Hotel Riu Papayas - All Inclusive

Fantastic Week at RIU Papayas, Maspalomas 🌴☀️ We had an incredible week away at the RIU Papayas in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, exactly the one-week break we needed! From start to finish, everything was great. The staff were fantastic, the entertainment was brilliant, and the food was excellent with plenty of choice. We never had any issues getting a sunbed, and the pool was a great temperature, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. The only thing I would mention is the sleep quality, which I’d rate around 3/5. This was mainly because we were going to bed around 10pm while the evening entertainment continued until around midnight. As we had a pool-view room, the noise was quite noticeable. That said, this was more down to our room location and our early bedtime rather than anything wrong with the hotel. If we return, I’d simply request a room on the outside of the hotel rather than overlooking the pool. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend the RIU Papayas. A brilliant place for a relaxing week away, with great food, friendly staff, entertainment and a lovely atmosphere. We’d happily return! 🌴🍹

Stayed for a week and we had a nice time but not to the standard I would expect for a 4 star. Room was nice and spacious however the aircon was terrible and room would not go below 25 degrees. We told the reception who said they would resolve it but that only improved it to about 23 degrees. This was not ideal considering we were looking forward to aircon after the heatwave in the UK. Pool was small and extremely crowded. Lots of sunbeds very close together and shaded. The adult only areas were more spread out so spent most of the time there but was not very clean so had to keep shoes on. No one collected used cups you had to put them in buckets which is fine but at a 4 star I wouldn’t expect this. The pool had a sloped walkway in but as this was the only shallow bit it would be full of children. There was a raised bit for sunbathing / reading in pool which was nice but due to being so crowded you would just be splashed by children. No issues with getting a sunbed in the adults only section however sunbeds by the pool snapped up in the early morning. Food at the buffet was terrible. Everything was very salty and very limited selection. Even simply tomato pasta was not good. Food labels didn’t always match the dish correctly. I know all inclusive buffets are likely to be average but this was the worse all inclusive I have been to. The booked restaurants were so much nicer. Drinks were nice however cocktails were filled with crush ice and no straws available so hard to drink. Cannot comment on hotel entertainment as didn’t stay for it. Location good close to yum o center and walk to beach. Overall had a nice holiday but I think generally the standard of 4 stars are going down so will be looking at 5 star in future.

We stayed at this Hotel for 2 weeks this summer for a summer holiday! I must say that I arrived with a significant injury and I can only thank the hotel and its staff to be super helpfull and accommodating which let me still enjoy this holiday. We are looking forward to be returning again. Again thank you for a great stay

We had a very enjoyable stay at RIU Papayas and would happily return. The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean and the staff are hardworking and friendly. Food quality was good throughout our stay, with plenty of choice in the buffet and enjoyable speciality restaurants. The location is excellent, with easy access to Playa del Inglés, Yumbo Centre and the Maspalomas Dunes, which were one of the highlights of our holiday. The main negative was the sunbed situation. Although the hotel states that reserving sunbeds is not allowed, this was not enforced during our stay. Guests were reserving beds very early in the morning, sometimes seemingly the night before, and many remained unused until lunchtime or even the afternoon. This made it difficult to find available sunbeds despite many sitting empty for hours. The large shared pergolas were also a source of frustration. Guests would intentionally choose sunbeds on the sunny side of the pool and then pull the pergola across, creating shade for several neighbouring beds at once. This often affected guests who had specifically chosen those areas to stay in the sun. The evening entertainment was a little hit-and-miss compared with other RIU hotels we have visited, and the quality of draught beer varied noticeably between some bars. Overall, however, the positives far outweighed the negatives. Excellent staff, good food, great cleanliness and a convenient location made this a very enjoyable holiday.

