This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. Sheetal is an amazing host.

Sheethal is a top host who was very attentive and helpful. The room is clean and in good condition. The bed a little hard for me, still a good mattress. Towel in good condition, local natural toiletries supplied. Absolute bonus is the use of a washing machine for a nominal fee. Daily fresh vegetarian breakfast (on request) was delicious. Sheethal is very knowledgeable on the area. She also helped to book my train ticket on her app 🙏🏼 and assist with taxi service. I felt very safe as a solo traveller.

Amazing stay at Guestland Homestay. Clean, spacious rooms with attention to detail - the best sheets and linen I’ve experienced so far during 6 months travelling in Asia. Really good and quiet AC. Tasty homemade Kerala breakfast. Perfect location. Sheethal was an amazing host, giving us a detailed outline of the area with recommendations for cafees restaurants and things to do. And she even gave me some family recipe medicine (honey and ground nutmeg) when I was feeling a bit sick. Definitely recommend this place!

It was a great stay. Guesthouse is located centrally in Fort Kochi, close to all touristic spots. The owner of the guesthouse is very friendly and is happy to share any recommendations. I really recommend staying here!

Hostess who speaks good English and provided a map with places of interest. Clean room with all the basics. Can do a load of washing for Rs200.

The room is up two steep flights of stairs, which would be difficult for those less able. The fleecy towels made it impossible to dry yourself properly. Kerala breakfast was limited. A bedside table and a kettle in the room would have been nice. Although the hostess provided a map, it would have been good to get a bit more context on the best time to see the Fort and also know about the Jew Road markets (as it was a bit disappointing we ran out of time on that side of town).

何よりオーナーのシータさんがとても素敵な人！ 部屋は清潔。設備も整ってて使いやすい。朝ごはんは毎日変わるケララスタイルで楽しかった。 立地は、丁度フェリー乗り場から伸びる通りと、ユダヤ人街の方へ行く通りの交差点辺りなので観光には便利だった。

水が少なかったりお湯が出づらい時がある。

The location is great, the homestay is clean and the host is really nice, she gave us all the indications needed to move around Fort Kochi and made our stay very comfortable.

Das Zimmer mit zwei kleinen Balkonen war sehr schön. Die Lage ist sehr gut.Es gibt eine tolle Dachterrasse, die aber gepflegt werden sollte und eventuell ein Sonnenschutz angebracht werden müsste. Die Inhaberin ist sehr sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Der junge Mitarbeiter ist ebenfalls sehr nett, müsste aber eventuell im Servicebereich noch etwas geschult werden. Die Klimaanlage arbeitet sehr ruhig und gut.

Der Dackel von nebenan bellt ständig, wenn er ausgesperrt wird.

Everything was great! The owner is warm, kind and welcoming, the food is delicious. The rooms are clean and the design is very beautiful as well. You can see that the owner put a lot of energy and love into the place. I can recommend the homestay 100% :)

Accueil très chaleureux et familial. La guesthouse est située à proximité de toutes les attractions de Fort Kochi et au calme dans une impasse. Ma chambre était bien équipée, les petits déjeuners indiens parfaits.

The staff were so lovely. Great location. The bedroom was immaculately clean and they were so helpful giving tips on what to do!

Il n’y a pas d’eau chaude. Il faut se baigner à l’Indienne avec le sceau pour en avoir!

Guestland Kochi has a vibrant charm of its own while still feeling cosy and homely. Located right in the heart of Fort Kochi, everything is easily walkable, including Jew Town and the fort area. The rooftop offers a lovely view of the town’s skyline, bustling yet calm at the same time. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the cool showers are perfect after a warm, humid day. Fresh, tasty breakfast prepared in-house adds a personal touch to the stay. It is also conveniently close to excellent Ayurvedic centers and one of the best yoga spots in the area, making it ideal for a restorative stay.

