Piscina é mínima e só tem 80cm de profundidade não deveria ser apelidada de tal. 10mn antes do término do horário do pequeno almoço já tinham retirado o buffet sem consultar/avisar quem estava sentado na área exterior.

Lovely room, decent breakfast, clean modern interior, decent pool area that needed a bit of TLC to bring it back to a good pool area. The shuttle bus is great too by Hilton

Pool area needed some attention and very shaded most of the day and could do with some music playing. Drinks and food from the bar was always a different price to what was on the menu and not much around the hotel but the shuttlebus to the marina makes up for it

The staff at reception were lovely, the room was very spacious and the balcony was big with a lovely view out onto the pool. There were decent options at breakfast, they provide free towels for the pool that they wash everyday in exchange for a pool card they give you on arrival which was great. There is a shuttle service into town from the hotel next door.

The pool is smaller than it looks from the pictures which is deceiving, it’s also shaded at different times in the day. By 4.30/5pm only a few beds were in the sun. Some of the staff were very inexperienced, which I can understand they have to be trained, but glasses weren’t cleared by the pool and tables weren’t wiped, we could see stains the next morning at breakfast. Randomly someone just came into our room unannounced after the room had been cleaned. The cleaners can be heard from very early in the morning. Lastly, it was very noisy at night time, guests coming in and they were very loud.

Brilliant location, enough sunbeds for all guests, delicious and plentiful breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.

Some groups were quite loud and disruptive and were not asked to tone it down. This only happened a very small amount of times. Pool area is a little bit tired and could do with a freshen up and lick of paint on the decking.

Tive uma excelente experiência no Vila Moura Garden Hotel e só posso deixar uma avaliação muito positiva da minha estadia. As instalações são de excelente qualidade, muito bem cuidadas e proporcionam um ambiente agradável e confortável. A piscina é fantástica, com um espaço muito agradável para relaxar e aproveitar os dias de descanso. A qualidade da comida também merece destaque, com refeições saborosas e bem apresentadas, contribuindo para uma experiência ainda mais agradável. Um dos pontos fortes do hotel é, sem dúvida, a simpatia e profissionalismo de todos os funcionários. Foram sempre muito atenciosos, disponíveis e prestáveis, fazendo-nos sentir verdadeiramente bem recebidos. A suíte foi outro dos grandes destaques da estadia: muito confortável, espaçosa, bem equipada e com excelentes condições, proporcionando todo o conforto necessário para umas férias de qualidade. No geral, foi uma estadia excelente, num hotel que recomendo sem hesitar. Certamente uma experiência a repetir!

The rooms were clean and balcony was good

Pool area in need of a refurb and it was dirty. Needed tables to be wiped down and area round the pool needed swept up. There was also leaves floating in the pool that needed to be brought to attention. Staff did not come and pick up dirty glasses on a regular basis. In fact one glass was lying about for 3 days! Breakfast wasn’t great either. Not much choice and a lot of the food was cold when you came down later.

We have just spent 6 fantastic nights at this lovely hotel. The hotel is small and friendly. All the staff (reception, bar, restaurant, cleaners, maintenance) were very friendly and polite. Our room was great, it was a suite directly over reception, overlooking the road but we were not disturbed by any noise at all. It was so peaceful. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, pastries, fruit, breads, cereals, hot food. We never went hungry. The fresh orange juice made on the press was delicious! Pool area is small, but was never busy, it was very relaxing. Pool perfect to cool off in. Hotel is 20-30 minutes walk to the marina for great choice of restaurants and bars. All in all, I would recommend and we would like to return to this hotel.

Staff at the bar seemed a bit confused with a small order The shuttle bus which ran from the Hilton Hotel dropped at different locations during the day, I dont recall this being explained either on the welcome whatsapp we received or when we checked in. For example our first night there we waited by the beach bus stop at 21:00 and no bus arrived as they didnt stop there at night

Vilamoura Garden is really beautiful, we stayed for a long weekend, our double room was open plan with a living area, plenty of space, truly fabulous. Swimming pool area is small but perfect for us, as the Marina is a 30 minute walk away, you can get a courtesy bus across the road from our Hotel running till midnight. The reception ladies were very helpful and lovely, definitely worth a visit, we enJoyed our stay.

