Southern Comfort Motel

The kitchen was clean. The parking was ok

The duvet was unclean with food stains. The shower was either scorching hot or freezing cold. The bed springs were prominent. You could hear the upstairs neighbors doing everything.

Location

Outside of building looks dated and would appreciate a fresh coat of paint or update

The price value is perfect. Location is convenient to everything.

Great location. Staff were very helpful and accommodating

Great location, very central to everything we needed to do

Close to everything

Not so clean.

Basic what we needed for night

It was cold the heater didn’t really heat up amazing

Location

The room was so rundown and really unwelcoming. Damp raids everywhere.

Large, sunny upstairs room.

It was really nice and the staff were lovely! Love the shower pressure!

It was just a bit cold, maybe an update on the heaters

Hotel never confirmed booking. Charged me fore full price for room. Had to make other a comidation arrangements. Office person not nice.

Our motel apartment was very clean and modern. Bathroom was very big with lovely shower. Beds were great to sleep in. Only 1 mile from cathedral and with motel next to the park, which was lovely to walk through.

Clean, well located, very pleasant staff.

Noise from neighbouring units was dissappointing

I booked a budget priced room as I am on Superannuation only. It was comfortable, warm & clean for the fee I paid Thank you

Awesome location easy to find without relying on GPS once in Christchurch, heaps of nearby shops and restaurants

Room

Good home

It is in a great location. It’s an older place nothing flash but the price reflects this. It’s still clean and comfortable and some of the rooms have been more done up.

Nothing

Good shower, good bed, great location, good price.

Lousy broadband, tv sub-standard, couch buggered, overall unit very tired and in need of a make-over.

Good location, great amenities

Beds were comfortable. Nice small room.

Everything was good apart from having ants in our motel room.

Comfortable bed for the night Plenty of room for the family Nice and cheap

Pretty run down and not very well equipped kitchen

Friendly staff good shower plenty of pressure

good bathroom

all the windows were opened, a lot of leaves on the floor, and lot of gritty dust over the benches. The cupboard where the hot water cylinder was needs to be finished, big hole in the roof space.

Komfortable Größe der Räume. Zweckmäßig eingerichtete Küchenzeile. Wohn-Schlafraum ließ sich auch bei kaltem regnerischen Wetter gut heizen. Bad war leider kalt .

Middle of the city

Nothing

Close to town. Plenty of parking.

The power tripped out a couple of times, and there were road works early in the morning which made it hard to sleep in. Outside of anyone's control really. But not ideal for light sleepers

The shower was lovely, hot with good pressure. Bed very comfortable. Staff helpful.

The couch with higher back rest. This won't apply to everyone, but l have a bad back, so appreciates back support.

Location

Nothing

Bed is comfortable and the room is spacious

Shower handle is hard to handle

This motel had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the shower had an excellent water flow

No complaints at all

Staff very helpful and pleasant Unit nice and warm Serviced unit nicely each day.

That we had to leave and go back to work

Close to the golden mile ✨️

Sky box kept freezing couldn't ues the service

Great location . Room was made up each day which was nice.

Only a column heater so a bit chilly when frosty.

Great price, super clean and comfortable, these guys run a good operation.

Tolle Lage und viel Platz.

Viel zu kalt und ziemlich Laut wegen dem Verkehr.

位置好，挨着植物园，去哪里都方便

隔音，取暖有限

Close to everything

It was ok

Bit old and daggy

All we need are in the room. Utensils, amenities, hair dryer, heater for winter, iron etc

We have to climb some staircases to upper level as we book family room. With heavy suitcases it's a bit of problem

Well positioned motel. Room was large, warm, and with excellent kitchen facilities and a comfortable bed

The little couch was really uncomfortable and missing padding in the middle and I preferred the hard kitchen seat. The shower had excellent pressure, but the angled ceiling meant it was uncomfortably low for me (6 ft)

I liked the location of this as it was close to the hospital for my purpose of stay

The bed was horrible could feel each spring in the mattress, the curtains were also terrible, and the heater was so old and dated I was to scared to use this incase of something

Good for price

cute and comfy room

room was a little bit cold but still comfy :)

Relax

The location, electric blanket, generally very comfortable.

No spa or hot tub that was advertised .