Nothing significant. The central location naturally comes with a bit of town energy, but it adds to the authentic Fort Kochi experience.

Sheethal is the kindest homestay owner you will ever find in Fort Kochi. When you check-in she will give you a printed map of surroundings and highlight in it all the best recommendations for restaurants, local coffees, shops, cultural attractions and touristic spots. Will help you out with anything you need and make sure you feel at home. When I went back to the homestay by the end of the day, she received me with a piece of cake and other treats she had kept for me from her daughter's b-day party that had happened in the afternoon- so lovely! The place is a 10min walk from where everything happens. Breakfast she made was delicious. Very nice and comfortable room, with drinkable water and nice bathroom amenities (handmade facewash, bodywash and shampoo produced by locals)

We had the most loveliest stay in Fort Kochi. For us, Guestland Homestay was simply perfect: in a quiet location, authentic + delicious breakfast, great spacious rooms, the greatest staff ever, always ready to help, and near both touristy and non-touristic areas, yoga studios, sea front, fantastic restaurants, bike rental. Guestland Homestay is a place that makes you wish you could stay longer.

A truly wonderful place. Our stay was perfect in every way. The room was large, comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The owner was supper nice and helpful. The location is central yet in a side street, so quiet. In short, perfect!

I would highly recommend this homestay. The localisation is perfect and you feel at home in the homestay (facility and confort are excellent). As a solo traveler, I was feeling very safe walking from the homestay, even at night after Kathakali show. I received a very warm welcome when arrived and was given al lot of useful information. I really liked this Homestay. It was a nice and cozy place to stay. Like staying in a home and not a hotel. The owner is very friendly and cooks hearty Keralan breakfast food and makes a good cup of Chai. She was also very helpful with talking to taxi drivers in Malayam to arrange drop off and pick up. And will give you suggestions of places to visit as well as can sell you tickets to a Kathakali show. You are given full access to the kitchen too if you choose to make your own food. And you can do your own laundry too for a small fee which I found very helpful. My room was spacious and had very good AC. The balcony was a treat. I liked to go out and stand on it in the mornings and look at the palm trees. If I had more time in Kerala, I would have stayed longer. The owner is very kind and personable. Her daughter is very adorable and speaks perfect English to the guests. Location is perfect in Fort Kochi. In walking distance or auto rickshaw distance of most sights including Jewtown and St. Francis Church. Also near some great yoga studios.

I liked most everything. I guess the only thing would be no hot water but hostess is trying to work on this. Pre Monsoon Season it is so hot that most the time hot water is not needed anyway.

Quiet location in a small alleyway. Small balcony with each room and terrace on the roof. Functionally furnished rooms and shared kitchen. Very pleasant owner.

Not much. There is nothing that can be done at a neighbour's dog barking.

The accomondation is just a short walk from the city center in a quite area. The host was very nice and helped me with all my questions. The breakfast is home-cooked and very delicious. Would defenetly recommend to stay here.

The owner is charming and efficient, the hotel well located and extremely clean indoors. The outside has now been cleared of the rubbish which had blown in, which much improves the appearance of the property. Bathroom and bedroom were modern and lovely. The owner arranged a backwaters trip for me, recommended where to go and how to get there (I rented a scooter, which opened up the area for me), and even booked a train ticket from there to Goa.

Breakfasts were quite basic (one day just being offered bread and jam) but quite adequate for my needs.

Lovely little homestay in a central area. The room was clean and well maintained, and Sheetal and her staff were really lovely. Great value.

This place is like staying in a hotel and in someone’s home at the same time. The room was really super nice with great furnishings and an effective air conditioner that was completely silent. The bathroom is really good too. There’s no hot shower, but you don’t really need in the heat. Sheetal is a wonderful host and will tell you many interesting facts about Kerala. You can also use the kitchen and washing machine which is handy. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I wasn’t happy that there was no lift and no one in particular to help me with my suitcase…down two flights of steps ..especially early in the morning on the day of departure.

