The room was beautiful and extremely spacious, the bathroom was very large and had a tub with a beautiful view. The marble finishes were stunning. We were greeted with petals on our bed, and to celebrate our honeymoon, the hotel gifted us a heart-shaped cake and a bottle of champagne! We also loved the professional photo shoot service - 7 photos were complimentary and you could purchase more if you wish! The pools were great, with a nice warm water temperature and the beach was also beautiful. We enjoyed the excursions and experiences available such as the snorkelling.

Beautiful hotel, clean, friendly staff.
Nothing but 40 minutes from any towns
The garden villa was the worst room we’ve stayed. My husband and I both caught bacterial infections two days after check-in. The private pool was filthy with bugs and insects. The room smelled of mildew and mold.
St Regis was fabulous from start to finish. Check in was smooth and assisted by Andy who explained everything in perfect English for us. He took time to escort us to our room which had been upgraded to a sea view, took our breaths away. Room was huge, clean and beautiful bathroom with sunken bath. Breakfast was delicious and a huge range of delights for all nationalities, nothing was too much trouble in every part of this superb building. Special mention for Andy who liased with Atlantis for our dinner one evening and even arranged a special Birthday package, service was beyond our expectations and he made our whole stay beautiful. We would not hesitate visiting again to paradise.

Jó helyen, gyönyörűen parkosított, karbantartott területen helyezkedik el. Tisztaság van mindenhol, nagyok jól berendezettek a szobák. Kivételesen jó reggeli. Segítőkész személyzet.
A napozóágyak lehetnének kényelmesebbek, a wi-fi gyengélkedik.
Quite area
No pillows on sunbeds, poor choice of healthy food, poor choice of food in private dining, no service near pool and beach.

Breakfast is average! Location is good!
Breakfast can be better in both organization and quality of food.
A nice aspect on the ocean front and gardens.
For a western brand of hotel, very poor level of English spoken by most of the staff. Swimming pool seating was limited and main pool, secondary pool (mainly for kids) was closed, so very busy with children. Variety of restaurants pretty lacking for a resort and quality of food, ok but nothing special.
The room is big, the staff were super friendly. Especially our butler Miss Luna, she is super kind and professional. The central pool was heated.
The gym is a bit small and the breakfast was so so.
Incredibile quality for value. St Regis is always great especially for the service . Especially Luna and the rest of the butler team were incredibile to make our stay unforgettable. Unfortunately, the swimming pool area and beach area both need a renovation as there are some things that are not st regis standard such as worn off towels.

Tucked away between the mountains on three sides, and the sea on the fourth, this resort is a serene sanctuary designed for relaxation and renewal. The experience was elevated by an incredibly attentive staff, a daily delivery of delicious fresh fruit, and the availability of a personal butler for each room. I was particularly impressed by two individuals: Luna, who greeted me at check-in with genuine warmth, and swiftly upgraded me to a breathtaking suite with a stunning water view (Room 2811). Throughout my stay, my room attendant, Nie Xiaoren, ensured my suite was flawlessly cleaned with a consistently friendly and helpful demeanor. Together, Luna and Nie Xiaoren were instrumental in creating an unforgettable and deeply enjoyable visit.

The villa was great. At 520 a night great value
Camera Bella e spaziosa. Spiaggia pulita. Forse troppi bambini….
Nice lagoon room. Pools were nice. Beautiful beach.
Staff was not very friendly. Was difficult to get along with English. Everyone was thinking we were Russian just because we are western. The pools are beautiful but not good maintained. A lot of old flowers are in the water and there are a lot of particles swimming around in the water. Concierge service is not how it should be. When I asked the concierge to make a reservation for me in an Italien restaurant in the city ( because we do not speak Chinese) the concierge answered to me : “ You can call the number on the internet side to make a reservation”. This was surely not the answer I expected from a concierge. Many more things that happened are not likely for a 5 star hotel like the St. Regis so I was really disappointed during my 6 day stay there.
