Gute Lage, alles erreichbar, aber nicht mitten im Trubel. Frühstück gut. Kaffee/Tee den gesamten Tag inkludiert.

Für 2 Personen sind ca 150 cm/160 cm Bettbreite knapp bemessen.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The satff was very helpful. The location of the hotel near the meadows and a short walk to the Royal Mile was excellent. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection.. We didn't want to leave...

Lo mejor de este Hotel es la ubicación, ya que está situado en una zona tranquila, junto a la Universidad y al Parque Medows, y muy próximo al centro de la Ciudad, en un breve y bonito paseo. La habitación es muy amplia y cuenta con todos los servicios. El desayuno es correcto.

Ruime kamer, goed ontbijt met veel keuze en vermelding van allergenen bij alle producten, keukenblokje in de kamer In centrum maar rustige omgeving.

De badkamer was geschikt voor invaliden. Daardoor was de douchekop te laag. Er was geen muurtje of gordijn dus de hele badkamer werd nat na het douchen.

員工素質有待提高。 入住當日，前台讓我等15分鐘後入住，但是等了半個小時沒有人來告知我可以入住。我再到前台詢問，卻告訴我沒有房間，起碼要等一個半小時。房間雖然大，但設計卻不算合理。

Close enough to the center, but far enough way from the crowds, breakfast was exceptional, our room was amazing loads of space and the additional kitchen area was a bonus

I was really disappointed on my visit here, it was a long time since I stayed in Edinburgh, so I booked a well known brand, with which I had Gold status and was looking forward to being pampered and feeling special - from the moment we arrived to leaving, I felt cheated. I was not recognised as a Marriot Convoy Gold member on arrival, no upgrade, nothing - I had paid £400 a night (£1,200 for the stay) - so expected something great - the reception area os also the foyer, the lunge and the restaurant, it looks more like a travel lodge or an old converted office block. There is one slow elevator for all guest, we waited for this a lot. The rooms were small and the furniture looked Ikea/less at best and was low quality, very few spaces in the bathroom to put anything, not even a glass to put my toothbrush in, and no water or anything - really terrible The products in the shower and bathroom were unheard of and just smelled of menthol - just awful and not luxury or even soapy in the slightest - we had to buy our own (on top of the insane price of the place). The room temperature was also troublesome - it was 20 degrees during our visit with the evenings around 10 degrees, so not a heat wave or tropical weather - but the top floor was like a sauna, we left the window open, but then were disturbed by local noises all hours. An zircon unit was in the room but central above the TV and pointing directly at the bed - whatever setting or temperature we set it to, it was freezing cold or off - no in-between - this really made the wheel experience even worse. A bottle of complimentary water, or a biscuit would have been nice - but no, nothing. Our room was also left uncleaned for the second day - we vacated it and went out for a day trip to the Kelpies from 1300 onwards - and came back at 1900 to find it had not been touched - a real kick in the proverbials given we paid £400 a night. I asked on two occasions if there were any better rooms and even had to be uncomfortable and raise that I was a Gold member for them even to acknowledge me - and then say, sorry, we have nothing for you/can't help (but they gladly took all my money!). I live in Geneva, and it is very expensive there - but for £400 a night you can get a large superior double in the four seasons on the lake - here you get a converted office block a 20 minute walk from town (at least), a view of some other apartments/offices at best and very little in terms of comfort - certainly not a grand Marriott experience - just be prepared to be underwhelmed at every turn. If they charged £150 a night, this would be a reasonable deal and place to stay - not a penny more - don't waste your money.

The room was very nice and clean.

The client service was … confusing. You pay a good amount of money and I guess the room makes it worth it but the people were a bit nonchalant. I couldn’t understand the lady who checked us in, she didn’t even say hi when we arrived and didn’t look me in the eyes when she would speak. I had to ask for her to repeat everything she said because she wouldn’t articulate, I was a little frustrated to be honest. Nothing was explained to us, there are qr codes everywhere if you want information which is good and nice but I really missed the connection to people, being taken care of just a tiny little bit is also part of checking into a nice hotel, or so I thought. When we checked out, I asked if everything was in order, they said yes, I received an email 10 minutes later asking us to come back because we didn’t pay for the the dog ( yes because its “dog friendly” but you have to pay 10 dollars for every night you stay which … is ridiculous to be honest. And your dog isn’t allowed to come to breakfast with you either.)

Parcheggio non incluso nel prezzo. L'unico parcheggio coperto vicino costa la bellezza di 30£ al giorno. Ascensore che si muoveva sulla base della chiamata. Se eri al primo piano e dovevi raggiungere la hall ma qualcuno chiamava l'ascensore dal settimo, finivi al settimo e finchè tutti non dovevano raggiungere lo stesso piano si continuava a fare su e giù. Camere poco insonorizzate, si sentivano tutti i rumori dei vicini.

Great large room and bonus with the kitchenette. Plenty space for 3 adults sharing. Really comfortable beds.

The breakfast was really good and a lot to choose from but the coffee shop area where you eat it needs to be a bit bigger.

Amazing location (especially for graduation). Great that we could take our dog and that the reception staff were so lovely to her. Room was spotless and bed super comfortable.

Only the price, but that’s because it was a graduation weekend. Another lift would have been nice!

Det var veldig sentralt, men fremdeles utenfor bråk og mas. Trygg parkering i nabobygget (Q-park kjeller). Fine og store rom med kjøleskap og egen sittegruppe hvor vi kunne samles alle 5. Behjelpelige ansatte. Gangavstand til mange severdigheter og restauranter.

It is very smelly in the showroom , nobody check the hand soap container. We stayed two days and in short of had soap for two days . And there is not an early pick up breakfast, usually I got this service from others hotel . ( I am or sure is it a general thing in the Hotels of London , they do not prepare a pick up early breakfast for the early flight guests , perhaps just a simple sandwich with an apple is enough)

Our spacious room was very clean and well-maintained. Everything in the room worked as it should and we really appreciated the USB and USB C ports in the room. Our bed was wonderful and we both slept great! The free breakfast was awesome! So many warm and cold choices! Most definitely the best free breakfast we've had in years. The staff was wonderful! We talked to the front desk people virtually every day and they were very helpful! The hotel is within walking distance of many of Edinburgh sights and it's close to a lot of restaurants and pubs. If we come back to Edinburgh we'll come back to this hotel.

The hotel was in a lovely quiet area of Edinburgh just down the hill called Middle Meadow walk, away from the old town centre. The room we had was a Queen suite and very spacious. Breakfast was delicious & was buffet style with plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lift & luggage storage as well.

Our stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Edinburgh was truly enjoyable. The hotel was very nice and clean, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and very well-designed, offering more than everything we needed. It was fully equipped with useful amenities such as an oven, toaster, microwave, and more, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. In terms of location, the hotel is not right in the heart of the Royal Mile. However, this actually turned out to be a positive aspect, as it gave us the opportunity to explore different parts of Edinburgh while walking to the hotel. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel

The room was good it had all we needed, breakfast was good a good selection of items location was good away from the noise of the main area.

It would have been little more affordable, and the price of this property is little expensive.
