Não comemos café da manhã pois achamos muito caro. Um dos quartos não tinha frigobar e nenhum tinha secador de cabelo. O hotel não possui elevador, mas os funcionários ajudam! Sem nenhum problema grave.

I occupied unit 210 which has a basin that needs attention, no how shower caps and heating that was not working on a cold night.

Nice visuals and gardens are homely.

Phone in rooms don’t work, or staff are asleep. Too little water in room. I know water is not expensive but it is a hassle to drive to a shop at 3 in the morning because there is no water in room.

Beautiful building and setting, comfortable, close proximity to Sandton, very good value for money.

Convenience just off Rivonia Drive and close to Sandton; secure Parking; Friendly reception even at a late night check-in and very large and comfortable rooms beautifully appointed and decorated. Great value and always my go to when in Sandton, South Africa.

I booked here because of the baths in the room and guess what the bath plug was not working at all. It did not even close The room was not checked and the fridge was unplugged and waited 15 mins for someone just to come and plug it in. The bed was awefull as it had a huge whole in the middle where we slept as the mattress was old Paying R1735 for one night stay and no breakfast included as per the staff is ridiculous. Room 119

El hotel en sí es genial, desde las instalaciones, la comida, el personal. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas, con todas las prestaciones necesarias, partiendo por la televisión, escritorio, detalles como tener termo para hacer café o té. Baño con ducha y tina. El personal siempre fue atento, amable y dispuesto a ayudar en lo que fuera. El hotel tiene amplios jardines para disfrutar, piscina que si bien no usé por el clima, verla en el entorno era un placer. El hotel cuenta con servicio de van para 5km a la redonda, lo cual es sumamente práctico y útil. El desayuno es buffet, por lo que puedes comer a destajo.

La televisión un poco lenta debido a que es un poco antigua, pero cumplía con su deber.

Me quedé 6 días, es un hotel excelente. Con personal sumamente amable, instalaciones cómodas y espaciosas, es para no salir del cuarto. Buena comida con un menú bastante variado.

The wifi was unreliable, had to keep going to reception to connect, then back to the room. The electric towel rail didn't work even though we reported it to reception and maintenance.

It’s fair but not great for the an upmarket area

You literally pay R50 extra for room service, on the second day there were no clean towels and now water.

Ghe TV was buffering 90% of the time, very frustrating, please fix that.

Stunning location, beautiful to have the gardens it has in the middle of jhb. They offer a 5km radius shuttle which is such an awesome feature.

There isn’t great sound protection, so even someone walking in the corridor is very loud.

Room was neat, tide, was nice to have a Fridge in the room, the last 2 stays the room didnt have a fridge, when you stay a couple days you want something to put water and stuff in.

Shower head was spraying water all over the floor. The pillows were pathetic, when we asked for 2 more pillows, they shoved 2 pillows inside the other pillows, it didnt help. We needed a hair dryer that wasnt in the room, and when we called housekeeping around 7pm, they went home and there was no other person who could assist with more pillows or hairdryer. the phone in the room also didnt work, so we had to ask one of our c0-workers to call and ask, not good enough. Also the breakfast was sad. I remember the awesome croissants they use to make, and nice breakfast stuff, but this was a sad breakfast, i hardly ate.

Location, location, location. The location of this hotel is ideal for privacy and unwinding. Rooms are spacious and clean. We had all our meals in the room and enjoyed them. We have been to this hotel a few times and we really enjoy going here.

EVERYTHING. I always book Quartermain. It’s beautiful, clean, has friendly staff, and everything is close by.

Not my first time there & it’s still as good as ever. Only had breakfast which was very good indeed. Room very comfortable & location excellent.

The look and feel of the place, felt like I was outside of SA. Loved that very much, my favourite part of our stay.

No fridges in our rooms, apparently only certain rooms have these(this isn’t mentioned when making the booking). Horrible breakfast (very limited selection, same thing served everyday, not the best quality). It’s better to book accommodation without breakfast in my opinion. The staff at breakfast also, some weren’t professional.