Just had a week here , overall we have had a lovey week but have been a little disappointed as we always stay at Riu for its consistency but this one seemed different from others in some ways . Cleanliness … could not be faulted , room cleaned to a high standard every day Food … this is where it differs from other Rius . Although what was served was very tasty it was the same thing in the same place every day, no theme nights and not replenished quickly , we did eat out a few evenings because of this . Personally I wouldn’t bring children here if they don’t eat fish or veal as they will have to survive on pizza or burger and chips Entertainment .. excellent . Animation team are amazing , daytimes there is always something to do round the pool and evening entertainment was enjoyable Pool area … big problems with sun loungers . Nearly all the loungers are covered by a sun canopy so the battle for sun is immense 🤣 if you want a lounger in the sun and by the pool you need to have them reserved by 5 .15 am , by 8 am you will struggle to get a lounger at all apart from the upper deck sun terrace which has no umbrellas. Pool staff whilst very efficient are also tunnel visioned and nothing stops them doing the job in hand which is good but I have literally just been watered with the plants as I clearly don’t move quick enough . Rules for the pool need setting out as you can’t follow a rule if you don’t know it then the staff enforce said invisible rules which leads to confusion such as size of floats you are allowed and where to play pool ball games . Pool extremely crowded as day goes on but good thing is pool opens early so if me you like to swim lengths there is a good couple of hours first thing where you can do so Area outside hotel .. plenty to do here if you like a stroll . Turn right outside hotel and you have a good supermarket , pharmacy and a few gift shops and a really good karaoke bar . Turn left and you have a twenty minute stroll to the beach and busy centre with lots of shops and bars , lively at night but not much happening in the day , felt very safe .

We are currently staying at Riu Papayas, and unfortunately our experience has been very disappointing. We have stayed at several Riu hotels before because we have always had good experiences with the brand. That’s why our expectations were quite high. Sadly, Riu Papayas has not lived up to those expectations. The hotel is extremely large and overcrowded, and it is located on a street with several nightclubs. Loud music and noise continue until late at night, making it almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The facilities are simply not adequate for the number of guests staying here. There are far too few sunbeds around the pool. If you want one, you have to set your alarm for 6:00 a.m. to reserve it with a towel – something that seems to be completely normal here. The entertainment team is also very present throughout the day. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, this is definitely not the right hotel. The rooms also no longer meet today’s standards. Although they have clearly been renovated, it appears to have been done as cheaply as possible. As a result, the rooms still feel dated and lack the quality you would expect. The food was another disappointment. Because of the sheer number of guests, the restaurant feels more like a large cafeteria than a place where you can enjoy a pleasant meal. Both the quality of the food and the overall dining experience were below our expectations. Overall, we do not believe this hotel offers good value for money. Considering the price we paid for this holiday, we expected a much higher standard. This is especially disappointing because our previous experiences with Riu hotels have always been very positive. Unfortunately, we would not recommend Riu Papayas to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality holiday.

I love the Riu chain, you can help yourself to soft drinks or beer and wine on tap rather than waiting behind people ordering lots of drinks at the bar however the white wine ran out frequently. Smaller than the usual Riu hotels, only one main pool so need to get up early to put towel down. Annoyed me when we went out for the day and would come back to towels on sunbeds that had clearly not been used all day and its 4pm! TIP -the side of the pool where reception is, Shaded all morning. Actually most sunbeds have shade sails and people use these far too early, however it was very clean and the staff were amazing, really engaging, learnt a lot about them. They work all day and night, great shows in the evening. Close to shops and can walk 20 minutes to beach or find the shuttle bus. FOOD: Labels are badly needed here, I have a wheat allergy and nothing was labelled. There is a large variety but was mainly the same every day, one day there seemed to be only pork which i just don't like and couldn't find any chicken dishes. the Spanish restaurant did not appeal to us but the Asian one was amazing and we booked it twice. The Key cards kept failing and had to be reset which was frustrating, i tried to keep it away from any bank cards and phone. Also need to do something with wristbands, so uncomfortable

Hotel overall pretty good, entertainment team were very good and there’s lots to do during the day, overall food was good although the Chinese buffet wasn’t great. Downside, people vaping around pool area, need to get up early if you want a sunbed at the front near pool, no consistency when telling people where they could play ball or use lilos, rings etc sometimes the lifeguard would tell people and sometimes he wouldn’t, also babies not wearing swimming nappies so there were some leakages in the pool.It can still be noisy as well in the early hours of the morning

El hotel impecable La atención maravillosa La comida riquísima Fue un placer ir y disfrutar de las instalaciones

En general el hotel está fenomenal, dentro de que es grande, se siente acogedor y todo esta muy "a mano" en sus instalaciones. No tienes la sensación de estar en un hotel excesivamente masificado como puede ocurrir en otros todo incluido, de hecho, no sueles tener ni tan siquiera problemas a la hora de encontrar por ej. una hamaca o sitio en cualquiera de las terrazas para tomar algo o comer/cenar. Las intalaciones comunes (zona de escenario, restaurantes, recepción...) están impecables, se ven muy nuevas. Destacaría igualmente su buffet: bastante variedad, buena calidad y mucha cantidad de comida. Tiene dos restaurantes temáticos bajo reserva que también están muy bien. Nos sorprendió especialmente el español, donde puedes incluso elegir el plato principal a la carta. El personal es encantador, todo el mundo es increiblemente amable, destacando especialmente al equipo de animación: el gran trabajo que hacen en todas las actividades y shows, y sobre todo su trato con los más pequeños, que les cogen muchisimo cariño durante los días de estancia.

