The rooms were a bit dated and could do with some updating but the cleanliness of the whole hotel was superb. Also, the sun loungers wasn’t the comfiest, apparently these loungers are new possibly better for storing in the winter months?

Un bel hôtel, les piscines sont biens et spacieuses. La restauration est basique mais bonne. Notre appartement était bien situé et grand. Parking sous terrain, service bagagerie top, ménage ++ tous les jours. Nous avons été surclassé!

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être encore mieux. Machine a pancake lente, plus de choix de jus de fruits, de charcuterie, fromage, viennoiseries fraîches. Piscines un peu fraîches et fermeture à 19h en période forte c’est tôt. Club enfant trop cher, ça devrait être inclus dans le prix. Manque d’animations en journée et soirée.

Não se compreende pagar quase 500€ dia e a água quente não chegar para tomar banho 2 adultos e 2 crianças, mesmo em modo poupança!!! As 2 vezes que ligamos a máquina de lavar louça tivemos inundação.... Falta de canais portugueses na TV.... A mesa da pequena varanda teve de ser calçada com papel para podermos pousar alguma sem entornar....

zijn daar vaker geweest en hadden toen andere kamer met groot balkon of terras, nu studio met niet echt comfortabele slaapbank en balkon zo groot als een postzegel, daar kon je amper met 2 pers op, dus dat viel tegen voor 4 pers kamer, maar voor de rest geweldig, komen zeker terug

Spacious apartment, really quiet with a garden/golf view. All was clean and tidy and everyone was really nice and helpful. The pools are really fun and the kids loved our days there. Such a nice experience, def coming back!

Les plats à emporter le soir qu’on peut commander au restaurant de l’hôtel. La cuisine de notre chambre est grande et bien équipée même si nous n’avons pas spécialement cuisiné.

Le parking extérieur devrait avoir des places à l’ombre si on a pas envie d’aller dans le parking souterrain.

I didn’t see much

I spent less than two hours in the room and left. The smell of cleaning products mainly bleach was overwhelmingly strong and caused an adverse reaction for my children. All the sofas were soaking wet too. The booking was non refundable and the hotel only refunded 50 percent, and refused to refund fully. I will never go back nor recommend it to anyone.

Just back from an amazing stay in The Four Seasons Hotel Vilamoura . From the first contact with Josias to book our stay, nothing was a problem. All of the staff in the hotel were fantastic and pleasant to deal with. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

We had such a wonderful time at this amazing hotel. We were helped in our reservation by Paulo. He was so friendly and helpful. All the staff are so amazing and we could not speak highly of this hotel. We will be going back again next year and we are counting down the days. It really is an exceptional piece of paradise. Lovely, clean, bright and really pleasant! The room was big and bright and really lovely. Reception staff excellent and helpful, as were the concierge guys. So lovely! My only criticism would be that the restaurant needed more staff - staff were fraught and wait times high at times. All in all though we would come back!

Great family resort. Accommodations are comfy and aircon is good. A few options regarding our half board plan were unclear however there are more options available than we thought so it’s definitely worth asking. Management were keen to improve our experience which is very kind and much appreciated. There is a Spar only 2 minutes walk away to get the essentials without needing a hire car or an uber.

this resort is probably one of the most relaxed resorts we have been too. Not overcrowded, and all staff were very pleasant and accommodating at all times. The layout of the resort and the accommodation was perfect for our family holiday. The main pool is so perfect for children. We loved it

We have now been coming here for 31 years and the standards have never dropped. The resort is always well presented and the apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We love the peace in the evenings and you never have a problem getting a lounger. The heart and soul of the place is the staff. Breakfast is our favourite, with everything you need including a fantastic omelet which has been prepared for us every year by the same member of staff. We are greeted every morning by Emily and Punan who feel like old friends and work extremely hard. There is always a warm welcome in reception from Ana Marie and Josias, and it was lovely to meet a newcomer Paul who complimented the team well. The cleanliness in the apartments never falters and the cleaners are very accommodating. We know the area well now and the location is excellent for accessing all amenities. The resort has great general rules which ensure the noise level is kept to a minimum and this all helps to keep the resort to its exceptional standard. If you try visiting Four Seasons Villamoura, you will definitely not be disappointed.