The host was very nice and kind. She really made a very nice place for us, the guest, especially the kitchen down. She helped and organized Txai transport to the airport.

I wish there was AC in my room.

The host was very warm, welcoming and helpful. It is a homestay so you are made to feel part of the family. The property is well located and the rooms are a good size

Lovely host and her daughter, offering her really new and super clean home and making everyone feel comfortable. The house is located perfectly in quiet side streets and Sheetal gave us good recommendations for shops and restaurants and was super flexible - we were able to leave our luggage while strolling around. The room was lovely, clean with comfortable beds and air conditioning. Would come back any time!

Sheethal is an exceptional host who was born in Fort Kochi, so her knowledge and recommendations were fantastic. Her hospitality and breakfast were delightful.

Sheetal was very warm in her manner and she advised me on different places to visit and helped me with arranging a taxi for Varkala.

It was a 10 min walk to the town which is not great when travelling solo. But you have to compromise for quality and quiet, so it balances out.

Very neat & clean. Near to bus stop and around area is touristically. The host Mrs Sheetal and party very helpful. They picked us before I reach on what’s app and provide all necessary information.Have near by pure vegeterian resturant too. Even though I reach early they offer facility to freshen up and local Kerala authenticate pure veg breakfast provided. ( one main dish and one side dish with tea / coffee.

Absolutely everything. The facilities are super clean, new and spacious. There is a kitchen that you can use as well as the living room. The best part is Sheetha and her daughter who makes this place so warm and special. If I’m ever in Kochi again, I’ll come back to that place. So lovely! A true home. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Guestland homestay,Fort kochi it was sort of extraordinary! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the hosts, who made me feel right at home. My room was spacious, with comfortable bedding and all the necessities thoughtfully provided. The little touches, with amazing interior ( When I visited they have colourful christmas theme decoration)and complimentary snacks, made a huge difference. Very clean, lovely little common area with a great kitchen, room was tidy and had everything I needed. The homestay is located in a residential area, so there was no traffic noise, but it’s still a very easy walk to the main sights. The host is wonderful :)

She took the time to get to know each of her guests too. The property is well maintained and kept very clean. It's in a great location. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in Cochin. Thank you for the wondeful stay!

The room is simple, but has everything needed including moskitoscreens at the windows. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Area is quiet and within 10-15 you can walk to Jew Town or Fort Kochi. Only for information, cold water only. But no issue, its warm enough in Kochi.

I had a fantastic stay at Kovil Homes Guest Land. The host was incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. They shared great personal tips on restaurants and activities, which really enhanced my experience in the town. The location of the accommodation is perfect—not directly in the tourist center, but close enough to easily reach it while enjoying a charming local vibe. It was the ideal base for exploring the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a welcoming stay with a personal touch!

Everything was great, very clean and well kept. Sheethal and her assistant were warm, polite, welcoming and so very helpful with everything. They sorted out trips, bus and train tickets, made suggestions for theatre performances and where to eat. The location was really well placed to be able to walk to most places in Fort Kochi, each room had its own bathroom, Kerala breakfast was delicious and a little different each day.

My hosts were very accommodating with my last minute booking. Their communication was excellent and responsive. A very sweet family with a lovely clean and welcoming home. I stayed for 2 nights as a solo female traveller and felt relaxed here. I was given some great recommendations where to go. My room, although a little small, was clean and had everything I would need. A delicious local breakfast was provided in the morning and just 1 minute walk from the homestay is a fantastic yoga class, which I would highly recommend. Everything is within walking distance, the homestay has an excellent location to experience Fort Kochi and is tucked away down a small walkway away from the main roads. Would happily recommend!

Spotless and comfortable. Was greeted with a warm smile and was made to feel at home immediately. The simple yet delicious breakfasts in the morning served with good conversation. Easy walking distance to all of the main sites in Kochi.
