Amazing garden, full of palm trees that keep the temperature cool. Nice staff, spacious and clean rooms, good breakfast and dinner, with diverse options.

The water at the beach is full of rocks. No fault of the hotel, of course, but it's not easy to swim and enjoy, particularly during low tide.

Location is great and staff is friendly. Breakfast is plentiful.

Not sure how this qualifies as a five star hotel: room service stops at five, the parking was full and I had to park at the bus station, the shower drain in the room was plugged and maintenance had to come. The rooms are ok but smallish and not really luxurious. Seems more of a nice resort hotel for people coming on a package holiday than a real five-star hotel.

Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos,maravilloso hotel, pero aun mejor es el gran equipo que lo forman, nos hacen sentirnos muy especiales, atentos, amables cariñosos y muy profesionales, Micaela, Zuzana,Lucía de recepción, que tuvieron un detallazo con repecto a la habitacion, a todo el personal del comedo, super atentos en todo, el bufet de altísima calidad, y sobre todo mencionar a mi querida Arminda y a Paco, no se puede ser mas amables y sobre todo cariñosos. Gracias por hacer de nuestras vacaciones un lujo en todos los aspectos

Tiene un parking muy pequeño que nunca hay sitio y te tienes que buscar la vida para aparcar. A partir de las cinco de larde no hay servicio de comida en las habitaciones. A la 6.30 de la mañana,las hamacas de la piscina ya están ocupadas por toallas vacías. A las 8 de la mañana todos los días el personal de limpieza,te despiertan ya que están a voces por los pasillos. Para finalizar hotel orientado claramente para turistas extranjeros.

We only stayed at this hotel for one day, but we already have an opinion. The breakfast was good, the grounds are beautiful, green, and full of shady areas. The hotel is very close to the beach and the dunes. We were lucky to attend the White Friday event, where guests from this hotel are taken to a nearby hotel of the same chain. There was a fun party with free alcoholic drinks, go-go dancers, and entertainment. We really enjoyed it.

What we didn't like was the family room. It has two bedrooms but only one bathroom. The toilet has a solid door, but the shower is very large and enclosed only by a glass door. Even worse, there is no door separating the bathroom area from the rest of the room. This means that anyone walking through the room can immediately see the shower, making it impossible to have any privacy. Considering that families may have children of different genders or even adult children, this is a very poor design. We were very disappointed with this layout.

A return visit , I love their pool rooms ( always ask for 1102-20 for private side , otherwise your own pool room can face onto a communal pool with children playing and the main path to the beach). Lovely food selection breakfast and dinner. Even though it’s buffet the food is hot and large variety tasty. I visited the spa for manicure good experience- there a gym and spa and indoor pool area and another smaller outdoor pool at the back of the complex. There a gate out of the hotel garden that leads you directly onto the beach by the lighthouse and a boardwalk to restaurants and some small shops, plus the boardwalk to the Maspalomas Dunes. Highly recommend and would return. Very clean hotel and friendly staff.

W pierwszej kolejności należy wspomnieć o personelu zarówno na recepcji, jak również sprzątającym. Wykonywana praca była zawsze perfekcyjna, a do tego wszyscy byli niezwykle uprzejmi i kulturalni. Nie zdarzyło się, aby ktoś nie przywitał się i uśmiechnął. Hotel jest też bardzo elegancji, niesamowite wrażenie robi przestronne i nowoczesne lobby, a pokoje piękne i nowocześnie urządzone. Jeżeli chodzi o kuchnię, to naprawdę rzadko się zdarza, aby serwowano tak różnorodne i smaczne posiłki Warta polecenia jest też restauracja Botanica, z której skorzystaliśmy ze znajomymi. Hotel jest też bardzo czysty, o każdej porze można zastać personal sprzątający bądź nadzorujący, czy wszystko działa. Na uwagę zasługuje rownież olbrzymi ogród, w którym można podziwiać roślinność i wsłuchać się w śpiew ptaków.

Zaznaczam, że to nie wpływa na całościową ocenę, ale uważam, że chociaż jeden basen powinien być głębszy, a ćwiczenia takie jak aqpagym powinny być prowadzone przez nieco bardziej wykwalifikowanych instruktorów, bo ten Pan, który prowadził sprawiał wrażenie przypadkowego. Ponadto ćwiczenia w wodzie powinny być częściej. Nie rozumiem dlaczego odbywały się co drugi dzień i jeszcze w weekendy nic się nie odbywało.

La habitación estaba muy bien y limpia. A destacar el baño y la ducha, que era enorme.