Just returned from 1 week at Vilamoura Garden Hotel on B&B. 1st impressions were of a fairly old hotel which has tried its best to be brought upto date. Our room was huge, but with a lot of wasted space. Not sure why anyone would want 2 tv’s!. Definitely not enough drawer space for tee shirts, shorts etc; Enough hanging space and hangers, with safe also in wardrobe at no extra charge. Complimentary bottle of water in room on arrival. Small fridge, but enough room for a few cans or bottles of beer, water, wine. Small bathroom for size of room and gone are the days when you should have to step into the bath for the overhead shower. The bottom of our bath was badly marked and chipped and the sink had a hairline crack right around it. There was also a damp patch in one corner of the ceiling. Our balcony came with a table and 2 chairs and overlooked the pool area and outside dining area. Breakfast was pleasant and adequate, with the usual cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit, cereals, pastries etc; The big let down was the so called hot food - it was not even lukewarm. On the plus side, they had toasters that actually worked. We had no evening meals at the hotel, so cannot comment. We chose to eat out at Vilamoura Marina and at a nearby sports bar, called Sailors Corner, which was in walking distance. Food here was great and there was plenty of choice from wraps, sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, pasta and so on. Next door was a Spar supermarket for any supplies needed. The pool scene was on most days quiet and no need to reserve beds. You had to keep chasing the sun around as there was a lot of shade due to overhanging trees. The trees also seemed to encroach on a number of balconies which were in the shade all the time. Maintenance of the trees definitely needs looking at. The free shuttle bus from the nearby Hilton hotel was convenient for getting to the marina and beach and ran at numerous times of the day starting at 10am. We found it just as easy to order an Uber and these were good value for money. Wouldn’t want to walk or like to walk all the way to the marina and back. Too many busy dual carriageway roads. The hotel was very popular with golfers, especially short weekend breaks and this made the hotel noisier and busier Friday to Monday. All the staff were friendly and helpful, however we probably wouldn’t stay again as it’s a little too far out of Vilamoura itself for us.

Lovely experience at this hotel - reception and staff super friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable room - beds very comfortable. Great breakfast with lots of hot and cold foods, fresh fruit and coffee/tea choices. Small but nice pool area. Shuttle bus available into Villamoura Marina but you can also walk in about 20/25 minutes.

Do pouco tempo no Hotel, o que sobressaiu de positivo foram os amenities, da Rituals.

O quarto atribuído tinha um ruído constante, proveniente do transformador do posto de transformação do Hotel, localizado mesmo por debaixo do quarto. Aquando do check-in demos conta, mas pensámos que fosse algo temporário. Às 11 da noite, no regresso ao quarto, demos conta que continuava o ruído, indo ser impossível de dormir. Na receção, disseram-nos inicialmente que não tinham mais quartos, depois arranjam um quarto, mas por cima do atual, o problema iria ser o mesmo. A manager do Hotel, ao telefone disse que iria um técnico, que supostamente foi, e disse que não havia problema nenhum. Acontece que o técnico, não foi dentro do quarto, para ouvir o ruído. Foi-nos arranjado alojamento no Hotel próximo e ficou resolvido, já perto da 01 da manhã. A lamentar, que seguramente sabem do problema, e não reparando o mesmo, mantêm o quarto ativo. Igualmente a lamentar, que quando nos arranjaram a alternativa para o outro Hotel, ser-nos dito "é um favor que vos faço"! Caiu muito mal. A referir também, o quarto reservado tinha como descrição "Garden Room with Pine Forest View", a vista de frente do quarto é um muro com vedação e dá para a estrada, vendo sim, as casas do outro lado da rua.