We had a fantastic stay at Four Seasons Vilamoura and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Before we arrived, I contacted the hotel to ask if an early check-in might be possible as we had an early flight. They explained that the apartment was still occupied but would do their best to accommodate us. When we arrived, they gave us pool towels and pointed us to the changing rooms so we could get changed and enjoy the pool while we waited. About an hour later, they messaged me on WhatsApp to say our apartment was ready, meaning we checked in around four hours earlier than the normal check-in time. It was a great start to our holiday. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, which was very spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It was well equipped, even including dishwasher tablets and washing machine detergent, which was a thoughtful touch. There were lots of little extras that made our stay special, such as complimentary ice-cold flannels and fresh fruit skewers handed out around the pool during the day. The pool bar offered a good selection of drinks and snacks, all at very reasonable prices. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. The whole hotel was immaculately clean and very well maintained. We are a family of four with two teenage children, and we never had any trouble finding four sun loungers together, regardless of what time we went to the pool. That was a huge bonus during the busy summer season. The marina was about a 15-minute walk away on a straightforward route. Because it was so hot, we often got an Uber there for around €5, then enjoyed walking back in the cooler evenings. The breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice, and on a few occasions we had lunch at the hotel, which was delicious and excellent value for money. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday. The excellent service, spotless facilities, thoughtful touches and relaxed atmosphere really made this hotel stand out. I would highly recommend Four Seasons Vilamoura and would happily stay here again.

As you enter via the front gate you are drawn instantly to the cleanliness and perfectly maintained grounds. You are given a warm welcome by the staff (it’s unfortunate that there has been such a turnaround of staff in such a relatively short time. There is something reassuring about seeing familiar faces) who efficiently and effectively register your stay and arrange the transfer of your luggage to your apartment. The apartment is always spotless and equally welcoming. The servicing of the apartment is frequent and efficient. I would say that the kitchen and bathrooms are looking a little tired as are some of the appliances. The furnishings are very comfortable and look modern and uplifting compared to the previous style. The restaurant and bar seemed more popular this year. The quality of the food was generally good. The recently refurbished pools and bathing areas are a great improvement and lift the ambience of the whole area. All in all Four Seasons Vilamoura continues to be a lovely place to visit and enjoy the experience .

Really helpful staff

Great hotel, 2 bed apartment was fabulous. The hotel staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. We all had the best holiday and are planning to stay again in October!

We really enjoyed our stay as always. The new pool area is great but would like to see sunbed “blocking” better managed. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and very helpful. We hope to see you all again soon!

FSV has always been a great place to visit, either with grandchildren or just adults. The apartments and grounds are maintained to an excellent standard. My only criticism over the last few years would be the food options/menu's are becoming quite limited, to which end I feel that members and guests alike are spending more time and money elsewhere to Four Seasons detriment.

A great result achieved on the external pool - and other - workd. Very professional. Following our stay , I have 4 comments / ‘ gripes ‘ . 1. Our lift - for apt.64 - was not working for our week , and I believe at lease the previous week . Not good - particularly for someone whi is in any physically challenged. 2. Broadband reception was / is very poor . Best i could achieve was 50mbs - in a world where 500 mbps is now the norm 3. The TV in our lounge would have been better placed in a museum. 4. The TV which should have been in the main bedroom had been removed. Overall - staff very good , pleasant and accommodating - particularly Reception. Four S. V. Is still one of our favourite places to visit .

Another wonderful stay at the Four Seasons in Old Village, Vilamoura. The Apartments and public areas are always clean and beautifully maintained and the staff as friendly and helpful as ever. Our 2 bedroom apartment gave us all the space we needed for 4 adults and a young baby. The bars and restaurants are excellent and although prices have risen in recent years are still reasonably priced. We will return again.

Myself and 3 friends visited for 2 nights and would highly recommend the hotel. We had 2x 2 bed Villas and whilst a little dated, were very large and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. The hotel was about a 25 min walk from the marina but only €5 in an uber. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Fabulous resort. Staff friendly, helpful and competent. Apartment was well appointed and fully equipped. Restaurant offered a good range dishes from bar snacks to a la carte and take away. Special nights featuring cuisine from around the world. Resort located within walking distance of the town. Good value for money.

Wonderful week of sun and fun at Four Seasons Vilamoura. The staff could not do enough for us and the facilities were all as expected and advertised. This year the gardens have had an overhaul and look lovely. The housekeeping kept the apartment clean and the pool attendants even brought us cold flannels twice a day, with fruit sticks and a smoothy. Roll-on next year.

We had a great holiday there last year so we returned this year and had another great week. It’s very relaxed, really friendly, food was lovely and the place itself is very well kept. We couldn’t fault the place and hope to return next year.

