Degelijk ontbijt, meerdere keuzes die vers gemaakt werden De kamer had zeezicht en een klein balkon Alles was erg proper Vriendelijk personeel bij het ontbijt

De bedden waren doorlegen. Je lag echt in een kuil en het bed kraakte hard als je je omdraaide. We hebben 2 keer moeten betalen omdat volgens de eigenaar de betaling niet was doorgegaan. We hebben op 2 manieren een bewijs van betaling aangeleverd en hebben aangeboden om onze id achter te laten als waarborg maar hij bleef verwijzen naar zijn eigen betalingssysteem. We moesten het maar zelf oplossen met Booking.com. Het was betalen of geen overnachting ondanks dat we al betaald hadden. Ook na het aantonen van de dubbele betaling was hij zelf niet bereid om terug te betalen. Hij onderbrak ons en bleef verwijzen naar zijn eigen systeem. We mogen het dus zelf oplossen met Booking.com

Wir haben noch nie in einem so schlechten heruntergekommenen Hotel geschlafen. Außer dem Personal beim Frühstück gibt es nichts was man hier positiv bewerten könnte.

Alt, Badezimmer ein Witz, Betten kurz vor dem Zusammenbruch. Stornieren war nicht möglich da vorab bezahlt werden musste

Frokosten var helt topp og damen som serverte oss var alltid smilende og imøtekommen! Det var ikke hårføner på badet men det ble levert på døren når en spurte etter det. Man kommuniserte med overnattingsstedet via WhatsApp, kjapt, enkelt og greit 😄

Clean, comfortable beds, amazing location.

Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. Lots of fresh fruit and cereals, all very well presented. Lovely vibrant atmosphere.

I enjoyed a lovely stay, in a room with sea views, a very comfy and clean bed, super shower and delicious breakfasts. Great location on the Esplanade and minutes from the railway station, buses, shops and eateries, and not far to walk to the Pavilion Theatre. The team were delightful and attentive.

Very well equipped as it was an apartment, within the B&B ! Top floor 2 bedroom apartment Had everything we needed, cutlery, plates, mugs, utensils, microwave, kettle, air fryer, Complementary milk, cereals, tea, coffee and sugar. Lovely to stay and be independent with your own space.

Top floor, 51 steps in total. Bathroom, toilet wasn't within the apartment, Was separate and further 11 steps each time for showering and toilet. Not safe at nights. Had to keep a light on all night.

The location is fantastic, it is just opposite to the beach and close to the town with restaurants. The bed is comfortable and clean. The breakfast is stunning, other than that, there were fruit, cereal, toast. Dean did a little surprise to my 9years old birthday boy, there were balloons in the room for him. Thank you very much.

The B&B is ideally located on the Esplanade directly opposite the beach front which is amazing. The family room we booked was spacious, had very comfortable beds and had the essential facilities to make hot drinks etc. The owner (Dean) was very helpful in guiding us to the best place to park before we arrived, and also called to see when we’d like to check in so we could drop our things off then come and go as we wish. I’d also like to thank the team who were in covering breakfast. They were all very polite, helpful and breakfast was lovely which set us up for the day.

There was nothing to dislike to be honest.

Staying at the hotel was a pleasant experience. It was convenient as it was close to the beach and town. The staff were very polite. The breakfast was excellent, really enjoyed it.

I didn’t like the fact that there wasn’t a mini fridge in room to store water to keep cool as it was hot during the time. And the room was a bit smelly, kind of dusty??? The room was clean though.

Directement sur la plage. L'appartement est assez grand et bien équipé. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et le personnel adorable.

Nous avions la chambre à l'Ouest donc il faisait chaud le soir et nous sommes venus pendant la canicule. Heureusement le ventilateur nous a bien aidé.

Direkte Lage am Strand und dadurch einen super Ausblick von der Wohnung gehabt. Das Frühstück hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt und man konnte hier zwischen verschiedenen kalten und warmen Sachen aussuchen. Vorteilhaft war die zentrale Lage zum Bahnhof und zu der Strandpromenade. Das Einzelzimmer ist klein, aber hat alles was man braucht. Etwas Straßenlärm hat man durch die Straße.

