Beds were comfy. Big fridge. Supplied cooler, beach towels, coffee maker, toaster, blender, 2 burner stove top, and microwave. Stayed in Flounder 3 and the A/C worked quite well, everything looked recently renovated. Check in staff and housekeeping were great! Very friendly and accommodating. Dock space was good with hose nearby to rinse boat. Fantastic value, very clean, and I would definitely stay again.

Shower needed some attention. To launch the boat we had to go to sister hotel, 5 miles north.

The boat house we stayed in was fun.

Lack of customer service from staff. We felt as if they could care less if we got any of the promised amenities. Notified them of poor wifi, glad we had good cell service and unlimited data as the noise from Porky all day and night needed to be drowned out. Also asked about kayaking, and answer was down stairs went downstairs stood around looking for someone working for 10 minutes no one,, went back inside to tell office and got same outside downstairs so we went down the road to competition and gave them our business for our outdoor watersports.

A wonderful stay in the Florida Keys – highly recommended! We absolutely loved our stay at Captain Pip’s Marina & Hideaway! The location is fantastic, right on the water, and it gives you that authentic, relaxed Florida Keys atmosphere that you simply cannot get in a standard hotel. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The whole property has a unique and charming character, surrounded by the marina, boats and beautiful views. It was especially enjoyable to relax outside and take in the peaceful waterfront atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed having a restaurant right on site, which made the experience even more convenient and enjoyable. The possibility of renting kayaks, paddle boards and other water equipment is a fantastic bonus for anyone who wants to experience the Keys from the water. The location is also perfect for exploring Marathon and the surrounding Florida Keys, including the Seven Mile Bridge and the beautiful beaches in the area. What we appreciated most was that Captain Pip’s feels authentic rather than overly commercial or luxurious. It has personality, charm and a wonderful laid-back atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Captain Pip’s Marina & Hideaway to anyone visiting the Florida Keys. A truly memorable experience!

Excellent location, very clean and spacious room, all comfort that you need for a longer stay.

We had a problem with switching of a light, maybe because of a broken switch? It happened later in the evening, but there was no way to reach assistance, and the message that was send to the accommodation remained unanswered. During check out it was mentioned, but they didn't seem to be interested in it. Quite unfriendly experience.

Lots to do, several fishing spots, the attached bar/restaurant with live music was great, the Aqualodge was clean, felt spacious, amazing A/C and the view off the back porch was beautiful!

The property itself is very nice, that's why our second time staying here

We wanted an apartment but they were reserved, being in a regular room was ok until the neighbors showed up and you had to hear everything near the shared wall, very bothersome. Also, in this room we had a small dining table but they had bar stools the same height as the table, made no sense to me wasn't able to sit at table, made a request for shorter chairs and they were not able to accomadate, so the only place for sitting was the bed

The room was spotless, the sink was big enough to rinse all our snorkel gear, and the water pressure was excellent with quick hot water. Best part was the location—right where we booked our snorkeling tour, which made everything super convenient.

The walls were quite thin, so early‑morning traffic noise came through clearly. The room didn’t have blackout curtains, which made it hard to keep the space dark. The shower controls were a bit tricky to get the temperature just right. At check‑in, the staff member didn’t review amenities or explain where things were located, so we had to figure out most details on our own.

To start with the toilet did not flush. Didn't find that out until after the office closed. I called the maintenance number and that number wasn't accepting calls. I called the emergency after hours number and that number wasn't accepting calls. So I called the number on office door and got voice mail. Left a detailed message and no one called back all week. Imagine that. No hot water in the shower. One week of cold showers is no fun. WiFi did not work at the pool even though there is a WiFi antenna at the pool. The stair rail for the steps into the pool is broken and that is an accident waiting to happen. If no flush is your thing along with cold showers this is a great place.

Véritable coin de paradis 😊 L'appartement était spacieux ,joliment décoré avec des meubles de qualité et neufs. L'électroménager était neuf aussi. La vue était tout simplement splendide. Les logements colorés, les pontons , les palmiers... nous donnent cette impression d'être au bout du monde. Nous avons adoré 😊

Location is amazing, staff super nice.

We’ve stayed many times, this time the pool water was very dingy, and it wasn’t chilled like before. The lounge chair on our deck ( Osprey) was completely broken. The shower head could use a good descaling, we have hard water too, so I understand that happens.

Pool was nice Bed comfortable, room clean Grounds were a little messy garbage on ground by room door. Construction going on so that’s maybe expected but just general untidy kind of things. For the price it wasn’t bad.

Air freshener in room-out Tried to check in early, would have been nice to be invited to sit by the pool. I had to go back and ask if I could.

Nice location and property…..convenient as halfway between Key West and Key Largo. Roomy shower and good water pressure. Very peaceful property.

L'emplacement était bien avec vue sur mer, mais on a pas pu en profiter, on a dû tirer les rideaux pour pas que les personnes qui passaient devant nous voient sur le lit.

On entendait les personnes de la chambre voisine comme s'ils étaient avec nous, très bruyants. Chambres séparées par une porte non isolée. A fuir.

