The location of the place was fairly central and quiet.

The staff were mostly absent or asleep. No breakfast was offered. We got the impression that it was at the end of the tourist season so the staff were perhaps tired and unengaged.

Lieu très agréable, équipe très arrangeante, j'ai pu laisser mes affaires après le check-out, il m'ont commandé un taxi très bien, pour l'aéroport.

Il y a une cuisine à l’étage, personne ne m'a fait visiter à mon arrivée.

Christy at the reception gave us a warm welcome from the first minute, and the room was comfortable.

Great location with short walk to main areas , clean and comfy rooms and quiet . Lovely family with good advice and booking of trips

Le personnel , vmt gentil. Très bien situé pour visiter fort kochi. On peut tout faire à pieds . Rie calme et tranquille. Qques restos autour et très bons.

Le good karma était tb renseigné dans le routard . Il y avait une très forte odeur désagréable dans les 2 chambres mélangée à leur prise parfumée . Salle de bain vétuste, mais eau chaude. Lit avec juste une sorte de fine couverture sur un drap housse mais pas avec un drap entre. On s est demandé si cette couverture était nettoyée à chaque nouveau client. Dans une des 2 chambres, le Lit double faisait 1m40, très petit donc.

Le personnel est "évanescent" sauf la dame du petit-déjeuner. La Wi-Fi fonctionne très mal.

The place was close to a good restaurant as well as the beach. The staff were generally helpful and friendly.

Generally the staff were friendly but it seems like they are under staffed and over booked. If people are providing services they should as well have the required number of staff. They also did not seem to have a power back up. In one of the days during our stay the electricity went off at 2 am in the night and we are in total darkness with fan or a/c until 10 am. The staff and owner gave different versions for what was going on. I had to call multiple times to follow up. They always have a reason why things are not in order.

Centrally located, very nice staff, breakfast was also very good and very affordable. Overall stay was also very budget friendly.

Bed was a little too hard for me and didn't have enough blankets

Il n y avait pas de douche dans la chambre contrairement à ce que j avais réservé, même pas à partager ! Rien ne m a été proposé pour me laver. C est juste inadmissible de louer un truc pareil, pourtant habituée à dormir en guesthouse, là c était le pompon. On peut voir sur les photos l absence de robinetterie

Parfait d'un bout à l'autre . Anoob est un rayon de soleil. il est de très bon conseil. Nous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés

The guy at the reception has major issues. He got drunk in the night and was shouting outside our room in Malayalam. he was saying some really nasty things like "I have their address", etc. He also insulted a girl that was travelling with us. Overall a horrible stay. I have recorded a video of this guys shouting outside our room around 3 AM in the night and will put it up on my instagram soon. Exceptionally terrible and unsafe place to be because of the property manager. Update: The property replied to this review and deleted after i updated this review with the following. To the guy who replied to this review claiming I wrote it out of spite. I took a video of your property manager shouting abuses in malayalam. Is that your "property policies"? Your property manager was the one who got drunk and was shouting at 3AM when we were sleeping. Like deep sleep in "quiet hours". He was on a call shouting at somebody else and then i came out of my room to ask him to not create noise because we were sleeping because people sleep at 3AM. Apparently that triggered him and he started shouting on me. I left and slept again cos i could see he was drunk but he continued shouting right outside our door. Obviously people would complain about the noise he was creating. I dont know what story your property manager made up to you but if you care to "investigate" the incident, you have my email. Have the spine to reach out and ill share the video of the nasty abuses he was hurling in your holy language of malayalam. Do you want me to share the video with you? You havent even reached out to apologize. Ill update this review soon with the youtube link. You should be ashamed. Instead of properly apologizing, you are saying "handling such issues publicly is not ideal" and that you staff "didnt behave inappropriately". He got drunk and threatened with violence. You have CCTV cameras where he did this, put some effort.

Hôtel confortable dans Fort Kochi, proche de tout et au calme (sauf travaux Immeuble en face, mais de temps à autre). Super accueil, chaleureux et convivial.

Really well maintained homestay in fort kochi. One can definitely consider this homestay.

