Die Sicht aus das Matterhorn, leider mit riesigem Baukran davor. Da kann das Hotel nichts dafür. Service ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Mein Partner hatte Geburtstag, weshalb ich um etwas Deko und Prosecco mit Lachs bestellte. Leider ging das vergessen. Wir haben dafür eine kleine Schampus Flasche erhalten. Beim Frühstück muss man zeitig dran sein, ab 9 Uhr hatten wir keine Vollkornbrötchen mehr und auch andere Dinge gingen zur Neige. Schade. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr gross für den Preis.

Insuffisance au déjeuner de produits malgré le fait de se rendre tôt au déjeuner . A 25.-/pers c’est pas satisfaisant. Pas de climatisation en chambre fonctionnelle . Personne au bar .

Albatros hotel is small but the rooms are good. We had booked a deluxe room. It was big, had a king size bed & an attached balcony with chairs 💺 for sitting. Matterhorn top was visible from the balcony. Bathroom 🚻 was big & had a bath 🛁 tub. Breakfast was good. The room had a small espresso coffee ☕️ machine that served excellent coffee. The hotel works with very little staff but the staff is courteous. Hotel 🏨 owner Juliet is young, beautiful and smiling.

Gemütlich, gut gelegen, gute Zimmer

Nicht mehr der Service, der es vor 2 Jahren besonders gemacht hat. Kein Begrüssung-Getränk, Wasser nicht nachgefüllt, Frühstück um 8 nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Personal hat sich beim Frühstück im Nebenraum versteckt, sodass es eine Glückssache war, einen Kaffee zu bekommen.

It’s beautiful with a lovely spa and views of the Matterhorn. The breakfast was great. The staff/ owner were friendly and helpful.

Hotelzimmer war sauber und die Betten waren bequem. Gutes Frühstücksbüffet.

Wir wurden am BHF Zermatt mit einem Shuttle abgeholt. Die Dame die diesen Shuttle fuhr hat uns nicht einmal begrüsst und auch während der Fahrt hat sie nicht mit uns gesprochen. Somit war der erste Eindruck sehr schlecht. Freundlichkeit kostet ja bekanntlich nichts!!!

durchgelegene, viel zu weiche Matrazen. Nach 4 Tagen bei beiden Gästen Rückenschmerzen. Die Matrazen gehören dringend ausgetauscht. Frühstück ist ausbaufähig, Auswahl recht begrenzt.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr ruhig, das Zimmer ist gemütlich eingerichtet, die Betten bequem, aber alles ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Licht etwas spärlich im Zimmer. Das Bad eigentlich ok, aber man muss in der Badewanne duschen mit einer beweglichen Glastrennwand. Für etwas beleibtere oder ältere Leute sicherlich ungeeignet und nicht mehr zeitgemäss. Das Bad ist jeweils danach nass und das Duschen ist nicht wirklich ein Vergnügen da man immer mit der Glaswand und der Duschbrause hantieren muss. Super die Rituals Pflegeprodukte in grossen Spendern! Gute Handtücher, Schlappen in super Qualität und Badmantel, genug Bügel im Schrank, Blick auf Matterhorn vom Balkon aus, Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher- alles sehr gut. Toller Wellnessbereich! Sauna, Dampfbad, Jacuzzi, Ruheraum- tiptop sauber und schön eingerichtet zum Wohlfühlen. Wir konnten den Bereich alleine benutzen, was sehr angenehm war. Das Personal ist nett.

Das Frühstück war leider sehr enttäuschend und in keinster Weise was wir in Zermatt erwartet hätten zu dem Zimmerpreis! Keine Kaffeemaschine, kein Samowar für Tee( man musste alles einzeln bestellen), Eierspeisen Fehlanzeige, kein Lachs oder besondere Käsesorten, das einzige dunkle Brot was es gab war extrem trocken und hart. An der Rezeption hat man noch Sirocco Tee angeboten ( für teure 5 CHF), beim Frühstück gab es dann nur noch den billigen Tee ohne Geschmack. Kaffeesahne gab es auf dem Zimmer leider nie und beim Frühstück auch nur auf Anfrage. Keine Tischdecken auf dem Tisch, hier leider alles etwas lieblos und 08/15 Frühstück.

Quiet location. Good breakfast. Soft pillows and comfortable beds. I loved the sparkling bottle of water in the room—it was tasty. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Die Unterkunft war schön und sehr sauber.

Der Wellnessbereich war leider sehr klein, ich hatte gedacht, er sei größer. Am Nachmittag ist das Zimmermädchen noch einmal vorbeigekommen und nach einmaligem Klopfen einfach hereingekommen. Wir hatten kaum Zeit zu reagieren. Das war nicht so toll

Early check-in was no problem. Good old-fashioned service (bed turned down and room tidied mid-afternoon etc.) Staff were warm, helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast (including gluten free options) in a pleasant environment. A short walk to very part of Zermatt.

Very comfortable and clean room, beautiful views and friendly forthcoming staff. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at Hotel Albatros again!

A bit decentral to reach but no problem with taxi or shuttle.

