Location was good , facilities provided were good although due to old property in central location space is a constraint . Good food .

Compared to other Taj managed ( IHCL ) hotels , the crown scores just average , staffs having interface directly with clients needs training in service attitude. Feels they just want to somehow finish the job instead of quality completion . Disappointed with their attitude . Security chief Mr Shubrat Samal was of great help when my father had a fall due to Parkinson , thanks to Mr Samal’s army background , that he was having helpful and pleasant nature.

staff where very helpful. food was very very good. 10 out of 10. however read the negative comments. even those two can not deny the bitter truth of staying at the hotel.

the room was so wet all clothes, even the floor and mirror where wet. reply to my emails never done. staff where very helpful. so its no the staff but the overall management or even the idea behind the corporate thoughts of what makes a stay truly valuable.

Place was spotless and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and professional. Went beyond what I was expecting. Rooms were very clean and comfy. And to top it all off, the breakfast was excellent!

Wifi was abit of a pain to log in and on the day which I was supposed to check out, I immediately had no more access, which was very frustrating as check out time was 12PM, but it was only 6,30AM!

Our 2nd stay in 6 months and there are marked improvements at the property! Reception in arrival was as warm as the last time, with personalised care from the staff. Touching! The lobby. Lounge and the dining space seemed cleaner, brighter and energetic. The room was smaller this time ( by choice ), but very neat and Cozy. Linens were top notch and the bed / sofa were comfortable. Every light, gadget & faucet worked as desired. Bath was spotless and smelled fresh. Housekeeping, Dining Staff were amazing as usual and went out of their way to make us and our Pet's stay comfortable. Last time we had some issues with In-Room dining. But this time around, the food quality and service exceeded expectations! Overall more reason for us to stay at the Crown again and again. For us, this embodies the spirit of Taj hotels and the caring associated with the TATA name. Highly recommended 👌

I asked for a early checkin as my flight is at 5 am but i got rom at 2 00 pm i have to wait in lobby sleeping.

The staff were fantastic. The food was amazing. Above all the room was spotless and the swimming pool was lovely. It was good to have an iron and an ironing board in the hotel room.

The location of the Crown Hotel is not located in a great area. Just outs the hotel there is a lot of garbage along the street, adm many dogs wandering the streets. Although this is beyond the control of the hotel the streets were very dirty and the pollution was terrible.

There are many female staff and care about female solo travellers. All staffs are very professional. I was especially impressed by Santosh - I liked the way he communicates with us. Thank you!

Amazing Hotel...what astonished me is the freshness that i felt when i entered the hotel...the smell and feel of the hotel was awesome...the staff were too good...the breakfast with a view in the balcony was too good... have no words to describe the hotel...a must visit

The facility, restaurant, gym were all very well maintained. Staff at the restaurant and reception were very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Crown.

The bathroom had only half mirror, so water was seeping out.

The front desk. The required amount was paid after talking to the reception before even the guest arrived. Once the guest reached, the front desk asked for the payment to the guest. This was specifically requested beforehand and as suggested payment was done beforehand. This was embarrassing. Fortunately I was there to show the payment details and the conversation went on for 3 mins. After all these , when the guest was checking out, the front desk again asked for the payment to the guest which awe full. Imagine I was not there, the staff would have collected the payment from the guest. Absolutely no coordination between staffs , centralized computer system seemed to be dis functional.

The breakfast spread was very good, the food was fresh and the service excellent. I would like to comment of the waffles I had, it was done very well and served with care. The food was hot and very tasty - hash browns, croissants, waffles with maple syrup and the choice muffins. The service was exceptional always with broad smiles and ever ready help at all times. special mention of Ms. Srijoni at the reception and the staff at the restaurants

The property boasts of spacious rooms, very tastefully decorated with all the necessary precautions given to the amenities provided. The view could have been better but I had to think a lot to identify what could have been better

Terrific people / Staff. Absolutely Pet Friendly. Great hygiene and maintenance. Impeccable Housekeeping & Staff. Lovely pool & gym. Nice and Cozy. Feels like Home.

Food Options very limited. Food quality ( In-Room dining ) fluctuates widely. Very expensive considering the location ( town ). Bakery is sub-par, so are desserts. Many rooms do not have good views of outside. Quality of coffee ( brewed ) was poor.

My recent stay at the hotel was truly exceptional, exceeding expectations in every aspect. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality and attention to detail created a memorable experience. The front office staff were highly professional, friendly, and efficient. check-in was quick, and the team made me feel genuinely welcomed. Their positive attitude and readiness to assist set a great tone for the stay. Although the stay was outstanding, housekeeping attention could be more consistent, especially in daily replenishment and minor detail checks. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were consistently excellent. The variety, freshness, and presentation of the food reflected true culinary quality. The restaurant staff were attentive, courteous, and ensured a pleasant dining atmosphere. The assigned car and driver Mr. Amer played a significant role in making the trip smooth and enjoyable. The driver was punctual, well-mannered, and ensured safe and comfortable travel while providing full attention to guest needs in all the trips local and puri, Konark etc.

We booked 3 rooms here , for us and parents. Our stay was comfortable, room was clean . Driver’s stay was not charged. Staff was very thoughtful and also helped us in various occasions to go around. They have an exceptional welcome for new guests. They have a game room to engage kids and breakfast buffet had many vegetarian options.

The location - it’s in a quiet neighborhood, but still not very far from the city attractions. The staff are very polite and did their best to accommodate my requests. The bar in the ground floor is pretty nice.

For the price paid, I would expect a little more upkeep of the rooms. Our curtain was broken and was pointed out to the accompanying staff. The toilet shelves have a lot of dust and needs more thorough cleaning.

The staff was excellent. All were professional, friendly & competent. They were happy & seemed to get along well. The food was outstanding. I hired a car with driver for 2 days. Amar was a safe driver, very knowledgable & enjoyable to be around. I have vision problems so Amar walked with me & made sure I was safe. All in all, this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

The Crown exceeded all expectations. Exquisite contemporary décor with local themes, gorgeous pool and supremely comfortable room. We enjoyed the cultural experiences in the lobby. The hotel is located away from the main historic tourist temple sites but we navigated the city easily with Uber. An outstanding stay!
