El restaurante también muy bien, variedad de platos y ricos. El personal es súper amable. Buena ubicación. Buceamos dos días con ellos y fue increíble! Si volvemos, repetiremos seguro.

El WiFi es malo y se corta frecuentemente, para mí que trabajo remoto me afecta directamente Estuve en 2 habitaciones, en una el baño ( la parte de la ducha) no estaba muy limpia ni mantenida. El desayuno tiene varias opciones, pero probé todas y la verdad no me gustaron. No probé otras cosas del restaurante, pero varios huéspedes solían comer ahí y el menú era variado. Al menos la comida en el desayuno era relativamente abundante, al menos para mí.

Reviewed Apr 4, 2026Slam’s Garden is perfectly situated only a couple of minutes walk from the ferry. Its in the middle of the village but peaceful. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The inside garden with the pool and the restaurant is very quiet and nice.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026The complex was new-ish. We liked the garden and proximity to the beach. The staff were friendly. There’s an on-site dive shop (Ocean Passion) so it made for a convenient early departure for the shark dive.
The room needs a bit of updating. Tip: replace the white fluorescent bulbs with yellow so that it doesn’t look so harsh. Also, the power went out a few hours over 2 days. Something to do with their circuit getting overloaded. Hope that gets fixed.

For the price, it's quality is poor. The diving was on the expensive side for the island. Three days diving and one night dive they charged me 17,500 PHP with my own gear, talking to some other shops they are about 4000php higher.

Tuvimos problemas con los barcos por temporal, y no salieron, nos tuvimos que quedar una noche mas y para el siguiente dia nos consiguieron uno privado que nos llevo en cuanto dieron el permiso los guarda costas y ya teniamos esperando el taxi en puerto maya para ir al aeropuerto.

Il personale della reception non molto attento alle richieste di informazioni. Colazione molto scarsa. Ci hanno fatto pagare 2 fette di toast extra del valore di alcuni centesimi. Vergognoso. Senza tenere conto del titolare sempre al cellulare nei tavoli durante la colazione, il pranzo e la cena.

Reviewed Oct 22, 2025Amazing stay We stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! The resort is super clean, they really make sure everything stays spotless, especially the pool area. The staff are all very nice, friendly, and always ready to help whenever you need anything. The location is perfect too , just about a 5-minute walk from the seaport and also close to the beaches, so it’s really convenient to explore around. The whole place feels peaceful and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. They also offer diving courses, which I definitely recommend trying! Huge thanks to my instructor JR for helping me unlock my confidence to dive such an awesome experience! The WiFi works great, which is a big plus. Overall, we had an amazing week comfortable stay, good vibes, and easy access to everything. Highly recommend! 🌴🌊✨
I honestly have nothing bad to say about the resort , only that the bath towels don’t really absorb water well. But aside from that tiny thing, everything else was perfect.

Reviewed Oct 1, 2025Все было отлично. Приехали на Малапаскуа понырять, акул-лисиц посмотреть. Отель предоставляет все необходимое. Вода нагревается в душе достаточно быстро. Напор слабенький, но это же остров - ковшик нам в помощь. Очень красивая территория, бассейн, ресторан. WI-Fi хороший. Попали в тайфун, лодки не ходили 2 дня. Продлили отель - аншлага не было. Дайв-центр хорош. Есть, конечно, подуставшее оборудование. Но, в целом, инструктор Нил, команда, лодки - все на отличном уровне. На фото - пляж после тайфуна: повалило несколько деревьев, поломало ветки, выбросило на берег и мусор и морских обитателей.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2025Super séjour chez Slam’s Garden Resort ! Nous y sommes restés une semaine en basse saison, c’était parfait. Les propriétaires sont super accueillants et de bons conseils, et Santiago est franco-espagnol donc il pourra communiquer avec vous dans les deux langues (en plus de l’anglais). Petit plus pour la piscine qui est vraiment très appréciable. Le jardin est également superbe ! Tout le staff est aux petits soins pour rendre votre séjour agréable. En tant que clients du Resort, nous avons eu des tarifs préférentiels pour la plongée avec le shop Ocean Passion. J’y ai donc plongé à 3 reprises (2 fois pour voir les requins renard et 1 fois pour aller sur Gato Island). C’était incroyable ! Le matériel est top, et le divemaster, Nell, connaissait les spots à la perfection. Sur le bateau vous avez le droit à des collations (veggie friendly) et à une serviette entre deux plongées. Bref, mon séjour était inoubliable, merci !

La habitacion un poco rara con la pica dentro de la habitacion pero estaba limpio todo asi que bien..Habian muchos mosquitos!!!