Territory, food, staff and spa!!!

The breakfast had poor selection, and was constantly too crowded. Amost every single time I got up to get more food, someone had already cleaned my whole table meaning I had to wait for someone to re set it. Food was mostly just bland and boring.
It was great! Green, lush, beautiful!
Big hotel. No convince store
Caroline was Amazing and a Testimonial to the Hotel
The resort is large and has nice public area. The room was spacious. The beach is fine. However the service was quite disappointing. The butler was not responsive. It was hard to get late check-out even as a Titanium member, which is fine if the hotel was busy. However I never got confirmation from the butler when she said she would check. When I checked with the reception desk myself, they did 1pm so reluctantly with an attitude I didn’t appreciate. The other requests, I also needed to check more than once to get updates. There was zero protectiveness. The only highlight of the service is from the waitresses in the hotel restaurants. It was such a big contrast when I stayed at Edition Sanya where the service was outstanding.
St. Regis is a royal luxury hotel! I had an amazing experience! Thank you to everyone who created and continues to keep the brand.
my opinion is that the service can sometimes be made even better :)
Overall the stay was good, And we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, but there a few drawbacks and inconsistencies. Marriott BonVoy members should consider carefully. We stayed at the Garden view Villa which was huge and had its own inground pool. The room itself was extremely clean and everything was functional and did not look dated. However, The layout was a bit odd since we had a king bed in one room along with a shower and bath, and the a completely separated living room which you had to access by walking outside and using the house key. It seems like it would be set up for two separate bedrooms but one is functioning as a living room and kitchenette. In the our villa outdoor pool area the jacuzzi was completely not functioning and there was no water at all. When we commented, they suggested that they can fill it for us if we wanted but it just seemed like too much trouble and probable time waste. We were not offered welcome points and when I complained about it they simply didn't respond to my comment at all. When I asked about an upgrade as a titanium elite member they offered us a seaside villa for one night out of three, but we had to pay the additional cost which isn't really an upgrade at all. The room itself was not ready when we arrived even though I had checked in the day before using the Marriott app and selected a 2pm checkin. They compensated us with a free coffee and one cocktail at the beach bar. When I summarize my complaint points in a WeChat message they then gave us a bit of additional attention over the next few days including providing one free bottle of champagne and a fruit platter which was sent to our room. I felt that the team members genuinely cared about providing us a nice experience but the resort itself was not as flexible. I have to give a special shout out to the staff from Malaysia who made an absolutely perfect Bloody Mary for me on Day 2. They didn't have any canned tomato juice but he sent to the kitchen and made it fresh for me with actual tomatoes. Speaking of which, the food quality was outstanding throughout and a particular highlight was the buffet breakfast at the Villa brunch location located seaside. In terms of swimming facilities only one of the main outdoor pools was open which was actually the one smaller pool with a view of the sea. The other main pool located closer to the villas is more intricately designed but it was not open. Not sure why but I suppose during the lower season it's too cost prohibitive to run. The Beach itself felt pleasantly isolated in the view was fantastic of the surrounding Bay area. There is a limited swimming area but it was sufficient. They were not many guests attending the beach area and as a result the seating selection there is quite limited. Additional seating is available up the small stairs with still a nice view of the bay and the beach. Note that the swim up bar at the main pool was not functioning and look like it had been shut down for many a month. The escalators which help you to move up and down the multi-level floor at the main lobby we're also shut down with cobwebs and a look of general disuse for many months as well. The elevators function perfectly well however. There was a small petting zoo and cart track as well as a movie theater but we didn't try any of them. Regarding price and value overall I felt it was a bit overpriced but still luxurious enough to warrant the spend. Note that we booked the room via the Marriott app and I found other online options to be lower cost by quite a bit. When I called the hotel to ask why that was so they advised me that if you book via the other third party apps you don't get any night credit and you don't get any Marriott points. I felt it was a bit of a disservice to Marriott members to be honest.