Location is great, rooms are spacious and general areas are clean and well maintained.

Quiet hours begin at midnight, but the resort starts cleaning the pool area with leaf blowers at around 7:00 a.m., which doesn’t leave much time for a peaceful night’s sleep. The resort also has a policy prohibiting guests from reserving poolside loungers, which is a great idea in principle. Unfortunately, the policy is not enforced. Many guests reserve chairs for hours without using them, making it difficult to find a spot by the pool when you actually want to use it.

Great stay here last month. Apartment (2 bed) was huge, 2 bathrooms, balcony overlooking the golf course. The food at hotel was lovely, eating alfresco. staff were amazing from the gardeners and housekeepers to reception and restaurant. Small problem with our oven door sticking which was fixed immediately I reported it. A handful of restaurants a very short walk away (2 or 3 minutes), half a hour to walk down to the marina (uber roughly 6 euros) and a mini supermarket close by which stocks most things you could want. The whole complex is immaculately clean and well maintained, no complaints whatsoever.

We just returned from our third stay at the Four Seasons in Vilamoura, and we couldn't be happier. Everything, from the location to the accommodations, staff, and service, was exceptional. The resort is absolutely spotless, with staff working throughout the day to ensure that all amenities are of 5-star quality. We love this resort and hope to return again next year.

The outside pool area was lovely and clean. Breakfast was fine but missing sausages :-) which you had to pay for. Otherwise, no complaints at all. Service was good, the staff were very helpful and happy.

Apart from not having sausages for breakfast, I can't say there was anything I didn't like. The food was tasty and plentiful. The freshly cooked omelettes were a delight. Still all positive.

It was exceptionally clean. Well supplied apartment, kitchen utensils, additional bedding, towels etc. The pool we'll lovely but chilly in May. The indoor pool was set to approx 26 degrees which was great. We ate an evening meal in the restaurant, i had the salmon, which was one of the best I have had. Breakfast was a buffet which you could eat inside or outside. Cooked and cold cuts. Cereal, fruit, pastries and omlettes made to order. Really nice filter coffee .

All excellent - a few comments. 1. indoor pool was on cold side. 2. corriders and stairs aroind apartment 72 badly need repainted as some water damage and paint flaking off. 3. Food prices good , drink prices uncompeditive. 4. We had on arrival to report a) balcony door stiff to open and making dreadful noise. b) window in main bedroom ensuite would not close and c) toaster broken and later in our first week we reported that the washing machine instructions were not in English!! While this did not adversely impact our stay all these issues should have been resolved by housekeeping.

Amazingly clean and lovely ambiance

All the staff including waiters, bar staff, porters and reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. The Breakfast buffet was excellent - the right amount of choice and quality. The Hotel is really beautifully landscaped - we really enjoyed the gardens and layout with the central pools. The pools themselves were nice - there was a kids one, more adult one and the indoor one for when the weather was not so good. To have Pinhal golf course within 2 mins walk was so convenient too.

The quality of the food at dinner was inconsistent - some of the meals on the al a carte were very poor (particularly the Italian Night), others were very good. They should do the buffet dinner much more.

The Four Season has immaculate grounds with two excellent outdoor pools and a good indoor option. The room we had was a little tired with an extremely small balcony. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were incredible. Reception was very slow and disorganise. Many people seemed to have incorrect charges in their bills. Additionally be warned there is a daily charge for the use of a baby cot and high char in the apartment.

Resort is very clean, tidy and all staff are very helpful. Pool areas are lovely but outdoors could be heated for winter use.

The property is beautiful, calm, and perfect for families. The atmosphere is relaxing, and there are plenty of activities planned throughout the week for both kids and parents, which keeps everyone engaged. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options. While the cuisine leans more toward American-style dishes, the quality is great, and they are very accommodating with dietary needs and allergies if you inform them in advance. You also have the option to book breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which makes the stay even more convenient—no need to worry about cooking at all. We were able to enjoy most of the facilities, including the indoor heated pool, which was especially nice. The spa treatment we tried was also very good and added to the relaxing experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff. They were incredibly kind, supportive, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. The housekeeping team was also very friendly and attentive. We traveled with our 7-month-old baby, and the entire experience was very comfortable and family-friendly. We also had the chance to meet some lovely people during our stay, which made it even more enjoyable. Overall, I would rate this place a 9/10 and would highly recommend it, especially for families with young children.