Localização, funcionários e limpeza. Impecável

O quarto reservado inicialmente fazia barulhos durante a noite (ventoinhas ar condicionado) impedindo dormir com normalidade. Mudamos de quarto e tudo ficou resolvido.

Fabulous place to stay relatively small and quiet . The rooms are excellent , great towels and bedding which is always a priority. Plenty of Sun loungers, breakfast is splendid and the staff are all lovely. The reception staff are fabulous so helpful. It is our fourth time at this hotel and would not consider staying elsewhere when visiting this area of Portugal

A relação qualidade vs preço é bastante aceitável tendo em conta a oferta da região.

Quem pensa que vai descansar estará totalmente enganado. “Limpezas” e discussões dos corredores do house keeping iniciam às 8:20h. O corredor de acessos aos quartos apresenta bastante desgaste e alguma falta de limpeza com a carpete com inúmeras nódoas. Os interiores dos quartos algo desgastados mas utilizáveis. Para quem quer um b&b para poucos dias é uma boa opção, para quem quiser desligar da rotina e descansar, terá de procurar outro hotel.

10/10 stay at The Garden Hotel! My partner and I have just returned from an amazing stay and couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Our room was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for the two of us to stay comfortably for a week without ever feeling cramped. The bed was honestly the comfiest (and biggest!) we've ever slept in at a hotel—we're actually going to email and ask what brand it is so we can buy one for our home! Every member of staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They really are what makes this hotel so special. A huge thank you as well to the housekeeping team, who kept our room spotless every single day. We also used the gym, which had everything we needed for a week's holiday, including a cable machine, dumbbells, treadmill, bench and exercise bike. Breakfast was lovely too, with plenty of choice every morning and everything was always well stocked, no matter what time we went. We weren't expecting much from the food, if we're honest, but we were pleasantly surprised. Everything we tried was lovely, especially the peri-peri chicken and the club sandwich. The pool area was fantastic too—there were always plenty of sunbeds and parasols available, and it had such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The walk to Vilamoura Marina is beautiful, taking around 22 minutes along a lovely scenic path. If you don't fancy walking, an Uber or Bolt was only around €3. Thank you to everyone at The Garden Hotel for making our holiday so special. We had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to return!

O staff da restauração

As fotos não são verdadeiras e induzem a erro, não existe nenhum jacuzzi no hotel nem nenhum parque para crianças, o estacionamento não tem capacidade para 1/3 dos hóspedes, a piscina não é tão grande como aparenta ser, os berços estavam “guardados” no estacionamento, sem nenhum tipo de saco ou resguardo, o autoclismo deixou de funcionar e uma senhora ainda entrou no quarto no meio da manhã sem qualquer tipo de explicação, na realidade a única coisa que deu para aproveitar da estadia toda, foi a cama para dormir, nem o chuveiro estava em perfeitas condições. A gerência nunca demonstrou nenhuma preocupação com as nossas queixas, aliás, desmereceu e não resolveu.

Our free room upgrade was a lovely surprise for our anniversary stay and the room was beautiful. Perfect size for a couple with great view of the pool. The cheese burger I ordered at lunch to eat by the pool was one of the best burgers I have ever had, highly recommend. All the staff were so lovely and helpful, honestly can't fault the hotel at all.

They upgraded my room free of charge and gave me a massive room just for myself which was amazing with swimming pool view

I was woken up and told that I hadn’t checked out on time and I had to remind the hotel staff that it wasn’t even my actual check out I was only leaving the day after and the member of staff left looking lost and confused.