I had a wonderful stay. I was so comfortable. The service was excellent. My butler always answered me quickly on WeChat. I loved the free daily yoga and pilates classes. I'll definitely come back in the future.
Their coffee tastes odd...
We took our baby to Sanya for vacation this winter. The hotel has many children's programs. We participated in children's golf. The coach John was in charge and was very patient. He taught the baby how to operate the golf clubs in detail. The baby had a great time. A very good experience. Five-star praise!
What an experience. The hardware of this hotel is stunning, the butlerservice is simply great. Especially thanks and recognition to Betty and Caroline. I have been there with my wife. The level of luxury is amazing. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. The service mindness is obvious and refreshing. If you want a fantastic holiday on all levels, go to this property. I will return for sure. The beach, the swimming pools, the restaurants, the entertainment, the stunning scenery, the interior, the quality, the friendliness of the staff, the rooms…simply everything is great. Is absolutely worth the price. One of the best hotels in 35 years permanent business travel…..absolutely top.
My mother and my experience at St Regis Sanya Yalong Bay Resort was greatly elevated after Mr Morgan 莫 voluntarily drove us around in the hotel buggy and gave us a detailed introduction of the hotel grounds. It is because of staff like him that keeps hotel guests delighted. The hotel room was within our expectation of a good hotel. However, Ming Xuan restaurant's beef quality in their 河粉 was poor and could not be swallowed as the beef consists of tendon only. Their fish was not fresh too. We have provided feedback to the waitress and hope that their restaurant could improve their standard in future.
Our stay at the St Regis was lovely but there’s room for improvement. Although there are aspects of luxury and, from time to time, that “special touch” one would expect from a high end hotel and resort, there were also things any 5* hotel should easily get right for a better customer experience. We stayed for a long weekend in a lagoon pool access room and it was beautiful. The rooms were large, clean and luxurious and relaxing. The lagoon pool was clean and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Highly recommend booking the lagoon access room. The resort is well maintained and has many facilities such as the 2 pools (one with a massive sun shade) and the other with an infinity pool, a well equipped exercise fitness room, day spa and a few restaurants. It even has a small go kart track, bumper cars and a cinema. There are a few dining options but not all were available and their actual closing times weren’t clear. There’s a steak and seafood restaurant (Driftwood), an outdoor bbq restaurant on the beach, a Chinese restaurant (which was really good!) and a lounge (Drawing Room - cocktails and bar snacks are great but they closed at 6:30pm on a Friday night which was really strange!). We also got room service the first night we arrived and it arrived hot. Expect to pay luxury 5* hotel prices for food. We had breakfast included at the Social and it had a huge variety of Asian and western breakfast options as well as oat milk for those with intolerances which was appreciated. Not a lot of activities were offered or run unlike other resorts so if you’re happy to lie by the beach, pool or your lagoon access room then this resort might be ok for you but if you are after a resort that entertains and engages you then go elsewhere. Things that can be improved or weren’t so great: - Given it’s not peak season not all restaurants were open. It would be helpful if they informed guests at check in which restaurants were open and their actual opening hours. - Given St Regis Yalong Bay is a resort, we expected daily activities being offered. There were some activities offered but it was advertised in a haphazard and inefficient way (random places around the resort with no consistency). It would have been good if activities were printed out or advertised more prominently. The electronic boards had activities that were out of date or simply not offered/run despite being advertised which was confusing and disappointing for guests. Also where is the “House of Astor” where certain activities were being offered? Still a mystery to us… - The resort seems to be smoker friendly given the ash trays put out so if you are a non smoker or do not like the smell of cigarettes I would avoid this resort. Even though there are non-smoking areas these are not policed. Our hallway would often reek of cigarette smells and those on the lounge chairs at the main infinity pool would smoke and no one would ask them to butt out even though there were little kiddies and toddlers around. Not really pleasant if you’re a non-smoker. - For lagoon pool access rooms, pool towels should be provided for guests to use. There were no pool towels so you had to use your bath towels or walk all the way to the main pool to get towels. And then ask housekeeping for more towels so you can take a shower. - We booked a room for 3 adults yet the amenities provided were clearly only set up for 2 people so we had to ring for extra things. Like many other posts, very little English is spoken here but all the staff are very friendly and have a smile on their faces and do try their best to give you a good experience. You need to be patient and having a good translating app will be your best friend.
