Tuvimos que cambiar la habitación porque no eran de nuestro agrado estaba en la planta baja patio interior con poca luz y muy poca luz en la habitación. Pasamos al edificio nuevo y tuvimos que pagar el suplemento lógicamente

Emplacement hyper central avec la possibilité de garer et de recharger sa voiture sur place. Bon accueil, grande chambre très confortable. A recommander.

Le rapport qualité prix du petit déjeuner peut être amélioré sans grande difficulté.

We lived in a separate builing close to the main one. It has a nice look so most people used to take photo in front of it. The hotel is very cosy and has a small garden inside where one could seat for ours drinking coffee and admiring the atmosphere. From the hotel you can get to the main centre or central market by foot in minutes. Also the largest beach is very close. Our room was large and comfortable with a few balconies overlooking pedestrian street.

Excellent location very close to markets, shops and restaurants. Clean, stylish & comfortable room. Pleasant outdoor terrace & garden area for dining. Friendly & helpful staff.

Il prezzo! Pagato 568 euro x 2 notti e senza 1ma colazione. Non mi sta bene! Loro dicono che prenotando da Booking io non avessi scelto la 1ma colazione, ma avendo visto il prezzo, pensavo fosse inclusa. Alla fine me l’hanno fatta pagare (x me e mio figlio) 100 euro x 2 giorni. Tra l’altro la camera era in una mansarda, al 2do piano, senza ascensore, in una depandance dell’hotel a 30 m dall’hotel stesso. Onestamente la cosa non mi è piaciuta e ho richiesto il rimborso delle colazioni, loro mi hanno proposto la metà, ma a me non sta bene. Gli ho scritto diverse mail, ma visto che non rispondono, recensisco negativamente. Tra l’altro la posizione non è nemmeno vicina al mare….. il tutto, per sole 2 notti, mi è costato oltre 700 euro, il cui rapporto prezzo/qualità, NON li vale assolutamente.

The staff were exceptional, the hotel is comfortable and central. The added bonus of having a car parking space makes Hotel de Silhouette the perfect hotel to stay at in Biarritz

The only problem was trying to find the hotel because of the road restrictions but the staff rescheduled us bless them.

L’aménagement de la maison annexe est superbe, la petite terrasse juste après la porte d’entrée et le cosy salon disponible pour les résidents de l’annexe, et le matelas très confortable

Encore mieux si le wifi fonctionnait dans le cosy salon au Rez de chaussée de la maison annexe (surtout car le cosy salon est vraiment pratique pour se poser en silence - versus le rez de chaussée du bâtiment principal étant très passant)

Ubicación y limpieza. Jardín muy agradable. El personal es muy atento con la salvedad de una de las recepcionistas que realizan turnos y que resultó muy impertinente y poco profesional en su trato con el cliente.

El parking es muy pequeño para dar cobertura a las habitaciones con las que cuenta el hotel, y no es un parking de hotel al uso. El precio de la habitación es elevado para ser un 4 estrellas. El aire acondicionado de la habitación no refrigera adecuadamente.

The property was generally clean however … we did find a big lump of a previous residents cheese in the fridge which made us question how well the room had been checked or cleaned - the staff did deal with this very quickly for us

Contemporary small hotel, super centrally located in Biarritz, across Les Halles. Very convenient to have a parking area and a nice garden/patio area. Breakfast is top notch and sitting outside in the courtyard in the morning is great. Staff very helpful.

Be aware that the sofabed in the suite is too small to make a full 4-person room. Bathroom was also rather small. If we would come back (which we would) I would book 2 separate rooms.

The room 102 was large and very comfortable with a little balcony for relaxing. Highly recommend this room because it also had a lovely view of the garden. The beds and pillows were comfy too. The selection at the buffet breakfast was varied and tasty. We enjoyed reading in the shady garden. An absolute sanctuary for those meeting friends and family for lunch. The staff were helpful and efficient. However two young women impressed us. One very friendly and charming young woman ( with a braid ) on reception and another young woman ( wearing glasses ) who always greeted us with a smile at breakfast. We are Australian and appreciate the personal attention they showed us.

We liked everything and will hopefully return for a second visit to Hotel de Silhouette.

Die Lage ist sehr gut und sogar mit Parkplatz! Wir hatten ein Zimmer in einem Nebengebäude ein paar Schritte weiter. Das sollte man bei der Buchung beachten. Die Aussstattung der Zimmer ist sehr hochwertig und liebevoll im Retro-Look gestaltet. Das hat schon was :-) Das Badezimmer war groß und mit einer tollen Dusche ausgestattet. Das WC war sogar getrennt! Es gibt einen kostenfreien Wasserspender (auch mit Sprudel) im EG - das war wirklich sehr angenehm bei der HItze! Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der kleine Garten wunderschön für eine kleine Pause.