Por ponerle un par de pegas: 1. El vaso de la piscina es quizá un poquito pequeño para el volumen de gente. Sin ser un hotel masificado, si hay momentos del día donde la piscina se queda algo justa. Hay que tener en cuenta que una parte esta "reservada" para juegos con balones y pelotas, y el resto hay momentos del dia donde hay actividades (aqua gym, alfombra...) con lo cual a veces es un poco complicado poder darse un baño con un poco de calma... Si tienes niños puedes hacer uso de la infantil, pero si que para los mayores hubiera sido perfecto una segunda piscina, como por ej. tienen en el Vistamar. 2. Nuestra habitación era un poco pequeña y no se veía tan "nueva" como el resto del hotel. A pesar de que el baño estaba genial (grande, con el retrete separado en una estancia independiente, etc.) lo que es la zona de dormitorio se quedaba justisima. Hay que tener en cuenta que nosotros teniamos una cama doble y un sofa cama muy grande, que claro, al estar abierto, se comía todo el espacio. Era realmente una habitación ideal para una pareja, no tanto para una familia.

This was named as a TUI platinum 4 star hotel so had understandably high expectations. While in the main the hotel was good, there were some areas that let it down. Firstly the good, the staff were all very good all over the hotel from room cleaning to bar, the buffer and reception, all extremely helpful. There were plenty of sun beds but it did depend if you were up early enough to get the best spots, I would say probably around d 6-30am or get the early sun. The 2 litre bottles of water freely available to put in the room in your fridge were very handy. There was a very wide choice of food available so no matter how picky and fussy you are there should be something available for you. The daytime entertainment was plenty although pretty much the same thing most days like aqua aerobics and bingo with some variations on some things. The areas that could be improved on are that the cocktails either came from an automated machine or from a readymade mix so difficult to tell if there was any alcohol in them. They were also served in very small plastic glasses. The labelling of the food needs to be much better as my wife has special dietary requirements so couldn’t work out what some of the food was and while she could have asked did not want to have to do this all the time. There is a lot of pork, veal and fish dishes so maybe some more variety could be seen here.The evening entertainment was very limited with a kids disco and then a main show starting around 9pm for about 45 minutes and that was pit apart from a couple of karaoke nights which unless you want to take part or listen to songs in a variety of languages wasn’t great. With no quizzes or game shows the entertainment could be finished before 10pm. A couple of final points, book the Riu free Friday night party (free but off site) as soon as you check in, we were told by reception staff we could book the following day but when we tried to all the spaces had gone couldn’t go. Also I wouldn’t call the speciality restaurants special ! The Asian one had good food but was still all buffet and the Spanish was a buffet started then served from a choice of mains then a set desert. These do need booking in advance. Overall an enjoyable stay and while I’d happily go to another Riu hotel, it wouldn’t be this one having also explored the local area.

Just got back from the Riu papayas, we had a nice holiday but I wouldn’t return. The food was nice but felt like there was too much fish every day. The drinks weren’t the best, my kids were looking forward to the slushes but they said they were bad! The pool felt too over crowded for me, lots of sun loungers but everyone is on top of each other, there’s no space

Brilliant hotel! Clean, friendly staff, Nice food! The only thing that let the hotel down was the Rui staff! Hotel staff were brilliant! Couldn’t ask for more but as for the two Riu staff booking in excursions! Wow! Shockingly rude, unhelpful! I’m actually shocked at how bad the service from them was! I’d avoid them at all costs! Don’t bother booking excursions! When you book you’ll get told the transfers included only to find out on the day, you will need to get yourself there!! Totally miss sold the package! But don’t let this take anything away from the hotel! Brilliant place to stay & very good staff! - Riu I’d get rid of the two reps immediately, joke of a service!

