The room wasnt clean. Hadn't been hoovered. Plaster falling off walls. Issue with damp and water leak. Bed sheets didnt fit properly Room 29 Still waiting for the refund of £126.50 Had to drive 1.5hrs back home as didnt have funds to stay anywhere else.

Perfect location on the seafront, spacious room and bathroom. Staff were friendly. Many restaurants and bars nearby if needed. Dog friendly hotel.

We had a Seaview room and you cant beat that view, location is perfect. Breakfast was nice. Staff friendly .

We stayed in room 18, which is meant to be one of the best, this needs a complete renovation. Carpet was filthy, furniture was all chipped very badly where its just been painted. Walls were all chipped and needing decoration... mirror hanging off wall, towel rail wasn't safe and even the person that showed us to our room warned us about it. Also a big hole in wall next to it. Cleaning was very poor. We complained that the fridge wasn't working and was freezing everything and even tho I asked, we had no feedback on this. Such a shame... we stayed here during lockdown and we loved it then but unfortunately won't be returning.

There was a major leak in the bathroom ceiling, rainwater coming through the light fittings!! And no real coffee in the breakfast room.

The Room no view, no windows that would open. Just a patio that looked out in to a really dirty un kept roof patio. Being asthmatic no ventilation, this plays a big part of my sleep comfort. Shower and toilet very cramped. Unfortunately if we were of larger people you would not get in to shower. A phone box has more room.

The location was ideal being in the town centre!

I booked this property for my partners birthday and unfortunately it was a let down. The property is lacking a huge amount of TLC. Our room was not as advertised! we booked a superior double room and it was in fact a twin room with the two single beds pushed together. The duvet was so large for the bed the duvet cover did not fit correctly and had to be tucked under the bed. The fixtures and fittings within in the room are a massive risk! They are basically hanging off the wall and need to be looked at! The fridge had black dirt inside and the kettle is full of limescale and mould. The tea & coffee in the room was not up to standard and tasted off. They were white stains all over the duvet cover and yellow stains on the mattress itself. We woke up in the morning with a few bite like marks which was quite concerning. The rack in the shower is full of rust. The shower fitting itself is loose! The water was extremely hot and couldn’t get the right balance for the shower temp. The door lock didn’t work and the door didn’t close properly - no privacy there. When entering the room at night time you have to stand in the darkness for a few seconds as the light switch is in the far corner behind the door but you have to guide yourself to it unless you use a phone light. The price is an absolute disgrace! £187 for 2 nights and we saw an A Board by the front door advertising at £65 a night including breakfast to my calculation we should of paid £130! We bought our small dog with us as it stated it was dog friendly, we were put out of the way for breakfast, where we couldn’t be seen or checked on. When ordering breakfast it was out on the table within a minute wasn’t freshly cooked as advertised on the menu, was more like it was cooked off and in the hot hold. I really do hate to leave a bad review and I’m not one often to do it. But it appears this hotel which is not a hotel as advertised it is a guest house needs some serious attention and a bloody good clean!

Unmittelbar in Strandnähe gelegen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Alles gut in Schuss. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer - eines mit und eines ohne Meerblick. Das Zimmer mit Meerblick war sehr geräumig und sehr schön eingerichtet.

Unser zweites Zimmer war deutlich, deutlich kleiner als das Zimmer mit Meerblick und daher auch etwas einfacher eingerichtet sowie durch die Lage nach hinten zwar ruhig, aber mit weniger Tageslicht.

Very tired & dated , booked a superior room & double room both with sea views,very high price to pay for this standard, mould on wall in superior room with paper peeling off , mould in shower cubicle in double , dust on bed posts , filthy black velour chair by window , steel radiator hanging off on left hand side in bathroom .water from tap to fill kettle tasted of chlorine so had to buy water to fill . Breakfast on first morning was great !! Second morning cold , soggy toast , had to ask for forks , teaspoons & jam & marmalade. Very loud outside throughout the whole night , ppl walking past drunk , swearing screaming & shouting hanging around outside property, None of us were able to get any sleep until after 4.30 am !

Staff were very helpful and friendly, location is great and the room was clean.

The hotel felt tired and dated. No ventilation in the room and windows would not open. Towels were old and thin. Shower was old and water took forever to get warm.

One of the 2 rooms we booked was just about passable the other should never have been given to guests, it was filthy. We had only booked for 1 night thankfully and cleaned it ourselves, although couldn't use the shower at all. Mattresses needed throwing out, you could feel the bed frame through them in both rooms. Window cleaner desperately needed to remove build up of pigeon feaces!!!

Good location and well priced dog friendly rooms.

The rooms are dated and in need of an upgrade. Shower doors broken. Only one bedside table. Drawers difficult to open. Locking system on doors needs to be replaced and updated.