There was an unusual accurence in the bathroom sink which wasn't bad but it was a mystery. It ws a litlle hard to shower without getting water on the floor which I felt bad about.

Room was a little dated but clean & comfortable. Porky's BBQ.....not a good impression (ribs were dry,, whole fried fish had no meat and overcooked. I would not return to Porky's!).

The girls in the office were very nice. The location is excellent.

We could hear the conversation in the next room, and they really were not talking that loud. Do not book the Mako room, it's just to noisy.

Pip's Marina to ośrodek wakacyjny na wschodnim wybrzeżu Keys nad samym oceanem. Pokoje znajdują się w kilku budynkach nad samym oceanem. Ma własną marinę, plażę i pomosty. Nasz pokój był w budynku na piętrze, widok z okna - wspaniały. Wnętrze przestronne, duża osobna sypialnia z wygodnym łóżkiem. Duży telewizor w wyborem opcji od oglądania. Kuchnia z wyposażeniem, ekspres przelewowy i kawa. Przy ośrodku od razu knajpa. Ale ukryty skarb znajduje się kawałek dalej, po drugie strony szosy nr 1. To restauracja Cast Away, przy nabrzeżu której żyje sobie rodzina manatów. Manaty uwielbiają świeżą wodę i co chwilę wynurzają się, by się jej napić z rurki podwieszonej przy nabrzeżu. Miła obsługa zgodziła się po wymeldowaniu zaopiekować naszymi walizkami gdy jechaliśmy na rejs kajakami.

Chciałoby się, by pokój miał balkon od strony oceanu, nasz nie miał, inne tak.

The space was a good size with a big shower.

The pull out couch was very uncomfortable to sleep on with no cushion and you could feel the springs. The biggest disappointment was the pool. The first day the pool was green and the other days the water was very cloudy. It looked unsafe to swim in. It is nice to be able to cool off in the pool after a long boat or sunny day and we were unable to do that. I understand the property is older, but the bathroom had some dirty spots and should be cleaned better.

This place is the real florida keys - not all clean lines and shiny like a hotel room you can get anywhere - come and stay at pips for a genuine FL Keys experience! loggerhead apt is BIG - very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children and located right on the marina to watch the boats going in and out. our snorkel trip was canx because of boat issues and penny was most accomodating to give us our money back. we love it and will always return. porkys restaurant on site was great - so busy but service was great from colleen. see you next year!

5/5 Stars - Fantastic Stay with Exceptional Customer Service! We recently spent 3 wonderful nights at Captain Pip’s Marina and Hideaway, and we cannot recommend it enough. Aside from one unexpected hiccup, we absolutely loved our time here and are already planning our next trip back! The property itself provided a wonderfully calm and peaceful environment. There were no rowdy or loud neighbors, making it a relaxing oasis for our family. It’s a very welcoming, community-oriented place—our family even made friends with another family staying next to us! Having a fully equipped kitchen in our rental was an absolute game-changer. It was essential for saving money on food during our trip, and it gave us the space and convenience we desperately needed for washing baby bottles. What really set Captain Pip’s apart, though, was how they handled an issue on our final night. Our AC unit started leaking, but the responsiveness of the team was unmatched. The after-hours staff stepped in immediately, quickly resolved the issue, and relocated us to a brand-new apartment so we could sleep comfortably. The next morning, the manager sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and proactively refunded us for that night's stay. While moving rooms late at night wasn't ideal, the way the staff handled it showed true professionalism and care for their guests. Exceptional customer service is hard to find these days, but Captain Pip's delivers. Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Tuvimos unos vecinos que a las 6am se pusieron a gritar cocinando en las parrillas que están afuera de cada alojamiento. Cuando hicimos una queja con el personal se rieron y ni siquiera se disculparon. Debería haber algún cartel o advertencia hacia los huéspedes de respetar el horario de descanso de 22 a 8, como he visto en el resto de los lugares que me aloje

Nice “homely & quirky” place….REALLY felt like you were in your own house. Nothing pretentious about it at all. HUGE comfy bed, Kitchen had everything you needed, Bathroom was the same. And a seating area, dining table, BBQ outside on the balcony….is big enough for 4 people as there’s another bed folded into the wall (I think) in the lounge area.

Great location first off. Right in the middle of the keys. A great view from our room and the pool overlooking the Gulf. The staff is always great the ladies upfront are super helpful and informative. Also the gift shop has everything you want or need. We ended up in the apartment and it was more then we expected.

Parking was a bit tight with a truck especially when the other people in the same building also all have trucks,but do recommend backing in to make getting out easier.

Notre chambre avait une vue superbe sue le ponton et l'ilot au large.

Le mobilier était un peu vieillissant. Il m'a fallu un peu de temps pour trouver le bureau pour enregistrer notre arrivée. Pas de flexibilité sur l'heure du départ.

Mi è piaciuto tutto! La camera molto particolare nell'arredamento, molto pulita e accogliente. Completa di microonde, macchina caffè, frigorifero. Letto grande e comodo. Tornerei sicuramente!

Room was very clean and easily accessible. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff called to let us know as soon as the room was ready (it was ready early). Communication was great!

The mattress on the bed was very hard but other than that the room was great!