Tivemos uma excelente experiência no Hotel Riu Papayas, em Gran Canaria. A receção foi sempre prestável e atenciosa. Tivemos um pequeno problema com a terceira cama, que não estava preparada no quarto, mas a equipa resolveu tudo rapidamente e sem medir esforços para garantir que ficássemos confortáveis. O quarto esteve sempre muito limpo, e as camas eram bastante confortáveis. As refeições foram simplesmente maravilhosas! Muita variedade, excelente qualidade e opções diferentes em todas as refeições. As bebidas e os cocktails também eram muito bons. Um destaque especial para a equipa de animação, que está de parabéns! Passam o dia a interagir com os hóspedes, sempre com muita energia e simpatia, criando atividades e procurando manter todos entretidos. Foram 5 dias de muito descanso, diversão e bons momentos. Saímos muito satisfeitos com a nossa estadia e com vontade de voltar!

We had a fantastic holiday at the RIU Papayas and would definitely return. The hotel was spotless, and all the staff were so friendly, welcoming and hardworking. The food was excellent with plenty of choice every day, and there was always something different to try. The pool area was lovely, with plenty of sunbeds, and the entertainment team worked so hard to make everyone feel included. The location was perfect too, with an easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. Overall, we had a really relaxing and enjoyable holiday, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. Thank you to everyone at RIU Papayas for making our stay so special – we can’t wait to come back!

4th time visiting riu papayas, hotel has everything you need, location is good, food and drink as good as every other visit we have had here. Negatives are sunbeds being reserved as early as 4am, restaurant gets very busy and at these times food items go quicker than they are cooked. Room wasnt very clean on arrival and during our stay

El servicio de camareros, toallas, limpieza,tenían la habitación hecha a media mañana!!! La recepción, gracias a Bartolo por la habitación y hacernos nuestra estancia muy cómoda, por supuesto ese equipo de animación que es espectacular y sus actuaciones por la noche que son de 10!!!En general instalaciones correctas, muy cómodo,espacios muy bonitos, el trasporte a la playa. El personal muy amable y siempre pendiente del cliente. El Restaurante Olé, muy bueno todo! Han sido unas buenas vacaciones, repetiremos sin duda!

El bufét quizás un poco corto al medio día en comida Española respecto algún guisadito caldoso de patatas o legumbres para mi gusto, quizás se enfoquen en el turismo extranjero

Lo más llamativo de éste hotel es el increíble colectivo de animadores,cuidenlos pq da vida al hotel.

We stayed at the hotel from the 29th June - 10th July. My experience… Firstly, the food is okay but there is definitely a need for more theme nights/change. I understand there are themed restaurants but it can sometimes be hard to book this. Regarding the entertainment myself and my family cannot fault the team. I want to give a special mention to Cuba (hope I got his name) he is absolutely fantastic at what he does and also has great banter. Cuba really is an asset to the RIU team and I am also impressed at the effort but the team as a whole to learn guest names. The swimming pool is lovely but I think another one could be needed as it does get overcrowded during hot times (understandable). In relation to the rooms they are really nice and very clean there is one cleaner in particular who again is an asset and is clearly passionate about what she does. Finally, most of the reception team are helpful and fantastic, however, I did find a couple of them a little grumpy. Overall, thank you for a well needed break❤️

First time in a RUI hotel and mixed thoughts to be fair, the check in was easy and quick and very welcoming :) the rooms are very nice clean comfy and lots of space lovely pool garden view, the food was meh to be honestly a lot of choice but mostly all the same each night and day time not much changed in food choices like theme nights in the restaurant it self! The pool is lovely and warm but around the pool never got cleaned all the time we was there very dirty floor! Only aloud lilos in the small area of the pool which doesn’t have enough space! The entertainment was ok 👌🏻

Lovely hotel. Staff were all warm and very friendly. Service was great. Buffet was extensive and all freshly cooked in front of you. The hotel was extremely clean and well looked after. We had a lovely family holiday and I would highly recommend staying here

I would never go back to this hotel or recommend this hotel. It's a 4 star but more like a 3. Food is disappointing and it's the same thing everyday. The food really lets the hotel down and should have a star removed ive had better in a 3 star hotel. I was here for 10 days and the entertainment could also be better we had 2 nights that the entertainment was good but then got boaring. Cockroches are seen running about the pool area and my mum also had one in her room witch is not great.

We stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago and, overall, had a lovely holiday. The hotel itself is very well maintained. The grounds and gardens are beautifully kept, the pool was always clean, warm, and a great place to relax, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job. Our room was cleaned every day, and we received fresh towels daily, which was much appreciated. The room itself was comfortable but starting to show its age. The shower temperature constantly fluctuated between hot, cold, and very hot, which made it difficult to use comfortably. There were also a few areas in the bathroom, such as the silicone sealant, that could do with a more thorough clean or some maintenance. The biggest disappointment was the food. While there was plenty available, the buffet became quite repetitive, particularly at lunch and dinner, where the same dishes seemed to appear most days. There were also two themed restaurants, which helped provide some variety. The drinks were a bit mixed. The mojitos were enjoyable, but some of the machine-made cocktails, such as the piña colada, weren’t particularly good. The beer advertised as Amstel also didn’t taste like Amstel, which was a little disappointing. There was a 24-hour food outlet, which was a nice idea, but the selection was quite limited. It would have been great to have more snack options available throughout the day, rather than just a small choice of food. Overall, despite a few areas that could be improved, we had a very enjoyable stay. The cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, beautiful grounds, and excellent housekeeping really stood out. If the hotel refreshed the rooms, improved the consistency and variety of the food, and expanded the snack and drink options, it would be an even better experience.I

This is a great hotel in a good location in playa del inglis ,the food was absolutely superb for an all inclusive hotel ,lots to choose from and very well cooked every day ,the pool is big enough with the only very slight issue is the shades that can be drawn back by staff ,we found it easier just to get beds with the smaller shades as there was some issues with people requiring shades open or closed which was entertainment in itself .older beds need replaced though but this has already started ,the staff were exceptional ,we had an incident with my daughter being unwell and they were on the scene immediately making sure everything was ok ,from lifeguards to management which was very reassuring ,the shuttle bus is a must and gets you to the beach and back easily ,the surrounding area has bars and restaurants nearby also .i would definitely recommend this hotel for a holiday

This is our first time at this hotel we have stayed at many riu hotels before this one wasn’t the best. Most of the staff were very nice especially the bar staff and the cleaners especially Angelica. The restaurant staff were ok but some of them were not particularly friendly and often forgot to ask us if we wanted water with our meal. The dinners at night were barely warm and most of the veg was almost cold. The room was great we had a two bedroom room it gave us plenty of space and the cleanliness was superb. We didn’t rate the entertainment but a lot of guests did we found it quite amateurish. The area outside of the hotel wasn’t great no cafes or bars nearby it was near a bus stop and the hotel had a free bus to the beach daily. I don’t think we will return that’s just our personal choice.

Exceptional stay! We can only give this RIU hotel the highest rating. Everything was perfect from start to finish: the facilities were beautiful, well maintained, and spotlessly clean at all times. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a truly relaxing stay. A special mention goes to the food, which was excellent throughout our stay. The variety and quality were outstanding, with plenty of options to suit every taste. The staff were equally impressive—friendly, professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. A heartfelt thank you to Ada at the reception desk, whose kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made our experience even more enjoyable. She is a real asset to the hotel. We highly recommend this RIU hotel and look forward to returning in the future. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Check in and reception were very good and knowledgeable and efficient Room was good sized but could do with a few changes, for example bath towels are very small, toilet paper is very low quality, no plug sockets near a mirror and it could have done with another work surface/desk area. Food was average, some days better than others. Some items were of very low quality, for example the burgers were very gristly. Some days would be heavily loaded to one particular meat so if you didn’t like that particular meat, choices became limited General service of the hotel could be improved. Compared to other Rius I have stayed in I felt this one lacked the personal touch. It’s more of a ‘do it yourself’ attitude rather than people wanting to help you. For example, you don’t get offered a drink at dinner, it’s self service and there aren’t people around the pool wanting to help you with sunbeds or parasols. These are minor issues and not a huge problem. But when on holiday I feel like they are nice to have. Overall for the price paid we think it was good value but just a few tweaks would make this hotel even better and make us more likely to want to return. Currently we are glad we went and would return to Gran Canaria but not to this hotel

Overall good for food and drinks. Cocktails were machine made which was poor. the evening entertainment was very poor.