Sehr freundliches Personal, besonders Marc scheint sich geklont zu haben und ist gefühlt an der Rezeption, an der Bar, beim Frühstück etc. gleichzeitig.

Reception when I checked in. He was unfriendly and didn’t apologise for keeping me waiting. He was dealing with clients but could have easily asked me politely to wait, maybe even sit down as I am elderly and use a walking stick.

This is a fantastic location close to the station, beach, restaurants & leisure facilities. The sea view room was wonderful. It was great there was a lift especially for my 85 year old mum.

The breakfast room in the basement was quite dark and could do with brighter lighting. Being visually impaired I found this room a bit challenging.

One out of the 2 rooms we stayed in was very tired wires showing through plug socket ,light hanging off wall ,bed sloped alot so your feet were higher and head lower

We have stayed here before so new that the location to the beach and town were great

Since our last stay it seems to have become less personal and more about the importance to them of the coach party guests. For example when we went for breakfast we were told to sit in the bar because the coaching holiday guests were in the dining room. We were also told it would be best to go for breakfast around 9am because the coach guests would be down for their breakfast first ! I asked for a fan in my room previous to arrival and what I got was a broken fan that didnt work. After 2 requests and chasing it up Mark gave us the fan from the lounge. Our room was so hot even with the fan. The sun shone on our window all day so we closed the curtains to keep the heat out only to come back to find housekeeping had been in and opened them wide. we stayed out until 11pm as it was too hot in our room to sleep. Then the morning of leaving we found out whilst chatting to members of the coach holiday that they had 2 fans in their room !!! They were also shocked when we told them how much we paid for our room when they had paid £399 for the coach holiday which was all inclusive including a 4 night stay , breakfast and an evening meal at the Leam. I strongly suggest that if you are going to just stay via booking.com avoid this place. It is not as good as it used to be when we stayed before. Its more about money now and less about guests unless you are on a coach. we will be staying elsewhere next time. The only positive I can give is how lovely Mark is, a credit to them and a true gent.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a brilliant experience. The location was perfect, with everything we wanted within easy walking distance. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which really made us feel at home. A special thank you to the team for decorating the room for my girlfriend's birthday. It was such a thoughtful surprise and made the occasion even more special. We really appreciated the extra effort. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

When we arrived we had a superior double booked first thing we are told is we have been upgraded to a superior double with a sea view top floor with lift access big room with queen bed very comfortable and large bathroom which could easily put a bath in aswell as a separate shower

The hotel is in a great location, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was clean throughout, and our room was a good size.

The hotel is looking quite tired and would really benefit from a refurbishment. We had hoped for a sea-view room, but unfortunately none were available by the time we checked in, even though we arrived a little early. Our room had a glass door, but it couldn't be opened, and there was no window, fan, or air conditioning. With the hot weather, the room became very uncomfortable. By the time we realised this and found that the door couldn't be opened, reception had closed, so we didn't have the opportunity to ask for a fan, and really didn't want to ring the phone number to bother anyone . The bathroom was clean, but the shower cubicle and shower hose were showing their age and could do with replacing. There was also a carpet runner between the bedroom and bathroom that had lifted up, creating a potential trip hazard. Thankfully, we noticed it before anyone was hurt. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and the pillows were flat, so we didn't get a good night's sleep. Overall, this hotel has plenty of potential thanks to its excellent location, friendly staff, and cleanliness, but it would really benefit from some updating and improvements to make guests' stays more comfortable.

An excellent affordable B&B in an ideal location for enjoying Weymouth. Our room was comfortable and clean with a good breakfast included. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The decor is a little tired

The staff member on our arrival was brilliant. Mark was great with our dogs and we had a lovely sea view room. Our bed was so comfortable and our dogs had a blast. Breakfast was lovely and our boys even got a sausage.

The staff were lovely. Really helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast great. Mark suggested a forthcoming entertainment evening in their bar which we went to and it was great. The singer was brilliant with ridiculous jokes, really resonated with the audience.

The room was unexpectedly large and had super sea views. The breakfast was included and was excellent. The shower was good and the room clean and tidy. Mark, the general manager was extremely helpful and friendly.

Lack of parking but that is Weymouth on the whole so I never mark down for that.

Mark was a very welcoming host. The room was lovely with a perfect sea view. Added bonus of breakfast which was super. Couldn't fault anything at all. Would definitely recommend. Thankyou 10/10

Very thin walls / floor. Unfortunately left Weymouth at 8am due to arguments from room above and snoring, dropping bits on the floor so I got limited sleep and partner got none

The location was perfect, right on the front. Parked nearby in the station and was able to unload very close by. Staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble, even though I couldn’t wake my husband up to let me in ! Our dogs were welcome and breakfast was nice . We didn’t use the bar as we were out most of the time.
