I booked this for 2 work colleagues. We normally book premier Inn & couldn't get in at a single one in that area so for the first time i had to look around. Nervous because I didn't know what these guys would think! Mark who stayed came to me yesterday & said "Lisa, it was amazing! Family room all to myself, lovely room. The food was really nice & the place had an old worldly feel which was great! We enjoyed a drink, staff were friendly, could have stayed all week!"

The ensuite was very compact but it was functional and clean.

Convenient for our stay location

Small minor issues easily resolved i.e. by providing water drinking glasses. A chair in the room would be a good addition. Personal preference- did not like the large corner bath in bedroom. Not a proper shower.

It was convenient to be able to eat at the pub. The food was good. Pub entertainment finished at 10pm so didn't disturb us sleeping. Not many car spaces but no problem parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good place to stay!

The shower was liable to overflowing. Also the pressure and temperature were connected so you could essentially choose between cold and very high pressure.

Small room but clean!

Loved the space, large beds and clean bathroom with spacious cupboards and even a desk (great for remote working). Comfy bedding and selection of white towels. Nice distance from the city and quiet space with parking that makes it the best for little escapes. Good WiFi connection and polite staff and cleaners too :)

Would recommend adding a breakfast option purely as its above a pub so to have that would make sense!

I enjoyed my stay at The Lugger Inn. The staff were friendly and efficient ; the excellent food was freshly cooked ; the beer was 1st Class. And they put me in a team for the Quiz Night which was great fun - we came 3rd ! Overall my stay was EXCELLENT - thank you !

It was a lovely old pub, beautifully decorated. Absolutely loved the spa bath in the room.

Was expecting it to be located close to the Coastal footpath, my misunderstanding.

The pub was well run with many features to make me feel welcome. The Saturday music session was exceptional. So many locals using the inn gave it a warm friendly atmosphere. All the staff were friendly. Helpful and made the family atmosphere.

A very bad nights sleep ( room 13) on extremely hard mattresses. Reduced stay and checked out early due the bed/mattress. Such a shame.

The friendliness and helpfulness of every single member of staff was outstanding. The room was as comfortable as could be and the meal we had was delicious.

The room was a bit of a let down but we only paid £103 for the night so expectations were not high anyway. Rooms are in the loft with a narrow bathroom that had just a sink and toilet. There is no shower. It's always novel to have a bath in the actual bedroom which does have a shower attachment but water goes everywhere if you try to shower so best lay in the bath and have a 'horizontal' shower! That said it's a very narrow bath so lying in it is a squash and I'm not a big built guy. The rooms are in a loft style converted part of the building so mind your head! Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and lights but otherwise clean. All that said we have to remember it was cheap compared to everywhere else and we had no visions or grandeur!

Lovely cozy property in a quiet village! The restaurant below had delicious food! Great areas to sit outside. Clean comfortable rooms. Lovely staff! Would happily stay here again!

There was no breakfast option. It would be great to be able to order breakfast while we were there as the closest food items was still a 5 min drive.

It was good to have parking and be able to stay in the bar when we didn't fancy venturing out.

The room was very hot could do with extra plug sockets in the room. The shower was cold sometimes.

Looks lively online large amount of guest arrived at 4:38 after travelling all day food not served to 5 o’clock not suggested to take seats or get drinks before hand , just shown room and key everything closed by 10 during the week no atmosphere whatever, looks great online and busy wasn’t what we experienced or expected Lots of stairs to room .

The property did not have a designated parking area available for hotel guests. When we arrived there was a band playing and absolutely no parking within a quarter mile. We had to park our vehicle down the road with all our luggage in it until later in the evening

Grundsätzlich eine nette , ruhige Gegend. Gemütlich eingerichtet, nur das Bett hatte nicht die Größe eines Doppelbettes.

Lovely location tucked away in a quiet spot approx 10mins drive from Weymouth. Although in a small residential area - you would never know! Staff were very friendly especially Chloe. Food 10/10 & Quiz night was fun

7am wake up call from the lorry who came to empty the glass bottles right under our window. Small suggestion would be for bins to be put at end of the road away from the accommodation on that day? It gave us all quite a fright.

Een heel toffe pub. De kamer was zeer in orde. Communicatie met de eigenaar was prima, hij belde ons op om af te spreken ivm diner en uur van aankomst. Lekker gegeten. Goede tips voor ontbijtmogelijkheden. Wel auto nodig om weg te geraken. Gezellige zaak waar locals komen

Badkamer nogal klein. Maar wel in orde. Rij afstand naar Weymouth verder dan verwacht, en daar parkeergeld betalen.

It was perfect for our needs . Good traditional locals pub with good food and excellent friendly staff with great thoughtful communications.

Of If I had to be picky I would say the bed was a bit lacking with the mattress.

The room was incredibly hot, with a very small fan that did nothing really. Had to sleep next to the window but still didn't sleep well. Key to my room didn't unlock the outside door either, luckily a member of staff was still on site so I could get in. If they hadn't been there I'm not sure how I would have got back into the hotel as the pub phone was inside the bar with no one to answer it.

Excellent place with a cosy pub and very friendly staff that helped us to sort out our flat tyre. Would highly recommend this place.

The room was very clean and quiet, you could order food from the bar for lunch or dinner if you wish as it is a pub. It had good facilities a fan being very warm weather that helped, tea/coffee biscuits water tv, all in the room and hairdryer, ironing board available etc Nice Village location for Weymouth and the surrounding area.

It would have been nice to have breakfast in the pub but it was room only. There was nothing not to like.

The only issue was some of the rooms are in what was the loft space,and on a hot day they could do with air con.

Extremely helpful and very friendly staff, good food and prompt service, great value for money with a good location.

Unfortunately as most if the rooms are above te pub, gettting any early nights sleep wont be easy, , during my stay friday and Saturday night was very noisy from customers outside even after the pub was shut, so I would say if like a quiet early night gettign to sleep before 12:30/010 this may not be a what you are looking for, cannot comment on mid week stays.

Staff are great and couldn't be more helpful, my room was lovely. Although no air con a fan was provided which kept me more than cool as I stayed during the recent heat wave. I would recommend and hope to stay again. No breakfast options on site but plenty of options a short drive away

Clean and tidy. Good shower and bath come with towels and a powerful hairdryer.

They won’t have cleaning service every day. We stayed there for 2 nights. No cleaning services.

My team stayed while working away and everyone enjoyed staying their rooms and taking advantage of the facilities, such as the jacuzzi bath in the room. Rooms were beautifully decorated too.

Great location and room

The pub is great, although the beer prices were a tad high. The rooms were well appointed and clean, although the matress in room 13 were terrible. You could feel and hear all the springs when you moved. That was the only negative about our stay.

Pub atmosphere

We have stayed here at least 4 times now and each time you see how much everyone pulls together to make this place better and offer a great experience. Rooms are comfortable some even have Spa Baths. The visit for the Cheese Chilli and Cider festival is always a great weekend to celebrate this great pub with the locals. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Really welcoming place, country pub feel in village location. Great food, and plenty of evening activities (Book reading and quiz night when I was there, but also aware they do Band nights too). Nice accommodation - well maintained

My room was quite small and en-suite was tight in space. Whilst enough to manage, I was on my own. As a double room it would’ve been really difficult to accommodate 2 people comfortably. Bed wasn’t overly comfortable.

The food was excellent. The bar was nice and lively for a village location. Will stay again if in the area