Checked in (around 21:30) easy and quick. Shown to lovely large room on 7th (top) floor. Went to restaurant at 22:00pm they had saved a soup/salad for us (thanks, much appreciated). Rooms Black out curtains really good, noise level very good, could hear the main road but wasn't an issue. Air con and fan keeps room cool. Plenty of hangers and space for clothes and tea/coffee/fridge. Pool Area The Pool was absolutely lovely. The warmest one I think I've had. Heated salt water. Sun beds are all crammed in, so you can hear the person next to you, and struggle to get on the damb thing, as there is no room to move them. This is the only thing we didn't really like. Sunbeds around pool are reserved at 6am... another thing we don't like. Wasn't really a problem for us, as we always found somewhere and sometimes didn't go to pool until around 11am. Aquafit everyday at 12 is good fun. Food Really good, as you would expect, can be quite repetitive, but as a fish/chicken salad lover, I was happy. Drinks Cocktails not too bad, not the best but better than some hotels. Red wine in the restaurant was drinkable. Spirits were ok (only tried Vodka and rum though). Help yourself to wine, beer and soft drinks all day long. Water bottles available from bar to help yourself. Restaurants Usual main buffet and then 2 A-la Carte (bookable), One Asian and one Spanish. There are 2 sittings either 18:30 or 20:30. We had no trouble booking and went to the 20:30 sitting at both restaurants. Asian was horrible, the meat was all dry and hard. Spanish was nice. Gym Used the gym once and it was ok. Evening entertainment Most of the time it was good from what we saw. The Riu party (white or Neon rotating), was brilliant. Daytime activities Usual darts, bingo, archery etc but I didn't partake in any of those. Resort Not related to the hotel, obviously, but still important. We did think the resort itself was a bit dirty, and grubby. When walking to the Dunes one day we saw human excrement on the pavement with toilet roll. On more than one occasion, what looked like vomit. It seems no one cleans the pavements, unlike some cleaner resorts, that I have been to. For this reason we would not go back to this resort.

We have had a great time at this hotel. Plenty of sunloungers but yes the best areas are took very very very early. The food has been fantastic! Really impressed! Everything has been great except really the area wasn’t really for us as not much to do. We visited the lighthouse area which was nice and also the Palmitos park which was the highlight of the trip.

Everything about the hotel is good which is why we keep going back for another holiday. Cleanliness is faultless, Rooms are large and food very good. The animators and fitness staff put on lots og activities.

Third time at this resort, everything as you would expect from a 4.5 star resort. Always plenty of loungers available throughout the day, room spotless, food quality and variety very good.

This was our second stay at the Papayas, we weren’t disappointed, the staff are the hotels greatest asset, they are all very welcoming, polite and helpful. The food was really good , drinks were good especially the calypso coffee. Would say my only disappointment was the entertainment , some nights it was amazing with the acrobat teams other nights it was very repetitive, but wouldn’t stop me going back. Great holiday for couples and families.

La habitación y la piscina

Pague por estar el fin de semana de viernes a domingo, sin embargo el precio que pagué me parece elevado, hice el check out (a las 12:00) hasta cuando te dejaban, y no me dejaron pasar el día en la piscina (si así lo quería tenía que pagar 50€ más por persona) , o sea en realidad me di cuenta que había pagado dos días del alojamiento y no tres. La comida siempre era la misma variaba muy muy poco, entonces el precio me parece bastante caro y elevado para el poco tiempo que estuvimos. Deberían al menos dejarte pasar lo que queda de día en la piscina por los tres días que pague.

The hotel is lovely from the staff reception, bar, restaurant, chefs and house keepers they were all attentive n happy blooming hard workers. Shout out to the chef who kept cooking the fish they were cooked to perfection. The entertainment guys were full of beans 24/7 great bunch you have there. The rock show was fantastic 🤘take a bow 👏.Hotel was immaculate. Only 1 slight criticism the food was quite repetitive, I love chicken and fish. My partner doesn't like fish or pork and the 1 day there was 4 different porks, and not much else he fancied so he had pasta. But overall we really enjoyed so thankyou for making our holiday chilled

service was impeccable from choice of room, pool service and food. Spotlessly clean. All staff were friendle and helpful. I have been to Riu hotels and find them all of the same quality and excelent service, will have no hesitation of booking another holiday at the Papayas or any other Riu hotel. As we are an 80 year old couple it would have been nice to be closer than the end rooms on the building we found this very stressful

Absolutely wonderful hotel . Everyone of the staff were friendly and hard working . The entertainment team were wonderful and so professional. The restaurant team work so hard to give the most amazing food with lots of choice . I would recommend this hotel . This is our second stay and will be back thank for a lovely holiday 😁

La verdad que la comida estaba muy rica, el restaurante oriental no merece la pena, la comida de muy poca calidad y el sushi no tenia nada de sabor. El hotel en general muy bien y el personal súper atento.

