It really lacked atmosphere,,, the bar wasn’t open and the restaurant looked empty,,, such a shame…. The hotel seemed quite busy but most of guests ( including myself) were using the lovely pub ( The Swan ) opposite

Bathroom smelt of damp and generally needed a revamp.. not keen on showers in the bath as not so easy to get in and out.

Nice hotel in quiet location just over the river from the town centre. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. On quieter mornings the breakfast was cooked to order rather than a buffet but still a very quick service. Room was clean and comfortable - there seemed to be air conditioning in the room but I did not need to use it.

The breakfast was good. Much better presented than last time. Staff were efficient. Location of hotel , convenient for motorway, train and airport. Also for walking along the river and close to shops if required.

The bed seems worse for wear. I used to live in the area so would like to see more info on what to do in local area, eg: how to access river, historical Runnymede Park and others , war memorial.

Good location for Windsor etc. Comfy beds and rooms have everything you need for a short stay. Staff friendly and great breakfast. Car parking available round the back of the hotel.

If I had to be picky, it would be that it could be a little cleaner but it was acceptable.

The room was large, bright, clean. The staff welcoming and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Easy access to everything shops, station and had a big carpark.

I lobed my executive room! The bed was comfortable and the facilities were very clean. Lots of storage space and the ironing board & iron was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff were friendly and kind.

The shower/bath was not very hot but managable.

Family booking - me, my daughter, 2 kids and a baby for a stopover. Our family room was spacious and comfortable even with all of us. Lovely service at breakfast time - nothing too much trouble. Also appreciated easy parking at such a lovely location.

The property was incredibly well located for our trip to Thorpe Park

It was a bit tatty around the edges, could do with a paint and tidy up but generally fine and clean.

It was very clean and well organised. Especially the shower area. Breakfast was very good and tasty. We had the full English and omelette. Compliments to the chef.

The only thing was the breakfast chairs which are quite low and covered to the floor with a stretchy material that I was afraid to trip up on but wasn’t an issue for me. More an observation.

Its a nice looking hotel,room was ok.

It only has an indian restaurant so you have to go elsewhere for food (i dont like indian) or eat Indian every night. Very poor option. Its also very noisy at the front,the road and people visiting the resuarant all hours. Lots of loud foreign voices and cars revcing, music blaring etc. Till gone 11.30pm

The staff were all friendly and helpful and ensured that I was comfortable in a suitable ‘accessible’ room. Everywhere was clean and the air conditioning was great & much needed! The location was perfect. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

There is nothing I didn’t like. This is the second time I have stayed at The Boleyn recently and it was great both times.

Thank-you so much for my two night stay here and already looking forward to staying again! I was so happy with my room! It had air-con so I could adjust temp and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was modern and outfitted perfectly, both shower and bath were brilliant. Love the location, quiet and peaceful street. Also want to highlight the staff members I encountered: all friendly, helpful and easy to approach. Really kind team here. Loved the unlimited breakfast too! Sausages, bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, beans, tomatoes all done perfectly with continental options available too plus the juices and tea/coffee. So happy!

Quiet location and plenty of parking. Staff were helpful. Food in the Indian restaurant was delicious! We stayed two nights, the Friday morning breakfast was cooked to order but buffet style on the Saturday. Would be nicer if always cooked to order.

We had a room on the ground floor with walk-in shower which had been requested; unfortunately some kind of fans (possibly extractor) were right outside the window. We would have preferred being told about this.

We only booked The Boleyn Hotel for one night as we were visiting Thorpe Park, but I genuinely wish I’d booked a week! We booked three rooms for our group — a twin room, conveniently located on the ground floor, and two Executive Superking rooms. All three were absolutely spotless, incredibly spacious and had their own en-suite bathrooms, additional seating and tables, dressing tables and loads of storage space. Even the bedside cabinets were huge! The beds deserve a special mention — absolutely enormous and ridiculously comfortable. The rooms were also incredibly quiet, with no noise disturbing us at all. Genuinely one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. The staff were lovely from start to finish. Friendly, welcoming and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent too. There was a lovely buffet selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, toast, fruit juice, tea and coffee, followed by a cooked breakfast made fresh to order. Everything was lovely and there was plenty of choice. The location was perfect for us, only around a 5-minute drive from Thorpe Park. I’d also highly recommend the pub just over the road for food and a drink by the river — a lovely spot to sit and relax in the evening. I honestly couldn’t fault our stay. Spotlessly clean, huge comfortable and quiet rooms, fantastic beds, lovely staff, great breakfast and an ideal location. We chose The Boleyn simply because we needed somewhere convenient for Thorpe Park, but it ended up being a genuinely lovely part of our trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay again — although next time I think one night might have to become a few!

The hotel had no atmopshere, felt like a morgue to be honest. The room air con did not really make much difference The breakfast was very disappointing seeing as it was advertised as very good breakfast. The full english did not have enough food on the plate, the hashbrowns had been deep fried to a crisp. So very limited, and felt uncomfortable eating in there,. Family room had some issues, only stayed one night to just got on with it. I'd pick other hotels over this one.