Breakfast buffet was great, especially the service provided by Sam 涂家宁. Breakfast has great variety of choices and resort is splendid. My kid loved the beach and kids club. And the kids club organized free activities for kids every day. We had a great time.
mouth of words
The beach is not big enough and not maintained well enough
Very nice hotel with specials room and excellent service. There is a lot of activities for the kids and the environment is very family friendly. Really loved the breakfast. My butler Gary and Caroline were both very helpful and addressed all my needs and concerns. Will definitely come back in the future.
The check in process take forever. I wonder if the staff knows what they are doing. Unacceptable. Never experience at other St Regis hotels actually. I certainly believe the standard must be improved due to this is higher brand from marriot
Felix staffed the fitness room very well and made my experience very nice! The room was very well equipped and Felix taught me new exercises to improve. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. I enjoyed my time here and will definitely return!
They really pay attention to details
My room was the best thing about this hotel. Clean, spacious, cool. Bed is comfortable. Bathtub with a view! Cocktails are really strong! The hotel is located in the forest, very secluded yet the town is still close!
I didn’t like that the pool is too small for the amount of people resting there. I know they have a second pool but it wasn’t as cool as the first one. I didn’t like the quality of coffee. It tastes terribly. I always preferred to just make a nespresso one at my room.
Stayed here with my family for two days. Bob Shi, the loyalty manager took care of me during my whole stay, it was a great pleasure because he assisted me with basically everything including dinner, bubble shower, asking me about experience and excursion when during his off working time. This hotel is located in a quite area in Yalong Bay so we can enjoy the best beach in Sanya but have enough privacy at the same time. Bar and pool has amazing views and the room is one of the newest in Yalong. 40mins to 30mins driving from Sanya city, can’t wait to stay again!
This was 2 families' new year celebration trip in Sanya where we were looking forward to our stay in St Regis Sanya from 31 Dec 2023 - 2 Jan 2024. We booked 2 Marina View double rooms for the 2 nights stay. Check-in process was average, the staff didn't make their guests feel extremely welcome and just robotically checked-in per booking (unlike other highend resorts where we have experienced more personal check-in experience). As we were eager to find out what year-end activities were available at hotel so we can decide if we will reserve our NY eve dinner with St Regis (rather than venturing out of hotel), there were only 2 choices of year-end dinner options which were Chinese restaurant or year-end al fresco buffet dinner where we felt the only eagerness from check-in staff to sell the rather costly dinner at ~1200rmb/pax. We were also introduced to our butler (The only saving grace of this hotel), Kevin, and when we asked if there were usually any welcome drinks for guests at check-in, Kevin arranged for drinks for us. As we were relaxing in the lounge with our welcome drinks, overlooking the ocean from the lounge foyer, we saw the setup of the year-end dinner party and immediately felt relieved we made the decision to not book the dinner as the setting was rather tasteless. Room was double bed for my family of 3 adults, so i had to share a bed with my sister, while my mum took one bed. We were never provided any option of adding extra bed (costs never advised for this option). We slept fine despite this. Bathroom was big and spacious but the shower head was leaking throughout the 2 nights stay despite feedback. Amenities in the room was made for 2 pax and had to be topped to 3 pax only upon requests, no initiation from hotel despite knowing the occupancy as 3 adults. I did check and confirm that the room was good for 3 pax occupancy, so expected 3 pax amenities made up daily. NY eve dinner at Chinese restaurant was nice, tasty, what you would get in any decent Chinese restaurant. We were recommended to take up set meal offered on Wechat and added on ala carte dishes which worked out well for us 5 pax/2 families together. After dinner, while strolling along the hotel compound out to the beachfront, we saw fireworks go off at the far end of the beach (out of St Regis compound) as we had been informed earlier in the day that fireworks application were rejected by the government on NY eve at St Regis. Bad luck for us. We also decided to have a drink at the beachfront bar, where a year end