Los precios de las bebidas son excesivamente caros. No tienen servicio de comidas. Aún estando muy bien el hotel, creo que es muy caro para lo que ofrece (que no es malo, pero por ese precio debería de ser mucho mejor).

We originally booked one night but changed our minds and booked a second. We went to reception to confirm our second stay in the same room and they updated the keys but still later on we found our keys stopped working not allowing us in from the beach entrance. This was corrected by the receptionist extending key times. Other than that we had a perfect stay.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, abwechslungsreich und appetitlich präsentiert. Die Speisen am Abendbuffet werden frisch zubereitet und haben gut geschmeckt. Leider hat bei den Speisen die Würze, vorallem Salz gefehlt. Ist jedoch Geschmacksache. Die a la Carte Restaurants sind sehr zu empfehlen. Schönes Ambiente. Alle Mitarbeiter und Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und nett.

Beim Pool nahe dem Meer gibt es keine Badetuch- Ab und Ausgabe. Man muss mit den nassen Badetüchern immer duch die Lobby gehen.

Our main problem was the beach area, which was not very pleasant. I hasten to add, though, that the hotel could do nothing about that!

Exceptionally polite staff. Amazing to walk under the palm trees. Direct access to the best beach on the island. Incredible quality of some of the evening music shows, like the Motown group or the Tina Turner tribute. Good variety of food on the evening buffet, with some nights being particularly great.

The property has 3 adult pools that are relatively small in size. Would have liked to see something bigger. But apart from that, not much else really.

I’ll get the negative out of the way first, and sadly it’s the food. We come to the Canaries every May or October and, over the years have stayed in plenty of four and five star resorts across the islands. Buffet standards obviously vary but unfortunately, the buffet at the Riu Palace Oasis was the weakest we’ve experienced in a hotel of this class. The ingredients felt low quality, cooked to a poor standard, and the food stations seemed random rather than curated. Which is a real pity, as almost everything else about the hotel is very good indeed. We stayed in room 1234, which was well away from the entertainment areas and incredibly quiet. The room itself was well designed, comfortable and pleasant, and we were more than happy with it for our week stay. The pool areas have a lovely chilled atmosphere. Sun loungers were a complete non-issue, with plenty available at any time of day, even though it was half-term week and the hotel was busy, which was extremely refreshing given what a pain this can be at many resorts. . The gardens are beautifully maintained and are a real feature of the hotel. The main outside bar and entertainment areas are also lovely places to spend time. Cleanliness was also to a high standard everywhere. Service throughout the hotel was excellent. We did note that most of the servers didn’t speak any English, which is unusual in our experience of Spanish island resorts, but not really a problem. The main front-of-house staff were multilingual as you might expect. The spa being included at no extra charge is a nice touch, although personally I would have preferred a warmer spa pool. The men’s steam room also wasn’t working very well, which led to the odd spectacle of the men migrating to the ladies’ steam room which was working fine. The location is excellent too: right on the gorgeous main beach and very close to shops, bars and restaurants. I really wanted to give this hotel five stars, because in so many ways it’s a great resort and gets things absolutely right. The setting, rooms, gardens, pool areas, service and location are all excellent. But for us, the food wasn’t really good enough.

La tranquilidad que se respira en el hotel. El jardín es impresionantemente bonito , y transmite paz . Las piscinas están genial . La habitación amplia y cómoda con una ducha enorme! Buena variedad en desayuno y cena y la comida en general rica. Tienen de todo. Especial mención a Ingrid, siempre tan amable y atenta con nosotros en los desayunos y cenas. Y también especial mención a Alice, del Miniclub, que hizo sentir muy a gusto a nuestra hija y a nosotros también. La ubicación del hotel de 10. Los espectáculos nos gustaron mucho, sobre todo el de Abba y el de Avenida Party Band.

Por decir algo, que la mini disco sea a las 17:00 nos resulta muy pronto. Mejor a partir de las 19:00.

Just returned from a 10 day holiday at this hotel. We had an absolutely fantastic time here. The hotel is amazing everywhere is so clean and all of the staff are friendly and welcoming.We have stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels and this one is the tops. The design and the ambiance of the hotel is amazing. The grounds of the hotel with its beautiful palm trees has a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We had a sea view room which was lovely and big with a large bathroom and shower. The food in the restaurant was amazing with a choice to suit everyone, all the food was of high quality and tasted amazing. The entertainment was brilliant especially the outdoor stage shows. Access to the beach area and promenade was an extra bonus. Can't praise this hotel enough and we will Certainly be returning. I only have two points to make and that is the quality of the bathroom towels are not good enough for a 5 star hotel, they are not thick or soft in fact they felt quite hard also usually slippers are provided in other hotels that I have stayed in, so that might be a nice addition.