The property location was excellent. On the esplanade and a five minute walk from the train station and a hop skip and jump from the beach and promenade. We stayed in a room accommodating four persons (12A) , so was a bit crowded with a tiny en-suite bathroom. No sea view and a bit warm. However, one stand fan was provided. The room was clean with daily housekeeping which was good. Fresh towels every day. Breakfast was good with a hot breakfast, fruit, juices and cereals and good service. Gluten free toast was available.

- Wi-fi did not work in our room which was an inconvenience for my parents who are visiting and did not have a UK SIM. - One single bed in our room was not firm (which I slept on) and was creaky.

Staff were incredibly friendly and happy, always a warm smile and time for a chat, even though they were working very hard. Fantastic breakfast, huge selection, generous portions and no petty limits on what you are allowed to eat. Oustanding service provided by all the staff and the owner was very understanding, eager to help and with some good tales to tell. View from upper seafront room was second to none.

Close to the seafront, traffic noise such as boy-racers, road sweepers was quite high, but things quieted down after midnight and after a few nights you get used to it. The windows needed to be open because it was hot in the room and we used the provided fan to blow in some cooler air from outside.| Beds and mattresses felt a bit small, old and rickety.

I do not really know where to begin. I booked what was supposed to be a "suite", the best room in the structure. I do not know what is the meaning of suite in England but in europe is something different. The was tiny, a bit dirty (even cobwebs) and the bathroom was even smaller. The balcon with the view was a joke, the window to reach it was not working and to keep it open you needed a stick!!! The welcoming was very rapid and hasty, the breakfast was ok but of sun protection on the windows and I was sweating and needed sunglasses. I found a lot of good reviews and I cannot really understand them!!! I can go on but I will stop here. Terrible experience and definitely non what I expected with the price I paid.

The host Dean and Maya were very good and accomodated. If we asked something, they always gave immediate action and satisfaction.Breakfast is extreamly amazing,beyond our spectation, we have a great time on our holiday I can't say nothing but all is great. Definitely will back again.

Das Frühstück wird ganz nach persönlichen Wünschen angefertigt, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal! Die Lage ist super, man muss nur aus der Tür fallen, dann ist man schon am Strand. Tolles klares Wasser, nicht zu überlaufen.

Das ganze Gebäude ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und müsste saniert werden. Das trifft aber so ziemlich auf fast alle Häuser zu, die an der Strandpromenade stehen...

Location is perfect for exploring Weymouth town & enjoying the beach. Quick & easy check in & very accommodating on looking after luggage if arrival before check in time & check out. Room was a good size, very clean & reasonably furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of storage space. Room had a sea view which was an added bonus because on every Monday through-out August they have fireworks on the beach @9.30. My grandson(5yr) & i were able to sit and watch from the window which was perfect.All staff were friendly & helpful & i felt very safe staying here as i was travelling for the first time on my own with my grandson on a little mini adventure. Breakfast had plenty of choice of pastries ,fresh fruit & freshly cooked English breakfast. I definitely would not hesitate to book again.Thank you for helping me make memories with grandson.

Overall the experience was fair. Modernisation of rooms and maybe a bit of feminine touches would also improve . But staff friendly and helpful so no complaints there. Breakfast good with plenty of fruit and cereal to start the day. Location was pretty good as well. Balcony terrace and sea view bonus.

The room needs to be updated. There is peeling wall paper and it lacks a bit of finesse. Bathroom was quite small and tough to get in and around. Although a window could be opened no air conditioning or fans, same as the breakfast seating area no fans to keep guests cool so having breakfast and sweating. Staff need to make sure people do sit at the allocated tables to avoid confusion or annoyed patrons.The only downside is there is no filtered coffee available just instant but plenty of fruits and cereals to help yourself with. Overall the experience was fair. Refreshing the rooms maybe one at a time and it could vastly improve.

A lovely location, overlooking the long sandy beach. Perfect for an early morning swim! The train station and bus stops are a short walk away. The road along the sea front is busy, so there is traffic noise. Our sea view double room was small, and the shower room is particularly small, but was adequate for us. Be aware that to use the balcony you have to climb out through the (large) window. Breakfast was excellent, hot and freshly cooked. The dining room and our room were very clean. The owner was helpful and staff at breakfast were cheerful!