Leider hatten wir ein sehr dunkles Zimmer in der zweiten Etage unter dem Dach! Das kam durch das eine recht schmale Fenster, das auch noch erhöht angebrcht war. Man hatte keinen direkten Blick nach draußen. Schade! Ein hellerer Farbton und man hätte nicht das Gefühl in einer Dunkelkammer untergeracht worden zu sein. Das Zimmer an sich hatte einen sehr interessanten Schnitt - auch bedingt durch die Dachbalken. Leider wurde dieser durch die sehr dunkle Farbe in den Hintergrund gerückt. Das war wirklich der einzige Punkt den wir zu bemängel haben. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dieses Hotel buchen - allerdings darauf achten, dass wir ein Zimmer bekommen - mit "normal große Fenstern" und nicht unter dem Dach. Wahrscheinlich war das Zimmer für den Farbton, der insgesamt für das Hotel stimmig war, einfach zu klein. Wir können uns vorstellen, dass der Ton in größeren Zimmern recht gut aussieht.

Stylish Maison de Silhouette is a nicely restored guest house in the quiet end of Rue Gambetta. Tea and coffee facilities are available in the reception area and also in the room. An added bonus is the self service sparkling water and drinking water available in reception. Breakfast is served in the Hotel de Silhouette just a stones throw away and the garden at the back is lovely.

The location is great and in the center of town. Right across from the food hall and lots of shops.

We were placed in the handicap/accessible room which clearly was not redone to accessibility standards. However the issue was two fold. Main issue was that the shower floods, not only the bathroom but even into the main bedroom, due to lack of drainage. The tiling you could tell was not laid properly to allow for downward drainage into the drain, the tiles actually pointed up towards the drain in the center, so the water inevitably flowed back down towards the walls. I took a shower of less than 3 minutes and within that time the room had flooded around 6cm and was about to run into the bedroom (with wooden flooring). On the accessibility front, the bathroom had been redone but was not done to meet safety standards. There were was one safety rail that had been installed right next to the toilet but none within the shower. The shower head was hand held only with no holder to place the shower head above you to wash your hair, meaning you had to hold the shower head the whole time while washing. This is not suitable for someone who needs to hold onto a handrail while showering. Nor was the flooring suitable for someone with mobility issues: stone that was extremely slippery, no grip or markings to provide somewhere safe to stand while showering. With the amount of water and flooding issues this was even more laughable when we noticed that there were electrical outlets close to the baseboards and they all were covered in a metal encasement. The light switch was also metal, which I question the decision to use in a wet electrified environment. The Dyson hairdryer is a nice touch, but I cannot safely use that when standing in 6cm of water. When brought to the attention of the staff, they were understanding and tried to accommodate, with rubber gripping for the shower and plenty of towels to mop up what water we could, but fundamentally the room should not be used until the bathroom is fixed.

Tha staf was great. The room was superb. The location super. Super with the gateway and garden.

No place to store surfboard. (Dryingroom for wetsuitwould be great). But we were happy that we could take the board to the room.

The location is perfect for accessing shops, restaurants and both beaches. The hotel has a lovely laid back ambience and the staff are very attentive and friendly.

While our room was clean and the bed comfortable, I was disappointed with how small it was. Our room was 120A and there were a number of rooms with an A appended. These rooms appeared to be annexed to the larger rooms. I felt this should have been made clear to me when I was making the reservation on Booking.com as I would have requested a larger room.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt zentral in Biarritz gelegen. Die Räume waren gut durchdacht!

Das Frühstück von 25€ pro Person war sein Geld nicht wert.

Offered a cheap upgrade on arrival, had a beautiful (huge) rooftop terrace. Room was in good condition, bathroom had double showers and good amenities/soaps.

Lit très confortable. Vue sur jardin et mer. Le calme. Une nuit des clients avaient mis la musique à fond dans leur chambre mais le personnel a réagit immédiatement suite à notre remarque :) Super jolie décoration. Emplacement en plein centre animé, mais avec un jardin calme pour se reposer.

Das Personal war nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, üppig und das Ambiente war sehr schön. Die Lage des Hotels ist in unmittelbarer Nähe zu vielen Restaurants und Bummelmeilen.

Das Hotel hat zwar ein Restaurant welches aber sehr begrenzt geöffnet hat. Der Teppich in den Zimmern ist nicht mehr schön gewesen.

Hotel de Silhouette is located in central Biarritz. Nearby is the Halles de Biarritz which is worthy of a visit. Within a few minutes walk of the hotel are a number of top class restaurants. A 10 minute walk and your down by the sea. A must visit is the old harbour

Our first room was an attic room, wasn’t very nice interiors and hardly any natural light or view. So feel for this reason the interiors needs to to more of a wow. Luckily you were able to offer us another room choice, and that room was gorgeous, beautifully designed and welcoming.

Tiene una ubicación muy buena, el hotel es pequeño pero cuidado y coqueto.

El olor al entrar al hotel, huele como a vinagre, pensábamos el primer día que era algo ocasional pero no, un olor muy poco agradable cuando entras.

La chambre inadmissible pour un 4 étoile d avoir une chambre au rdc sur une cours intérieure pratiquement sans lumière du jour. Obliger de sortir de la chambre pour espérer voir un bout de ciel !!!

Very nice location.

Le lit était très bon et la décoration de la chambre très jolie. Simplement une chambre minuscule mais ça n’était que pour une nuit ! Petit déjeuner très bien et les équipements de la chambre grand standard (gel douche, séchoir Dyson). Belle expérience et la localisation est top.

Toute petite chambre pour 2 personnes, c’est juste.
