Great stay at Harris Hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect — literally right next to the ferry terminal, which makes travelling so convenient. They also provide a shuttle to the ferry terminal, which was really helpful with our luggage. Very convenient, comfortable and family-friendly. Definitely recommended and would stay here again! ❤️

I had an absolutely magical stay at HARRIS Hotel Batam! As a solo traveler, I was initially expecting a quiet trip, but the team here made my stay so bright, colorful, and exciting! A huge shoutout and heartfelt thanks to Trestha and Aprilio. They truly went above and beyond by surprising me in my room with a lovely cake and even featured my photo on the TV screen! It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that completely made my day. Another highlight of my stay was the iconic HARRIS Move dance during breakfast. It was super energetic and fun—it kept me entertained and made breakfast as a solo traveler far from boring! The warmth and hospitality from Trestha, Aprilio, and the whole team were exceptional. I highly recommend HARRIS Hotel Batam to anyone, especially solo travelers. I’ll definitely be back!

I paid SGD120 per room per night. I really don't think the quality of the room justify the price. The room is old, pillows are not comfortable, toilet looks old and toilet sewage smells. Overall it doesn't feel like 4-star hotel quality for sure. Price range around SGD~80 per room makes more sense considering the quality.

Was here over the 8-10 Aug weekend with a group of almost 50 for some year planning for our organisation. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Air-conditioning worked well. Our group had wonderful support from Annisa and team in our meeting room needs, our group dinner requests and in promptly and responsively addressing some minor water tap hicups in their rooms with for some of our participants.

The staff were very helpful and often go out of their way to help. They were very friendly too! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Batam to stay at this hotel!

Fantastic stay. Will back again

The service consider good although it's a busy days for them when we are having a long weekend and it's crowded in Batam. Rooms are comfortable and surprisingly they provide bolster in the room as well which no hotel will provide bolster.

Unfortunately, from the moment I checked in until the end of my stay, the experience was filled with one issue after another. My first issue occurred during check-in. I had booked a King Bed room, yet I was initially assigned a Twin Bed room. The reception staff even confirmed that my reservation was indeed for a King Bed. But when entering the room its a twin bedded room. I had to wait approximately 30 minutes before a suitable room was made available. When I was finally given my room, I received two key cards, but one of them did not work. Upon entering the room, I discovered that the in-room safety deposit box was faulty. I informed the staff before leaving for Mega Mall and requested that it be repaired while I was out. When I returned, I specifically asked the reception whether it had been fixed and was assured that it had. However, upon going back to my room, I found that the safe still could not be locked. The problems did not end there. The bedside charging port was not functioning, making it inconvenient to charge my devices. The bathroom had an unpleasant odour that appeared to be coming from the drainage system, and the toilet door made loud creaking noises every time it was opened or closed, as though it was about to come off its hinges. These are basic maintenance issues that should have been identified and rectified long before guests encounter them. The wifi is patheically slow. To make matters worse, after experiencing all of these issues, I requested just one additional bath towel. Instead of showing any empathy or making a small gesture of goodwill after the numerous inconveniences I had already faced, the staff informed me that I would be charged IDR 50,000 for the extra towel. It was not merely the charge that was disappointing, but the complete lack of understanding or remorse shown. Overall, the hotel appears to be poorly maintained, and my experience reflects a lack of attention to both the condition of the property and guest satisfaction. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Harris Hotel Batam Center to others.

Had a good stay in Harris hotel Batam Center. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Vano from front desk. Helped my family with enquiries. The breakfast provided was satisfactory.

We stayed at Harris Batam Centre for our 3D2N cycling outing. Superb location next to the international ferry terminal (just 100m walking distance and partly sheltered). I just needed to push my road bike after getting out the terminal to check in at the hotel lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful to store my bike in the secure luggage storage and retrieved it for me at 5am for my pre-dawn rides over the 2 mornings. There is Batam Mega Mall just opposite the hotel (walking distance around 75m) offering a wide range of retail, F&B and also included a mega supermarket. This hotel makes a good base for cycling outing. Day 1 ride was to Nongsa Loop where the resorts hotels were located. Day 2 ride was to Barelang Bridges. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay because the staff were helpful, friendly and engaging. One of them who manned the reception on overnight shift actually noticed the brand of my road bike and did some checking on the local prices of this brand in Indonesia and bothered to strike up a convo with me when I returned from my first ride.

The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

There is no covered shelter & proper paths to go to the ferry terminal & shopping centre. It is inconvenient if it is raining.

Excellent location. Next to Batam Centre ferry terminal. Opposite Megamall. Very accessible. Though it's a hotel with basic amenities, room is clean, vibrant & reasonable space. Only downside is I booked for a non smoking room but the room, especially toilet smell of cigarette. Staff was informed & came quite fast with air freshener. Unfortunately, the toilet smell of cigarette again at night. Guess it's the air vent issues. Basic Breakfast variety but sufficient for us. Staff are friendly & service oriented. Worth a stay for a short relax trip.

I recently stayed at Harris Hotel Batam Centre and while the property itself is starting to show its age, the exceptional service truly saved the experience. The Good: From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming. Jojo at the front desk was very friendly, taking the time to explain my room type and apply my ASR member discount. I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but the team made the wait comfortable. I even had a nice chat with Mr. Jo, the Front Office Manager, about the ASR app and the other hotels under the Ascot group. A special shoutout goes to Mr. Immanuel, the Duty Manager. I had internet issues on my first night, and instead of bothering the night staff, I reported it in the morning. Mr. Immanuel was extremely helpful and efficient; he managed to move me to another room with a strong connection just in time for my online meeting. The Housekeeping team also kept the room spotless throughout my stay, and the Security team were always friendly and helpful. The Not-So-Good: The hotel definitely needs some TLC. The rooms are a bit dated, and it might be time for a major refurbishment. I noticed the shower glass door was scratching the floor, which could be a safety hazard. The swimming pool is quite small and also looks old. However, my main concern is the uneven lobby tiles, which could be dangerous for elderly guests and children. I hope management looks into this soon. Overall: Despite the maintenance issues, I had a satisfying stay. The staff are the real asset here, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and solve problems quickly. If you value great service over brand-new facilities, this is a solid choice. Would I return? Yes, mostly because of the team here.

Great service with a smile by the GROs Trestha and Atika. Trestha were especially exceptional as she informed us by phone that our room is ready earlier than the stated time. All staff at Harris Batam Center were very friendly and sociable. The doormen were always there to greet us, open the door, or help to open our car door and help with the luggages. Near to Batam Mall and there's even a shuttle service to go there. Will not hesitate to stay here again.

Breakfast is just ok. The food is not very tasty but it will do if you're not so fussy.

The only slight hiccup was patchy service in the restaurant. One waitress was very good, but at other times the service wasn’t very good. One waitress was constantly distracted by her mobile phone, not paying attention when we needed service.