We upgraded to an aircon room the next day with free breakfast and coffee, worth it! The place is very clean and accommodating. Only suggestion is maybe add a TV in the room. Even though it rained in the afternoon and night, our stay was excellent because of the warm and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We did 6 dives as well, and we really enjoyed it except the last dive we did in Monad, just sitting on the edge looking out in the blue for 45 min and saw nothing. The chances are small to see the tiger shark, so I would rather dive another dive site.

Duiken goed geregeld met fijne duik instructeurs. Ontbijt heerlijk (tevens een goed restaurant!). De tuin, restaurant, zwembad alles wordt goed bijgehouden. Aanrader!!!

El restaurante del hotel con buena comida y muchas opciones. Tiene centro de buceo y la experiencia también ha sido muy buena. Si volvemos repetiremos seguro!!

Reviewed Apr 8, 2025I really loved this place. It’s cozy, in a perfect location, and very clean. It’s also super convenient that they have a dive shop inside the hotel. I really enjoyed the food as well. For early dives, you can pre-order your breakfast the night before, and they’ll have it ready for you. The staff is genuinely sweet, especially the ladies who work in the kitchen, they were absolutely lovely. I was very happy with my choice.

Aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Nah zum Hafen. Tauchen war auch sehr gut, Nel ein sehr guter Guide. Allerdings empfiehlt es sich, seine Wünsche und Vorstellungen selbst anzusprechen, wir wurden nicht offensiv angesprochen bzw. gefragt und eine Einweisung in die örtlichen Gegebenheiten und Abläufe gab es erst auf Nachfrage, dann war die Anwort stets hilfsbereit.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2025We stayed for. Week at Slam’s and had the best time. Resort is in a great location - close to everything. Room was really good - 1st floor overlooking the huge pool. Big balcony. Lots of rooms to sit and admire the view. Comfy bed, great shower, fridge, and great air con. The huge pool is amazing. The restaurant was great - delicious fresh food. Really enjoyed our breakfasts each morning. Slam’s were great in organizing our smooth t transfer from Cebu and then also onto Bantayan. Staff were really friendly and are what makes Slam’s such a wonderful place to stay. Special thanks to Emma who was so friendly and really helpful with suggestions of what to do etc. Slam’s is definitely the best place to stay on Malapascua. Can’t wait to stay again.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2025The people were kind, conversational and welcoming. The property was clean and well maintained. Their dive center (ocean passion) had new equipment, great dive pricing, and the dive masters were friendly and helpful.

When a guest arrives, they should turn on the air conditioning to give it a five minute Headstart. It would also be nice if they could help with instructions for making an electronic transfer using the Wise app.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2025We were very happy with our stay at Slams. Friendly staff, spotless rooms, good breakfast and a great and very useable swimming pool. We also dived with their dive centre, they have a large comfy boat and great boat crew, very happy with our guides, Jay and Jino and they offer very good rates. Not a criticism but 2 things I would change are, I would add more pool loungers and swap the existing ones for ones with adjustable backs and also while there was plenty of hot water, the shower head was useless and had to removed from the cradle and hand held to get wet.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2025Very beautiful garden setting, very good and affordable food and drinks at the restaurant. Nice and helpful staff. Clean rooms that can accomodite the whole family. Big pool good for swimming and diving courses. If you like to scuba dive, they offer all you need for that in the same spot. Very close to the port, 2 min walk. Children got scuba certified there, they had very good and patienced instructor. Nice divemasters and managers too. Great value for money, everything just worked out smoothly!

1. shower water was salty. don’t expect to bathe with clean fresh water here after your dive. you’ll be sticky the entire stay 2. staff weren’t very friendly or helpful. it’s like they did the minimum required of their job. 3. Not worth for the money paid. although i understand this island has a generally higher cost for everything.

Reviewed Feb 16, 2025Location was fantastic: just 2min walk from the port and 5min walk from most dive centers. The room was clean and the property was quiet. The pool was clean and restaurant by the pool was tasty for the island. I dived with another dive shop so I can’t comment on Slam’s dive equipment but it looked good.
The room was a little old & run down. The shower water was hot but the pressure was very weak. The bathroom towels barely dried you because have the consistency of a blanket.

We didn’t choose it as a diver centre because it was very difficult to get proper and clear information. However, regarding accommodation can only say positive things.

Charging for water, and I wanted to dive with their resort, but was some missunderstanding or something, so, no diving. Good luck I could find

Reviewed Jan 30, 2025I like the room per se, it was big and we can move around easily. I like as well the bed size, perfect! The cleanliness was spotless. We had room on our balcony as well.
I would liked a sea view.