music medley/music deejaying party (of course at a cost to hotel guests of ~500rmb/pax) was held for paying guests only. We somehow managed to find some seats out of the party zone where we could still order ala carte drinks. We ordered gin tonic (if i didn't remember wrongly, it was slightly less than 100rmb), we were served the drinks in plastic cups, photo shown. The presentation was worse than any cafes would have served their complimentary water in, let alone my expectation of a cocktail from a decent bar! I also include a photo of the gin tonic where we ordered from Hilton Haikou a few days later to show the contrast of the presentation of the same drink, not to mention the gin tonic at Hilton Haikou was also cheaper than St Regis's. We were accompanied by boring singer singing monotonous 70s and before songs. Even as the deejay tried to hype up the atmosphere, she was met with multiple power trips where we found out from staff the next day that it was due to the hotel's first attempt at holding a year end countdown party that explained the bad put-up of display of performances and unpreparedness. As we put across all the disappointing experiences of day 1 of St Regis stay to our butler Kevin, he was patient and took in the feedback one-by-one and tried to rectify as much as he could in order to improve our experience with our stay. While he offered a room change for the faulty and leaky showerhead (which we rejected since we do not think much will change even with a view change to Ocean View), complimentary 2 sets of hi-tea for our whole group, complimentary transfers from CDF, we really appreciated all these extra miles he provided. The hi-tea was a total disappointment as we saw a grand display of more than 80% of overly sweet and rather tasteless desserts (again, not the usual hi-tea we would have experienced in other 5-star hotels where we will see a good mix of tasty savoury and sweet snacks/dishes). There was an overwhelmingly large quantity of sweet items, not to mention, 2 hot chocolates/2 ice chocolates which were totally tasteless. The worst was the green christmas tree cake where i bit into acryllic bits! I initially wanted to pass it off as eggshells, which was just as bad, but upon scrutiny, they were indeed acryllic pieces! I couldn't believe what I ate and immediately called the lounge manager to clarify what I just found. He also confirmed after looking into the pieces that they were indeed foreign material, not belonging to any cooking materials, where was found. As we spoke more with lounge manager, Dennis Ooi, we realised that the array of hi-tea was quite the local palettes where quantities and displays were kind of the priority in most hotel chains offering hi-tea in Yalong Bay (something all of us, where we come from South East Asia, as travelers who experienced other 5-star resorts cultures, cannot quite fathom). Dennis did assure us that he is working to try to turn this culture into a more international experience as much as his experience of working in other Marriott hotels bring to him but as he was also fairly new in the role, it will take time. In compensation, he and butler Kevin worked to provide complimentary meals for the rest of our stay in St Regis where we really appreciated. Breakfast in St Regis again was one of HUGE spread of lacklustre dishes without any unique point in taste or much reflection of Hainan culture, except for Hainan noodles. Taste was average but nothing to rave or complain about. Again in one of the "green" sweet item where my group ate, another even bigger piece of acryllic found. We really wondered if there was issue with the same batch of green-like batter that had any mishandling that cause us to bite into similar acryllic material on 2 seperate occasions on 2 consecutive days. This was really unacceptable, again we had to feedback to butler Kevin (by sending the photo of the foreign acryllic material in the items eaten) to let him know this disappointing and harrowing experience, imagine the dire consequence if someone ingested the sharp end of the acryllic material and could potentially cause catastrophic results. Not to mention, our companion who bit into this material was over 80 years in age. Totally unimaginable. By this time, it was no longer about any further compensation that could salvage our poor experience with this hotel, we really just wanted to make sure that hotel staff and management hear about these bad experiences time and again during the short 3 days span and work on improving the points one-by-one. We were eventually mediated with butler Kevin by a discount of the hotel stay (we paid twice of the usual hotel rates due to the year end peak rates) and complimentary meals, except for