Rooms were large and spacious

Positives. The weather was great , the end, not quite as bad as that, but…. Negatives . This hotel is not 4 star , 3 star at a push . Rooms Ok, found the bed very comfortable and the housekeeping was excellent. Garden view rooms are a view of the main road🤷‍♂️ Breakfast was the usual suspects , some hot stuff, meat and cheese, cereal and pastries, nothing startling, fresh orange juice was great and the star of the show. If you wanted an omelette there was a 5.5 euro surcharge, never ever known that at a hotel, fried or poached eggs NO charge omelette 5.5 euro 😂 Food and drink overpriced. Staff in general were very good couple of exceptions but I’ll not single them out. Hotel ambiance.( perhaps we hit a bad few days,) but this was our experience. Most of our time around the pool was relaxing however from about 3/4 pm we were invaded by loud and foul mouthed obnoxious groups of men returning from the serenity of the golf course. As the drink flowed and males behaviour just got worse , this was far from relaxing , there were others guests who were equally loud and foul mouthed barely able to compile a sentence without using the F word. The first two days were pleasant but on day 3 two groups of these neanderthols appeared to arrive one group of white UK males 40/60 age range, ( golfers) appeared to think that all the other guests wanted to listen to their loud music , loud persona and foul language by the pool ,music ranging from trance, chill, oasis vibe played at full blast for the benefit of the entire hotel. Unfortunately there was another group of equally loud drunken obnoxious predominantly Asian males in opposition who decided they’d play their punjabi bangra bangers in direct opposition . As the afternoon progressed and the drink and sun took hold one guy with little man syndrome splashed one of the Asians and it all threatened to kick off, luckily it was defused by a few guys with a modicum of common sense on both sides and both groups returned to an adult reset. This was repeated the next afternoon but not as vociferously as the Brits had dispersed before the Asians turned up but the nonsense from both groups was as bad as the previous afternoon without the childish confrontations, at no time did any of the hotel staff intervene other than to provide these groups with copious amounts of alcohol which did nothing but exacerbate the situation giving them carte Blanche to behave exactly as they wished, plying them with beer, shorts , jager bombs etc. It was a relief that both groups were away from the hotel until about 3/ 4pm . Once these groups tipped up from their golfing etc we just left the pool area and went to our room , and even on the balcony it was noisy ,we had to close the patio doors to escape the madness. Fortunately the Asians had gone by the Sunday and the other group by the Monday returning the hotel to a bit of normality for our final 2 days, however it did impact on 3 days of our holiday. The hotel staff should have nipped this in the bud immediately but they didn’t and in setting the bar low it was the respectful courteous guests that suffered, poor show IMO. There are 3 restaurants/ bars in the vicinity of the hotel, sailors corner which is great for a drink or a light lunch, Pirata restaurant absolutely brilliant food at reasonable prices , run by some lovely older Portuguese gentleman so kind and respectful , please go to this restaurant 🙏and montel sol which is a bit more expensive but also serves excellent food, all offering far better value service and quality than the tourist rip off establishments on the marina👍 The resort itself Vilamoura marina, sounds lovely , and is picturesque, however after about 7pm it becomes hell on earth, dozens of groups of absolute morons in various stages of inebriation, the swearing the loutish behaviour, their unbelievable unawareness of anything outside their bubble, Mother Terasa could have been sitting next to them and their behaviour would NOT have improved. All these Irish bars which are Irish due to the fact that they sell Guinness and magners there is NOTHING remotely Irish about them🤷‍♂️ Plenty of Thai massage parlours and other dodgy businesses all around the marina , if that’s your thing, extremely seedy. I used to walk down to the marina everyday from the hotel, nice walk their and back gets you 8000 steps, 50 mins 👍and at about 10 am the place was being cleaned of the detritus from the previous evening, broken glass discarded drinks and sick🤷‍♂️ I’ll now go onto the prices in the bars and restaurants around the marina, we ate out every night and every meal other than pirata and montel sol was average at best , grossly overpriced,utterly underwhelming. I actually paid 6.5 euro for a can of STRONGBOW one night in a pub called Masters . Expect to pay 18 to 24 euro for a pizza,25 euro for a bottle of HOUSE wine🤔35/40 euro for bottle of Prosecco. 30 euro plus for sea bass or any other common fish. Gin and mixer 11 euro, cocktails from about 12 euros. Spent about 1500 euro in 8 nights, a meal and bottle of wine for 2 persons 100 euro plus. Couple of gin and tonics afterwards another 45 euros. Couple of soft drinks and sandwiches fries etc at the hotel through the day 50 euro. I think Vilamoura Marina is probably the worst resort I’ve EVER visited and easily the most expensive, these people should be wearing masks and singing stand and deliver 🤷‍♂️ Y

Lovely clean hotel, really quiet at night and even during the day it is never loud. Great sized room with generous balcony, the pool is great to cool off. 24 hr gym is a really handy option. Never an issue with sunbeds and the cleaners are super efficient and do a great job.