Breakfast was very good, quick to serve & consistent with the quality. Staff were very friendly & were willing to assist outside of their normal duties.

As it was a hot period during our stay, it would have been good to have had the option of having a fan in the room. Last day of my stay the shower was very limited with hot water in the morning period.

It could really do with updating. The carpet in our room looked as though it was from the 60's. Chest of drawers very wobbly and the beds, although spotlessly clean, creaked! Just to make you aware at 83 and 77, we only slept in them!

Very easy check in, was calked by manager to say we could check in earlier than planned which was great. Excellent location, directly across road from beach, very short walk down into the town. Room was spacious and very clean, nice temperature, lovely little extras in complimentary toiletries, coffee, tea etc. Wifi free, couple of mins to long stay car park. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a huge range of continental and coomed options and nothing was too much trouble. Stress free check out. This is a place we will most definetly visit again. Honestly, great value for money!!

The room was very spacious with an historic flair. The served breakfast was tasty and the staff very friendly and attentive. Despite having had to arrive very late, I could still check-in and the respective communication beforehand about that was great. Thank you!

Good-sized room, nicely decorated, great location on seafront, 5 minutes walk from train station and 10 minutes max from buses to everywhere. Good breakfast. Owner/manager is nice guy and efficient.

Steep stairs to bedrooms and NO LIFT! And lots of "fire doors" - don't stay here with a heavy suitcase! No towel rack and very tiny shower, I'm normal size and had to be careful not to hit elbows on the wall when showering. Nowhere in shower area to put towel or soap and sink was across the room so if you forget the soap you're padding wet across the carpet to get it. And nothing but soap provided. But hey, no need to provide shampoo cos there's no hairdryer either so forget about washing your hair... Weather was very hot and there was no fan (something that seemed standard,, like hairdryers, in every other place I stayed in this trip) so room got very stuffy..

A Maiden Rest is in a perfect location with wonderful views of the beach. The staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great they even catered for my 5 year old granddaughter. All round a great place to stay to enjoy Weymouth and the surrounding areas.

The bed structure was not solid enough. As such it was squicky.

Lovely friendly B&B set right next to the beach. Beautiful views from the front door. Friendly welcome very clean and a very filling breakfast. Excellent price.

One issue that is not the fault of the owners is being in a prime central location there is no parking however there is a car park nearby that is only a few minutes walk.

A Maiden Rest exceeded my expectations. I pre-booked a single room, and was upgraded to a bigger room with a balcony when I arrived, which was completely unexpected - certainly improved my overall experience. The hotel has great access to the nearby harbour, beach, bus stops, and other notable locations. Perfect whether you're travelling on your own or with someone else.

Rooms are not sound proof. You can hear passing traffic, but that also means you can hear the sea!! (added bonus).

Very nostalgic. The furniture and smells took me back to the 90’s. All well maintained.

Nothing really. Breakfast was hosted by a young lady that didn’t quite understand us. Asked for no mushrooms and she just nodded. Brought out mushrooms. Vegan couple next to us had great difficulty getting her preferences across. Food did taste lovely! Old fashioned fry-up.

The property has the best views in Weymouth. The location is a 2 min walk from the station and just by the beach. The property was clean and breakfast was good and served warm.

I don’t know why no one has mentioned this but the bathroom is very tiny. You can hardly turn back. I haven’t seen such tiny bathroom except on some trains. There are no pictures of the bathroom shared as well. I think it’s necessary to set correct expectations.

The mattress was too hard for me. Besides, as there weren't any table and chair, so the only place I could sit on was the table (or the toilet!). And the wifi connection didn't work most of the time, at least in my room on the third floor.

The family room was disappointing; it was on the ground floor, located in a section without a sea view and accessible only through a narrow and cramped corridor. The facility doesn’t have a parking area. The water didn’t get warm enough for a proper shower. Basic amenities like a refrigerator and a hairdryer were missing in the room. The single beds were uncomfortable. The room was very cold in the morning, and there was no heating or air conditioning. Since the building is made of wood, you can hear every sound from the upper floors. I definitely do not recommend this place for families.
