautiful, stylish villas. We were upgraded to 2 bedroom villas. Very spacious. Breakfast included. Meals and drinks excellent. Pretty, relaxing grounds. Not much around when leaving resort. Beach view, but no swimming. Resort pool great though. Staff wonderful.

Everything about the property was fantastic. The bungalow we stayed in was magnificent a beautiful bali feel , comfy bed . The food at the resort was exceptional, value for money and the staff were friendly , helpful and easy to communicate with . The owner of the resort was also friendly polite and easy to chat with. Highly recommended. We will be returning

booked pool view bungalow for 1 night but was upgraded to a villa with sea view. villa was very nice and comfortable, wish I had booked longer. staff very welcoming and understanding of English good. breakfast also very good.wi fì OK . would definitely stay again but need transport to centre of town. restaurant across road good for alternative local food.

local sellers can easily get access and pester you. this could be a security issue as well.

We originally booked the poolside room - it was a converted sports bar located on top of the restaurant. The room had a nice outlook, although we found it was very noisy from the restaurant below, the fridge was extremely loud (we had to unplug it) and live music from next door channel straight into the room. We raised this with staff on arrival - we spent the night in the room and spoke to the manager the following morning. She was aware and facilitated a room change for us at no extra charge. We were much happier with the villa we moved to. Only downfall of the villa was a hole in the bathroom roof which flooded the bathroom..

We kregen een upgrade naar een ‘residence’ omdat onze eigen kamer volgeboekt zat. Dit was heerlijk! Gigantische kamer met 2 badkamers (waarom weet ik niet) eigen keuken en zithoek

We really loved our stay here. We actually stayed 1 extra night. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The price was fantastic. We were also lucky enough to receive a room upgrade to a pool view bungalow.

Beautiful complex, delicious breakfast. Turtle ponds instead of fish. The hotel has everything you need on your vacation - spa, laundry services, transport, restaurant on site as well as restaurants nearby.

Quite remote location so ensure you have everything you need because there are no shops around. Gojek or grab for shopping also doesn't work in that area.

Loved the exceptional service and friendliness of all the staff. Highly recommend the laundry service. Great quiet location, lots of great restaurants and things to do. We got a free upgrade from a pool bungalow to a residence with pool, which was amazing. The last three days we got another upgrade to one of the seaview villas.

In our residence and seaview villa were a few things that were broken and needed maintenance (broken door stopper, broken towel rail, broken handles of shower faucets) however it wasn't something vital that would stop us enjoying our holiday. We booked quite a few tours through the reception and we found that some receptionists were way more knowledgeable about tours, locations and prices than others.

They organised scooter hire for us. Stayed 5 nights & would have happily stayed longer, good location in Candidasa.

All the staff were very pleasant. It had a large fridge with a freezer. The laundry service is very good.

The garden view room had no garden view, and the wifi was rubbish. There was some kind of large animal living in the roof which continually woke us up, even after the staff were made aware if it made no effort to remedy it. The shower only dribbled water due to no pressure. You cannot swim at the beach in front of the resort. I know it is Bali, but there were just too many little things that constantly needed attending too which detracted from our holiday.

The gardens and grounds are immaculate. Sooo beautiful. And the pools are perfect. The daily breakfast was great and restaurant is reasonably priced. The staff are so accomodating and friendly. Made our stay very relaxing and complete.

Absolutely immaculately maintained and managed. Staff are so personable and professional. I had an overwhelming feeling of being safe while there. We met other lovely guests as well. Day spa with little shop was amazing.

We originally booked for 2 pool side bungalows and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment with private pool. Thank you. It was beautiful and comfortable with everything we needed. Staff were friendly and nothing ever a problem. Even going the extra mile with a nightly turn down service. I celebrated my birthday while there and received a surprise cake with candles. We expected to be a distance walk from the main centre but had everything near by. Yummy Warungs just out on the main road and fabulous coffee at loaf cafe across the road. The walk to town the main centre is a short 10 min stroll.There is also a restaurant at the hotel which we ate at serving good food. Breakfast was excellent. The view for breakfast is ocean views. Such a relaxing oasis that you never have to leave if you choose. We stayed 3 nights and would most definitely stay again.

The barista made coffee was undrinkable. A barista lesson for your staff in making coffee would be the icing on the cake for the perfect stay

Friendly and helpful staff who were very accomodating. Bayside is within walking distance of the many shops and restaurants of Candidasa but not to close that the road noise would keep you awake. The nightly turn down service along with a spray to ensure no mosquitoes in our room.

My personal preference would be to have a softer mattress. The resort does require a bit of a spruce such as painting, checking shower heads and drains. Downside for the Candidasa area is the lack of swimming beaches within the town.

The Drum festival that had 5 hours of drumming a day. We should have been informed this was happening as we booked Candidasa for a quiet time away. Owner gave us an hour massage per room but noise was still intolerable

From the moment we got there it was amazing! Staff are all so friendly and made us feel so welcome! The bungalows are beautiful and clean.

Free upgrade to a lovely suite with my own pool. The hotel grounds are so lush but not too big like some places. A lot of small details and a good mini bar.

Its a bit of a walk to anywhere but that’s candidasa.

Fabulous, well-trained, friend;ly and professional staff. Meals were superb; prices very reasonable.

Outdoor bathroom needs a bit of work.

Breakfast were superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful and very responsive to problems. The villa was a good size. The TV had a good selection of channels - when I finally got it working.

The pools (there are 2) look beautiful but aren't good for people who actually want to swim. Power points in the villa weren't well positioned. The bathroom was badly planned - the sink is positioned way too far back on the bench making cleaning your teeth somewhat problematic and there's nowhere to hang a towel close to the shower.

Internet reliability

The staff were all fantastic and couldn't do more to help you. The grounds were stunning and the pool was so good we spent many hours in it at all times of the day and night. The bungalow we stayed in #2 was perfect for us and we really liked the outdoor shower.

Spacious, clean rooms with excellent facilities. Regular cleaning and rooms sprayed for mosquitoes every night. Great pool with swim up bar.

We had booked bungalows but ended up in 1st floor apartments. These were above reception so very close to the busy main road, there was a lot of traffic noise throughout the night. Location is picturesque but exploring area on foot isn’t really an option, you can’t walk along the beach and it’s on a busy main road. Nearby food options are limited, too far for grab take away (60 minutes for delivery) so can either dine in onsite restaurant or easily get a grab taxi 5 minutes to places with more options.