Nice entrance to hotel. Receptionist very welcoming and room was ready for our arrival. Room was on 1st floor (along some winding corridors, but directions very well signposted). The room was comfortable (Room 217 facing onto street). Decent size bathroom with quite a powerful shower and nice towels etc. Breakfast was included in price which was very much welcomed, and good choice for price. Selection of Cereals/fresh juices/croissants/fruit/tea/coffee etc (help yourself) and cooked breakfast options available - orders taken and delivered to table. Housekeeping staff very pleasant, always saying 'good morning' and very happy to tidy room, as and when required, as well as providing fresh towels etc if required. We would certainly recommend the hotel and hopefully will return again. It is close to Staines city centre and facing a beautiful pub 'the Swan' located looking onto the river which was really nice and handy for meals etc.

Nothing really - as overall very happy with our stay!!!!! 😁. Possibly leave more than one toilet roll..... just to save having to ask🤣🤣. Perhaps (and only a suggestion.... some seeded/crusty type bread or bagel would be nice option and a 'coffee machine') but that is just being very, very pedantic the price paid we were more than happy with the breakfast on offer and really couldn't fault it.

I had an accessible room with excellent facilities including aircon which was invaluable. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were varied, plentiful and tasty and the food in the restaurant was some of the best I have tasted. There is a large car park and the hotel is in a great location.

Nice full English breakfast (as well as fruit, croissants, cereals etc) and we loved the authentic Indian food at the hotel also, very tasty!

Big room for two adults and a teenage girl. She could still have privacy. There was room for a proper single bed as well as a double and also a settee. Air condition was very good. Breakfast lovely.

A perfect location after a long haul flight from Australia. A short 15 minute drive from the airport. The area is quiet so we got a good sleep. The breakfast was excellent.

The Boleyn Hotel was brilliant, very good value for money and family friendly. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom had a separate bath and shower. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic too!

Air conditioning meant sleep came easier and the beds were super comfortable. The staff were very nice and even brought us drinks to the room when we asked. The location was great for us too. The car park was a huge perk. All around was a positive experience.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer war nicht ganz so sauber. Wir mussten das Hotel wegen unserer Weiterreise um 7.30 verlassen und es gab nicht die Möglichkeit zu frühstücken weil der Koch erst um 08.00 zu arbeiten beginnt. Das Frühstück war im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen - und uns wurde auch nichts erstattet.

My only real complaint is that, the bed was far too soft for my personal preference, snd thus I did not sleep well.

The location was great. There was adequate parking.

The internal photos were clearly taken when the hotel was renewed some time ago, although the facilities were perfectly clean, the hotel was very dated, and in need of an updating. One thing I find difficult to understand is why do so many hotels not provide different duvets for different seasons. We had to remove the very thick winter duvet, and sleep just under the cover, which was cold, but better than roasting.

We had a lovely room with a four poster bed although it did not have a canopy overhead but it did have an emaculate bathroom. Staff were very helpful throughout our visit. Dining room was set up well, with large concertina doors. Breakfast was a full english, well cooked, with fruit, toast and cereals. My only negativity was stair carpets were threadbare in places and wall paper in our room could do with re pasting in places.

The room size was excellent. King bed and a single bed, safe, table and chairs, desk and mirror, large bathroom with waterfall shower, wardrobe, iron, hairdryer. Free parking and breakfast were included in our package. Good quality buffet breakfast with hot and cold items. Lovely bar with indoor and outdoor seating available. Location amazing, very beautiful and a few steps from the Thames and a lovely pub opposite too. Staff are nice.

The bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable. The television didn't work. There were a few things else, some unfinished wire coverings, the batteries loose next to the safe, curtains didn't fully shut. Considering the price and location, it was a very good find.

Location of property is very good and a decent size car park

I booked an executive room went to the room and nothing executive about it. it was a standard bedroom air conditioning didn’t work. No fridge When we checked out the cleaners were cleaning room opposite and that was the executive room. Very different to ours and very dissatisfied.

The beakfast was very good. The staff were very polite and considerate. The hotel was very close to where I was visiting. The car park was spacious and it was easy to use. The building itself is quite beutiful. The decor and fittings were nice too

The sloping roof in the top room was a bit restrictive where the toilet was placed.

Great little hotel within a stones throw from the Thames. Located in a quiet charming street. The bed was very comfortable, rooms clean and good value for money.

The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The food from the restaurant was ok, not to my liking, but the family likes Indian food. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of food and drinks for all. The room was clean and tidy and well presented.

Sadly, the bed was really uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on concrete and boney. The room was clean, tidy BUT the bathroom.. the shower screen leaks!! badly!! there was more water on the floor than in the bath, the shower head sprayed in all different directions other than down! one even hits the door and gets the door soaking wet. Glad there were enough towels to mop the floor.

Magdalena On reception was lovely, friendly and so helpful to us.

We had to move rooms twice, due to one being very noisy with a generator that was having problems below our window and the second, because the bed had a dip in the middle and was horribly soft and lumpy.

Magda on reception again did her best to help us and was lovely.

Second stay within a 10 day period and as per the previous stay we had to move rooms again! Shocking.. The window panes in the very old window behind the glazing were loose along with a wire that had become free causing noise on and off all through the night whenever it became windy, so next to no sleep. The lovely Magda moved us to a much better and quiet room the next day with a comfy bed and we slept well.