Location is a bit off from the main area however there is a free shuttle bus from the hilton across the road and Ubers are roughly €4/5 to the marina. It is walkable too with a nice walk through landscaped segregated paths from the main road, took us 15/20 mins.

Everything about the hotel was amazing. Excellent staff and the the hotel is spotlessly clean. It is a small hotel but it's perfect for a couple to relax, food at the breakfast was really nice and the menu for the restaurant was also really nice. Facilities at the hotel were all very well kept. I'd give 10 stars if i could.

This hotel is NOT adults only. We booked on the premise of this however, two days into our stay the pool was overrun by children. Screaming and shouting completely ruined the peaceful stay and made us not want to stay at the pool. It’s listed as adult only however management explained that as the hotel only made the switch this year they still have to honour the family bookings made in advance. It really shouldn’t be advertised as adult only till these stays are finished. The management did allow us spa access at the Hilton to compensate for the false advertising, however it was of course an indoor pool. The outdoor hotel pool itself wasn’t the nicest, overhung by a lots large trees a lot of debris falls in that isn’t cleaned up as well as a film of suncream floating on the top even at the start of the day. I had to pick a spider out of my partners hair while he swam in the pool. The only day i seen the pool being cleaned with a net was the day a plastic bag floated in it for two hours. There was however, plenty of sunbeds and there didn’t seem to be that sunlounger rush you get at other hotels. There’s not a lot around the hotel as you’re far away from the marina and beach so there’s not much escape. There are shuttles that run from the Hilton to take you there however, we just opted for ubers as it was around 4€. There’s a spar a five minute walk away for all your room drinks and crisps. Shops will come up on google maps 3 minutes away - don’t bother, they’ve been knocked down & maps hasn’t updated it. The hotel itself is nice on the surface with all the amenities you could want. Rooms are spacious, robes provided, unfortunately ants invaded our room crawling in through the cracks in the locked balcony door. Balconies lack anywhere to dry your towels. Had a great sleep until the last night when a pair of drunk girls ran around the corridor screaming at 3am & sounded like they were fighting eachother when their mum dragged them into their room - embarrassing. Staff are polite and welcoming. Unfortunately a lot of them are new, especially the bar staff who have made me some of the worst cocktails i’ve ever had and the price point isn’t cheap. The price of an average cocktail at the bar is around 9/12€, we also paid around 7/8€ for a spirit and mixer. We ended up just getting drinks from the spar and having them by the pool instead. We’re half board and you cannot swap dinner for lunch (which there’s a reason for). The pool snacks are delicious but again expensive, you’re looking at 15€ for a basic chicken sandwich and chips. We attended the dinner on our first night and the food was great, it’s a menu rather than your standard buffet so you order a starter, main and dessert and pay for your wine. The king prawn dishes are excluded and you’ll need to pay for them and they were out of stock of a few menu items which limited the menu further. The food we did receive was delicious however and we couldn’t fault the service. The downside was it felt like eating in a nursing home. The environment was somewhat sterile with what sounded like call centre hold music playing so we didnt bother again and just headed to the marina where there’s lots of good options alongside entertainment as there isn’t any at the hotel. Half board isn’t really worth it. The food and the staff are the only saving grace for this place and for what you pay just to be there it doesn’t cut it. What was supposed to be a calming time away more often than not turned into an additional stressor. Book quite literally anywhere else.