C est très rassurant cet accueil chaleureux et très aidant dans un joli hotel pas trop grand pour que chacun ne se sente pas un client de plus.Merci Good Karma.

Great location within easy walking distance of everything you would want. It’s clean and well maintained. In particular the staff is great. The breakfast was excellent and the manager went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of (he even went out to buy me a pillow when I found the other ones uncomfortable!)

It was good and clean.. the staff helped us with some additional refreshments and were helpful in helping us luggage as we had kids and senior citizens combined

Very convenient location. Breakfast was great fruit and eggs or local style. Just a little update to say how very helpful and friendly all the people were. They went to extra lengths to take care of us, especially the Manager, Christie. I would definitely recommend this as a good place to stay and they had some good suggestions for restaurants in the area as well.I

L'accueil peu engageant: nous avions réservé bien à l'avance une chambre confort et il nous a été attribué une chambre petite sombre et vieillissante...il nous a fallu réclamer pour obtenir la chambre conforme aux photos du site! Au même tarif il y a une différence notable entre les chambres ce qui ne nous semble pas honnête.. De plus notre chambre était placé juste à côté de la salle petit déjeuner et repas donc bruyante le soir et le matin...

Staff gives one word or very brief commands. Shoes! Instead off " hello. Welcome. Please!!! Take off your shoes. " At 11.55. He needs to tell you that the check in is at 12 o'clock!!! Construction and no common area to use. No kettle in the room. Christmas lights in front of my windows and off corse noisy!

Loved my stay here! I booked for one night at first and ended up staying more than a week! It was my second time staying here and I will definitely happily stay again when I am back in Kochi. The location is top - in a quiet street yet super close to literally everything in Fort Kochi. I could just walk everywhere from there. There is also plenty of good restaurants around as well as all the art cafes just a few minutes walk away. Chrissy, the manager, is very friendly and helpful and was always there when I needed something. The room was clean and cool and they also have two different terraces to hang out at and watch the sunsets from. Really great value for money, I definitely recommend this place as a solo traveller!

My room stay at Goodkarma Inn was an amazing experience. The manager/staff were very kind and explained all the nearby sightseeing places very well. The room was very clean, and the stay gave a homely feeling. Some guests come mainly to chill out, and they use the place for that purpose. It is better to avoid such bookings — this is my personal advice. Overall, my stay was excellent. Most of the guests staying there are foreigners, and sometimes Indian bookings can feel disturbing to them. Other than that, Goodkarma Inn is perfect. It is especially safe for ladies. Even at night, if we need any help and call them, support is provided immediately. Overall, Goodkarma Inn is highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay in the Goodkarma in! The Room was very nice, the bathroom clean and the Location was good to reach Most of the sights of Fort Kochi. Also the rooftop is very nice and we enjoyed the evenings there. The Staff was very nice and we had a nice Chat with Chrissy. Also they organized a Backwaren Tour for us which was very nice!:)

Basically staff is very friendly and informative. Location is also nice and near to many main sight seeing.

A problem is the toilet or bathroom is smelly especially when the fan is closed. Perhaps old building drainage problem.

Great location close to everything you will want to see in Cochin. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Great value for money.

When we arrived we were told no double room was available. I insisted that I had gotten confirmation of my booking. There was some talk of them not being able to see the Booking.com bookings. After some tooing and froing we were given the room I had booked.

La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. Le gérant s"est montré très efficace pour me trouver une excursion aux bac waters et une journée ballade dans la ville en rickshaw. J'aurais aimé rester plus longtemps pour profiter de l'environnement: yoga, massages ayurvédiques.....

Accueil chaleureux très familial. L emplacement était parfait la chambre spatiacieux et très propre. L hotel a organisé pour moi le transfert aeroport et la sortie back water avec un système éco responsable qui valorise le groupe qui nous a accueilli. Tout est facile à partir de l hotel ils ont de nombreux bons conseils avec un bon réseau de partenaires - amis. J etais comme a la maison je recommande.

Vishnu est très serviable et même si son anglais est approximatif nous avons réussi à communiquer 🙂C'est un hôte vraiment adorable. L’emplacement est top, super rapport qualité prix, matelas confortable. Je garde l’adresse 🙌