My biggest 1st world problem in Switzerland was getting a good old cup of tea (Yorkshire tea) if like me you like having a cuppa, take enough tea bags to last your stay in Switzerland. The Swiss have everything mastered to precision barr a cup of tea!

The view of the Matterhorn from our room was spectacular and was exactly what we were hoping for. The bed was comfortable, decent shower with bath, great balcony, amazing breakfast with lots of options.

Maybe just a bit further from the centre than what we would like but still close enough.

마테호른 뷰가 보이는 곳이라 좋았습니다. 날씨 영향으로 못봤지만 잠깐씩 보여주는 맛으로 묵었어요ㅋㅋㅋ 스파가 무료였어요. 지하에 찜질방이랑 탕 같은 거 있는데 산에 다녀와서 몸 풀기 좋을 것 같았습니다. 조식 맛있었어요!

호텔 올라가는 길이 살짝 언덕길이에요. 방이 살짝 좁은 느낌이 있었지만 테라스로 퉁 쳤어요. 테라스는 같은 층 다른 객실과 공유하는 곳이라서 창문은 잘 닫고 다니세요.

Das Zimmer war eher klein, aber sehr gemütlich, der Balkonanteil mit Blick aufs Matterhorn wirklich toll. Das Frühstück war bestens, wir konnten jedoch nur sehr wenig davon profitieren, da wir um 7:45 gehen mussten und das Frühstück erst ab 7:30 Uhr erhältlich war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Impressive views, hotel staff wonderful, buffet style breakfast had many choices. The hotel is smaller in size but has a cozy, warm atmosphere and it is a beautifully maintained property. The Matterhorn is a mystery. Never the same view twice. Stunning views. Truly a memorable stay.♥️

We had a beautiful room. The day we arrived, we sat on our deck in the sunshine, admiring the Matterhorn. Definitely worth it to upgrade to a room with a view! The staff were lovely and gave us some great dinner recommendations.

Well located, some rooms with view of the Matterhorn. An easy 15 mins walk to station and quiet location on edge of the town. Excellent breakfast.

Expensive breakfast, especially as we couldn't do justice to it.

After the staff picked us up at the train station. She told us we can check in earlier since the room ready. We felt so happy however we found the lock of balcony wasn’t work and tell the staff come and check , she told me will fix but after we come back a few hours in the afternoon we found still not fix and we ask either change same level of room. A while she told me only have a smaller room to downgrade us. I told her if downgrade she should give us the room difference. And she said she will talk to her boss and refund the difference when we check out. On the next day I spoke the with other lady and she told us her boss don’t agree to refund any difference. Then make me very upset. I told her if she don’t refund the difference I will call my credit card company to diisbill the difference. Then she agree to discuss to her boss again. After 1 hour we come back she agree to deduce our pick up cost CHF10x2 plus give us CHF10 cash, but I don’t accept this offer since when I booked the difference per night I’d CHF23-24, which total difference should be CHF 46-48, later on she agree to deduce our pick our cost CHF20 plus give us CHF20 cash then I deal with her, but I still feel unhappy had this issue.and want to share this to others.

Catrin was awesome. Picked us up from the train station, checked us in, gave us a tour of the hotel and made a great dinner recommendation.

The spa was less than I expected but still nice.

Wonderful customer service, so clean and comfortable. Stayed here after 10 days on the Haute Route and it was a magical ending to my incredible time in Switzerland. Very appreciative of the last minute soak in the jacuzzi in the evening too! Would highly recommend!

View of Matterhorn is perfect. Spacious room with one of the most comfortable beds. Excellent hotel in a great location. Breakfast was delicious as well.

Perfect Matterhorn view. Very comfortable bed, good sized room and bathroom. Very nice balcony seating area. Well thought out blankets on balcony chairs. Would highly recommend, especially for the view!

Our room was beautifully appointed, the staff was so efficient and very helpful with our travel needs. The hotel is further away from town than most but we like the quiet and taking the lovely walk into town was nice and we found many lovely bakeries along the way. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved our choice. Our suite was great and my oh my the view we had from our bedroom and balcony. The only thing I would say, shuttle should be free for the price of the room and also the balconies should not be shared with several suites. Apart from that loved it.

Perfect view to Matterhorn! Requires some walking from the train station (especially with luggages) so you might wanna concider shuttle service. Good breakfast with individual touch.

Very bad AC (if any), not very good sound proofing. Note that the balcony is shared with neighbours even though this was not mentioned in the booking.

Everything was great except it was quite hot and a/c or at least a fan would have been nice.

The hotel is not too far away from the station, within a walkable distance. Everything is close. Our room has a good view of the Matthorn, yet it’s not too expensive considering Swiss’ price. The room is nice; we imagine it could look very cosy in the winter season. The managing lady is very nice and elegant.

The door to the balcony is essentially broken, so we could not get in (we feared by doing so would completely break it and cause unnecessary troubles for us). The room could feel really hot in the summer: on our stay it was only around 23 degree at night, which is not too bad, yet we could barely sleep even with a shower towel as the only cover and were constantly waken up by the heat in the room.