Like most people we checked out the reviews beforehand, some of which concerned us. Without going into minute detail, there was nothing about our 8 day stay that we could fault. Every aspect of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. Our fabulously spacious room had a great sea view and was totally quiet with no other noise to disturb our sleep. The room was cleaned to a high standard daily, it was spotless, the towels changed daily and a room tidy up in the evening. Both breakfast and dinner were plentiful, lots of variety and very tasty. Yes it’s biased towards a more continental diet, but we could not fault any aspect of it. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and keen to provide a great service. An all round great hotel!

Como todos los RIU la comida es fabulosa y exquisita.Muy variado para todos los gustos y de muy buena calidad.

Durante nuestra estancia encontramos varios aspectos negativos que consideramos importantes señalar. En primer lugar, la presencia de mosquitos no solo durante la noche si no también durante el día nos picaron mucho a todos incluyendo a los niños durante toda la estancia. Imposible mantener la habitación ventilada, lo cual resultaba bastante incómodo. Además, daban directamente a la misma piscina, lo que suponía una falta total de intimidad. Por la noche, la situación fue aún más desagradable, ya que encontramos una cucaracha en la cama y otra en el suelo de la habitación, algo desagradable para un establecimiento de estas características. Elegimos este hotel por su ubicación cerca de la playa y de la avenida principal; sin embargo, la habitación asignada se encontraba muy alejada de cualquier acceso principal. Para salir a la calle era necesario recorrer una gran distancia dentro del hotel, ya que no existe una salida directa por el otro lado, lo cual resultó muy poco práctico sobretodo con niños pequeños. Por otro lado, al trasladar nuestras quejas en recepción, el trato recibido no fue el más adecuado. Percibimos una actitud poco amable, dando la sensación de que no éramos especialmente bienvenidos. No obstante, las camareras de sala que nos atendieron fueron muy amables y profesionales en todo momento. Por último, durante nuestra estancia sufrimos un golpe en el coche de alquiler dentro del parking del hotel. Pero el personal de recepción, y la encargada Mía no mostraron disposición a colaborar ni a facilitar información, desvinculándose completamente de lo ocurrido, lo cual nos resultó muy decepcionante. En conjunto, estos aspectos empañaron considerablemente nuestra experiencia, ya que no esperábamos este tipo de incidencias ni la falta de atención ante situaciones que consideramos importantes.

The property itself is visually beautiful, especially the gardens and outdoor areas. The location was convenient, many staff members were polite, and the facilities were generally clean and well maintained.

We stayed at Hotel Riu Palace Oasis from February 11–18, 2026 with our family and unfortunately experienced a very serious safety incident during our stay. On the day of check-in, while continuously inside the hotel property using the facilities, items were stolen from a crossbody pouch that was being worn at all times. The pouch contained a wallet and rental car key. Shortly after, an overseas payment attempt was made using our credit card, which was automatically blocked by the card company. This confirmed that the missing items were not simply “lost,” but had been used in an attempted fraudulent transaction. We remained inside the hotel property the entire time before the incident was discovered, moving only between the restaurant, walkways, and garden areas. Family photos taken shortly before the unauthorized transaction clearly showed the pouch fully closed. However, after receiving repeated fraud alerts and calls from Korea, we checked the pouch and found that the zipper had been opened and the contents were missing. We immediately reported the incident to the hotel and filed an official police report. What disappointed us most was not only the incident itself, but the lack of clear communication regarding security measures and CCTV review. Despite repeated requests, we were not provided with meaningful clarification about CCTV coverage or whether the relevant areas had been properly reviewed. As parents traveling with five young children, this experience significantly affected our sense of safety throughout the remainder of our stay. While the property itself is visually beautiful and many staff members were polite, we were ultimately left feeling that our concerns were treated with skepticism rather than genuine support. Based on our experience, I believe other travelers — especially families with children — should remain very attentive to personal security while staying here. We expected better security and support from a hotel at this price level.

Un desastre con lo del parking , tienen uno gratis pero es imposible encontrar sitio , además en la entrada quise conectar el coche eléctrico pero decían que solo 2 horas y que estaba ocupado ( tres sitios libres sin ocupar) , piscinas(3) muy pequeñas , bufé muy normalito para un 5 estrellas

El personal de buffet, da un trato exquisito. De la misma forma, todo el personal que sirve y cocina en cada isla del buffet. Muy atentos y de trato excelente. La comida inmejorable.