Family of 4, comprising of 3 adults and a child. We valued the peaceful surroundings and well equipped 2 bedroom apartment. This is our second stay at the Four Seasons and the only fault I could find was the invasion of ants. They appeared in one of the bathrooms and the living room from the window areas. Cooking facilities and utensils were very good if needed as the local produce in the supermarket is much better than in the UK. Staff are friendly and on hand to help if needed. We hired a car, so we're mostly out, and about indoor pool was lovely as we experienced some cooler temperatures during our stay.

The promises are not respected: arcade room is rubbish, the pool table is actually a snooker table you have no access to, no tv vlose to the bar so good luck for the world cup. For the usual standards of Four Seasons this is actually crap

I've been staying at Four Seasons for about 16years now and it's home from home for me, I stay there every March and November with friends to play golf as the weather is just right. I look forward to arriving each trip as it's so relaxing there.

Absolutely lovely stay. The pools and outside seating area was lovely for food and catch up with other guests. As usual the staff are so attentive and professional in every department. Can highly recommend.

Had a great week at Four Seasons in March with girlfriends. The apartments are stylish, extremely comfortable and have everything to make a perfect stay. The location is perfect, plenty of nearby walks and the pools are a great place to relax, always immaculate clean. Brilliant staff as always. Looking forward to returning in June. Oh, and they cater really well for coeliacs too.

Wow what can I say home from home everyone makes sure you are very well looked after. I have been going for the last 30+ years I would like to thank all the staff (maintenance, reception, bar staff, housekeeper, porters & not forgetting management). Looking forward to seeing you again next year.

Myself and my wife go every year to the Four Seasons Vilamoura in early January. We celebrate my birthday in mid January and 12 friends joined us from the UK and all stayed at FSV. As regular visitors we sometimes take for granted how friendly the staff are, how big the apartments are and how beautiful the pool areas are (even though the bottom pool was being refurbished). All our friends love the place as we do, we'll be back next year (we've even managed to squeeze in a extra week later this year in September).

I have been staying at this resort since it opened in the late 1980’s, for golf, relaxation, being close to the wonderful location around Vilamoura and within 30 minutes of Faro Airport. The accommodation is immaculate, the staff extremely friendly, food excellent, and the pool area is just completing a major refurbishment which is already amazing. Looking out on the golf course, and being only 100 yards from the vilamoura Old village, and a very pleasant 30 minutes walk only from the Vilamoura marina, it is ideally positioned.The marina is full of great restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend Four Seasons Vilamoura and we are already planning our 2027 trip.

Have been visiting Four Seasons Vilamoura for 33 years and we have never been disappointed. The apartments are spacious, well equipped and pleasant to be in with continuous improvements. The staff are second to none with their exceptional service and warm welcome. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Everything you need is here or close by. .

The hotel was amazing, great facilities. Firstly, the staff were so nice and accommodating. Everything was so clean and were cleaned/tidied daily. The pools were lovely and the upkeep was amazing. The restaurant was also very lovely. The studio/room was perfect and had everyone you could need. I will definitely be coming back and couldn’t recommend it more.

We have just returned from a beautiful week at FSV. As a family we have been coming here for 35 years and the standard has always been incredible. Nothing is too much trouble. The apartment we had was facing the golf course which gave us a beautiful sunset in the evening. It was so clean and welcoming, we always feel at home as soon as we step in. I had ordered a grocery delivery, which was taken to our apartment that was so helpful and allowed us to make the most of the sunshine! We had lunch in the restaurant and ate twice in the restaurant at night. The food is outstanding, beautiful, fresh, local produce. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful and really make your stay the best it possibly can be. I used the gym several times, and while it is a bit dated, there is always space to work out. I enjoyed a coffee by the wood burner in the clubhouse afterwards!! For the first time ever, I also had a massage at the spa. One of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had! I wish I knew how good it was earlier in the week - I’d have gone again!!! Our friends were with us, they have a young child, and she loved the indoor pool. The outside pool was a bit too chilly!!! Even though there are some improvements being made, noise is kept to a minimum and the builders and decorators are very discreet. I also have to mention the maintenance team - any issues they are so quick to respond and fix any problems. Our oven broke and they were round within 5 minutes to repair it. I have been coming to FSV. Since I was 14, and now I’ve been bringing my children - now late teenagers - and my mother in law. It truly is a wonderful place for multigenerational family holidays. A real home from home. It always feels like home to me. Thank you to everyone at FSV, see you in September x

Beware the resort does not exchange clean bath towels upon request (you must pay extra euro for clean towels) does not provide daily housekeeping services, does not provide dishwasher tablets ( must pay for them at 1 euro each), and not provide dish washing détergent.