Returned a few weeks ago with mixed feelings , not quite what we expected for a RUI , the evening entertainment was pretty dire where the acts wouldnt get a gig in a working mans club , the place is huge and have only 2 seated bar areas so you have to down early to get a seat , there is no inside bar area either so if its raining or turning chilly a night as it was some nights your stuck. On the upside the food was plenty full and of a good standard , The Chinese themed restaurant is worth a visit if you can get booked in. The reception staff are very helpful as we had issues with the safe and our key card not working on a few occasions and was dealt with very promptly. Getting a sun bed was no problem we managed to get the same spot for the whole week with no silly get up times . Entertainment team were always working hard to keep people entertained if you wanted to be , Cant comment on the white party as didnt make it due to travel times but looks like plenty form the hotel did go . Relaxing atmosphere all week , would I return probably not although it was a nice relaxing week . If you go out of the hotel turn right about a 2 minute walk there is a set of bars on the left what are set back showing all football etc etc the Holland bar is well worth a visit cracking pint of Heineken for 4 euros . Made a few trips to Jumas where loads of shops and bars , ate down there 2 nights , prices same as UK to be honest but a nice change .

Zeer mooi en net hotel . Zwembad met bar en meer dan voldoende ligplaatsen . Het all inclusive eten en drinken is prima . De kamer was groot en schoon . Er was de gehele dag door entertainment . Het entertainment team en het overige personeel zeer vriendelijk.

O hotel é ótimo, super completo, funcionários super simpáticos, ambiente super tranquilo, comodidades boas também, as refeições também ótimas, muita variedade de comida. Recomendamos e certamente voltaremos.

Te hacen sentir como en casa, gente encantadora y profesional, siempre les encontrarás con una sonrisa en la cara desde la gente de recepción, animación y hasta acabar por el personal de limpieza del hotel. Ha sido una bonita experiencia para volver a repetir cuando surja otra posibilidad, nos hemos ido encantados tanto yo como mi pareja, las actuaciones y shows por parte de la gente de animación fueron espectaculares junto a las coreografias.

Por ponerle un pero que la verdad es complicado, se le pondria al vino que tienen para servir a los clientes siendo de cañero, fuimos a cenar al Olé al español un par de veces y sinceramente cuando comes a la carta los excelentes menús que nos sirvieron pues una copa de Rioja pues se echa de menos la verdad y no tomar ese vino con esos menú. Otro punto a mencionar, la falta de baños para los clientes cuando se dispone de 3 restaurantes a la gente le gusta ir al servicio en el restaurante en el que estás en ese momento no tener que salir del restaurante para poder ir al servicio.

Jak společné prostory, tak i pokoje působí, jako by byl hotel úplně nový, zážitek podtrhuje exkluzivní výběr jídla, drinků a k tomu úžasný a přátelský personál. Ve srovnání s jinými hotely, které jsem na Kanárských ostrovech již navštívil, byl tento s přehledem nejlepší! Určitě se sem opět vrátím.

La piscina bastante amplia, los cócteles estaban buenos, con hielo picado no los típicos de máquina solo. Animaciones con mucha frecuencia como aquagym y los animadores muy agradables. Algo positivo de la piscina es que está delimitada, y solo se puede estar con colchonetas y pelotas en una zona. Tiene buffet asiático que a mí particularmente me gustó, no es enorme pero para 1 o 2 noches es perfecto (hay que reservar con antelación). El almuerzo y la cena bastante variadas, tiene de todo y pizzas en todo momento. Para los canarios he de decir que no es el típico hotel para guiris que solo te ponen su música y ambientada para ellos, me sentí muy cómoda en ese sentido. Las habitaciones están genial, me tocó la familiar y es muy grande. Camas cómodas y sin ruido externo. Sin duda volvería, mi estancia fue muy buena

Poco puedo decir que no me haya gustado, pero si tengo que recalcar algo es la poca variedad del desayuno, sobre todo en bollería.

Todo: la ubicación, las habitaciones eran amplias, la comida del bufet era muy variada, instalaciones inmejorables, el personal era super amable y te ayudaba en todo. Muchas actividades a todas horas. La piscina es grande y tiene muchas hamacas. Estaba super limpio y cuidado

Por poner un defecto el parking tenía pocas plazas para la cantidad de gente que se aloja