Hotel is very clean, full of golfers for the nearby golf course, with a few elderly guests as well. Breakfast is very minimal, a cooked table with bacon, sausages and beans, every other day hash browns. Another table with cooked meats and cheese etc, with another with cereal and fruit. Staff all very pleasant. Pool has enough sun beds and no placing of towels by inconsiderate guests. I was in room 119 - woke up first and second nights by people in the bar below constantly moving chairs and shouting etc. By the second night I had to complain and ask reception to keep them quiet - the bar is supposed to close at 11pm but this was around 12. I know this isn’t mega late but I’m on holiday to relax and go to bed around 10am and up for breakfast at 730am, as others also appeared to be. I spoke to the manager the following morning, who was extremely understanding and offered to move me to another room, but it was beside the lift, which was likely to also wake me if the same inconsiderate people where quiet going back to their rooms. So she organised some earplugs and the following day I was moved to room 201. This room was the opposite end and complete bliss until my final day when I was trying to catch some afternoon sleep ready for my 2am collection for our flight home, only to be constantly awoken by the cleaners shouting up and down the landing to each other. I called reception and was told “sir, it’s 4pm in afternoon” - which I get, but there’s no reason for the cleaners to be shouting up and down corridors to each other, without good reason. I’m sure they can do their jobs without shouting from one room to another or from end of the landing to the other and be mindful some guests are trying to relax. The other guests in our party are in room 120, which was opposite my original room. They were awoken most nights by the people above them, again moving chairs and shouting and arguing. Last night they also had to call reception because they couldn’t sleep and had endured it for too long, not wanting to be lived as they were in a suite. The rooms are good rooms, very clean, but there’s inadequate sound proofing, so if you want decent sleep then you need to look elsewhere. If your going to that drunk you won’t wake up and want a clean hotel then this is for you, however expect to pay €5 each time you want to go to the marina (main area) or return, which does add up, but not the hotels fault either. Staff are all very friendly, despite cleaners not considering people are also asleep through day for very good reasons

Ficámos no hotel de 5 estrelas ao lado, o hilton vilamoura. Portanto, desse hotel gostámos de tudo. Tem as condições de hotel de 5 estrelas. O quarto era enorme para 3 pessoas e tinha cozinha toda equipada. Pequeno almoço excelente. Ginásio com boas máquinas.

O hotel não é central, mas tem estacionamento privado, portanto está ótimo.

Everything was great no complaints

Beautiful large room with 2 balconies. Clean and comfortable.

Location wise, it was a bit far from the Marina.

The staff were super friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and clean and the area is lovely

Have recently returned from yet another visit to this great hotel.There have been a few changes with regards to restaurant and menu and on the whole I feel they have improved the experience the new menu for Half Board is very good and plenty of choice and as always the food is of an excellent standard and quality,there have also been some changes around the breakfast most of which are good and fit in with the layout and ambience of the restaurant but I have to say that I feel the large eye sore of a fresh orange juice machine I feel lowers the standard that this 4 star hotel has I mean it is something you would find in a supermarket and feel it takes up valuable space that could be better utilised if it has to be there maybe in a corner so it does not affect the flow of the restaurant.I am not naive or stupid enough to think my comments will have any impact but felt it has to be mentioned. There is now an pool table at one side of the bar which is ok as it is not too large and therefore not taking up too much room but an electronic heart board squeezed in as well not too sure. But back to all things positive which is what it has always been on my numerous visits each year to this hotel and that is thanks again to the girls on reception Liliana and Pilar always friendly polite and helpful,also thanks to Michele for her friendly manner at breakfast. Finally once again thanks to Tiago for his excellent efficient professional and of course friendly service in running the restaurant and bar area soon well. Hope to see you all again soon

Great hotel, with spacious rooms. Well located plus enough space for the car. With even indoor car parking. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

Nothing, we liked it all.

2nd time we have stayed here and absolutely loved it. Hotel about a mile outside marina which is ideal and there is a shuttle bus provided about 6 times a day into town. The staff are excellent and so friendly and the breakfasts were awesome with loads of choices and variation. The pool is small but perfect size. Great Hotel for couples
