Wow — I was really impressed with the Mercure Padang. The hotel is in a great location and the property itself is lovely, with the large central pool being a particularly attractive feature. My room was beautiful and very comfortable, as was the bathroom. I stayed on the top floor and the view from my room was stunning. The restaurant food was excellent and the buffet breakfast was particularly generous, with plenty of choice. The staff were great and service was generally very quick and efficient. Overall, this was an excellent stay and I really had no complaints.

Very little. I wasn't particularly fond of the colour scheme used in the bathroom but that's entirely a matter of personal taste rather than a criticism of the facilities themselves.

The hotel met our expectations. It's one of the most comfortable stays in Padang and we are happy to come back.

Staff could use a little more training and breakfast could have more western food options.

The location right near the water and close to shops. Great views from the upper levels The food was very nice from room service.

Access to the pool area was not well signed but once you found it it was fine. Nice cafe only a 5 minute walk for a change of scenery and menu. The breakfast was at times running low on items but only a 10 minute wait until it was replenished.

Amazing place to stay. Really close to the harbour for transfers out to the Mentawai’s. Great food, really clean and well appointed rooms. Can’t rate it highly enough. Stayed on the way to and from the islands and it was unreal each time.

Fantastic rooms, very good value for money with an amazing breakfast. Bbq dinner on the way back was amazing too, great chefs and super fresh food cooked to order on the grill. Will definitely stay there again.

We stayed just one night before our early morning flight. The staff were friendly, the room was superb, the dining area was great and the food awesome. There were atms also in the hotel complex. All great.

The staff is very kind.

The air conditioners are so noisy it’s difficult to sleep while they are running, also there is also someone moving furniture above you as it seems.

Clean, nice rooms. Friendly staff. Good tasty food in the hotel. No complaints, it was pleasant.

The restaurant food took a very long time (45 min at least) to be served after ordering.

Big lobby, restaurant and bar area very roomy. Excellent food and service.

Using bottled water for everything.
