Reviewed Aug 16, 2026The hotel Villa Koegui is a charming hotel located in a quiet part of central Biarritz. It is very well located for the Grande Plage, the smaller Plage de Pecheur and only a little further away from the Cote de Basque beach. It is also very close many good restaurants and shops. The hotel was clean and public areas tastefully decorated. There is a pretty garden also. The room was very comfortable and a good size. The staff were very pleasant and eager to help with tourism queries/restaurant bookings. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and well presented

Due to our very early departure flight, breakfast treats were prepared and in our room the night before and fresh coffee was made available in the morning, as we were leaving outwith breakfast time. We thought this was above and beyond. Additionally the bed was comfortable, the room was dark, cool and quiet and the room was a good size. It was also spotless. Great value for money.