What a wonderful week at the four seasons. While it was out of season , the staff made us feel special and looked after us as if we royalty! The room was spotless and the front desk answered all our questions and arranged for taxis to the airport.

The four seasons is our families favourite place to stay when we visit Vilamoura STAFF: The staff can not so enough for you and are so helpful with anything that we may require. APARTMENTS: The apartments are 5star standard and have the most comfortable beds and furnishings , they are warm , cosy and modern with all you need for your stay. Washing machines , dryer , cooker everything you need . Plenty of space for the whole family to feel comfy. POOLS: The pools both outdoor and indoor have kept our family entertained for hours on end . Spotless clean and warm . RESTURANT AND BAR : The bar area was so relaxing and always a warm welcome btly the staff, we ate in the restaurant twice during a 5 day stay and the food was absolutely beautiful, and price is very good too for a family . We feel right at home when we stay in 4 seasons. It's warm , cosy and most important it's very safe for children. We will stay here every time we visit VM.

The hotel or to be precise, a time share complex was on first visit a very nice venue, well maintained with gardens and outside pools. The staff were lovely and very helpful, especially Ana Maria on Reception and all the waiting staff. Due to mobility issues I needed to change apartment to use mobility features in the bathroom but this is where a little more thought needs to go into the room design. Admittedly the loo had bars either side to help you but the shower was over a high sided bath with just one small bar to hang on to, no walk in shower. The whole apartment was floored in white marble, lovely in the summer but a killer in the wintertime and we had to ask for the underfloor heating to be switched on in the bathroom to make it bearable. Luckily this was arranged. I would be very worried, using a stick to walk across the floor it's quite slippy. The main complex where we ate was nice with luckily a modern fire in the lounge area and small restaurant at the back. Again, for disabled guests, the restaurant is on 2 levels with steps in between. As the hotel got busier a lot of guests had to eat in the lobby and one lady complained of the cold. Luckily the hotel did provide some fan heaters. Food was average but Christmas Day dinner was very nice. For some reason we had to pick from a menu the 1st week, with items such as burgers, pizza, and some more adult fare on the menu. Prices very similar to UK so be aware when booking up, especially in the winter as rest of the Old Village was dead except the Spar shop. 2nd week we had buffet. Bit limited and not much in the way if fresh veggies. Can't comment on they do for special diets would highly recommend you contact the hotel. In the apartment we did have a proper kitchenette with all the gadgets including dish washer but to get hold of cleaning liquids such as tablets, etc you need to purchase from Reception. Had a TV with all UK channels and Sky thank god so at least some entertainment when it chucked down (and it did!). Also given 2 yellow beach towels but expectation to wash these yourself in the provided washer/tumbler. Unfortunately our machine was pretty old and we ended up draping laundry around the room and in front of one heater to dry clothing. It added a festive note! Finally the activities. There isn't any. If you get some sun you can sit out and watch the pool being renovated. If you have kids, hire a car and go out though all the attractions seem shut down eg Waterpark. We did day trips using local taxi and travel agents. They were very good. Don't bother with the marina. It looked shabby and run down. Loule is much nicer. Overall I wouldn't really recommend this for a winter holiday but the staff redeem it.

L’hôtel est parfait pour le calme et la tranquillité. Vous êtes face au golf, ce qui apporte beaucoup de sérénité. Les appartements sont bien équipés : lave vaisselle et lave linge. Il y a un balcon avec vue sur la piscine, c’est top de voir ce paysage dès le matin. Le repas de Noël TOP! Mention spéciale pour le personnel : obrigada Marcus et Raul ☺️

Le sauna n’est pas assez chaud à mon goût même s’il a le mérite d’exister.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The apartment was beautifully appointed with all of the amenities that you could require. It was located in a very peaceful location overlooking Pinhal golf course. The pool, sauna, etc added to our lovely relaxing stay. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choices. I would like to say a special thank you to Christina who met us with a warm welcome and looked after us throughout our stay, she really went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time.

Great happy hour. The food in the restaurant is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything impeccably clean. Apartments are spacious and the kitchens are fuIly stocked. Washer and dryer in the units.

One of the outdoor swimming pools is closed for renovations.