This was our second stay—and the moment we arrived, it felt like coming home. Not in a superficial way, but in that deep, comforting sense of being truly welcomed and seen. The service is exceptional, but what makes this place so special are the people. Every single member of the team—without exception—is genuinely warm, kind, and incredibly friendly. You can feel that they care, and it makes all the difference. The hotel itself is a little oasis in the truest sense: a beautiful, expansive garden with majestic old trees, the soothing sound of the ocean, and a direct connection to the beach. It’s a place where you can breathe, slow down, and simply be. The rooms are spacious, peaceful, and thoughtfully maintained, and the housekeeping is impeccable—always attentive, always with a smile behind the scenes. And then there’s the bar… our personal favorite place to unwind. There is something so calming and special about it. The atmosphere, the gentle evenings, and most of all the people: José and his wonderful colleagues create moments you don’t forget. Their warmth, humor, and genuine kindness turn a simple drink into something meaningful. This hotel is more than just a destination—it’s a feeling. And for us, it has truly become a second home. We will be back. Without a doubt.♥️

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. One of the best things about it was its location—it was just a short walk from the beach, which would be great for anyone planning to spend a lot of time by the sea, although I personally didn’t go very often. The hotel itself was quite large, giving it a spacious and comfortable feel without ever seeming overcrowded. It had beautiful gardens with a relaxing vibe, along with a nice interior and a well-kept bar area that was a good spot to unwind. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax during my stay. Everything felt fresh and tidy, and it was clear that the housekeeping staff paid attention to detail. The staff were polite, which contributed positively to the stay. They were kind and greeted me whenever I saw them. One thing that could have slight imprivoment is the canteen, which didn’t have many options, so it felt a bit limited at times. Its gym may be small, but it’s well-equipped and maintained, providing everything needed for a solid workout without feeling crowded or outdated. There are also 2 pools to enjoy that are clean and inviting , perfect for either a refreshing swim or simply unwinding by the water. One of the highlights, however, is the view from the room balconies. Absolutely stunning. My only complaint would be the WiFi. It was horrible. You had to sign up every time. Which wasted 5 mins of my life every time I did it. Apart from that very good stay. Clean room, nice bed,good location and nice staff.

The overall hotel was good, with all the facilities you would expect. Staff throughout were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Krystal restaurant was the best restaurant we ate at throughout our visit (including those outside of the hotel).

I would have liked to have had the option to have duvets for the bed and not just bedsheets. I would have also liked some room slippers as well.

Hotel is very modern and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and lots of storage. Staff are very friendly. 3 pools, mini spa and gym. Great buffet breakfast and dinner. Easy access to the beach and local shops & restaurants- which offer variety for all budgets from everyday cages to 5* seafood dining, souvenirs to Gucci. If you are vegetarian and book to go to one of the hotel’s restaurants you need to let them know you are vegetarian in advance and then check when you get your food. The fusion restaurant knew we had a vegetarian and even that they didn’t like mushrooms, however still served them an appetiser of pheasant pate and caviar!! There are vegetarian options at the buffets but they are very carb based or just vegetables - they could do better in this front. A trip to Aqua world is great family fun and would recommend. We hired a self drive boat for a few hours and it was great! Warning: be aware for the early risers who place their towels on all the best sunbeds and then leave them unoccupied for hours on end. The hotel has no way of managing this. There are no clear signs to indicate this is not allowed - even though it is in their ‘rule book’ 🤣 and when you speak to the staff they say there is nothing they can do, just that you can go and move things yourself (which is not ideal!) It didn’t ruin the holiday but it was very annoying for many if the guests. The grounds are beautiful, calming and spacious - to make it even better they could use some of this space for a premium table tennis table, large drafts or some badminton, out of the way, but something for teens to do at the hotel. Final point - this is a very popular destination for Germans, so if you are not German and are looking to go and meet other families and make holiday friends then this is less likely here. Not an issue for us as we are quite happy keeping ourselves to ourselves, or not.

Super location right next to the beach, and with a large palm garden and three pool sites one actually has the choice to stay onsite as well without feeling locked in. High quality buffet restaurant with wide choice and daily variation, and on top two nice restaurants for the special evenings during the stay. This was our fourth time at the hotel, and high expectations were met. High staff continuity shows the hotel being also good on the inside, and small improvements since last stay (benches at exit to beach, improved sunbeds, no fee for safe) show management’s dedication to continuous improvement.

Das leidige Reservieren sämtlicher Pool-Liegen durch Hotel-Handtücher bereits vor der Frühstückszeit sollte (wie in anderen vergleichbaren Hotels bereits durchaus üblich) unterbunden bzw. abgestellt werden, da dies einen Frühjahrsurlaub sehr beeinträchtigt!