the set meal where we were sold into ordering at the Chinese restaurant during NY eve. Other than that, we were left with no apology letter, no further words from hotel management on our constant feedback. One major reason we went with this hotel was the renowned hotel chain name, but to leave with such bitter tastes in our experience with St Regis Sanya Yalong Bay. There were other choices in Yalong Bay we could have chosen but our choice with St Regis left us feeling very uneventful and absolutely resolute that we will never return to another St Regid, even if the hotel management will be an entirely different team. We also refuse to ruin our year end holiday by our stay with St Regis and went on to have more pleasant stays with Crowne Plaza Sanya City Center and Hilton Haikou where they may not be as prestigious in Hainan as compared to St Regis Sanya in name, and cost less of a fraction of what we spent in St Regis. Much much better in all aspects than St Regis Sanya in our opinions. My personal opinion to anyone who will read this review is that if you are an international traveler and looking to find a nice resort in Sanya, please avoid St Regis for the time being, unless you are purely looking for just staying in the room and not stepping out, not ordering any food. I am really unsure if there will be any concrete actions where the hotel will take or any changes that butler Kevin, lounge manager Dennis can effect in the near term, you are better off some other resorts. The fact that I have spent this effort to write this long long review is my sincere wish to St Regis Sanya to improve. Hope St Regis can take time to review and fix all the problems where this group of travelers have pointed out so that you can benefit your future travelers with better services, rather than having more disgruntled customers going forward. All the best St Regis Sanya Yalong Bay.
Almost everything, nice and quite, good food, beds are good as well.
You need to increase number of umbrellas and sun beds at the beach, now it’s only 4 umbrellas there, so the demand is high.
The pool and room was nice.
Honestly not a pleasant stay. 1. Our rooms were ready much later than 3:00pm and the reception staff kept giving us different room numbers. 2. The staff overall were passive aggressive. The construction site downstairs was really load and no one alerted us about this. They gave us a “gift” to make up for the noise, and the “gift” for 4 people is just 1 shell necklace in total (not one each). 3. The resort beach is small and the water was rough. We travel from Australia and got smashed by the waves multiple times that we were all wounded. Overall, did not receive the service that should match the money we paid for.
Breakfast are not meet my expectation, not delicious, public facilities on beach and swimming pool are too expensive which is free in other 5 start hotel.
The pillow are too soft and has no options.
Breakfast, Ocean swims
Lights were flashing in our room - they need to fix some electrical issues. But we received an free high tea for our trouble which was nice!
rooms are nice
cleanliness of beach is very bad
The structure is beatiful, there is a lot of green, trees, flowers, all well maintained.
The staff are very kind and make their best effort, but they obviously need training, they lack very basic training skill and in particular hygiene standards to follow. The cleaning of the "beach area" with sunbeds was poorly done, several pieces of garbage could be seen around. The food at the buffet was acceptable, but I would expect better quality in a 5 star hotel. Waiting time, after ordering food a la carte in the hotel restaurants was extremly long most of time. The light in the walking closet was defective, they repaired it 3 times, finally we gave up, it was on the whole night.
The breakfast was amazing! The balcony view was stunning! It was quiet and peaceful. The rooms were glorious. The butler we were assigned was very good at his job. The main area of the hotel was very well maintained. The gym facilities were more than enough to get a solid workout in. The staff were friendly. You can even order food delivery if you want to save some money. They also offer onsite PCR testing which was very handy indeed. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, clean and a delight with a free minibar included in the price.
Minor criticism but the back part of the hotel seems a little more rundown (dusty, peeling paint, a smashed barrier) than the fantastically maintained very 5 star looking front part. A lick of paint wouldn’t go amiss to maintain the high standard but as our room was not located there, it wasn’t an eyesore and it didn’t impact the wonderful experience we had overall.
The service was excellent and the team were incredibly helpful and always followed up. Gardens and landscaping amazing and heated pool area a real bonus. Beach area needed to be cleaned as plastic bottles, garbage and construction waste dotted along the front of the hotel beach area.
Was OK. Service, at a 5-start level, was lacking. Only one staff - Cedric - went out of his way to be of service. Not sure I’d spend the money again.
The hotel was lovely. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and was in great shape. The pools were nice and surprisingly uncrowded for the size of the resort and the number of guests we saw. The family/shaded pool does need a little TLC (missing tiles, some overgrown areas), but it did not take away from an overall pleasing poolside experience. The staff were courteous and prompt to help, but not all spoke English. With phone translation and basic Chinese it all worked well. The spa was incredible and we went twice during our four night stay. The least impressive aspect of the stay was the food. Overall it was quite overpriced for the quality received. I know that hotels have high food prices and I expected it, but then I also expect commensurate quality. This did not really happen and we ordered takeout once we knew we could do that instead. The beachside buffet and the breakfast were the exception to this; both were lovely. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.
Very enjoyable
The whole room area is excellent and balcony view is very enjoy
Very nice hotel and fantastic experience. Thanks very much
Very nice hotel, and very good service.
Spent three nights here to take in Yalong Bay. Resort is quite well appointed and it turns out we had some luck as the central pool was just reopened from a refurbishment as we arrived. The pool in question didn’t feel overcrowded even if the attached bar was treated as something of an afterthought. Breakfast was good if a little hectic at peak hours. Did western food at the Driftwood restaurant for a couple nights, and found it quite well executed comparatively. Went with the Oceanview balcony room which turned out to be a better option than the ground poolside one we had considered. Overall quite a nice little getaway!
But a bit noisy during at night . So can’t sleep well during my stay. A bit disappointed.
Very nice facility and great hospitality. But very far away from major viewpoints and downtown area. Might want to reconsider if convinience is valued.

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
10/10Mostly reported as very clean in multiple reviews (clean rooms, praised housekeeping), but a serious negative report about a garden villa with mildew, mold smell, filthy private pool and subsequent bacterial infections reduces the overall cleanliness score.
Service
10/10Consistently praised staff and named employees (Kevin, Andy) who provided friendly, attentive and proactive service (smooth check-in, room escort, birthday arrangements). Multiple reviews highlight excellent, helpful and polite staff, including 24h service.
Location
10/10Location repeatedly described as beautiful, park-like with beach access and ocean views; praised for setting and beachfront. Some negative notes about being remote (approx. 40 minutes from towns) balance the otherwise excellent location sentiment.
Room Quality
10/10Many reviews report large, clean, upgraded sea-view rooms and excellent bathrooms, but at least one grave report of a garden villa with mildew, mold smell and filthy private pool lowers the room-quality rating.
Amenities
10/10Good facilities noted (swimming pool, beach access, many activities like SUPs and excursions); however one private pool was filthy for a guest and there are some complaints about sunbed comfort and lack of pool/beach service in spots.
Value for Money
10/10Several guests explicitly state the hotel is worth the money and praise the overall experience and generous offerings; a few criticisms (limited restaurant variety, last-night dining choices) slightly temper perceived value.
Food and Beverage
10/10Breakfast is repeatedly praised as delicious and extensive for multiple nationalities; the on-site Chinese restaurant and fruit delivery are highlighted positively. Some guests note limited restaurant variety, poor healthy-food choices and occasional dissatisfaction with private-dining options.
Overall Experience
10/10Overall sentiment is very positive — many guests call the stay 'fabulous' or 'a slice of paradise', cite smooth service, room upgrades, memorable experiences and strong recommendations; a small number of serious negatives (room-specific cleanliness issues, limited F&B choice) do not override the generally exceptional overall experience.
